Hey There Clammers!
With the introduction of Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff there’s a whole cast of characters to unlock in your rebuild effort of Quahog! These overview posts are designed to give you a quick breakdown of the characters, how you unlock them & their tasks so you can play FGG more efficiently!
Of course there will be those players who don’t want to know the details of unlocking the characters so for that reason we’ll post all of the details below the fold. So if you don’t like to know what’s going on before you play don’t click read more…CAUTION SPOILERS AHEAD
The next character we’ll tackle on our character overview is Joe Swanson. Joe is one of the characters you’ll unlock in the School District, and the 9th or 10th character you’ll unlock in TQFS (Depending on if you unlock him or Herbert first). So let’s break down Joe and his tasks…..

How do I get the burgers to unlock cop joe I have never had any chance to get any

Make sure that the building mcburgertown doesn’t have any facades (skin) on it. Like Christmas or other in order for it to drop them.

I’ve been trying to get cop Joe for a while now. I have all of the hamburgers, about half of the subpoenas, half of the handcuffs, all I really have left is the baton/nightsticks, whatever you want to call them. Can someone please tell me where they are? I now have the Valentines Day skin loaded with Peter, Lois, Joe, Bonnie, Quagmire, Mr. Herbert, Chris, and I almost have Brian’s old girlfriend that was a dumbass, whose name escapes me (lol.)
Any help locating those batons/nightsticks would be greatly appreciated!

There are 2 ways to get nightsticks….
Joe Raid Personal Weapons Stash (6hrs)
Police Station (6hrs)

Thanks, Alissa. That helped a lot telling me about the “raid personal weapons stash,” but that brings me to another issue… Where/how do I get the Police Department? I haven’t seen it yet in either my inventory or the buildings section. I’m only up to the School District area – do I need to be further into the game?

How do I get burgers to unlock cop Joe? I have everything but the burgers and Mcburger town never gives me any

So i am a bit confused right now about the police station. when do i get it? right now it is not in my game anywhere (it’s not even greyed out in my shopping cart). i have been working on cop joe for a week or so now and the night stick is dropped from it and meg has a job there that drops to help unlock dr. hartman but i still don’t have it available to me to do these tasks.
so when do i get the police station? i have not unlocked the civic center yet cause i want to focus on the event and not that area. do i have to unlock the civic center first to get the police station? clearly i’m confused and need some soothing words from my addiction sponsor 🙂

Police station is the ruble in District 6. It’s the one you repair. It’ll hit when you unlock the civic center 🙂

figures, of all the things i have done lately i have avoided this one task.
oh well guess i gonna have to do it soon as i have a worker free. tell you what i think about this 1+ day just to clear a patch of land…

hey guys so i was playing and am trying to do a action with joe(“do target pratice”..hes on level 8and have done it plenty of times before) and out of the blue i no longer have the police department and its not in my inventory not sure what the problem is but actually got it before i got brian and the library btw im on level 23
i need help

Try these troubleshooting tips:
Try a hard close, then shut your device off completely to clear the memory cache. Then fire everything back up. If this doesn’t work, the next step is an uninstall/reinstall (make sure your game has an email account set up, or Facebook/Google linked account). If this does nothing, send an in-game message to TinyCo (main menu/help & support/contact us). This will open a “ticket” and dialog between you and the tech rep. Give them as much information as possible.i.e device used, description of problem, when it started..etc. Good luck. Let us know the status. 😉

Is there a glitch with Joe that I do not know about? I am trying to get him to clear the “wild brats” and complete the lost boys section of the game. However, when I tap on him to do the task, the game won’t give me an indication that he is. Joe just rolls up and down the block. I can see that at some point he cleared 3/6 boys, but when I tap to get him to clear the rest of the kids, he won’t do it. Any help would be appreciated.

Very odd. If basic troubleshooting is not helping, I would say contact TinyCo through your menu to have them look into it.

Joe is blacked out and continuously marked as busy trying to clear lost boys (3 cleared) for about the last 5 days. Is this normal? Thanks.

No. Best suggestion, contact TinyCo via the in have option abd let then know so they can take a look at your game and see what’s going on.

Last night (about 10:30pm) I started the 16 hours to create Cop Joe, I just logged in (8:40am) and he still needs 13 hours to complete!!?? This is soooo wrong, any news on whether they are gonna fix these timing issues? Thanks, really enjoying the game btw and the blog, great work to all involved 🙂

Yes…they located the bug causing it. The repair…coming soon. It needs to Update the game in order to go into effect. Hang in there. Lots of fixes solved and on their way. 😉

What I love about this game are the voice actors. The voice of Joe Swanson, Patrick Warburton, who was in Seinfeld as Elaine’s boyfriend and The Rules of Engagement is a funny comedian. Every time I hear his voice in the game reminds me of the parts he played in those shows. Love his dual tasks with Quagmire, Bonnie and Rambo Lois.

I have a quest for stuff account ive been working on for a few weeks everyday. Im lvl 19 today and the last character I unlocked was meg. Im thinking id like to sell it cause I dont have the time anymore. Can that be done?

Sell your game? It’s linked to your account, it cannot be transferred.
