The Basics Of Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff/ Moving Characters

Hey there my new little friends. Bunny here with helping hands…errr..paws? Lol. Well here I am, trying to help out in the same regard I always have loved to. I will be taking you on a lil journey with me to give you a few pointers and things you may want to know when you first start out your game.

In this edition we will be covering the basics of moving around a character in your game (and giggling at the “dragging” animation.)

So let’s get started on this fun lil task. First off, you need to try and get the character when they are NOT moving. This can be tricky, but it seems easier to “catch” them when they are stopped. Lol. Just tap and do not let go until you see them squirming all around and you can drag them around the screen. I will use the first three characters to the game as examples. Peter, Chris, and Bonnie.

Now here is the cool part. You will notice when you are doing this that one or more areas will have an arrow pop up around them.

This is a really cool shortcut to a task you may not have noticed. Just drag your character over to that arrow and you will see the item, building, or other character “light up”. Drop them onto the lit up item. (In this case, Peter.)

The task associated with that item, building, or character will now pop up on the screen for you to select. (In this case, their Fat Leapfrog dual task.)

Here is Chris and the bush where he finds a new friend for his task (and some Oregano).

And here is Bonnie and her Bake sale table that opens her task for it. (Heheheh she looks like she is hanging on to the roof about to drop.)

Pretty cool alternate ways of interacting with your characters and their tasks. I just giggle so much at them squirming and wiggling as I drag them around the place. So funny. Lol.

Of course you can always just drop them anywhere in the game. If it is a closed of or not yet unlocked section, it will just kick them back to the next closest available spot.
