Hello there Clammers!
We last left off our walkthrough we had unlocked Seamus and Meg (with little effort) and Peter was just suggesting we head over to the Civic Center (District 6)…because you just never know where a toothbrush might turn up! So now we pick this back up with the complete quests that will pop up while in the Civic Center!
The Civic Center is where you’ll unlock Brian, Dr. Hartman & deal with a whole lotta bull!
Once again this District walkthrough is structured by questline (Note: Questline is considered the entire task list that is required under a certain title. For example A Whole Lotta Bull Pt. 1, Pt. 2 etc). This should help you keep track of what comes next in each questline & what you’ll need to do. Keep in mind, with this game various quests/tasks can be running at once. You can be in the middle of 1 questline and another questline will start, however the order in which the questlines appear may be different for each game.
Unlocking characters in the Civic Center takes a lot of patience, as the list of “Stuff” required to unlock is longer, and the quantities of each are greater. Take your time, try not to get frustrated when the items don’t appear. Try a different task to unlock the item, or try working on a different item.
So let’s pick our walkthrough back up with Peter, a bunch of bull & the quest for NEW stuff!
Just a reminder
To unlock characters: once you’ve collected all of the “Stuff”, you’ll need to go through their items again and tap the ones with check marks. Once you’ve gone through each one the lock over the character’s head will turn gold and show unlock. At this point tap the character again to fully unlock the character.
As you get further into the game it becomes harder to earn the items needed to unlock the characters. Be sure to check out the Materials page to see the odds of the items and who can help you unlock them.

I have unlocked Brian but can’t clear the bulls. It says in the required box “bacon ipsum” and when i click clear nothing happens. Is that a glitch in the game? Ugh

I got Brian long before I realized I needed Meg for whole lotta bull part 4,placed the fences completed part 4 but part 5 does not appear, is this a glitch or do I need to do something to get part 5?

Try to see if you just have too many tasks open in your menu. Clear a few and see if the new dialog pops up.

I think It may have been something like that, I just started clearing tasks and it finally popped up, don’t rember which one was the last one before I got it, funny thing is I already had the task completed as soon as it popped up I just had to click it off 🙂

The Civic Center has disappeared from my game. It is not in my inventory or anywhere to be found. I still have Brian and Dr. Hartman in the game. Any suggestions?

Buildings disappearing has been happening more and more lately. Send an in game message to TinyCo they’ll have to go in and restore it for you, unfortunately.

Not sure if it’s ok to still comment in this section (3 months later)? First I *love* these walkthroughs as they really help me keep the right characters free for needed tasks and also answer questions I have as I go (since I just started playing a few weeks ago). My comment/request would be that I don’t see any mention above of the questline tasks to rebuild the police station or rebuild the fire station. I think I may be doing some stuff out of order, as I unlocked Cop Joe before I was able to enter Civic Center district. Those items kept mentioning they could be obtained from Police Station, but I couldn’t figure out how to *get* the police station, so as a newer player it would have been great to see that it requires this district. Thanks so much for all you do!!

I have unlocked Brian and the game will not let me clear the bulls. It says that I still need to get stuff for Brian. Does he need to be level 2 or is it glitching??

Please help! I’ve been stuck on task 4 for Brian for days now. The task says he needs a pick me up but when I look at his tasks there is no task for this. I’ve tried every task he has but have got no where. This is the only task I have available now as I’ve completed every other task and quest (including the clowns) and I’m getting very frustrated. Am I missing something or is this yet another glitch???? It took TinyCo almost 3 weeks to resolve 4 other issues and I don’t relish having to contact them to get this one fixed. Brian is on level 4 if that helps. Arrrgggghhhhh! So frustrated!

Thanks. After looking at the walkthrough I realised it was the 6hr task and I finally completed it. My only issue is that I had tried that task, along with all the others, at least twice before and it didn’t work. I guess it was a glitch, but it is now working so I’m happy. Btw, keep up the great work with this forum. It has helped me a lot!!!! I had purchased a lot of clams and currency (because I’m impatient and am lucky enough to be in a position to) that didn’t register and TinyCo hadn’t responded to my 15 messages and e mails. After posting my issues on this forum Bunny got involved and I woke up the next day to find my clams and currency had been credited, along with a decent amount of free clams as an apology. I’m pretty sure either my post or Bunny’s involvement got the issue resolved as I had been getting nowhere for over 2 weeks. I love this game, loved the circus event and can’t wait for the last 5 characters to be released. Do you know when this is likely? I only have 1 task (create S&M Lois) & create Mermaid Peter left to do. On that note, I only had 1 epic shell to get to earn the Mermaid costume &, after 3 weeks, won it from a building. Just as I was about to create the costume I was kicked out of the game, lost all the currency I had collected from buildings and tasks (which I can live with). However, the shell was also missing which really annoyed me after taking so long to finally get that last one. Is this a known glitch? I have messaged TinyCo through in game support, but knowing how long it took them last time I’m worried I won’t get a response for a while. How long do they normally take to respond to an issue? Sorry for asking loads of questions, but this seems to be the best place to go to for answers. All games like this have glitches but as long as TinyCo deal with them fairly, I will be happy. So far, despite my earlier issues, I think they have done an excellent job with the graphics, quest lines etc. I just wish they would make it easier to see the tasks. You can zoom in, but not as much as you can zoom in on TSTO. It makes reading things very difficult but not being able to really zoom in on characters is the only thing that really lets the game down.

As far as new characters/districts. I suspect they’re coming soon. Don’t forget the game isn’t even a month old yet.
As far as the shell goes…first that really stinks. I hate when those little glitch things happen. As far as I know It’s not a known glitch, at least that we’ve seen here. As far as their response time, it depends on the issue. They may have to look into it further. If you don’t hear back within 3 days I definitely would message them again.

Don’t know if this is already explained here… to unlock Brian you’ll have to e.g. get bones by “Clearing Bull”, but this task requires Brian, who needs bones to be freed using Brian to clear bulls…!? Did someone solved this chicken egg dilemma?
BTW of course you can get bones via other tasks (I’m having Lois practice Tai-Jitsu in a endless loop), but why are they offering the “Clearing Bull” option!?

Hmm you know I never thought about that. Very much a Chicken and Egg dilemma there. Especially since they don’t save for a future task. Perhaps initially there was another character/task that required it…

Yeah, I was scratching my head with that, too. I am trying to get stuff for Brian which requires bones and one of the ways to get bones is from getting it from the bull when you clear them, but to clear the bulls require Brian. They definitely need to do something about that. There is no logic to that. I already wrote to them about it but have not heard back. If you can reiterate it with them as well, maybe they will go back and edit that part because it doesn’t make sense and not possible.

In a week or so I’m done with Civic centre. Will there be another way to get the impossible last headband for Lois? All she get’s in Civic is Brian’s bones.

Just keep trying. I know the rare items take some work. But a game is supposed to be challenging the higher levels you get, right? Lol 😉

Of course, I love the challenge. But I think i’ve been waiting two weeks now, and the Civic level made it even harder to get the freakin’ headband. 🙂
