Hello There Clammers!
An App Store Update has hit our games (and yes Android AND iOS…finally have the update system down!) so be sure to hit up your App Store to download the latest version of The Quest for Stuff.
With this update some new stuff has hit our games. Working through all the details at the moment (so more soon) but basically a few new buildings and MORE LAND!!!
And now for the details….WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD
So here’s the deal with this update….District 8 is now in the game BUT it’s not unlocked yet.
Nothing you can do/say/think/breath/pray/wish/sell/deal with devil will make it unlock right now. Consider it a sneak peak of what’s to come…
Do you see Stewie? Yes, he’s coming and SOON (finally) but not just yet. Patience is needed in this one guys. I have a feeling we may see him Friday when 4th of July leaves our games…FYI District 9 (Mayor West and Tom will be in there) is also in the game…and also locked. Which may mean it will be coming sooner rather than later!
So now onto what is new and can be purchased/unlocked in the game. First up, MORE LAND! TinyCo has added two new strips of land to our games! One strip to the top by the forest:
Priced and build time from water back as the following: $50,000/1 day; $45,000/1 day; $40,000/1day; $35,000/1 day; $30,000/1day; $25,000/1 day.
And another strip in the back by the locked districts:
Price and build time from left to right is the following: $10,000/12hrs; $10,000/12hrs; $10,000/12hrs; $10,000/12hrs.
Two new premium buildings:
Glam Bam Thank You Ma’am- 150 Clams. Instant Build. 5×4 in size. Drops Makeup. $40, 25xp/6hrs
Hi-Yah Dojo– 150 Clams. Instant Build. 6×6 in size. Drops headbands & earns $40, 25xp/6hrs

I am so angry! Since the update i have not been able to get into the game! I am literally ONE cutoff away from rollerskate peter and i dont think i am going to get it! I dont have an account so i cant uninstall without losing progress and i emailed tinyco but alas, no response…

What device do you play on? It might be a memory issue. Make sure no other apps are running in the background. Hard close the game, turn off your device, then start the device and game again. Other than the email, you can go to their web help site http://www.tinyco.com/support/ use the “contact us” option in the upper right corner to open a ticket.

I must say that little popup about Stewie coming soon and if we didn’t know him then let’s compare him to Bart Simpson fuss was a little offensive. If we don’t know who Stewie is then we wouldn’t be obsessed with everything Family Guy!

Some players are new to the whole Family Guy experience and never watched the show. TinyCo has to cater their humorous sayings to ALL players, not just those in the know. 😉

Did anyone get a mission triggered by peter to unlock conseuela? It said like instant unlock or something? I don’t have a screen shot but, does it sound familiar to anyone?

Not sure what you saw (she sometimes pops up on crash banners when the game acts up), since Consuela is a premium character sold for clams, she would not be a needed component of a Peter quest. She is worth buying when you get some extra clams saved up, however, IMO. 😉

Thx for the reply, it wasn’t the error message. Peter actually had dialog about conseuela cleaning. Then a messete box popped up to purchase her.

I think I’ve had it with this game. I never even achieve anything. I’ve been trying to get headbands for 2 months. Instead of being fun it’s become disappointing. Every 2 hrs a let down. But when they start something new you get those items easily. I just feel like I never get anything achieved in prior tasks. I think I might have to delete & forget. It’s not like the simpsons tapped out!

Hang in there. We have all been in the same boat. Put Lois on a short “alternate” task to break up the repetition, then have her practice Tai-jitsu again. Maybe take a little break from the game to cool off and re-energize. Remember, it’s only a game. 😉

I’m very excited about Stewie… i won’t be wasting any clams on those buildings, but I’ve already started clearing the new land, gonna build an office farm
