Hello There Clammers!
Comic-Con has arrived in Quahog! (well if you’re on iOS at least…) And I know many of you are curious about what’s in store for our Tiny Quahog during this event!
So with that in mind here’s the full quick walkthrough that can be completed for now (my assumption is this will get us through the Android launch on 7/31..). This covers the quests that popup during the first few days of Comic-Con including: Quahog Comic-Con, Blam! Prizes, My Little Furry & Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.
So now…let’s attract some nerds shall we?
As always these are structured by questline (Note:Questline is considered the entire task list that is required under a certain title. For example My Little Furry Pt. 1, Pt. 2 etc). This should help you keep track of what comes next in each questline & what you’ll need to do. Keep in mind, with this game various quests/tasks can be running at once. You can be in the middle of 1 questline and another questline will start, however the order in which the questlines appear may be different for each game.

This completes the early stages of the Comic-Con Event walkthrough! I suspect this will get us to the release on Android & Kindle next week (7/31) and then new tasks/quests will launch.

Hi,it won’t let me do the action for quagmire to chase furry tail for My little furry pt 3,says I need the convention center, but giant latcher stewie is on it,any ideas how I can complete the task?I’ve msg tinyco but no reply.

It’s ok now,I’ve just started the job,they have changed it so he chases furry tail at the furry fun house now instead of the convention centre. My ocd can settle down a bit now lol.

For some reason, when I try to open the convention center it asks for 1000 moon idols, instead of Blam! I updated it yesterday, not sure what the next step would be.

It’s a known glitch. Did you visit a neighbor that hasn’t updated out of the full moon event? That’s what causes it. As soon as you visit a neighbor that’s on comic con it’ll go back. Check out this post for more:

Anyone else struggling to get the pizza?
Also, is there an optimal strategy? Like holding off on completing certain parts of quests until a certain point etc.
I think I’ll still be trying to get Patrick Stewart, even when other celebs have appeared.

So now that the event has loaded for android, i quickly earned enough Blam to start repair on the Clamterprise. But I’m wondering if I should save Blam til i get to 1000 so I can repair the convention center first, or if I should repair the Hotel first when I get to 350. Would appreciate any thoughts from players who have already gone through this.

Clamterprise unlocks Patrick, so if you want to work on him right away, go there first. The rest will help with Blam! and the hotel with Patrick once he is unlocked.

Sorry should have clarified. I already have a worker repairing the clamterprise, so i should have asked should i open the hotel second or the convention center second. But if the hotel drops what Picard needs, then maybe thats the answer

Yep, hotel second, it drops pizza and blam so it’ll help you get the 1000 blam for the convention center faster. Just don’t spend the blam on PS before the convention center. You’ll get another 1000 blam while getting all the other stuff he needs.

Even if you were to play 24/7 you still would never get the full 100,000 blam without paying real money for clams. I love this game, I’ve been hooked on it for months but I find it absolutely rediciolous that you have to pay real money just to get everything. They should at least give you a chance at getting the buildings you need. Example: Pay 250 clams for a building or spend 500,000 coins. At least you can save up for it.

I get what you are saying. But it is only week 1. 6 more to go. So it is hard to make a judgment when not all the content is even live in the game. You DON’T have to just pay money for it all. Just play, see what you can get for free. It is all a matter of what YOU want to put into the game to get out of it. Still more coming. 😉

I have never spent re money in this game yet hesitant because of all of the feedback I really want to get enough blam for stewies octo layer thing do you thing I would need to purchase the tons of blam bar for 700 clams?

I think there will be ways to collect everything with out purchasing premium items…it’ll be difficult though. I would just hold off and see what this weekend brings with the game and go from there. 🙂

I love this game but sometimes I feel like there’s no reward in getting the characters, other than finishing their special mini questline.
For example:
What;s the point of getting Connie or Meg when thet itey become kinda worthless for the rest of the game? I understand the need to make the firsts six characters the base of everything, since those are the easiest ones to get for any new players, but I also think that all characters should be able to get items needed for current goals. Whats the point of buying Consuela when whe doesnt add anything nor it helps to have her.
I think this can be fixed quite easily. Why not make the items needed for a goal or a new character be based on how many characters a player has unlocked? If I have premium characters plus many others, that will drop items, them Im sure people wouldnt complain to have to get 50-60 of such item, instead of 30-40 with the same 4-6 characters we always use.
My point is, we work hard to unlock a character and then, its a letdown since that new character wont help us at all in the future since all quests are based on the same characters doing the same things over and over.
What do you guys think?

I completely get what you are saying. Something I did discuss with them over the weekend. All great thoughts. Please feel free to forward them to TinyCo. They really love this kind of feedback from players. Use your in game menu, help & Settings, and send them the info for future game suggestions. 😉

The only thing that annoys me is during an event like this I have so many characters contributing nothing. It’s especially annoying for the premium ones I grafted for doing nothing. Even if it’s 1 blam it’s something. Consuela is of no use which is a shame as I worked hard for her. Even Cleveland gives nothing and Trish has so few tasks anyway I wonder why they bothered putting her in the game.

I can tell you…TinyCo hears the complaints about this and I think something will be changing soon on it. Keep in mind it hasn’t yet hit Android so I have a feeling when that hits some things will change out with it.

Has anyone else noticed that S&M Lois and 80s Cleveland’s custumes appear in front of their normal skins does this mean that some time in the event they will earn Blam or is that just my imagination. I was thinking S&M Lois might earn some Blam because of the S&M&More building but who knows.

I’m hoping that as the event progresses, more characters will be used. Not everyone unlocked Cleveland, so I won’t be surprised if he never gets into the mix.

Only asking since I’ve unlocked Hammered Peter, but the costume shop still has a sign above it suggesting there’s still costumes left to unlock? I haven’t unlocked Stewie left so doubt it would be anything to do with him, but I didn’t get to unlock Pee Pants Peter

For all the DROID users…
Im playing the new update on my galaxy s4. I believe if you have an ipad or ipod (I have an ipad) and download the update on there when you go to play your DROID it is forced to download the newest update. I was taken immediately to the play store to update when I opened my game on my S4…that is kinda crappy if you ask me because that means there is no reason why DROID users shouldn’t have the update now except that the devs are playing favorites when it comes to OS’s. I guess they already did though because in at apple store they say there is apple only content.

In order to get the best release deal with Apple (remember, they charge a percentage to use their App Store), companies must negotiate certain “exclusive” elements like game items or early release dates. TinyCo (being a smaller gaming house) must do anything they can to cut costs to keep the game “free”. Bigger companies, like EA, are in a better position to call their own shots and not have to engage in these power play games.

Such as getting the app called Thyme since it allows you to set 5 different timers so I can time the 1 hr, 4 hr, 6 hr, 8 hr, and 20 hr tasks that are important to me right now.
Lord help me if I really needed it to time a meal in the next 46 days 🙂

What’s the next building best to build for the event: S&M&More, Cats & Mouses, Fabulous 4, or Training Center? I have enough for the S&M store but should I keep collecting for the others first?

The Fabulous 4 Headquarters will most likely be needed for their quest line. I’d wait, no hurry on the others right now. Save up more Blam and see what is needed on Friday when next celeb enters the game. 😉

I do that to analyze how many items are still needed of each type and who can earn them so I can have each char on the item that has the smallest % collected.

I apologize if this is in another post and I just missed but does Stewie drop blam? I’m debating whether I should use clams to unlock him. If he drops blam I’d probably do it if not I’m going to just try to earn the stuff normally. It still need 20 blue prints and 4 plutonium rods.

No, Stewie (as of right now) does not drop blam! Only Peter, Chris, Bonnie, Quagmire, Jerome, Bruce and Patrick Stewart drop Blam! as of now. No rush on Stewie…as of now he’s not needed for the event. Save your clams 🙂

Definitely skins coming for Stewie, but right now he’s not needed for the event. TinyCo is very good at making events available for newer players at lower levels. So only the first few characters are always featured in the main quest line.

3 pizza’s from Patrick Stewart, and just got Captain Hammered.
For those saying they didn’t get the 10 clams for opening the convention centre. You get them after completing Captain Hammered, His second task was to complete the building which I had already done and 10 clams given.

I hope I get most of the current missions wrapped up by tomorrow. I’m away for two days in Scotland to watch the commonwealth games and I’m not sure I have internet! Then I also realised I’m away the final week of the event with possibly no internet!

Pretty annoyed that we are missing out on android, the special surprise better be worth the missed week. On the plus side, if i’m lucky with drops I might just be able to pick up Stewie before the event starts on Android.
Oh, and I want to see an Avery Bullock costume for Patrick Stewart.

I am going to stay with the game and see what the concession is for Android getting less time for the event. Bad play on TinyCo’s part, as I feel alienated as a player because I’m watching everyone else enjoy new gameplay that is totally unavailable. If Apple markets also get some sort of bonus (like if the concession is that game currency doubles for ALL players), that would be nuts.
As much as I love the game, there should not be an obligation to purchase. I should want to spend my money for the game rather than HAVE to spend it.
I’ll give it this event beginning to see what they offer. 🙂 Otherwise, I’m sorry, TinyCo, but I will uninstall and bring my money to EA, Zynga, and My Singing Monsters, where at least it feels like I’m not being cheated out of cash.
If I do delete, I’ll still keep an eye on Addicts. Who knows? It’s still a new game. It may improve! 🙂

Hang in there, I myself would be going completely nuts by now (I’m 2/3 nuts now…so not a big leap..lol). The “special” gift will be exclusive to you, I would think. I’m as anxious as you to get everyone in on the fun. It truly pains me when, for whatever reason, not ALL our readers are enjoying the event. Just use this time to focus on district 8 and picking up tips and strategies so you’ll be RUNNING out of those gates, once opened. 🙂

Its just, we have a week less to reach the grand prize, and also we’ll be behind on quests constantly as they’ll be adding new ones before we can finish the earlier ones. When the event opens on Thursday we will have a day until more content is added, and only a week until more is added (assuming they update every Friday). Apple players will constantly have an advantage over Android players. Anyway, rant over 😛 it just really grinds my gears 😛

I’m hoping that android users will also have a 46 day countdown timer. When you download the game, that would give me great pleasure, if that is what you saw when you open your event information box. If we are able to start a week earlier then you guys should be able to finish up a week later. 😉

Here’s some tips for earning the maximum amount of Blam you can (without spending clams on premium stuff):
* Don’t build the Furry Dungeon until you’ve repaired the convention center, clambterprise and Q building (it’s a 500 Blam building that doesn’t give any Blam as rent, unlike the other three).
* Joint character tasks: Always have Chris walk Brian (1 hr, 5 Blam; only Chris earns Blam if the two are separated). Have Jerome save Lois (10 hr, 23 Blam; only Jerome is a Blam earning character if separated). If Bonnie is not needed for earning pizza, have her give lap dances (8hr, 20 Blam; Joe doesn’t earn anything alone). Each character would otherwise only get 1 Blam per hour otherwise.
* Individual character tasks: Depends entirely on how often you’re willing to play in your downtime. Sending Quagmire on his hour task and Bruce on his two hour and then checking in every hour would be ideal, but probably not realistic. Individual hour tasks get easier and more lucrative when you’ve unlocked Patrick Stewart and Captain Hammered — both of their 1 hr tasks earns 4 Blam an hour instead of 1/hr.
* The important factor is Peter’s 1 minute task. He earns 1 Blam every minute for it, and the dedicated player can rack it up fairly quickly. The past few nights I’ve put on a movie and had my game open, just constantly cycling Peter through this task (but then, I can multitask well :p). While the game’s open and you’re doing this, you’re also likely to get three or four rounds of blue shirts to hit for 2-3 Blam each.

You’re right. It’s still so sad to watch these updates roll out and not even be able to make a dent in the event yet! I sure hope the bonus is exclusive…Give us a limited time or exclusive to Android character or building, at least, rather than a couple clams or some event currency or a random decoration I wouldn’t have even wanted anyway. Please be a useful bonus!
I really want to enjoy this game during events as much as I enjoy the district updates, but it does seem Android players may be left in the dust for this particular event. We’ll see what happens!

I just don’t how I can achieve 100,000 Blam without purchasing the premium Blam items. I play constantly using short tasks. I even restart tasks/collect during my overnight bathroom breaks. I Thought I was doing well and was only a few hours away from getting the rocket when it was announced. But I’m still only averaging 900Blam daily. I hope there is another “king butt” style glitch, without the butts. I just can’t handle nerds AND random farting! Any ideas?? I missed out on king butt but TAKEI IS MINE!!!

The events are set up so TinyCo can make some profit (as they should)….Premium (cash spending) players get more, if not all, the prizes available (as they should). And those who enjoy playing strictly free will have fun, get a bunch of stuff, but most likely not everything (as they should). If the events were set up where everybody gets everything without spending any money, TinyCo would drop the game. Especially since no financial investment is needed from players to play the normal quests, just an investment of time.

The drop rates for blam will increase as time goes on. If Patrick Stewart drops blam (he does), the other six new characters probably will, too. I’m gonna guess that mutant Stewies will involve some blam. Peter drops double blam on his Captain Hammered tasks, so I’d look for that from Quagmire, Chris, and Lois (who currently doesn’t drop blam). I also have a feeling that the drop rate for the sommelier stand is low for the price, and I hope TinyCo fixes that since it costs so much. I wouldn’t worry too much about making it to the end if you’ve bought some premium items and can put in the time, but TinyCo should guarantee your success if you’ve bought all of the clam-priced items. If you are trying to do it for free, just enjoy what you get… you get what you pay for.

For me it’s less about cost and more about challenge. I’ll most likely buy the premium items before they r no longer available anyway. I’ve already loaded up on all the premium buildings that drop specialty items. I’m mostly wondering if someone, anyone in the community had managed a strategy I could play with. Clearly I hv no life.

My goodness! I had missed that before because it’s so buried. I suggest you guys turn that into its own post so you can modify it as the game goes forward and tasks change. Also, more people can see it and use it to help develop their own strategies. And maybe send Matthew a gift card because he’s done as much math and typing as I’ve ever seen on here and thus somewhat deserving.

Well what I did was write down their task time and blam, then divided their blam by the time to see which one gave out the most. Compared the prices to come up with the best one.
The first thing I learned is that having 2 blam characters do a task together gives you less blam. Example:
Jerome+peters hand shake = 8 blam every 2 hours = 4 an hour.
During the day you can make peter surf the bird (by far the best task in the game lol) or do taxes with Mort. If you’ll finish peter atleast 16 times in 6 hours do surf the bird, if not (and you’ll be on in 6 hours) do taxes. Any way for this example I’ll use ‘do taxes’ because its a set amount in 6 hours.
Do taxes = 16 blam every 6 hours = 2.66 an hour
Jerome can save lois for 10 hours = 23 blam = 2.3 an hour
2.3+2.66= 4.96 a hour. Which is more than the handshake.
This is a complicated example becuase it changes when bonnie has finished getting all the pizza and if you wont be on in 10hours (for jeromes task). Then you have a choice to make.
When bonnie is free again, she’ll do her task with lois and Jerome will be playing ball for 2blam an hour.
Then peter will need to earn atleast 4 blam from surf a bird in 2hours or else the hand shake is better.
Now the actual plan:
Assuming work/sleep is 8 hours
Peter: 80s dance (with cleaveland) – 20blam
Quagmire: enjoy carrots – 8blam
Chris: enjoy private time – 7 blam
Bonnie: get lapdance (with Joe) – 20blam.
However she will likely be doing the pizza task all week.
Jerome: save Lois (with Lois) – 23 blam
If you wont be on in 10 hours, but will in 8 make him do the 8 hour task for 8 Blam.
Bruce: I dont have a pla because he was fretting for an item. He’ll likely be doing it all week, but when its finished, one of his 8 hour tasks is probably best whilst sleeping/working because I dont think he has any partner tasks.
For free time
Quagmire: mix drinks – 2 blam
Chris: walk brian (with brian). 5 blam – (Best task for blam in the game other than surf the bird)
Bonnie: put lotion on Lois (with lois) – 13 blam.
Bruce: again, dont know his tasks because he is fretting. But unless he has a partner task, his shortest task is likely the best one
Jerome+peter, Whilst bonnie is getting pizza (AND you’ll be on in 10 hours):
Jerome: save Lois. (With Lois) – 23blam
Peter: surf the bird/do taxes 16+blam (depending on how much you’ll be on, Surf the bird could earn alot more than 16)
When bonnie is done with pizza and she has taken Lois away, or you wont be on in 10 hours:
Jerome: play ball – 2blam
Peter surf the bird- 1 blam
UNLESS you wont finish peter 4 times in 2 hours. Then the best is the handshake.
So thats my plan.
Might seem long and complicated, but atm with only patrick stewart to unlock (from the update atleast) the only ‘hard’ one is peter/bruce/bonnie, because they change depending on whats what.
I want the characters though so my bonnie will be on the strip pole working her butt off!
Jerome will be saving lois 2times a day, sleep and then again straight after, then go to short tasks till bedtime
Peter will be 80s dancing at the club, same times as jeromes saving Lois and surfing the bird the rest/short task the rest.

Atm I cant see there being a way to get 100k but the event is 40days, so it will likely add new things in at some point.
Also this plan likely changes when new characters are able to be unlocked. But the basics stay the same.

A cool little tip for you all to save your Blams. Once you’ve collected enough (like the 1,000 for Patrick Stewart) but not all, hit complete now with clams (it’ll be 1 or 2 if you get close enough, and you complete the Blam part AND keep the Blams you’ve collected. So I had 955 and hit to unlock him and it only asked for 3 clams. Did it and kept the 955 Blams AND I got to collect Blams as a reward so I’m now closer to the next building than I would’ve been had I had to use all my Blams.
Cool eh?

That might just be a cool glitch you found. It’s supposed to take your Blam and the clams cover the amount your short.

You’ll get the 10 clams when you complete the quest which involves unlocking Captain Hammered first. The last part of the quest is to open the convention center.

If you open it before being prompted (for part 6) then you won’t get the clams right away. When part 6 starts and you already have the convention center opened then you should get the reward for completing the task.
If the task was already prompted and you completed it and didn’t get it then yes I would send a message.

I bought a 15$ iTunes card to get the brain damaged horse and buzz killington. I did the quest to buy 5$ worth of money and get 5$ worth of clams for free. That worked. I went to buy 10$ worth of clams and it said “are you sure” and I hit yes, and it said “insufficient remaining in store credit” but I checked and I still have 10$. WTF

You need to contact iTunes, so they can confirm the exact amount in your credited account. It happened to me once. The shown amount and actual amount got messed up. They gave me extra credit for the screw up. 😉

As usual my issue is the lack of use of the other players when I have so much to collect, and if I two task that call for a thousand balm when I collect them it should go towards both not start me all over a damn gain thank you that is all!! And I will never purchase clams so most of the stuff you need to purchase with clams I’ll never get! Now I’m done lol

I really hate it that android launch a week later. We have 36 days and apple 46 days. It is really anoyying that we can’t start at the same time. I hope they have a good reason to do this and i hope that they give something special to us.

So glad Patrick earns blam.
Dropped the clams on two of the huge blam trucks (I know, I know, $30 for two tiny virtual items, but its out of my summer fun budget and come on, its comicon!). Even with 200 extra blam every 6 hours I am just short of the pace that will get me to 100,000 by event end.
Sad state when a guy who drops $30 bucks on a free to play can’t get the top prize.
Any way without some significant bonuses I will never earn George Takei (who by the way I want only because he is a superb human being, not because I like star trek) If all the celebs drop blam and there is a final push event, I may just be able to make it!
(you’re probably wondering if I’m going to do another parenthetical aside. I am, but now I’m done)

When I pull the trigger on spending some of my “fun” money, I’m leaning towards the sommelier, and maybe even both trucks. (Can’t believe I just said that out loud…lol) but, I see it also as the only way this premium player will get Mr. Hikaru Sulu, one of my favorites. 😉
