Final Thought:
Personally, I do like the thought of adding some more vehicle options to the Quahog layout. With Blam! needed for pretty much every item during this event, it will be in great demand. That being said, I think these ones are on the border for me. Really cool to look at, but cost is a bit steep for my tastes. There are other ways to earn the Blam! without spending those precious clams. The Super Truck does have a better payout for the Clams spent. Overall, I would say these may be more for the completionist.
With it being part of a Limited Time Event, just make sure you make up your mind as once the event is over it is most likely they will be gone. In the end it’s your call. What you buy and what you don’t buy is your own personal choice we can only guide you on the facts and let you know what we did and what we think. But don’t purchase it until YOU are sure. ALL SALES ARE FINAL!

Here’s the thing that bugs me the most about TQFS at the moment with these big events. Having played A Certain Other Tapping Game for the best part of two years I’ve found that with nearly perfect play every day you can obtain all the special items on offer for that event without having the need to spend the premium currency. Sure, if you fall behind then or start late then it’s almost necessary that you will to catch up, but for the most part by the end of the event you’ll have everything. With TQFS TinyCo is making it almost mandatory that you have to pay upwards of £25 (at least) on clams and exclusive items just to get anywhere near the top prizes! Maybe I’m jumping the gun here as it is only a week into their second event and they could still be finding their feet and there’ll be plenty of Blam! earning opportunities but at this rate they could end up burning out their cash flow pretty quickly.

Yeah, the Blam! earning premium stuff cost more this event than the Moon event but then again I figure out TinyCo’s must be investing more money this event with the 7 guest celebs, which is quite an amazing feat in itself for any game. For a freemium game where majority don’t spend money on these games, they have to make some money somehow from premium players. I bought a super truck and the sommelier this event, plus all the premium buildings, just to show my support for the game. There goes the majority of my entertainment allowance this month. But hey, comic con only comes once a year, and participating in this event makes me feel like I’m there virtually. No regrets here. 🙂

So which blam items do you guys suggest someone should invest in? Do you just get the trucks or maybe just the bar or all three early on? While I do have money I can spend I do want to be smart on how I should spend that. I would like to see the possibility of getting George but I want to do it sensibly not just blindly throwing money out there for this and that but rather have a gameplan that guarantees me the most optimal blam earning outputting strategy for my money.

If you have the clams, although pricey, the bar is the best “Blam for Clam” item. I bought both, it and the Super Truck. But I’m a Premium player and a bit of a completionist lol 😉

$55 for premium items and your still not insured Takei! Wth really? I know.. “it’s still early in the event, wait and see what TC have planned”.
Thats all well and good but i just find it mind blowing that TC feel it’s ok to ask ppl to pay that much (and ALOT of you do)and not guarantee the top prize in return. People spending $25 on 1 item is a very slippery slope for ALL players. I can see this very easily leading to a $40 item for the next event and prices going up with each new event.
I know it is up to each person to choose how they spend their $ and TC isnt holding a gun to anyones head to buy “stuff” but i think we can all agree on the fact that prices NEED to come down!
The Addicts say TC is reading and responding to us players. Well i think we players need to send a message en masse.
This could be done by EVERYONE NOT BUYING ANYTHING DURING THIS EVENT. I know this would suck for alot but it would tell TC that we wont pay truck loads of $ no matter what they throw our way.
We as players need to come together and do something about this before TC becomes comfortable with their pricing.
And as bad as it would be for us all i include this blog in not buying “stuff”. The amount you must spend for this blog, surely TC would notice that loss.

Rants are good for the gaming soul…lol I agree with you, I’m a premium player and do wish the prices were lower on some big ticket items. I think what TC is doing is what any business does…test the market. See where the line is drawn for consumer participation. When players naturally find their spending threshold, and stop investing in certain items, prices will be reduced. The good thing, to play the “normal” non-event game, not a single investment is needed other than time. You are not required to spend clams to move the story forward.

I’ve actually spent the majority of the last hours just reading comments across several posts, and I like seeing a little into the minds of other players. Sometimes it actually helps put my own at ease a little.

First of all…I really enjoy this site. It’s a definite daily browse just to be sure I haven’t missed anything…so, kudos to the staff!
Now here’s my take on things, FWIW…I really, really love this event. My inner geek is delighted that TinyCo has pulled off something this cool…but, I am also a strictly “freemium” player. The only clams I get are from the game and my one neighbor town since I will not link to my FB for the sake of neighbors. I save these clams for characters and lower cost buildings when I finally get enough. During the King Butt event I wasn’t really bothered that I wouldn’t reach the end with the maximum butts (and didn’t), mostly because I didn’t really care for most of the prizes (was happy to get the party camel and museum…everything else went into storage). Although I would really LOVE to have George Takei in my Quahog, I have my expectations set really low that this will happen. And that’s OK! If I can get all the other celebs (assuming they aren’t premium), any cool buildings offered for Blam! and at least get to “Super Lois” on the prize list, I will be fine with that. Anything further will be icing on the cake. I don’t want to stress for the next 40 days about this game…I want to enjoy the utter brilliant geek-dom they’ve brought to us. If I don’t get Takei in the end…I’ll just see him on Facebook like the rest of the world 😉

A great take on it. I appreciate the amusing items they launched in this event and that a lot of items are attainable for all. In the end, it is a game for enjoyment. To me that is the ultimate goal. Am I having fun? If I am, everything else is a bonus. 😉

I would say it depends on your device, its storage and memory capability, and how full it is now. With any event on any device, I do notice with a LOT of activity and animation, the lag does set in. So I try to store items not really in use and that may have animation that could cause lag.

I play this on an iPod touch fifth gen. not a phone just iPod and not the really big storage one. My game has never crashed or closed. I lost connection once but that was due to internet issues. Maybe it has nothing to do with device? ppl have said recent glitches are happening also, and I have experienced none of it.

As I said, many possibilities. Phones also run off data plans. Those can be very unstable at times. WiFi is always better. Not to mention phones have about 100 more things going on inside to run them vs just an iPod and those programs need the extra internal memory. There is also compatibility issues. Every device is as different as every person playing. So when there’s an issue you have to start from square one and narrow it down case by case. No one plays the game the same. So it doesn’t matter what you have vs them…issue is there so gotta troubleshoot it

WHY….. does it take so long to get rare items unless you spend clams on them?

now i’m playing the COMIC-con on both my ipad/android device….
Not, sure how everyone is having issues i am running a moto X with 4.4.2
have an email account not facespace/mybook to make sure I don’t lose my data.
The event started then i went to my ipad 2 and got it updated then i wasn’t able to get internet connection to get the tasks updated so i installed it on my phone. (android) logged in with my email account and bam I can run all the tasks and everything.

Has anyone else had this problem?
I’ve noticed that when I click Blam from the 3 buildings and the large Blam Truck, it all goes to the small counter at the top of the screen, but the Comic Con counter doesn’t move at all, it only moves when I collect Blam from The Trek Guys and my town people.
What good are the buildings and trucks I spend real money on if they don’t move both meters?
I collected 100 from the large truck, the small meter went up 100′ but the Comic Con one didn’t ever register, same for the three buildings!
The same thing happend with the King Butt quest, but it was worse.. The smal meter always collects, but the one at the bottom registered maybe half of what I was clicking.

I did notice same with the King Butt event, however…I noticed something else too…it took longer for the lower one to “catch up” at times. The points did eventually add, but after a slight delay or a moment to sync the game. Monitor it and see if that is what your are experiencing. (The numbers will vary if you used Blam! to purchase an item as one is overall total and one is total you can use to purchase.) If you notice the counts are not syncing ie adding that extra 100 blam to the total, then contact TinyCo right away. Also, please let me know.

I did contact Tiny co about the Blam just before I came here, with a cut and paste of most of the entire message I posted here, what you saw it what I sent them in game, but they still haven’t even contacted me back about the lack of Butts I sent near the beginning of the King Butt event!
And they never once replied to any of the direct Emails I send to them.
So I think they just stopped reading complaints from gamers anymore.

I can ensure you first hand they have indeed NOT stopped. They are most definitely paying attention. Sometimes it does take a bit to respond. Other times they have and it may have gone to spam.
Not sure what I can do about the Kingdom issues, but let’s focus on the current one at hand. Do me a favor, so I can help you out. Take a SS of your totals (upper and lower counts) before collection of Blam! Then after collection from just one item (whether vehicle or character) take another SS. Let me know what or who you tapped on. Send me the SS to our email along with your log in info (facebook or email used to sign in) and I can see what I can find out.
Just give it a bit to see if there is just a lag in the sync. Like the 100 goes to the top, but not to the bottom til after you jump to a neighbor or ollie and back to sync it. Let me know what you find out on your end. 😉

Well, when I collect Blam from Townies, it goes right to the bottom, but nothing from the buildings or truck did, in 6 hours when the truck is ready with 100 Blam, I’ll take a pic and add it up and see what happens..

I just had a fleet of about 10 Blue Trekies, I looked at the current points and then clicked them all, the top meter went up 20 points, the bottom one only went up 6.
I clicked a few of the red and yellow ones and a few townies, and the same thing happend, only about a third of the points went to the Comic Con.
I waited several minutes to see if there was a delay, nothing else showed up, even when I collected Sufin the Bird points.
So far Surfin points always show up.
Though I did notice that some Blams were added as soon as I clicked the Trekkie, and some once the Blam hit the top of the screen.
It’s like when you have a lot of Blam on the screen to collect at once, it’s not all counted, even when I clicked only one Trekkie, 2 Blams were added to the too, but not to the con.
I reported this to tiny co too..

Same thing I saw during Kingdom and now. The lower recognizes Blam! Right off amd adds it immediately, even before the containers were tapped on or autocollected. Then the upper played catch up. The two were off…but not for long. They eventually synced.
The numbers in mine are different due to I’ve spent blam to unlock convention, ship, etc…but 100 still added to both areas

I love the super Blam! trucks. Looks really cool and love the animation. I bought one to show my support to TinyCo’s ComicCon event. Great to have it in my town. And passed 5K Blams! a couple of days ago and that Gatomobile prize is freakin’ awesome!

I’ve created an account via the game (3rd option “Sign In with a Username” in the Account Info menu) to save my game and be able to play on multiple devices.
I’m playing the game just on my iphone as currently I don’t own other devices when I can play it. My concern is about whether or not the game updates the save automatically or not to the most recent version should I decide in the future to play it on some other device.
Do I need to log in on my iphone every time I play the game to update my save or am I logged in automatically each time I launch the game and the update is done in the background automatically as well?
Hope I wasn’t too winding and confusing in my question. 😛

For most devices (just keep an eye on yours), once you put in your linked account…it usually auto launches it to that game. If you uninstall, clear cache/data, etc…you will need to sign back in. The game will save and link to that account so make sure you keep using just that one. Then if you decide another device in the mix, it is a quick few steps to log in to the new device, it will load your saved data, and you can pick up where you left off. My GS4 auto launches me into my game every time.

Just to verify, we are just Addicted players and NOT TinyCo. Wanted to make sure that was clear.
We are here to help and provide info to the community and other players of the game. As far as the release dates, those are controlled by the app markets. It is up to Google and iOS on when they decide they will allow an update to go through. Lots of ins n outs, too much to explain. TinyCo does what they can to make it as close to each other as possible. Up til now, Android has always been first and iOS delayed, so it is refreshing to see iOS got their turn to be first too.
There is a lot going on each event with new items added all the time. It is only a week in. No time to pass judgment on something just starting. The launch for Android and Kindle is so close. Just wait, then play and have fun. 😉

The blueprints are not dropping at all. So much for being common. Before they switched quagmire to 20 hours, I had him on 4 days of back to back net chicks. Dropped blueprints only 1x. Bruce has played with kittens 3x in a row now without dropping blueprints. I can’t remember the last time Herbert dropped blueprints (I switch him back and forth between little league and Popsicles since I also need 3 more bananas). I still need 18 blueprints. The rare bananas are dropping more consistently than the blueprints.
On a positive note though, I only need 2 more pizza slices! Keep up the twerking Bonnie!

So I caved in and bought the trucks and spend a bunch of clams on the event and only have 7000 ish so far into the event which I’m happy with but have no idea how people have 40000+ already? like did they buy like 100 trucks and spend a heck ton of money or is there some way (apart from surfing the bird) to make quick blam! Also, are we going to see both a event calender and a best way to get blam! post soon?

I posted this in another comment but if you buy the sommelier station and speed it up 400 times (6400 clams) that’s 100k blams. So basically $200 gets you every prize. I actually did that along with a few friends…. I don’t regret it because I just got a nice bonus at work. George is not voice acted yet and consulea doesn’t let me view his face space as he has no posts just yet. Even though I have every prize the event itself will keep me busy because they keep releasing other stuff like characters costumes and quests :).

The loading screen comes up ok then the bar at the bottom fills up to about 3/4 then it shuts down,after 3 tries a crash report option comes up to email tiny co which I’ve done but so far no reply,

What are you playing on? I know there are a lot of issues with this update and older devices. It’s because this update has a TON of stuff in it that many older devices can’t handle it.

Ok…I believe this is the challenge you are facing, your iPad 2 has less memory than the 3, 4 or Air. It was able to handle the memory requirements of the event when the event first updated. But slowly, more content has been added. Yesterday, they added more code in the the form of new “added” tasks and they most likely preloaded the new celeb that will open on Friday. This has sent your device to it’s memory limits, thus causing the device to trigger an auto close of the game. Make sure (before you open the game) every app that may be running is hard closed, anything you have set to run in the background, turn off. Then turn off your device and turn it back on to clear anything in the memory cache. Then start the game. This will hopefully work. (Also, check your wi-fi strength). Let us know if it works.

I’m about to go crazy trying to decide if I want one of these Blam! dropping Items. >__< I'm trying to wait out a few more weeks of the event to see what comes. It appears the Mutant Stewies that are coming drop Blam as well. (At least from what hackers have found.)
At a little over 7,000 Blam! currently. Keeping my fingers crossed that the Blam! drops are doubled halfway through the event like with the Full Moon one. (I guess for players that get a late start?) I'd LOVE it if the premium characters earned double again too (or even just earned), but I'm not holding my breath on that one.
I'm thinking/hoping this event may be a bit more well-balanced than the first one. The recent mini-events have been more than fair. Also liking how most of the buildings this time will fit in well with the rest of the town. (Not that I don't love my mini Egypt tucked away in the corner.)

Rule #1….never trust what hackers say. TinyCo can change any aspect of the game, at any time. So you never know what the next phase of the event will bring.
That all being said…great blam! collecting! I think something will be coming at another phase of the event to help earn more Blam!

People sure get upset over the strangest things. Losing 8 hours over a task in a game (probably while they were sleeping) is somehow worth a great deal of consternation and threats to quit the game. I would hate to see how these people react to something that is actually worth getting angry about… They would probably nuke the planet if they could lol

tl;dr: I agree with you that the price is steep, but the sad reality is that if you don’t buy some of these Blam!-droppers (and buy them early enough to make a real difference!) you’ll never come close to getting the 100K needed to unlock George Takei.
The proof? I did some careful observing and some simple math, and here’s what I found out:
– Blue shirts spawn at the rate of 3 every 7.5 minutes, starting on the hour. This makes an hourly total of 24 nerds. Assuming a random distribution of 2 and 3 Blam! cans per nerd (and I suspect it’s more like 2 to 1 in favor of 2 cans, but let’s be generous) we have an hourly potential of 60 cans/hour (24 nerds * 2.5 cans). Assuming you collect ALL of these nonstop, you’re going to end up with a little over 66,000 cans at the end of the 46-day event.
– Reds spawn at the rate of 2 every 4 hours on the hour. They drop 10 Blam! a piece. That’s an hourly total of 5 cans, so that’s another 5,520 cans for the event. (Actually it’s a bit less because they only start spawning when Q is upgraded.)
– Gold shirts spawn at the rate of 2 every 6 hours on the hour and drop 20 Blam! each. Event total: less than 7,360 since they only start spawning when the Convention Center is repaired.
Grand total for the event is under 80K cans. But here’s the real kicker: you can only have 12 nerds of any color in your town at any given time — any potential others are lost. This means that in order to get 66K cans out of the Blue shirts you need to log on EVERY THIRTY MINUTES, 24 hours a day for the whole event! Wait any longer and you start losing nerds (and precious Blam!). Let’s say you play 24/7 but only once an hour; you’d only get 12 Blues an hour for a paltry total of 33K for the event! Wanna get 8 hours of sleep every night without waking up every 30 minutes to play? Then you’ll lose all but the last 12 nerds of each color that could have spawned during the night — and now your Blue total is at 45K and change. You want sleep AND you only play once an hour? 23K cans and change.
Note that you won’t lose any Reds or Golds by sleeping through the night (you need to skip a full day before you start losing Reds since they also top out at 12 nerds, and you need to skip a day and a half to lose Golds) but they only get you a total of ~12K between them over the course of the event.
“But wait!”, you say. “Characters drop Blam! too!”. Right you are. But the best drop I’ve seen (so far) is Capt Hammered’s one-hour task at 4 cans / hour. Assuming you play non-stop (waking every hour during the night to restart the task!), that’s 4,224 cans. With very few exceptions, other Blam!-dropping characters top out at 2 cans/hour, or 2,112 for the event. And so far there’s only 6-7 chars dropping Blam!. At this rate you can never even reach 20K cans from working those characters to the bone for the whole event.
Lois, Chris and Quaggie will likely also drop 4 cans/hour when they get their superhero skins — whenever that is. And more characters (Felicia Day! Woot!) will also arrive and likely pay out Blam!. But the problem is that the longer we have to wait before they unlock, the less it matters in the grand scheme of things since this is a marathon and cans trickle in at a mind-numbingly slow rate. Remember that “Beat King Butt by earning Jelly-O shots” boondoggle last month, giving us one “final sprint” option in the last few days of the event? Way too little, way too late — just another smokescreen. While it *seemed* like that could help you make up your deficit in the race for 100K Idols, you eventually realized you could never hope to make up for the large deficit from the rest of the event. Unless you spent tons of Clams on Jelly-O generators, of course.
But back to Comic Con. Some quests also drop 50-100 cans when completed, but so far after 5 days they’ve barely amounted to 1000 cans and I suspect that this rate will not hold up — quests tend to be front-loaded during these events. And even if they do keep going at this rate you’ll never even crack 10K cans from them.
So EVEN IF you played every 30 minutes without sleep for the entire 46 days of the event you’re still only earning < 80K cans from nerds and < 20K from characters — which means no Takei for you. And realistically, most of us normal people needing some sleep once in a while will actually stuggle to reach 60K cans even if they play non-stop during their waking hours.
George Takei doesn't cost 100,000 Blam! cans; George Takei costs *actual money* to the tune of several hundred Clams — those can-dropping trucks and Sommelier station are the ONLY way you'll ever get him.
Don't get me wrong. I understand full well that freemium games are not free, and that in fact *everyone* should buy some Clams at least once in a while to keep the game profitable for Tiny Co, otherwise new content and support will stop coming. But these events that use a special currency (Idols, Blam!, etc) should NOT use that currency to hide the true cost of the most desirable items. That just makes Tiny Co look a bit shifty, like they want to *con* us into buying Clams…

Makes sense and seems like you’ve worked out all the details. I would just caution you on a few things.
1. You (and I mean everyone) have got to change your thinking when it comes to how these events with TinyCo are done. TQFS is it’s own game & as such they’re going to do things different, to make people want to play the game every day. But you can’t base your thinking when it comes to this on how other games are done….TinyCo is it’s own company. Base this event on the past TQFS events…not other gaming events.
2. This event WILL evolve as it progresses. TinyCo does things to get us playing the game each and every day. So they will add things that will help earn more blam! at various points during the event.
3. During the first event TinyCo didn’t release the final prizes, so no one knew what the max prize was or what the amount was. For this event they went ahead and said…here are all the prizes and what they’ll cost. (which is what people requested) But now many people are worried they won’t make it. Just relax and play the game and see how it develops. It’s not even released on Android yet…so we don’t know how it will evolve.
Of course there’s no guarantee you’ll hit all the required blam! but if you feel it can’t be done now, at day 5 it’s going to be a very long a event for you.
Just remember they are listening to your comments…and they do make changes on the fly based on what you guys want out of the game. You can’t make a judgement on an event that’s over a month long less than 1 week it. It’s not fair to TinyCo and it’s not fair to you. Let’s just see what happens when the game hits Android 🙂

Thank you for doing the math for me 🙂 getting 100k blam is possible for free if you follow what you said.. But possible not probable for the large majority of players because we can’t commit 45 days to a game.. And that’s fine.. Thank for doing the math for me 🙂

Even with the Blam! Sommelier Station, it’s pretty difficult to get the blam needed for George Takei, assuming you log in exactly every 8 hours from the first second of the event which will get you 29,250 Blam cans, and assuming you don’t play nonstop to complete character tasks and beam up geeks it still wont be easy unless you get 4 Blam stations and log in every 8 hours. If you only get 3 you’re still expected to play enough to get 12,250 additional Blams. In summary you will need to spend 2800 clams in order to play at a comfortable pace to get Takei, and thats by still logging in every 8 hours. The cheapest way to do this is to get two crates and one drum of clams, which equals approx $90.

Keep in mind that previous events proved the game events change and adapt as they go. Moon Idols doubled and tripled in drops during the last event. Just hang in there. 6 weeks still to go. Lots of stuff still coming. Don’t focus on what is happening today to judge tomorrow. You don’t know just yet what is coming. 😉

Few questions about new event for those that have it. I have Android so I have to wait until Thursday, which is fine for me. But I am curious……
The characters earn BLAM instead of money, or both, or neither?
I still have 19 blueprints and 7 Plutonium so can I continue to go after those, or are the characters that you use to get those now going to have to do something else?
Also, if I have NOT unlocked Stewie yet is that ok or do I need him to complete tasks to unlock celebrities? Also, while regular Quagmire is doing the 20 hour task to get a blueprint, I CAN continue to do this and he will get a shot at the blueprint and also earn blam? Or, to earn blam you have to do separate tasks or quests?
One last question…does the event give you a timer as to when it ends…I heard originally that it might be a 45 day event, now I am hearing maybe 30 days…?

-Quagmire, Bruce & Peter so far have quests for the first part of the event. And you won’t need Bruce until you unlock Patrick Stewart. So you can still send Lois, Brian & Herbert to get Plutonium and Blue Prints during the event, and Bruce until you unlock Patrick Stewart.
-I don’t believe you’ll need Stewie for the event. Still work towards unlocking him, but I don’t think you’ll get “stuck” in the event if you don’t unlock him.
As far as Quagmire’s task. Now that it’s for Regular Quagmire…yes you can earn Blam! while doing the task to earn a Blueprint.
-Yes there is an event Timer for the event. It was 46 days from launch, when it hits Android it’ll be down to 39 days. However, while I don’t think they will at this time, you never know if TC will extend it for Android users…

Does that mean that as an Android user; I get screwed out of seven days of the event? If freemium players have a hard time getting 100,000 blams in 46 days; how am I ever to hope of getting George in 39 days. Does the clock start at 46 days or 39 days for Android users on 7/31?

Right now don’t worry on the numbers. TinyCo always has surprises dropping within the event and changes made. Just wait and see is what I can offer to you right now. They are well aware of the android/kindle users delay. 😉

You might be right.l I was just clicking lots of Blue shirts and the same thing happend, then I clicked Peter for one Blam and it added 3 Blam the first time and 5 the 2nd time.. I guess it makes up the more,you click, as long as you don’t clost or pause the game, you might eventually get all,the earned points.
Another time I clicked three at once, and while it added 2 at a time to the too, it added all 6 to the bottom in one shot.
I’m, Gonna have to keep a closer eye on this…

Nope, it’s still skipping Blam when you click blueshirts.. I clicked 5 of them and got only 4 Blam, when you can clearly see some had a 2 and 3 next to them when you collected them.
Then I tried a few a single Blueshirts one at a time to see what happens and see if the kissing Blam Showed up and it didn’t, some registered to the Comic Con and some didn’t, but all went to the counter at the top.
It was doing it randomly, that’s what has been throwing me off, once in a while it works fine, sometimes it messes up, seems to,happen randomly with buildings and trucks too..

Just played again, I first clicked on the three buildings, two gave me Blam, the Q buildings 5 Blam only went to the top of the screen.
I clicked Peter a few times afterwards and only got 1 Blam, the missing 5 never showed up again.

Harry, my friend, TinyCo posted about known problems they are currently fixing. This is what they wrote about what you are possibly experiencing: “Event Bottom Score….The score is not updating until relaunch.” Do me a favor…write down your bottom score and tap on some Blam producers. When you see it didn’t add up, hard close the game and then recheck the score and see if it changed (remember “hard close” not minimize). See if it’s adding them after the relaunch. If it’s not, then you have another variation of the same problem. Let me know, Thanks 🙂

Well, I always hard close between sessions, (saves in battery,life,on my iPad Air) so I clicked on several blueshirts,.. Blam was added to the too score, but I always watch the bottom and half the Blam didn’t register at all, I saw as i clicked Blam one at a time that half the time it wasn’t added so I took a pic, closed the game, then hard closed it, then started it again and the points were exactly the same, the missing points weren’t added.
The same thing was happening during the King Butt event! I reported that the week it started but never heard back from tinyco about it.
So what problem do I have?
One that sucks for sure!
I know that I’m at least getting screwed out of about 200 points a day.

Hmmmmmm, definitely a bigger issue than the one they are seeing trend. Have you uninstalled/reinstall the game yet (only do it if game linked to email or Facebook)? This will be something they ask and will also remove the chance that it is a local device issue. If you have, and it didn’t help, send the before/ after screen shots, and your game ID# (32 digit number on “account info” screen, not opening screen) and date you first noticed it…. to the email address Bunny gave you earlier. We can run it up the flag pole from our end. Hang in there. 🙂

Should I sign out of Facebook before I delete the game?
Can just login in again and just continue where I left off or do I have to play the game a bit first?
If so, What if I log into Facebook and it saves the new game I just started?
I’m kind of worried about that happening I’ve read about it happening to other people on your website.

You’ll be fine. I have uninstall/reinstall several times. Since you are linked to Facebook your game is safely stored on the main servers. It will start from level 1 but then just follow these instructions:

Well I did the reinstall and followed the instructions on the website and got my town right back after the reinstall.
I think it worked.. There was a point where I clicked stuff and it didn’t add eact one, but I think that when I had 3 Blam on screen at the same time, clicking the first one gave me 6 and the other two gave me nothing..
I think it gave me the total of them all on the first Blam and added in the rest before collecting them.. I’m gonea have to play a bit more to be sure..
In the mean time, friday I’m gonna pick up some app cards and buy that Blam Bar.. Even if it wasn’t part of the event I still would want it in my town.

Well, the problem is stil there..
I had an army of Blue Shirts clicked them one at a time so there was only one Blam to collect at a time, and collected Blam one at a time.. About a third of the time the Blam didn’t go to the Comic Con.
So I did the hard close and tried again, the Blam wasn’t added back in so that didn’t work, so it’s defiantly somthing wrong with the game.
What’s the next step besides sending another note to tiny co?
Btw, I did hear back from tiny co, they answered a question that I didn’t even ask about! They said if you have a friends town you visit that hasn’t upgraded their game that you might get Butts in your game instead of Blam.
It’s not what I needed, but it might help someone else.

Just played a round and sent a screenshot to you, I forgot to mention I collected. Blam from Everything from The three buildings to All Three Shirts, but still messed up on a blueshirt.
But not as bad now since the reinstall. Maybe down to 10% messing up.

It’s a lot to drop for a building…that I know. But when they say Plutonium is extra rare they certainly mean it! If your that short it might be worth the investment. However, I can tell you that (at least for the first part) Brian and Lois are not needed for any quests during Comic Con. So you can continue to send them on their 8hr tasks with out interrupting the event.

Am I losing it, or did they JUST change the length of Quagmire’s task needed to get the blueprints. I swear it’s been 12 hours. When I collected this morning, I didn’t get one and when I tried to restart it, it wasn’t there anymore. So I looked at his other options, and now it’s a 20 hour task. Did this change for anyone else?

My suspicion is it’s done for those who don’t have Bathrobe Quagmire yet, but still want Stewie. OR it’s done so you can still earn Blam! from the task during the event, since Quagmire earns Blam! but bathrobe Quagmire does not.

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. I have not moved my “A” game over to iOS so it hasn’t started the event yet, and I’ve been trying to get everything required for Stewie before it does. A waste of 12hrs for me as well…sadly. But the good news is it’ll be hitting our devices Thursday and I can’t wait to see what TinyCo will be doing for Android players 🙂

So this didn’t just irritate me as well. Its bad enough being left out of an event but to make me waste 12 hours making it a total of over a day before quagmire comes up with an item needed to unlock Stewie which I’m really trying to do before this update is just mean. TC is really starting to get on my nerves this time around man this special item better be amazing to make up for all this unnecessary empty waiting that I have been put through. I have a pretty decent amount of money put on the side for this event to get everything from it. But now I’m really debating whether or not I should even give it to them.

I know it’s extremely frustrating, it happened to me too. But hold out just a couple more days and see what they have in store for Android players. I know they’re listening to all the frustrations about the Android delay & hopefully they’ll make some tweaks and changes for those that got hit with the delay.

It better I have $100 dollars put aside that I can afford to spend this time around while that may not be a lot to some people it is for me and would buy me quite a bit of clams. But as of right now I’m debating whether they deserve a quarter of that. Really dropping the ball in my opinion TC.

Now being from the south trucks are all the rage. So I do like having one in the game now. Plus these trucks remind me of that movie “Role Models” And every time I see it “Detroit Rock City” starts playing in my head because of that movie lol.

And it changed while he was doing the task for me so I didn’t even get the blueprint. Weak sauce tinyco. It’s little things like that which can frustrate me to the point of not playing anymore. I don’t care if things gets changed but if you are on a task you should still get the chance at the reward.
