Hello There Clammers!
Just popping in with a quick tip for you all. DON’T SPEND CLAMS ON THE WATER PARK! You can earn it for free via the Mystery box.
Here’s the deal:
After you complete the first part of the 4th of July questline (Where you build deep fried everything) Peter will prompt another quest. It’ll look like this:
Basically…purchase the mystery boxes for $2,000 and if you win 1 of each of the types of Fireworks you’ll unlock the water park for FREE! Again that’s 1 each of the:
Pocket Firework, Pixie Firework, Sunburst Firework & Colassal Firework…and then you have to place them.
Once place you’ll unlock the Water Park for free..HOWEVER it won’t appear in your inventory. You have to go to the shopping cart and you’ll see an option for a free one. Make sure you click on the one that says FREE otherwise you’ll be charged 120 clams for something that’s otherwise free for you!
Pretty sweet little gift just for playing the mystery box huh?

I spent everything i had on the fireworks. 4 pocket, 6 pixie, 8 sunburst, 1 white patriotic flower and 5,000 in free coins. I played the whole time and never got the last firework, so no water park for me. Not a fan of this game. Its like the 80’s cleveland, i had him down to one item and it just stopped giving it. I missed out on the water park and cleveland, not happy!

Is anyone else trying to buy the patriot prize box and having a pop up of consuela saying there’s already a prize box waiting, and I click okay and it restarts the game. But when I check my inventory there is nothing there at all no extra cash no extra clams. So I’m confused as to what to do now. Also I was almost don’t getting things for Connie and when the game reset the first time it took away all the items I had just earned and had me re click on half the people and didn’t get those items again and some of the people I got the items from didn’t pop back up again. I just want to know if I am the only one with this issue because it is begining to get very annoying.

Hard close your game then start it up again to see if it will clear the prize box.

Glad to read that some people are getting all the fireworks from the mystery box. I’ve opened 32 mystery boxes:
7 Pocket Fireworks
17 Pixie Fireworks
2 Sunburst Fireworks
6 White Patriotic Flowers
1 5000 Coins
Still no Colassal Fireworks

Unlucky. It was in my second box. I have opened 11 boxes got 4 of them. I guess have have been lucky (got all fireworks straight away).

I have about 6 colossals and even more of the sunburst and pocket, but still no pixie. I’m glad to hear that everyone else seems to have it, though, because it gives me hope!

So far I have got 4 Sunburst fireworks. I feel like I have wasted my money. I’m thinking to wait for another update for this to be rectified. I’m not amused

I’ve bought about 15 mystery boxes, still waiting for a Colassal Firework. Have got plenty of multiples of other fireworks, a couple of flowers and 7500 coins.

Any idea when they’re gonna allow characters to level up past 15 besides Peter? Almost all my characters are maxed out and have been for some time now. My peter is lvl 17 and would like to continue to level up some of my other characters

I only see this happening later down the road when TinyCo wants to “lock” a new task until you go up a level or two. I get the feeling they really didn’t think the leveling-up system through, since the “main” leveling means nothing (no coin or clam incentive/reward) and stops at 40….and most character tasks unlock at the lower levels.

I’ve sent four through Contact Us in game, and one on the website. Nothing. Zip. Zilch. Which coincidentally is the exact same amount of cash that Tiny Co will get from me from here on out unless I get a refund on the Water Park.

Got my refund today. 48 hours + later. They let me keep the second park so its in the inventory until it can be sold.

Hi there fellow addicts…. I have a ?, is there a limit on leveling up? I got to level 40 last night ( yes, I have no life…been home sick for a while now). Thankfully, I am getting my coins back after spending so much on the flipping fireworks. (That grinds my gears)! I have gotten none, nada, zip……ex points. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about that, or maybe a glitch??? I have been reading all I can on the site here, and either didn’t catch it, or I have a short attention span ( like peter), oh …..look a squirrel…. LoL.anyway… Thank you all for the tips, and help. Here’s hoping everyone has a safe and happy holiday weekend. 😉

crap. I brought some clams to buy the park before i did the quest. I would have got the three emblem/pets instead if I’d know that was coming.

It’s cool but I spent almost all my coins to get everything. I hope we can eventually sell duplicates :).

I’m REALLY disappointed that I spent 120 clams on the water park then today it is free in the quest. It’s penalised those who got in early in buying the premium items. Maybe the moral of this story is not to get premium items in these events until the tasks are clearer. 😦

I’m one of the unlucky few that bought it I thought I was getting something that was premium only nothing against anybody that plays for free I just felt like I got screwed out my 120 clams I’ve been saving us premium players like to spend our clams wisely as well n now I’m short 120 I bought everything this event had to offer even the stalls n now I’m finding out I could of got my park for free n got 75 clams back from buying the elephant donkey n bald eagle 😦 not cool at all

I opened 4 boxes and got the fireworks straight away. I won’t place the park straight away and wait and see if there will be any refunds.

No…..it wouldn’t do that because the “free” one is coded differently than the one you chose to buy for 120 clams (that’s why it has it’s own spot in the “shopping cart”). In order to complete the quest line, you will need to place the “free” item into your town.
Sorry, but it looks like you’re stuck with two water parks. 😦

Disappointing. Tiny co dropped the ball here. No one needs two parks and we habe so much coin built up after the last event that everyone will get this. Quite simply shouldn’t have been an option to buy in first place if it is a reward from a quest.

My water park seems to have disappeared. It was there earlier under buildings and the first tab and I could purchase it for clams. I read this forum and collected three of the four fireworks. I went under the tabs to see what else was there and the waterpark is no longer there. Not even for clams…. Anyone know what happened or also have this problem?

This is the first we’ve heard of this. Is your “Deep Fried Everything” built yet? If/when it is done, just continue with the quest line and see if it gets triggered. 🙂

I just finished deep fried everything. I will see what happens when I get the sunburst firework as that is the only one I need. We will see what happens one I place last firework. Maybe it will show up again.

It was not under features or buildings, I did the box again and got the sunburst fireworks, placed it, nothing. Restarted game and then it appeared under buildings, so I got it and have placed it just waiting for it to be built…. Weird, but it worked… Thanks for the tip or I might have spent clams on it. Great site, love coming here and learning so much about family guy quest for stuff.

I played the box about 9 times and got all four fireworks! Placed the free waterpark and now have no interest in the box anymore. Dont need fireworks, flower, or coins, and a 1% chance at clams isnt worth it…

I am so happy to get the waterpark free I will place it next to bob’s fun land when stewie is released.

I have won and placed all fireworks and I do not have an option for a free waterpark. It wants me to spend clams on it. What gives? Do I have to wait for the two buildings to finish building or do I have to build roller blading Peter first?

I’ve got dozens of each firework type. Spent over 100k on the mystery box and got 20 clams as well. Hoping that later tonight the fireworks go off in the town…would be a very nice end of the day animation

Hey, I’ve already won one of each firework and placed them in my town. I got pretty lucky, it didn’t take very many tries to get them all.
I haven’t triggered the quest yet though (not using clams to speed up buildings). When the quest appears, will I instantly complete it or will I have to win the fireworks again? I’m assuming the latter because the quest is just to place them. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone noticed the free park isn’t animated? And is also missing the flags the top of the poles? I really wanted to see the animation and waited to get the free one and now the one that costs clams is gone. I know its not really a big deal but let me know if that is the same for any of you guys.

Try storing the water park in your inventory, hard close the game…shut off your device. Then turn your device back on, load the game and replace the water park into your town. If this doesn’t work, send an in-game message to TinyCo. Let us know if this worked 😉
Ps: I believe TinyCo heard the cries of those that paid 120 clams, only to find it would be given free to everyone (they have begun to refund the 120 clams) and removed it from the shopping cart.
