Hello There Clammers!
It’s nerd city in Quahog these days as the Comic-Con Event is upon us! As we wind down the final days of the event TinyCo has introduced a new costume into our games as a permanent reminder of the event….Mutant Stewie!
For 20,000 Blam, and NO stuff collected, you can have your own little minion running around Quahog long after Comic Con leaves town! So let’s take a closer look at the details behind the little minion….
Mutant Stewie arrives in Quahog via the Comic-Con Event. You’ll find him in your store available for purchase for 20,000 Blam! This is a full costume for Stewie, not to be confused with Giant Stewie in the Blam! boxes…that’s just a decoration. As a costume for Stewie, Mutant Stewie comes with a full set of tasks. However, he does not come with a questline.
If you do not currently have Stewie unlocked in your game you can still purchase Mutant Stewie. Once purchase he’ll be waiting in Al Harrington’s for you to create once you’ve unlocked Stewie! 🙂
If you do currently have Stewie you’ll be able to build him right away after purchase…he’ll take 10 minutes to create. However, no additional STUFF, outside of the 20,000 Blam!, will be required to create him.
IF you don’t currently see Mutant Stewie in your shop check to see if one of the following applies to you:
– You’ve completed the necessary Comic Con quests (Demon Child Pt. 5)
– You haven’t already purchased him
– You aren’t currently in the process of creating a costume
If any of the above is true for you…the costume will now show up in your store. (in the case of already creating a costume…once you’ve create the costume that’s currently occupying Al Harrington’s the Mutant Stewie one will return back to your store. This is just done as a precaution to prevent costumes from disappearing)
So now that we know HOW to unlock Mutant Stewie, let’s take a look at his tasks once he’s unlocked:

Note: Only 1 of his tasks is an outdoor task and it’s one we’re all familiar with…Squirt Ink…
Mutant Stewie can be difficult to find in your Quahog while Comic-Con is still going on…simply because he blends in with the other minions! So if you’re having a hard time finding him in your Tiny Quahog here’s a tip…go to Al Harringtons and go to Stewie’s Costumes. Select Mutant Stewie and hit Use Now. That will take you right to Mutant Stewie and show you his tasks. 🙂

Sadly I spent all my blam on the Boxes and I now have only half the required amount needed for the costume purchase. Sort sad when you think about it, but then again it isn’t needed like the Bonnie quest is.

I only have to defeat Mutant Stewie TWO more times, but I don’t have nearly enough harpoons to get him (I’m at the 30x streak so I need 25 each), should I spend my blam! on the Rupert boxes in the hopes that I get the harpoons I need? I only have just over 20,000 spendable Blam! and I wanted to get the Stewie costume, but I think Iron Baby would be more fun! My Mutant Stewie timer will end at about 11:20pm Eastern tonight, which is 20 minutes after the event ends!!!! 😥 Bad timing on my part last night! 😥 Do you think it will end right at 8pm PDT? Should I risk it? I’ll definately have enough harpoons to get the first two levels and get Iron Stewie this way…
I don’t want them to end it exactly at 8 though, and I don’t want to miss out on anything else just because I mismanaged my time yesterday!!!
What should I do?

Little bit frustrated that I’m never going to get mutant Stewie, I have 9000 blam, and my harpoons needs are outweighing my streak needs (they seem to favour every harpoon but the one I need!) So oh well, i just wish they’d allow it to be bought by clams, if you don’t have the blam, as I’d totally snatch it up.

Weird, right? The whole time, it always wanted blue (modern) harpoons from me. I had a surplus of over 100 of the others by the time the event ended.

I still haven’t gotten a blam! refund from the fusion reactors. I’ve been waiting for a refund all week. What do I do.

The game keeps crushing all day on iOS (works well on android) is anyone else having problems today?
Also, I have close to 300,000 Blams I plan on spending before the event is over – is there any indication from tinyco if another surprise is in store?

No indications but you never know…I know page 7 will be released today. My plan is to wait until about an hr before it ends and go on a shopping spree.

Yeah my game has constantly been crashing the last few days on my iPhone 5. Thought it was my connection at first but other apps work fine. It’s getting so bad, I wanna punch Consuela when she pops up twenty times in a row! I wanna hold out spending my blam until we know for sure there’s no surprise purchases but I’ll be really pissed if their server locks me out again at the last hour of the event.
Otherwise I must say I love this game. I learned about it through real comic con and it has been a blast. I consider myself a freemium player except for the two in-quest purchases because I got so annoyed they kept showing up in my task list, I just wanted to get them away. I made an exception for BC and NF because I wanted to complete my characters and they’re only available for a limited time. Everytime I tap NF and he blurts out “Hodor”, I’m in stitches. That never gets old. I never, ever thought I’d get GT but I did and I’m so happy because now the empty outline won’t mock me on FaceSpace.
The only frustrating thing is that towards the end if the game through the blam boxes I’ve obtained more batteries than I could possibly spend in the time remaining and the random algorithm for harpoons seems to be preferring always the harpoons I have the least of. What am I gonna do with hundreds of batteries and high tech harpoons? Wish there was a way to trade in stuff today. But kudos to TinyCo and the addicts here for pulling off an awesome event – though I’ll be glad to see the minion stewies go! LOL
I’m completely hooked on the game now and looking forward to clearing district 7 and 8 if the regular game.

I have RolloCop and he’s on his 24hr task. (My last requirement of part 6. Everything else for it is done. But he won’t complete the task until after end time.) Will the quest continue after 3pm tomorrow so I can finish it, or will it go away? Thanks!

Also, I blew all my blam! on the boxes… will be so bummed if there’s added content in the last few hours! Debating on using clams to speed up harpoon tasks to build up my blam! again, but wanted to use them on buildings, like the Chutes and Lads. Didn’t need it by the time it became available, but I MUST HAVE IT. 🙂

Once the event ends his questline will leave the game as well. However, Rollocop will stay in Quahog as long as you’ve built him.

Thanks, Alissa! I can appreciate how busy you guys have been with this event. I know I’m not alone when I express how grateful I am for all of your updates, information, insight, tips, suggestions and humor! You guys always find a way to add some humor to your posts.
I’m debating on using clams to finish his task, but that would only be to get a bit more blam to spend on the boxes for a chance at clams. Part of my brain says that doesn’t make much sense, lol. 😉
Anyway, hope ya’ll get a little break after this huge event. Wishing you, Bunny, Cybersilly, all the Addicts team and players and beautiful Monday…. and a successful end to ComicCon! 🙂 ♡

Hey guys. I know this isn’t the right place, but has anybody else noticed fat we still don’t have the last page of the comic? As in, when u click on the trophy icon to see your progress in Blam!s and everything, when you click on the journal, it still says 6/7. The event ends today, sep/8, so is there gonna be something esle popping up at the last minute? What is that all about?
Ps. I’ve unlocked everything a freemium player possibly could so i know I’m not behind on anything

I bought Mutant Stewie. I am afraid to use him right now because I will definitely lose him in the Stewie minions. I could always bomb the area first and the Stewie left standing is MY Stewie. lol

Really loved this event and I am happy with what I have. Still wondering if there will be another update tomorrow.
Just wondering though, is it normal to get 8 clams from the blue shirt nerds within 2 hours? This has never happened to me before.

I am so ready for this event to be done with! I’ve earned every prize, got all the costumes, built every available blam building, won all the mystery box prizes, have all the characters (hell, I got Takei weeks ago), finished all the quest lines, and still have an extra 60k blam im holding onto til tomorrow to see if they drop another mystery box. I’ve got 350k coins sitting there not being used and I’m ready for district 9! This event was amazing but I’m ready for it to end. This blog has been great for everything and I check in on it daily!

Yea 15 hours to go and I have about 550k coins and those harpoons are killing me i have so much old timey and futuristic but barely any modern harpoons

Woohoo!!! I have all the superheros including how. Also bought the minion stewie outfit. And without clams being involved I just finished gathering everything for Bonnie’s strippersuit. I did use about twenty clams rushing a few of her tasks so I could get started collecting faster but I collected everything in just a couple days!! And I know they extended it but even if they didn’t im one of the few that would have gotten her! Lol sorry I just had to get it out. Exciting moment!!

I only played with mutant stewie for a hot min. He has been off carving harpoon since forever… he is so super small, I can only imagine own difficult it would be to find with all the other baddies around!

The whole harpoon game has turned out to be kind of a joke. The randomizer tends to favor one harpoon type over another
For example, whenever I task a character to get a modern or old harpoon, I’ll usually end up getting a futuristic one instead – if that option exists. If I’m trying to harpoon Stewie, the randomizer then seems to favor modern or old harpoons and ignores the futuristic ones.
Currently, I’ve got somewhere in the neighborhood of 100-200 futuristic harpoons. The game likes to give them to me, but rarely gives me the option to use them. It REALLY makes getting streaks of Blam pretty tricky. More often than not, I’ve had to wait out the clock. Modern and old harpoons just don’t fall as often for me.
No way I’m going to be able to get the new Stewie costume. I’ll MAYBE have just enough to get Takei’s building, but that’s it.
On an oddly positive note…
I was actually surprised at how much Blam I was able to accumulate since the beginning. I had largely assumed that I’d barely make it to 90k by the event’s end. It was rough going early on. However, by tomorrow, I’ll be much closer to 250k instead. I wonder if, perhaps, Tiny Co should have maybe included 150k, 200k, and 250k prizes too. Give how attainable Blam has been in this event, those goals would have been fairly doable.
On another note….
Isn’t it fairly odd (and annoying) that the celebrities have barely any Facespace posts? You’d think that, in their quest lines, that Tiny would have written more posts for them. Takei has absolutely none and the rest just have one a piece. I don’t know if that’s bad writing or just bad planning. Either way, even something that small would help to better flesh these trophy characters out. Shame that they didn’t do that.

I spent all mine on the blam boxes not realizing the Mutant Stewie was a costume vs the Giant Stewie I already had – now I cannot get mutant Stewie 😦

I have 40,000 blam left and don’t know what to use it on. Been waiting all weekend in case they added a last minute item, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.
Thinking about the stewie outfit, but i’ll probably never use it, and you can hardly see stewie so who cares. I have all the blam box prizes, but might the rest on those in hopes to get clams. And I have all the buildings that cost blam, but wouldn’t mind a couple extra Jeeves or Fab4 buildings just because they look nice. I dunno
I wish Robo Stewie’s mystery box wasn’t such a complete ripoff or I’d open a couple of those. I like a few of the prizes but there’s absolutely no way I’m risking 180 clams for 1000 blam or some bombs…

At this point would either of you say it’s safe to burn through remaining blam? I can’t really see them adding something new at this point without pissing a lot of people off (and they’ve shown by now they’ll go out of their way to keep people happy). I know my chances are low with the boxes, but any chance at some free clams is something I want to take.

Finished Bonnie tonight & cashed in 20,000 blam! To get the clams I needed to get her stripper pole. Still got 150,000 to spend before tomorrow @ 6 p.m. The only thing I won’t be able to finish before the event ends is the Rollojoe quest line. Oh well. Been a great event all around & ready to move on now.
Thanks for all yr help ladies. The maze strategy proved invaluable in racking up mad quantities of Blam! among yr many other pieces of advice & information.

Eh, if the only outdoor task is squirt ink, this is just something to have for completion sake. I’m long past the point where coins mean anything to me, so if it can’t amuse me on the the streets of Quahog, it will never get used. Not that squirting ink isnt amusing just that Iron Baby is more fun.

I bought the mutant Stewie costume as well as completed Iron Baby Pt. 1 even though I don’t have Stewie unlocked. I don’t see either costume at Al Harrington’s or in my storage. Is this normal? Will they show up there automatically once I unlock Stewie?

When you unlock Stewie they’ll appear in Al Harrington’s. For now they can’t appear because you don’t have Stewie unlocked…so his costumes aren’t an option in Al’s

Side note: Halloween is coming soon and I never heard back from TinyCo. about the possibility of getting Stewie’s Duck Costume. I really hope they decide to do it.

Despite my whining and complaining I have managed to complete almost everything in this event. I got all of the Fab Vehicles, I unlocked GT last night and I am 1 piece of armor away from getting Iron Baby. This is the last thing I really want. I have about 24 hours to score 2,800 Blam. Really kicking myself for wasting Blam on a mystery box before I realized what this was. Think it is doable? I have none of the premium buildings.
I am going to be short by a few hours on the Fab 4 story line though. I am up to where they have to spend 24 hours Googling crime alerts. Decide to focus on getting harpoons rather than reading the story. Hope it was not a mistake.

I did it! I saved up enough Blam to get Mutant Stewie last night. Saving up now for either mystery boxes or maybe some deco or buildings. It does worry me that the only thing showing I got both of Stewie’s costumes (since I am no where near unlocking him yet) is one message in game. Wish they would show up in the clothing store or something.
I have never really done one of the events in this game before. Do they usually end right on time or can you squeeze a little more time out like in TSTO?

They’ll show up in Al’s as soon as you unlock Stewie. Right now Stewie’s not showing up in Al’s…as soon as he’s there you’ll see the costumes too. 🙂
According to TinyCo this one will end at 3pm PDT. It might be a few minutes later, but I wouldn’t bank on it 🙂
