Final Thought:
Personally, I do like the look of each of the items but just not sure where I would put them. I guess you could design and outdoor area with them and the disco stuff (if you win them). For me, I had enough Moon Idols collected that it was more cost effective for me to just buy 80’s Cleveland outright then to spend more Clams to buy these 3 items. I also am a bit hesitant to spend Clams on something so very very small that is ONLY used for unlocking his skin and no idea if will be used in future. The $$ & XP payout is small for a Clam item. I would say that these are more for a completionist. Just keep in mind, more things will be released during the event so you may want to hold off before making that final decision. With it being part of a Limited Time Event, just make sure you make up your mind as one the event is over it is most likely it will be gone.
In the end it’s your call. What you buy and what you don’t buy is your own personal choice we can only guide you on the facts and let you know what we did and what we think. But don’t purchase it until YOU are sure. ALL SALES ARE FINAL!
A quick lil sidenote: With the Update on 6-20-14, you can now get these 3 items and get 100 of your Clams right back. Freakin’ Sweet!!

I’ve got all the outfits from the main game, I’m only 5 jackets and 5 sheen away from 80’s Cleveland and so I’m hopeful I’ll get them in the next few days but in the outfits list, Peters pee pants the inebriated hobo is still there from the circus event, will they bring that event back considering he’s still in the outfits list?

I’d wait till the last day, just in case. We don’t know what will happen just yet, but my guess is they’ll just disappear. Although it’s always possible TC could add a converter of some sort (idols to cash), we have no history to go on so it’s just guesses at this point.

I spent 150 clams on one of the buildings to speed up Safari Peter and I regretted it immediately. I’m three sheens away from Cleveland Jackson and can wait. Spending $10ish bucks to $4 back is dumb.

No way will I waste clams on this stuff. I already unlocked the Cleveland costume without clams and am averaging bout 7000 butts a day BUT and it’s a big but, I refused to download the last update from Friday. I had a felling if I did the drop rate would severely decrease and so would the mummy re-spawn rate. My husband has his set to automatically update. I tried to get him to switch it before he got the update but was too late. 😞
It sux I have to skip out on updates and not trust this company enuf to do an update without being suspicious but apparently my paranoia paid off!

No, I definitely won’t get them. Way too expensive just to unlock a friggin costume. I’ve almost unlocked 80s Cleveland by now except for 4 missing jackets which don’t seem to want to drop. Well, if it happens to not work out before the limited event is over, it doesn’t. This game of luck stuff is definitely no way to entice spending real money. I want to work diligently and be rewarded for the effort. This experience will most likely make me not bother anymore about limited events in the future…

You know, I have already have EVERYTHING – from costumes to buildings, characters & special prizes (including famous gorilla (which you can get for collecting moon idols)) and so on; oh, and of course I’ll get King of Butts. Eventually, now I can’t even imagine what to do next? I hope that TinyCo will manage to open Stewie and other characters after the “butts event” immediately

I ended up getting them because I wanted Peter back to be able to Surf the Bird, and Bonnie, Bruce, and Jerome for their one hour tasks to maximize idol production again. Haha! If it wasn’t for getting 100 clams back, I wouldn’t have gotten them. Still sorta disgruntled by how they don’t really fit in with the rest of Quahog. 😛 Hoping they’ll go well with the 80s dance floor.

They announced the “buildings?” literally HOURS after I used clams to hurry up & get Pop’n’Lock Cleveland, or whatever he’s called. It was significantly cheaper than buying these… interiors. I was worried there wasn’t enough time to get the skin & do the quests before the next update, which seem to be scheduled every 10 hours now! Wtf? I figured when they do (a real, affecting gameplay) update, I’ll need Cleveland for tasks. Also, although I’m a bit of a completionist, I used all my clams. After the Gardens and carts fiasco, after the sarcophagus fiasco… I’m absolutely never handing my money over to this company again. I’m sorry. But I feel used. I need a shower. I know, I was asking for it; trusting TinyCo, gambling, worrying about time limits. It’s probably my fault for playing every day, loving Family Guy (even when it’s clear FG doesn’t love me back), and wanting to contribute to payroll. My family tells me I’m a fool. I should leave and never look back. Even when King Butt begs me to stay. I have to admit, I’m starting to think my loved ones are right. This has all gotten out of control. It’s just use & abuse me and then make some small, useless gesture to ask for forgiveness. No more! Stop the insanity! 🙂
Anyway, I also had an idea: how about the decorations unlock an action in a character? Kinda like how the flower bed, bake sale & ring of fire can be used. Otherwise, they’re kind of pointless & take up precious real estate.

I think during this event, they lost a lot of everyday users. Maybe to the point that like yourself, turn around and run and never come back. My friend and I talk about how this event is so not any part of the show, but trying to make a money maker. Tinyco you watch this site, they say. Maybe if you treat people like people, not only a money making machine. It will last. If not, it will go in the category of so many game. The ones that were made well, but lost it all by greed. Yall give coins away, Geesh. What can you buy with coins anymore? You have four characters and buildings in a locked position. what kind of family guy game doesn’t have Stewie by now? My opinion is like lulu’s, this game is getting old fast. Great thing I kept up with my Springfield 😉

If you into your game, top left, click on the clam count, it will take you to the ckam screen and the cost breakdowns. Same for coins. $4.99 USD gets me a box of 130 Clams. 😉

Not worth it.In 3 days I have 18/20 Dancing Shoes, 7/15 Sheens and 10/15 Pleathers. Event still is more than 10 days so pretty sure I will get it all on time. They drop pretty quickly and quests only 4 hrs (and 1 hrs for the shoes)

No, moon idols are a requirement for part of Cleveland. So once you have enough of them the cost of clams to buy him outright drops.

Oh ok sorry. I misunderstood. I have enough idols and my drop rate is not bad for the sheens or pleathers so I might wait to buy him out right. It just sucks that I won’t be able to collect enough idols to get the King before the end of the event.
