Did you go to the app market and make sure you have the newest update? Did you see if Peter was free so he can be tapped on to trigger it? Any other troubleshooting tried? Let us know so we can help better. 😉

Not sure why it is not triggering for you. You may need to reach out to them through your game menu, help & settings, and let them know all the troubleshooting you tried. Let us know how it goes.

Oddly my game crashed after getting the 50 clams but fortunately i didnt lose them when i restarted. Now another app store update just appeared. Kind o afraid to download it until someone else tries it after the last fiasco.
What happened to the extra hams? They just disappeared? Wouldve been nice to change them into something else.
I also noted today quagmire now offers a 12 hr chance at the sundae. Better than nothing, but really? 6-12 hr tasks for an extra rare item in a time limited event? *sigh*

Update is to help those that were not linked to an account remove the Assert Error glitch issue.
The ham issue was corrected. They were independent from any other item so did not impact any other collections.
Yes, we updated a few places he now has a task to help acquire the rarer ice creams.

This gift is very nice , also you might want to save up these clams , not for future events or other things , but in general for the sake of having more than 1 or 2 clams as a free player ( like most of us) , but all the shits and giggles aside though , this is an awesome gift

I was feeling a little unloved after getting mugged over buying all the latest buildings, so the 50 clams was a nice surprise. As much as I love this game I’m hoping we haven’t got another 3 weeks of 100-150 clam payouts to buy buildings. Also Just hit the 68500 mark on the score board, hay go Bryan! …now just need something to spend them on(hint).

Going to use my clams to get Stan Lee’s trailer which will no doubt appear when he’s added to the game. I want him more than anything else in the event so getting a little help to get him is great.

Yep. Got my clams. But I’m still having tons of crashes. I’m on iOS so I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled many many many many times. But I still have tons of lags when moving around my Quahog. And crashes when going to the store and scrolling to see what next to buy. And crashes when going to my friends’ Quahogs.

Unless you REALLY want Jake Tucker, I would save them. He has very few tasks, never takes part in special events, and never is needed to get items for characters. Maybe they’ll make a change once Tom Tucker is available, but Jake will probably still be 50 clams then, so no rush to buy him.

A nice gesture from Tiny Co if only more developers were like this. Unfortunately I’m still having trouble with loading the game on my Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition) since the pre event update.Tiny Co have been looking into it and fortunately the game works on my S5 so I can still enjoy the event but I would rather play it on the larger screen 😐

EA gave TSTO players 20 donuts (probably about the same actual money worth considering the higher asking prices for premium stuff in TQFS) for enduring the lagging debacle in May.

Yes EA did compensate for the lag Issue it just a shame that Tapped out still lags on the Note 10.1 and Galaxy S pro tablets and has done since they were released. there are tonnes of post on the EA forums but nothing has ever come of it. Support even fobbed me off with doughnuts and said they had passed it to the studio as its a device issue not a account issue. At Least Tiny Co accepted the fault.looked into it and responded with a fix 🙂

At least I’m not the only one having an issue with the Note 10.1 2014. Every time I try loading, I get the null road broken pt1 error. Luckily, I use my iPhone, but the bigger screen would be quite nice!

Sounds like it’s an issue on the app install itself. Try clearing your cache, uninstalling it, restarting your device and redownloading a fresh copy of the app from the Google Play Store. That should eliminate the issue. 🙂

Been there, done that several times with each version update over the past few weeks. Sent an email to TC, and got the generic replay stating the same, but that they expect that this particular issue should be resolved within about 3-4 weeks. Guess I’m missing out on the Joe costume

No such luck. I’ve rebooted, cleared cache, cleared data, uninstalled and reinstalled with the same error, either that, or just hanging for about two minutes before being reported as a crash through the Android OS.
Is this an issue that is resolved server-side, or with a client update? I’m currently running 1.1.3, released 8/10.

Ok I like that they gave Quagmire a task for dropping sundaes but he wasn’t really good at getting records. I’ll give him a chance to try but I’m a bit skeptical that he really knows how to make a sundae. =(

Does anyone else have a problem with Captain Hammerhead where in his tasks list it’s not marking that he drops any pesticides next to his two 2hr tasks?

Is it still showing the “multiple” box? If so, tap on the box to see the pesticides inside. If there is nothing at all, then you have a problem with your game (I just checked mine and everything is normal). You’ll need to contact TinyCo. You can also try an uninstall/reinstall to clean up any bad files.

No, the multiple box does not appear next to his two 2hr tasks that drop pesticides. Till yesterday evening all was well until now… Guess I’ll uninstall/reinstall it. I have an iphone. Does deleting the game from my phone suffice to uninstall it?

The pesticide dose not show if your giant stewie is doing its 30second timeout. Fyi if you zap a latcher during the 30 seconds the only prize is a sundae so more likley to get a drop of 1

I may understand the 500 clams (I still think the price is too high) when there is 27 days to go that’s a lot of pesticides BC will drop.
But let say if someone buy it when there is only 10 days to go, the quantity of pesticides BC will drop till the end of the event is lower than with 27 days, thus a reduced price would make sense.

I also received a message awarding me with a car. However, I had already earned The Blaze after completing a second streak. I checked my inventory, hoping for a different car, but no luck.

I went in and got my 50 clams, then the game crashed and when I’ve gone back in my 50 clams are gone. Even ended Peters task and tapped on him but the clams are still gone 😦

Mildly annoyed that just this morning i dropped the clams for the Diner to get sundaes as I had none because of the glitch, then go back on to see they added the action for Quagmire… Oh well, still a cool building I guess.

The added quagmire task was added as an oversight balance. The ice cream only had one person able to collect along with the ridiculously low latcher stewie drop rate. You have three pesticides and potentially 5 other items dropping from latchers. Ice cream sundae drops are statistically equal to ‘epic’ items, if not lower. They just balanced it a bit. Its easier to add a task than to reassign values in a huge multi-drop algorithm.

Not if you zapped the latchers when mutant Stewie was respawning, which I and others have done. Also, it is not easier to add a task than reassign a value when doing code… Changing a value is dead easy (takes seconds).

Has the askgeeves building glitch been fixed too? It seems to have its own animation now instead of the comic books stores animations. I bought it the first day it was available luckily and it looks to be doing good now. Hopefully everyone else will have a chance to get it now.

The one in players games is working. But they are not ready to return it to the “cart” just yet, in fact, they will soon remove the Red Hot Lois task until it’s completing ready. This latest string of glitches put them behind on their punch list. 😉

Bunny quick question i finally got 50,000 blam and unlocked the Q hotel and placed it in my town but i have yet to see any nerds spawn out of it. i have had it for 3 hrs now would you happen to know the rate of nerd spawns. thank you.

Here is the posted rate, but you won’t see them spawn from the “new” Q. They still walk out from the main Comic Con area. It just speeds up the spawn rates. 😉

I only need 5 more 6 sided die and 4 more stereos and Felicia Day is mine. And for Blobulous I need 7 ice cream sundaes and with Quagmire being able to collect them now I will most likely have them before the end of the week. And then I will be bored once again until the next phase of the Comic-Con event lol.

If there was a glitch, they would have just fixed it and the sundaes would have dropped faster. It takes more code writing to create a new task for a character, than to fix a few lines on the drop rate parameters. 😉

Well, it could have been glitched before, and they could have added Quagmire’s task as a make-up after fixing a drop rate for either latchers, Peter, or both. Or people may have complained enough where they added a task for a pesticide-free character to make this portion of the event doable for non-premium players. Both are good reasons, I’m just curious as to which was the case.

No glitch. Much like headbands and eyeballs…ice cream was a lesser item to be dropped. Adding a task for Quagmire just gives another opportunity to get them.

I agree, both good reasons. I tend to lean toward player outcry. They have never shared the exact drop rate percentage with us (or any other sites for that matter) and I suspect they tweak it here and there to find the balance between player challenge and player outcry. We tend to see more outcry…lol 😉

This was quite nice. Just earlier today I dropped 90 clams to unlock blobulous (I got tried of waiting for 9 more sundaes). So with this I am only in the home 49 clams. Not bad to have another person collecting sprays.

My game still won’t load properly. It keeps crashing as soon as I start collecting my money and what not. I have deleted and reinstalled and I’m getting really mad because I can’t play! Is anyone else having this problem still? I’m playing on an iPhone 4s and I’m not having any other problems with apps crashing.

the 50 clams are nice, but the game is still glitchy. on my game, the blaze’s 24 hour task is locked out because i don’t have the ask jeeves building. but i do have the training center.
on another note, quagmire’s 12 hour task, drinking at the clam, now generates ice cream sundaes making it a little easier to free up blobulous.

I’m on iOS and have been waiting to update the latest version we got last week as I’m reading about all these bugs (I never had an issue). Is it safe to update now? Also would I need that update to get the new Quagmire ice cream task?

Yes, the iOS update is now safe. If it’s not visible, just uninstall and reinstall your game to load the newest version. Make sure it’s linked to your email or FB account. 😉

It’s the “Rupert Glitch”. During the Rupert mini event, for a few days, if you won Rupert early, you could build as many Salons as you wanted. TinyCo found out and sealed the hole with a patch fix. 🙂
