  2. Thanks bunny – but here’s the problem. when i play on my kindle – payments go automatically to amazon.
    Tinyco uses google play.
But amazon and google play don’t connect.
Any in app payment on kindle – goes thru Amazon. No other choice.
I made a payment for clams – went to amazon.
Researched on the kindle logs and others are having the same issues. Only way around it is to hack the kindle something i’m not interested in.
I’m going to contact tinyco and see if they allow payments off game, but applying to the game.
thanks. You guys do great work on the blogs!

  3. I am too well connected.
I play Family Guy on my kindle.
My kindle is set up for purchases to go thru amazon.
    Including in app purchases.
I had to connect my Family Guy to my Facebook acct – i already had a second acct for gaming only – so i could get friends.

How can i make in app purchases for Family Guy – not thru amazon and thru Tiny co? I don’t think i can change it on my kindle. I can only restrict them.
Can i purchase directly thru tiny co and have sent to my Family Guy id – (32 characters if you hadn’t noticed).
I’ve researched this on the web all morning.

    • I do not have a Kindle but would assume it works the same as any other app. If you go through the game itself, it triggers for your purchase to go to that same game regardless what your sign in is for the market. My iOS sign in for my iTouch is not same as my games. The Apple ID is completely separate, but when I buy stuff for my games it goes right to them. Same for Google Play. The payment area is always separate, but you initiate the transaction through your game. Make Sense?

  4. What they don’t tell you is that the game is not compatible for all Kindle Fire devices. The only way I can access the sale/download page in my app store is via the lock screen. When I try to download the game I get a incompatibility error message. It’s really weird, as normally the lock screen will only advertise apps that the device can actually run. If my Kindle Fire truly can’t run the game, then why advertise it with a link to the download page?

  5. Been addicted to that other town building game based on a Fox cartoon for a few months. So excited to finally have Family Guy on the kindle. Of course there goes all the free time I never had in the first place.

My friend tried to download it on his kindle and it wouldn’t work. It told him to “sync content to your Kindle cloud” and it wouldn’t work.

  9. So I just commandeered my husband’s galaxy tablet tonight, 7/10, to finally play this game. Then I go looking for friends and find it’s now available on my much preferred (to me) kindle. This very day. I’m not complaining, but seriously? Figures. Thanks very much for the info. Still trying to figure out if there is an official forum like there is for simpsons tapped out.

    • TinyCo doesn’t use an official forum, they prefer to dedicate a team of social media coordinators that post and comment on Facebook (in fan groups and there app page) and other social media (including this site) . It’s quicker, more direct and personable. They can get input in real time. EA never comments on Facebook (from what I have seen and heard). 😉

      • Thank you! Glad to know I’m in the right place for info and hopefully the right place to find people to play the game with. I’m disappointed that I can’t find TQFS in the kindle store right now. I already asked for friends, too. I’ll keep going with the galaxy but I really want this to work on my kindle!

        • You can have your galaxy acct on kindle if you register your acct with facebook or by email and then log in to FGTQFS on your kindle (in case you don’t want to start the game all over) 🙂

  10. Too bad kindle owners missed out on the circus and those premium animals. Maybe this means they will bring back those decorations? I missed them too ;( and they are all I need to complete my towns collection!
