Hey there Clammers. Figured I would hop on in to help clear up some questions Ewe keep seeing for the Quahog Comic Con event. So hang tight as I go through them all.
We are rounding down this fun and amazing event and many keep asking the same questions, so I am gonna tuck them all in here nice and tidy.
WHAT HAPPENS TO ALL THE CHARACTERS AFTER THE EVENT?
This is pretty much straight across the board for ALL Characters. As long as you have collected ALL pieces and parts for them, unlocked them/created them, and they are walking around in your Quahog…then they are yours to keep once the event ends. They will stay in your game permanently. Any unfinished go with the event. The ONLY exception to this is Iron Baby. He still needs all 20 of his Demonic Plating and all 10 of his Fusion Reactors, so if you collect them and complete Iron Baby Part 1…you can wait til the actual Stewie character is unlocked to continue this quest and build his suit.
WHAT HAPPENS TO THE QUESTLINES AFTER THE EVENT?
The ONLY two questlines we have been told will carry over are Rollocop Joe’s and Iron Baby and ONLY if you have them unlocked/parts gathered. ALL other questlines will come to a halt and disappear once the Quahog Comic Con Event goes.
WHAT IF I MISS A CAR IN THE COLLECTION?
If you missed ANY of the Cars during the challenge, there is no way to this date to get them again or to get the final bonus prize. You need to have collected ALL in order to get the Grand Prize Fabu-Jet.
WHAT ABOUT MAGAZINES AND MICROCHIPS?
They are falling at the rate they should be. There is really no more we can say then to keep making a suggestion to TinyCo to improve the drops and see if they make a change.
WHY ISN’T ROLLOCOP JOE WORKING FOR iOS?
We have been in constant contact with them on this since it launched. If you have unlocked Rollercop Joe on Android and pulled him back over to iOS, but have some issues…They are actually testing a fix for this as we speak, so hang in there in the meantime. Otherwise, he works as he should on Android products he was intended for.
WHY AREN’T DEMON PLATINGS DROPPING?
You should get one Demon Plating for every time you defeat Demon Stewie, if you are not let TinyCo know ASAP.
WHAT DO I DO WITH ALL MY EXTRA BLAM!, BATTERIES, AND BOMBS?
These items will go when the event goes, so it is best to use them prior to the ending if you can. If you want, hang on to them til the last day or two to see what else is left/introduced into the game…then use them all up.
I AM MISSING BUILDING(S), WHAT SHOULD I DO?
A patch is coming to correct the issue of buildings gone missing/deleted. Hang in there in the meantime. If a building is missing that is stopping you from continuing in the event…please email us your Player ID (menu, account, long number lower right corner. This is NOT the one on the front loading screen) and we will forward it on to see if it will help get it back sooner. familyguyaddicts@gmail.com

Yes, as long as you’ve started the first part of the questline.

I have ben killing demon stewy for a while with harpoons, probably over 30 times but i only started getting demon plating for the last 8 times, i should have enough for iron stewy but i dont.

Plating won’t start counting until you started the Iron baby questline. Prior to that it will appear but does not count.

Wait, so if I have Stewie unlocked right now, do I still get to collect the parts even after the event is gone?

No you still have to collect all the parts before comic-con ends (even those who don’t have Stewie have to do this). Iron Baby Pt. 1 must be complete to get the costume…even after the event ends.

You don’t. Once event is gone, just like every other event, that’s it. No more.

Hi all, love the site keep up the good work, I have a question about part of the update from last night. There is now 2 blam mystery boxes? Is there a difference between the 2? Do they give different prizes? I had a quick look to see if this has been mentioned elsewhere but couldn’t see it anywhere…

I have no robocop (probably explained by the fact that I’m in iOS) but also no iron baby? Is there something I have to have unlocked to get iron baby?

I’m currently trying to finish both the Rollocop and Stripper Bonnie costumes. I’m almost there with Rollocop (just one more microchip), but if I do finish that costume and continue on with that storyline, the rest of the 4+ days worth of tasks for the Rollocop quest will occupy Joe (and others), taking him away from my attempt to finish Bonnie’s costume — after all, Joe is one of only 3 characters able to drop the Heels, and one of those (Lois) is also needed for the Wax.
Question: If I finish the Rollocop costume but not the quests, I know I keep the costume, but what happens to the quests once Comic Con ends?

Only Iron Baby and Rollocop quests go on. The rest go with Con. You just have to have them unlocked to continue. (Iron Baby part 1 done)

What happens to the buildings that generate Blam? Will they leave coin after the event. Things like the Cephalopod Café, will that just drop XP now or will there be a coin substitute to replace the Blam it drops?

They should convert to dropping coins and xp.

I have collected all the cars and bus for the challenge but the plane never dropped into my inventory.
This is on iOS, is this a glitch or is there something extra to do to get the Fabu-jet ??

If you’re sure you’ve collected all 5 vehicles…and you’re not seeing the jet in your inventory best bet is to contact TinyCo about it. If it’s missing they’ll have to reinstate it into your game.

I collected all the cars for the event and the fabubus, but the plane never appeared, this is on iOS…is this a glitch or do I have to wait for the plane to make an appearance

It should have popped up and placed in your inventory. If you’re sure you have all 5 vehicles then definitely send an in game support ticket to TinyCo on it. They’ll have to look and see what happened.

What happens to an event building, such as the AskJeeves.com building, if it has not completed it’s build time when the event ends? Does it continue to build, go to inventory, or disappear?

I think as long as it’s being built you’ll be ok, you purchased it at that point and it’s in your town.

Is anyone else having an issue with the zoom function? My quahog is now an up close and personal affair, as it will no longer let me zoom out much at all (since the update). This slows me down on regular task finding as well as hunting Stewlies (as Loretta would say).

What about buildings? Which ones will stay and which ones will be gone?
I have all the ones needed to be purchased with Blam!, but what about ones needed with Clams, like Fat Kevin’s or The Deli? Will they stay?

ANYTHING linked with the event will go.

The only buildings that will vanish after event are that from event area. Every building that you bought (with blam or clams) or win during the event will remain in your town forever.
BTW. I hope that after the event to get Comic Con building for free, as they did with Museum and the Pyramid after Full Moon event.

Hello, first time post long time reader, love the site and all the great info you guys give us. I started my tasks for stripper Bonnie do you know if we will have to collect items for her new skin or just complete her new quest line? I like to have all skins and characters and was not sure if I should rush her two 12 hour tasks if I might have to start collecting items. Thanx 🙂

I mentioned on a post on the 24th about not getting the clams for completing a collection. I just thought I would let you in on the response from TinyCo. Here it goes…
Due to recent heavy Support volume, the TinyCo Community team is focusing resources on new tickets from the past seven days, emphasizing new bugs, recent content releases, and major issues. This focus allows us to tackle broad improvements that impact the user experience of all players.
However, as a result of this focus, we will be unable to answer your ticket. if your request is a billing issue, please reply to this message with the purchase details, and we’ll make sure it gets seen. If it is a crash issue, please let us know when the crash occurred, and we’ll make sure it gets fixed in an upcoming update. For all other issues, please search the in-game FAQ for new information, as we update daily.

Now keep in mind this is the second time I wrote in a ticket about this issue. The first time it was included in with several other bugs after a recent update. So I thought oh they just missed it when their first response had no mention of the missing clams. Now I think they are avoiding it intentionally. As a player that does occasionally buy clams I am much less likely to in the future after the poor customer service. Thanks for listening!

I understand how you may feel, I do just want you to know that was a VERY generic email sent out to all. It is due to many people were flooding them with hundreds of thousands of emails asking basic items like how do I make a road, how to I build something, where is my inventory. All these were taking away precious time and resources from those…like yourself…that REALLY needed the help and tech support. Due to this they did a complete “wash out”. Many companies do this. Old emails/questions are probably obsolete and long answered by now.
This is a way for them to start fresh and focus on REAL issues that need help and attention. Not simple FAQ’s that we or their FAQ section in the game can answer.
As they stated, if there is still concern…open a new ticket. That is exactly what I suggest doing. Your issue is one that is not simple and does need to be addressed. Just send a brand new message to them. Include anything else they asked for in the past and be as detailed as possible and they will get back to you. 😉

Now we have stripper Bonnie… so one of the 2 characters that need to “maybe” get microchips is taken out for 25 hrs. All the iOs users whining about not getting robo joe will soon be joined by Android users who also can’t get Joe. 🙂

Just had a screen pop up in-game for a Stripper Bonnie costume! So far she has three tasks to complete for the questline Lvl.1, two 12-hr and one 1-hr. Hopefully there isn’t too much to push through before we can unlock her, given the short time remaining in the event.

Can’t wait until the event ends. It has been fun, but I accomplished everything I wanted to. I can’t wait for my Quahog to be back to normal. And I also hope that Babs, Jillian, and Neil arrive to Quahog soon.

Someone at TinyCo is laughing at us. They KNOW how hard it is to get microchips and that only Bonnie and Felicia can do it. So who’s GENIUS idea was it to add a new questline to have Bonnie become “Stripper Bonnie” which is going to pull her away from getting microchips for at least a day?

Hi, I just had a Bonnie superhero questline pop up. I’m a little panicked due to the short time left in this event (and of course I have her Abusing Jacuzzi Jets in hope of a microchip for Rollocop, with 6 hours left on the task). You always soothed my panics before, can you help me stop freaking out over completing Bonnie’s new stuff? (please) (and thank you!) 🙂 (Yes, I understand there are real problems in the world)
