How are my favorite mobsters doing today? Everyone working on racking up as much Mob Rep as you can? (amidst all the crashes..which hopefully will be ending VERY soon) So as we’re in the full swing of the event, everyone should be earning Mob Rep at a decent rate. So whatcha gonna do with all that Mob Rep you’re collecting? Unlock really cool prizes of course!
While we’ve taken break in recent events from the prize chart, it’s nice to see TinyCo going back to it for the Mobster Event! Of course it’ll take some work to unlock all of the prizes, but hey you have a month to do it! So let’s take a look at the fifth”real” prize of the Mob Event…the Mafia Dinner Table…
There are a total of 10 Mob Rep Prizes ranging in cost from 100 
up to 17,500 . The Mafia Dinner Table is actually the 9th prize awarded, and you’ll earn it once you reach 15,000 . We’ve broken down prizes 1 through 4 on our Gondola Ride post here, prizes 5 and 6 here, the Security Octopus here and the Gurl Scout HQ here. So now let’s take a look at the 9th prize….
The fifth”real” prize for the event…the Mafia Dinner Table. Because Italians always end the day gathered around the dinner table….
Prize: Mafia Dinner Table
Unlock Point: 9th Prize unlocked at 15,000
Size: 2×3
Does it Do Anything?: Another animated decoration for Quahog. Basically looks like they’re talking & joking with each other….
Personal Thought: Meh, at this point I’m kind of over these useless decorations. It’s funny, but meh not really high on my list of favorite prizes.
Remember:
When unlocking the prizes you’ll have to claim them from the prize group in order to get them in your Quahog. Once you’ve earned enough to unlock the prize you’ll see this popup:
You’ll still have to go to the individual prize page and tap “Claim” in order to get it in your town (this goes for the Cookies and Clams too…if you don’t tap claim you won’t see them).

Most of the “grand” prizes in this event, both the individual leader board prizes and those for getting 3 stars, have not been all that grand. I already had Consuela, as I bought her with gifted clams when she was on sale, but that would have been an awesome prize, and getting clams is never a negative, but the rest of the decos, eh. As stated in other posts, at least the mafia table is small, and it looks nice in the garden of my winery.
I wish I could have purchased a bunch of the dead chalk body outlines, considering the carnage happening on the roads with all the girl scouts being run over by trucks! *grin*

It’s kinda fun, Tucked it behind the Taste of Sicily. Kinda wish the new buildings weren’t another Italian restaurant and meat place though since there are already the Taste of Sicily and Meatlofaria.

I got washee back , but now he is reset, I only needed 2 videotapes to unlock him, now I need everything again. I contacted tinyco, but they probably don’t care. It’s not fair to take away progress due to their bad update.

I am about to give this gave a very very very bad review, like cussing bad! I have been playing this game forever! I’m almost a level 60 and I don’t think I have ever comment on this game till now! I recently stooped playing cause it won’t let me buy a store to get the dancers in the fatfather to get through the takanawa compound, i’ve tried updating, nothing soon as I click on the store to buy it for 550 cookies it immediately shuts down, I’ve given it time and its been 2 weeks, I figured after an update our sum time it would work itself out, but NO! I’M SUCK AND TIRED OF IT, I’M ABOUT TO BLAST THIS ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA, THIS SITE HACKED DIED, MY WEB PAGE,TWITTER, FACEBOOK AND I HAVE MANY FRIENDS, THIS IS ENOUGH, I LUV THIS GAME, IF IT WON’T ALLOW ME TO PAY IT, THEN THIS IS MY ONLY ALTERNATIVE, PADS THIS ALONG TO TINY CO PLEASE AND THANK YOU

This happened to me after the second week update. TinyCo finally got back to me, and credited me with 5,000 out of the nearly 20K cookies I had lost. While I appreciated the gesture, I was not happy about the thousands of cookies I lost due to some game glitch and having to start saving up again. Incredibly frustrating to say the least.

My thoughts on the mafia table are the same as those of many decorative items—meh. They don’t earn anything and they take up space. I am not complaining about the prizes; especially the Consuela give away! I have already unlocked all of the individual prizes. I’m curious to see what the grand prize will be when all of the weekly challenges are completed will be. (Hopefully not as lame as the prizes for each individual weekly challenge 😛 )

First I would like to thank both you and Bunny for all of the hard work the two of you do in getting us the information we need to succeed in both events and the quests for the regular game.
Now I would like to know if either if either you or Bunny have completed “Become the Best part 6” ’55 evil dancers attack Fort Nox’
I am getting closer with each Fort Nox demolition to completing part 6 of this quest line and I am curious as to what the reward is for it.
I am currently losing ground fast and I am sitting at around 990 rankings, which really doesn’t bother me so much since I actually think the Bronze Griffin house looks better then the silver version, but I will get 3k rep when I finish “The Best Around” part 2 in about 9 hrs, so I really want to know if spending my time creating dancers to complete “Become the Best part 6” is worth the reward, or if I should spend my time trying to beat the Don Corleone.

Yup I hear ya. I think I have a love/hate relationship with this event.
Love the theme and the complexity of it but hate how time consuming and super grinding it is! Not too mention all of the technical issues! This just might be the first event I will not complete the main questline for, unless they decide to extend it for a week. Fingers crossed here.

Hey, I’m also working on that 55 Dancers side quest… if you find out the reward before me, would you please post it here as a reply? I will do the same, but I’m only 12/55 done so you will likely beat me. Thanks

I believe the mafia table prize is based off that episode where Joe Pesci was asking some of the guys around the table what kind of funny they’re talking about. Is that the one?

Oh no you missed it entirely – this is a great animation – it’s a scene directly from goodfellas – you have to watch – it’s the whole do you think I’m funny scene – where joe Pesci asks if I’m funny like a clown…shortly before he takes a baseball bat to one of them at the table. Just do a quick search and add the link to this thread. I can play it over and over – the animation in game too. Now if it were voiced then that would be over the top. But meh??? This is the best nonproductive animation IMHO for this event – better than octopus, Asian, etc.

Agree with you. Totally love this animated deco. Happens to be one of the ones I wanted most out of the individual prizes. Also love that it isnt too big so doesn’t take up much space.
