A bit of good news for those of you clamming to get back in the multiverse and visit your neighbors…..we’ve got confirmation from our friends at TinyCo that social is back!
Stuff currently fixed:
– Crashing on third collection
– “Visit friends” quest not working
– Bruce. Oh, Bruce.
No longer do you have to blame Bruce for preventing you from visiting your neighbors! All has been restored and works better than ever! So what are you waiting for? Get going though the multiverse and find some clams!

I haven’t been able to load neighbors for two days now. Error message every time, and tried on two different devices

There’s still an ongoing glitch with it. It’s hitting some people but not others, they are working on it. Hopefully it’s restored soon.

Well, I tried to collect from neighbors today. I was able to visit the AI-nieghbor and that’s all. Every time I jump to next villages I crash… 😦

Yepp, better. Although still not good. ^^ Four crashes until I could do my final tap.
Btw. is it similar to TSTO and I can move to the next village as soon as I tapped a character, or do I have to collect the coins?

Hi!
I had family guy app connected to my facebook account. I had to restore my ipad as “new” and when I tried to reconnect it , it shows me log-in Error ” This facebook account is already being used. Please sing in with a different Facebook account” .

Since the update I have had 1 clam visiting neighbours and that is through visiting 20 a day similar odds to simpsons visiting friends donut odds I would say

2 question, 1 statement. 1, is there a limit on how many neighbors you can visit a say? cuz after like ten neighbors, I dont see the exclamation points anymore and seen if i were to click on the other neighbors, there are no check marks. 2) there really should be parking lots and more deocs for this game like im Simpsons tapped out, so i can make MY town as opposed to a pre fabricated town and 3) I kow the golden pool and everything is ony for apple user but will it be made for android player too at any point?

1) 20 neighbors per day. 2) completely agree! Hopefully next update will contain some of those goodies! 3) Not sure at this point. Hopefully…but can’t say for sure. 🙂

Not sure who to contact, as I have tried the tinyco help but have not received an answer yet (sending both in game, and via email…each method twice, after 1 week apart) ! So thought you lovely people might be able to help….
I was struck with the beloved Bruce glitch when it first came out, and in an attempt to remove it, re-installed my game (IOS) and started afresh (i was only level 5 at the time). However, now since the social aspect has been put back in, when I try to log into my Facebook (the only one i have), it says… ” This facebook account is already being used. Please sign in with a different Facebook account”
I only have one account, and want to use it with my game – surely there must be a way to un-sync my account, and let me re-add it on to my new game? I may only be Level 11, but have been unable to gain any of the perks of the social side, and missed out on a lot! And I certainly dont want to create a second facebook account just for the game…
Any help would be great… my facebook is linked on my “website”, and email on the post link here.

How are you trying to login to Facebook? Through the neighbors screen or via the account info in the menu?

Through the facebook link through the neighbors. I don’t want to now log in through the account info, as it will put me back to when the game bugged out for me I would assume – especially now that I am level 12…. would be horrible to have to go back to how I was previously, due to the game screwing up for me.

I think that’s why it’s telling you there’s already an account associated with it. Are you at level 12 with the game that restarted? Or level 12 with your saved game? If it’s your saved game try doing the menu, account, login with facebook. The glitch should be repaired and it will restore your town.

Unfortunately, I am level 12 (13now) with my new town, and back on 5 with my old. Just logged on via Facebook, and my old town does indeed work now … So now I have 2 active towns . I want to keep my lvl 13 town, and use my already linked Facebook . Considering the problem and cause were not my fault, would be great if it could get sorted. Any chance?

I have spoken with TinyCo in regards to your situation. Unfortunately, at this time there is no way to UNLINK a Facebook account from an existing game. Sorry. I understand the not wanting to lose all that game play.
He did tell me however that this is definitely something they are looking into down the road as they are getting a LOT of feedback on it. I suggest you dropping a message to them on issues like this. They are great to work with and respond to you. They are keen to make changes to help player experience, just let them know. 😉

Hi there; I’m also having this problem. I am currently on level 15 with my daily account on my ipad mini. When I select to login via facebook it tells me there is already a level 3 account associated with the account. I’ve gone to facebook, completely deleted the game and tried again still same response about this level 3 account….:(

Did you have two separate log ins too? An email on the iPad and a FB one? If so, contact TinyCo. They are the ONLY ones with access to players accounts and to look into what they can do to help. Let us know how it goes.

I haven’t gained a single clam since the update, starting to think they’re messing with me! I have tons upon tons of neighbours, so I’m hitting the 20 max every day. So frustrating!

I posted before about this and I haven’t seen a single clam since the update either, I haven’t spent any yet and thought that maybe if you have 32 that you can’t get any more for free unless you spend what you have.

We’re digging a little further into it to see if the glitch was on the initial end (where you got one everyday) or with the update (not getting them daily). Hopefully we’ll have an answer soon 🙂

I just started getting a new problem when I click the Karatie logo for Lois Rambo costume, I click it and get this strange screen pop up with a maid saying,
“Config Empty for ID Awfulpersonhattery in buildings”
and when you click OK the game reloads and all clicked houses are unclicked.
Is this a new glitch because it happens all the time and only for Lois Rambo.

That is really weird. You get the best glitchs! Let me send this in and see if we can find anything for you.

I took a pic of the glitch but there is no way to post it here, even though clicking the Karatie headband on Lois Rambo makes the game glitch, you can still collect them by doing quests.
And clicking headbands on other players still works too.

Since the fix to the friends page my friends have all been gone. How do I get my friends back in my list?

Make sure you’re still logged into your game with your Facebook. This has happened a few times to other people, they get logged out at various points. If you’re still logged in, best bet is to send a message to TinyCo.

I was able to visit my neighbours yesterday, but today all my neighbours have vanished. I had 24 friends and now I only have Ollie land showing. Can anyone explain this???

Make sure you’re still logged into your game. This has happened a few times to other people, they get logged out at various points. If you’re still logged in, best bet is to send a message to TinyCo. I’ll check to see if anyone else is having this issue to see if it’s a known glitch or an isolated incident.

So, this 20 friend a day thing is new to me, I didn’t realize that. So there doesn’t seem to be much point in having more than 20 friends for the moment.
My issue is that, I have a friend who is able to see my town and visit my town, but I don’t see his name in my friend list. Why is that? If I delete some of my friends, will he show up then?

If there are still glitches with the social aspect, they are asking to notify them. So if you are still running into issues…please use the contact support link within the menu of the game. If you are unable to, then please email them your login ID and issue to help@tinyco.com. They are great at responding (keep in mind though, it is a holiday).

Hi how do I add neighbors? I created a Facebook to add neighbors but do I have to add them to Facebook first? Thanks for your help

Yes, I believe you have to add them as a Facebook friend first and then link your game to your Facebook account.

Is it my imagination, or since the update, do the timers not count down when the game isn’t in foreground? I gave everyone hour tasks, they had all started there tasks, set my timer for an hour, went back to the game and left it. When the timer went off, everyone still had 55 minutes left. I think 5 minutes is the timeout on my screen lock.
Also, the first item I touched when visiting would always be a clam, the last two times have not.

This is something that’s been going off and on since the game launched. TinyCo is aware of this. They’re working on resolving this issue now that Bruce has been resolved. Here’s they’re exact suggestion what to do if this is happening to you:
“This can happen if a game crashes or otherwise doesn’t save correctly. We recommend making sure you close the app by minimizizing while viewing your own Quahog (not neighbors). Also, if the game crashes, it’s possible that it did not save correctly. We suggest logging back in and checking progress, and then minimizing it as normal.”

I was having this problem quite a bit, especially when I’d jump between the iPad and the phone (Android) or when I’d rotate between my primary town and secondary town.
In addition to Alissa’s tip, I would also add that on iOS, the game syncs when you hit the home button. For that reason, after I set tasks and collect buildings, I make it a habit to hit the home button to exit, wait a couple of seconds, load the game again, then hit the home button a second time to make sure it has saved. It’s slightly annoying, but I haven’t had the problem since I’ve started doing it.

I still have problems with adding friends. It says i have no people to add but have sent no requests. Initially i selected all but cancelled the send request, just to complete the quest lol

I went to my neighbours towns first 20 fantastic! Then I couldn’t collect from rest of towns as they all said 12hrs 25 mins left which I thought was odd but left it checked it again 2 hours later and those said towns still said 12hrs 25mins : anyone else having issues?

As of right now you can only visit 20 friends per day.

Since the update I haven’t gotten any clams, then again I only have the demo town to visit, but not a single clam.
Of course using clams for money would make more sense if this was a Flintstones Game!

Should see one every few days in Ollie land. I think it’s every x amount of neighbor taps, so if you only have Ollie it takes a little while. 🙂
