After going back and forth with some help from our amazing readers here, TinyCo was able to locate the link to the Red Hot Lois skin and the other Skins in Al’s clearing out all items collected while creating a costume.
This is the general breakdown of the issue. Al’s only allows ONE costume at a time to be made. Due to this, if you already have one being “created” (all items collected and now you are building it) DO NOT CLAIM/CREATE RED HOT LOIS WHILE ANOTHER COSTUME/SKIN IS BEING CREATED!! This causes an error as two skins try to complete at the same time. Yes, we know she is instant and not built, but somehow Al’s does not see this.
The resulting issue is that it will cancel out the Skin being built and EVERYTHING you collected will be zeroed out. So instead…just let her sit and wait until your Skin/Costume completes its build time and you have added it to your character. THEN, go ahead and go to the Comic Con link in the lower right corner and go collect Red Hot Lois.
Now to answer some questions before they’re asked.
Do I have to stop collecting Materials like Hams, Banana Peels, etc?
You can go on collecting items for Costumes just fine and collect her at the same time. It is ONLY at the “Creating” stage (timer is running down) that this is happening. So if you have…let’s say… 8/10 hams and are still collecting…this will not be impacted. (You can see the option to Create/Create Now is still there to tap. If you collected it all and instead see a countdown timer, that means the costume is being made and you need to wait to Claim/Create Red Hot Lois til it is completed.)
Does this impact any costume being built?
So far, YES! Any costume at Al’s you have just selected to be created (only one at a time) will be zeroed out if you try to Create it and Create Red Hot Lois at the same time.
So what do we do?
Watch your Blam! for when you win Red Hot Lois. If you just started to “Create” a costume, then choose the option of “Do It Later” to claim Red Hot. That, or if you know you are getting close to winning her within a few hundred Blam!, wait to “Create” any other Costume. It only takes a few seconds to Collect her and put her into the game.
So keep an eye out if you are close to getting her. Many of you may have just breezed by this with no problem and it won’t impact you. For those that DID run into this and lost items collected, please open a ticket right away with TinyCo so they can assist you.

I just ran into this glitch..only it says i claimed Red Hot Lois (i was crating cop Joe) but copJoe is still creating and i can;t find red hot Lois anywhere.

If you claimed her…she is in your inventory. Do NOT create her yet until Joe is done though. WAIT! We were told it was fixed, but I would rather take caution then test it.
Just to verify, when you say “create”, does that mean his timer is going and the skin is in progress to complete? Or do you mean you are still gathering parts for him. BIG difference in the two. If you are still gathering parts for him…then you CAN create Red Hot.

I just got red hot Lois and when I claimed her it’s showed me that I still needed two more costumes to the fabulous four (I’m pretty sure that’s what it’s called, not sure) and then at the bottom it shows the prize that I would get if I got all four (which is suppose to be clams) but it shows diamonds. I thought tiny co had fixed it already?

It’s still a texture glitch. They’ve fixed some and are working on fixing them all…however clams should still appear when collected 🙂

Hey I have an issue with something in my game. I have quagmire trapped in a building by latcher Stewie, the building it’s self is dark but latcher Stewie does not appear above the building just a checkmark like normal when the character is done the task but when I tap on the checkmark the zapper pops up and when I tap on the zap button my game freezes I’ve tried it both on my iPad and my android phone and the same thing happens and I’m unable to release quagmire and I need him now to go to the pharmacy to buy bombs. Any ideas of what I can do? thanks.

This is a known glitch that TinyCo is working on. Right now the work around is to wait 8 hours for the mutant to change buildings.

Still haven’t heard back about blobulous and the fact that I paid all those clams to get him… I believe that I did make those two at the same time but why haven’t they contacted me yet… 😦

I never got my Red Hot Lois outfit but I did earn it. It showed up last night as bunch of other goodies occurred at the same time. I have 36,602 Blam!, but the outfit is not at Al’s and not even in her list of costumes to make. “Girl on Fire Pt.1” has finished her swimming in trash and Felicia is unlocked, but when I tap on “Earn RHL Prize”, it just goes to the list of prizes and there’s a check as if I got it.
I already contacted Tiny.Co, so I don’t know what else to do.

She won’t be in Al’s. She goes right to your inventory. (Unless you have not claimed her yet, then…just tap on the Comic Con icon in the lower right corner to go into the prize area to claim her.)

I had the same issue, then I went into my inventory and she was there at the end, just clicked Create and got here and completed the task.

I love this page it’s so helpful, just wondering though when I kill giant stewie with the pesticides is the bonus only for the base reward? Cause if it’s not when I’m clearing out the nerds my BLAM! Isn’t being multiplied. Also would you suggest me do one of two: first of all my birthday is Sunday and I’m definitley getting itunes money and was thinking about getting clams. I was going to buy the $19.99 one so with that I was thinking get conswela and buzz killing ton and saving so I can get brain damaged horse. Then I would be down buying characters, opinion on this? Thanks. 🙂

The payout is ONLY on the reward. Nothing more.
My Suggestion on any in game purchases is make a list. The things you want in the game. Weigh the pros and cons of each item and find what would make YOU happiest. 😉

Just noticed they have added a battery pack of 48 for 500 clams to the game. Wonder if this is a hint to suggest we need more batteries for the new mutated stewie that is coming tommorrow? Waste of money if you ask me. I have 19 stored and that’s without buying any extra.

Early WTH? Let’s see… Tasks not sticking for Meg, Herbert, and Quagmire? Check. Batteries dropping but not adding to the battery count? Check. Zapper being used at over 4-hour intervals in order to save batteries, but intermittently battery count diminishing by one anyway as the zapper is used in this way? Check. Earning extra pesticides before 24-hr countdown to vanquish big Stewie expires, then vanquishing, only to see the new requisite amount of pesticides EQUALS the total of what you just earned, rather than the standard maximum amount – making the whole effort pointless? Check.
Is this what Ebola feels like? I’d pitch a fit. But who would listen? Besides, it’s not like I’ll give up the game even when it seems pointless. I’m a friggin addict.

Just an early wth. Still have 9 sundaes for Chris’ skin. Decided I was going to send Quagmire and Peter on their drop jobs one last time to see if I could get 1 more chance. No luck. Went to just spend 90 clams but,the clam purchase went from 90 to 133 wth!

I was seeing a very skewed cost for the Blam for his costume. I need 4 more sundaes, and as of this morning, my cost to complete the costume was 83 clams. I earned approx. 100 more Blam, which brought me over the 3000 spendable Blam, and it dropped to 40. Even at 2999 Blam, the costume would have cost 83 clams.

It all depends. The game tries to give more of a benefit to you for items. I think a discount in your favor is not a bad thing. 😉

Oh, I’m not complaining about a discount. I honestly wasn’t sure what the cost per sundae should have been, so I was surprised that 1 little Blam! would have cost me 43 clams. I ended up buying Cats & Mouses, and the same thing happened. 83 Clams to unlock the costume, kill a few more Stewies, and we’re back to 40.

Not really sure this is related but what happened to the prizes for zapping latcher Stewie? All I ever got was the first car. I’ve been waiting for the next run and saving batteries but I haven’t seen any new quest.

The second car challenge has a new quest, you have to beat Giant Stewie 5 times. It’s triggered when you get to part 2, 3 or some times part 4 of the “Enfant Terrible” quest line.

Oh…that makes sense…I’ve been saving up my pesticides to make sure I get the full 5x reward no matter which pesticide Giant Stewie throws at me.
With all the batteries I’ve saved, I should have no trouble getting the cars!

Finally, this insane obsession to get Blobulous without using clams has come to an end. I can actually get a decent nights sleep without waking up at various intervals to blast latchers or see if Peter dropped a sundae. Fortunately for the addict within me, however, a new batch of insanity is already percolating & should be ready in less than 24 hours now.

Has anyone else noticed the last couple days, when I send people on their task I go on to the next and I will see the one I just sent on a task walking around in town not doing anything. At first I thought maybe I hadn’t set it or made a mistake, but it’s happened a few times now so I know it’s not just my mistake. Anyone else having this happen?

Have seen this complaint a few times here and there. Some were closing the games right after assigning the task and it didn’t have time to auto save. Send a message to TinyCo and alert them that some tasks aren’t “sticking”. They will ask which character and which task. Was it an inside task or outside, etc.

The “Q” building is speeding up the nerd spawning and the “minion” factory isn’t activated yet. It will most likely help during phase 3. 😉

In my game, the Q building drops 2 yellow nerds at 2 a.m., 8 a.m., 2 p.m. & 8 p.m. EST – same cycle as the Q in the event area. Don’t know if the times are the same across games or not.
