Update 11:00pm EDT: Looks like Kool-Aid Man is back in the game! You now have 24hrs to finish collecting him. This MORE than makes up for the time glitch many were experiencing. Good Luck!
Update 2:40pm EDT: Per TinyCo: “There was a bug that caused him to end at local time, rather than PDT. We’re looking into bringing him back for 24 hours, so players can finish him.”
They’re working on it…for now if you’ve experienced this glitch and haven’t yet reported it…send in an in-game ticket so they know exactly who is impacted.
Oh and Kool-Aid Man is now Voiced!!!!

Busting in with a quick glitch report that MANY of you are reporting on…the Kool-Aid Man’s Quest is GONE! 
According to many of you the ability to unlock Kool-Aid Man has disappeared from your game.
Not Kool. Not Kool AT ALL!
So here’s the deal…Yes, Kool-Aid Man was supposed to end today (9/30). BUT he was supposed to end at 3pm PDT, which is in (just under) 9hrs from now. However, it seems there’s been a timer glitch in many games causing him to disappear at 3pm local time NOT PDT. So if this is the case for you…report it to TinyCo. (info on contacting them here)
Bunny and I have also reported this to TinyCo (we reported this last night…as soon as our New Zealand friends started reporting the quest ending), so as soon as we hear something back on it we’ll let you know. In the meantime, it’s important that if you’re experiencing this glitch to report it to TinyCo as well. They need to see the reports coming from multiple places and not just us. So make sure you send in the support ticket….

Why can’t chris search for a job? Is he to smart for it?? Now I have the kool aid guy quest just sitting there waiting for Chris to get of his buttox and get going with aplying for a job but he can’t do it? Whyy? I don’t wanna ser that quest no more..

I just got Kool-aid man for free. I think its a glitch. I look in the shop, and there were a bunch of new items, including some event costumes (forklift Peter, pink Brian, New Year’s Brian), some characters and buildings from districts I haven’t gotten to yet (Olivia in Olivia’s house and Pawtucket Pat in Pawtucket Mansion), the Hooker Peter costume (which I already have), 2 golden pools (one costing coins, the other costing clams) and “Da Boom Box” with Kool-aid man, which was free, so I got it. After placing it, I unlocked Kool-aid man just by tapping him, as though I had collected everything needed to unlock him. I started the game in December, which was months after his event ended.

edit: I am on Android, so I don’t think the golden pool is even supposed to be available for me. I also saw the Tom Tucker mystery box.

heey for some reason Bonnie and peter are stuck on the same page, i open the quest as there’s a ” ! ” on it and i wont load the quest up what do i do?

Off topic here, but my account was reset from level 39 to level 1 last Friday. When I connect to Facebook now, it tells me my level is still 1, even when trying to log in on a different device. I sent an ingame ticket the same day before I was stupid enough to try the uninstall/reinstall route. Now, my support ticket is gone within the game, but I am hoping TinyCo still got my message. I also sent them an e-mail explaining my problem and included my Player ID, but I have yet to receive any information from them. I wrote on their Facebook page, and from the other posts there, I have seen at least 8-9 others who have experienced the same thing. Seeing as none of us have gotten any reply from TinyCo about this, I am hoping that maybe you, Alissa or Bunny, may know anything about this or get any info from TinyCo regarding this issue. Thanks for giving us a great site and community with many great hints and information for us fellow Clammers. 😀

All I can suggest is this, try to go into your Facebook account (if that is what you had linked to the game) and log it out of your device. Restart your device. Then log your device back in to YOUR account you use for the game. Then launch the app and when prompted, go to menu and “sign in as someone else” then select Facebook option. See if when it pulls up the account if it says that its the game you are missing on the correct level.
As far as Facebook, it is NOT monitored by tech support. Not at all. So NEVER go there to get help on an issue. You can report it and they just compile the info and pass it on as a trending issue. But FB is NOT a place to get support for the game. Use the proper channels of in game, email, etc to report the issue so it goes right to their tech team and isnt lost in the sea of junk that is FB.
I will ask around myself to see if this is a known issue going on.

Thank you for your reply and suggestions, Bunny. 🙂 Unfortunately, it didn’t work. I used Facebook to link my game, but when I try to log in now, it tells me “This Facebook account is not yet linked to any save”. Having read the FAQ, I know not to link the current save (level 1) or to start a new game. Will I just have to wait for TinyCo to contact me? Since my ingame ticket is gone due to me deleting and reinstalling the app, do you know if I’ll still be able to receive and read their reply? It just sucks so hard to not be able to play the Halloween event. I’m a huge fan of both FB and GB, so this event looks really fun, and I’m missing out. 😦 Again, thank you so much for replying. I just hope I’ll be able to get my game back.

I would recommend starting an email correspondence with your Player ID letting them know you can’t get anything from the game messages now.

Thanks again, Bunny. 🙂 I sent them an e-mail on September 26. I’m hoping they’ll get to me soon. I keep reading their FB page just to see if there are more users that have the same problem, or if TinyCo has posted any info, and I see more people with the same issue every day. That’s why I feel this is something they should address on their FB page or Twitter, just so we know that they are aware of the problem and are doing something to fix it. Fingers crossed it gets resolved quickly. 😉

Had all the items for Kool Aid man before the original timer ran out (used some shells to make sure I had them all in time) then kool aid man vanished as did the radio only to reappear and say that I had 2 days to collect all that crap again… Seriously that’s BS might wanna get their stuff together and I’m not spending another time till it gets fixed…

Had all the pitchers required before the original timer finished but was sho rt on ice cubes. Now the new timer started and lost 13 pitchers. Got all my ice cubes Now, but with just under a hour left I’m going to be 6 pitchers short… Redonkulous…

Had all of the pitchers before the 24 hours started. But didn’t have enough of the ice cubes. The 24 hours restarted and I was missing 13 pitchers.I got my last ice cube a few hours ago, Now about an hour left and going to be 6 pitchers short. Redonkulous…..

I just finished the collecting of the items to unlock Koolaid man and i have 7h 50m left on my 24 hour time clock and it wont open him up though i have collected everything and the radio is now gone please help me fix this.

Did you check your inventory? See if the Boom Box that he comes with that you get to keep is there?

I unlocked Kool-Aid man a few days ago. I’m now on the Kool-Aide quest line, pt. 7 which requires the sk8 park. Sadly it’s no longer in the store so my quest is just hanging.
This just doesn’t seem right – either the item should still be available, or the quest line should close at this point. Just leaving players in limbo is not kool!
Anyone know if this is as intended or a glitch?

The original quest and all the items were set to end no matter where you were. I think they only brought back the ability to finish creating him as the items themselves were there for purchase the entire time. Sorry.

If you have unlocked the kook aid man and he doesn’t show up anywhere go into the shop and click on the mini stewie figure and scroll to the end there is the kook aid man and it will say “kook aid man in boom box, and it will say the cost is free

I would send TinyCo an in-game message to let them know. However, make sure you check behind buildings etc to ensure it didn’t fall and you just aren’t seeing it.

is anyone else still collecting items for sexy stewie? i finally unlocked stewie 2 days ago and have begun getting drops of baby powder, music notes and something else i can’t recall. i know i missed the chance to get sexy stewie by a week and i know others were still dropping items for him that can’t be used.
so is the fix out there and i am the only one? (i’m up to date and have uninstalled/reinstalled) or is it still common for others. it’s really odd to me since i did not start the quest at all and was a week late to even have stewie in game. my concern is that whatever even is coming for halloween could be hampered with items dropping for stewie instead of what i need for the new event.
any thoughts? i have sent TC an in game message 2 days ago and have not heard back.

No it’s a texture glitch going on right now. Stuff still falls even if you’ve unlocked him or haven’t (since he’s no long available)

so it won’t interfere with any new items we will have to gather in the future? would just hate for one task to drop multiple items and not need one of the items, would miss out on items actually needed this way and as we know often it’s hard enough to get certain items to drop at times.

It shouldn’t impact anything. If you feel it is, let TinyCo know. The Halloween event coming may wipe out the last of the remnants from it.

I am so confused? Do I have to refind the boom box before the tasks come back? Peter or Lois do not show any kool-aid related tasks. Am I too late? It’s 11am here in PDT.

if the Boombox hit your town the tasks should reappear…if you aren’t seeing them contact TinyCo and let them know you’re still having problems with it.

I think they only made it so players could still get Kool Aid, not the decorations. As they were there for purchase the entirety of it. Sorry.

I had the boom box reappear. I was well excited with only 2 more items to get!
The problem was that Chris’s quest to apply for a job reappeared too. As I sent him to do a long quest the night before, I managed to get the Kool aid man before I could send Chris to complete the apply for job quest.
Once I got the Kool aid man the boom box disappeared again, Kool aid man was there, all looked fine and dandy. However I just went on now and Chris has now finished the apply for job quest – which seems to have glitched the game again and kool aid man is gone 😦 So is boom box. I still have the timer going to the Kool aid man quest but when I press go to go get him nothing happens.
Very disappointing 😦

I found the Stereo back last night but had to start over with the Koolaid Man from scratch. Then I read in the FAQ’s that for some players the completed Stereo had been sent to their SHOPPING CART where it was labeled free. So I clicked on it and added it to my town, which stopped the timer countdown, that just disappeared. Then I spent a lot of clams on the quests to speed them up to finish them because I couldn’t see the timer anymore and wanted to make sure I completed the quest on time to keep KoolAid man. I get to Part 7 where I have to place the Sk8 Park. Lo, and behold! All featured items were GONE. I cannot place the SK8 Park and cannot finish the quest. After all the glitches with this entire quest line, I’m very skeptical about any further Halloween updates. I’ve already reported everything to TinyCo. I can only hope that they allow me more time to finish the quest, but I’m not too hopeful since they’ve already extended it once.

Keep in mind, the quests have NOTHING to do with keeping a character. Once a character/skin is actually in your game, roaming around, and can be used for tasks…it is live in your game and yours to keep. Whether or not the quests complete do not matter. The items were available for purchase during the release. It was only an issue with Kool Aid himself unlocking, so they only brought him back.

First, hard close and reopen your game. If that still doesn’t work…Contact TinyCo and let them know it’s missing for you.

It annoys me a little that I (and many others) reported the timer issue to TinyCo but instead of fixing it they hid the timer. A object lesson in root cause analysis I guess. 5 Whys method would be very applicable here I think…

What do you mean the hid the timer? When it was working the other day? They didn’t hide it to be malicious…they hid it because they were attempting for fix it. In the past when they pull the timer out it tends to fix the timing glitchs….that’s all that was an attempt to fix it. Which is why now it’s a 24hr countdown clock and not based on a specific end time.

I mean they removed the display of the timer from the missions, but clearly it was still counting down somewhere in the background… I know they did it with the best of intentions, I was just commenting on how common an IT problem it is to go for the “obvious” or “worked last time” solution without being sure that it has addressed the real root cause. Especially if that option masks the symptoms somehow ….
I wasn’t impacted anyway as I was in the game enough to complete it before the local time expired. I did report the end time discrepency between the splash screen and the mission timer though and got a response that the timer was “Incorrectly describing the end time” – I guess it was correctly describing the incorrect end time 🙂

My very first question! First of all thanks for all your hard work, it really is much appreciated!
So after getting Kool Aid Man I now have 36 characters in my game but my friendspace is showing 34/34. When I visit a friends town, theirs is showing as 35 on the little info card in the corner.
Is this a glitch or am I missing something?

35 characters in all. You’re probably not seeing either a premium character or Mayor West. But there are 35 total.

However my character count is still showing as 34/34? Interestingly, Mayor West and Kool-Aid Man both have blank FaceSpace pages when I click on them. Is this the reason why there is two missing from the counter?

Was happy when they brought the quest back as I only needed to get one more jug, now the same thing happened again the boom box disappeared with 19 hours left on the quest.
