Update 7:05PM EDT: Just got word from TinyCo that they ARE working on this as I write this. So hopefully it’ll be fixed soon. However, still send in those tickets so they know exactly who is impacted.
A note on a few other glitches popping up:
Fragrance Factory- If it’s still crashing for you report it to TinyCo it has to get escalated to engineering. It can (and will) be fixed, but is on a case by case basis. There won’t be one massive update that fixes it. So you MUST send in a ticket so they can fix it for you. They are working on an update to repair as many impacted as possible, just please still hang in there while they continue to focus on the issue and get it resolved. Allow them the proper time to get this done. You still need to send in a ticket as it does help a LOT with the troubleshooting process to see actual games that are experiencing it.
Facebook Accounts/Disappearing- IF you use Facebook to log on to TQFS and you’re having issues with your account disappearing and/or your friends disappearing. Contact TinyCo. They can fix this but you’ll need to contact them so they’ll know exactly who is impacted and they’ll be fixing these on a case by case basis as well. So you MUST send in a ticket so they can fix it for you.
Hello There Clammers!
Many of you are reporting that after you’ve cleared a certain number of Terror Dogs no new ones are spawning for you. The portal says they’re coming but they never appear.
If you’re experiencing this glitch contact TinyCo via your in-game messaging system (more details on how to here) and let them know you’re impacted as well. We’ve contact them about it as well, and as soon as we have any more info on it we’ll pass it right along.
For now be sure to report it to TinyCo so they know you’re impacted, and they can see how widespread it is.

It’s December and I still can’t click the factory without it crashing my app. I collected more than enough cologne bottles but it says I’ve got 0/5 and I can’t make it past the wild wild west part 4.

Have you tried tapping it from the menu or task bar instead? Bypass the actual factory.

I tried that and made the tiniest amount of progress, but now there’s a check above the building that I can’t get rid of because it crashes the app

Sorry. There was a patch sent out when the issue was around months back to fix it. So all I can suggest is reach out to them directly from your game and let them know you are having the issue.

Like I said in my last post im having bad luck, my terror dogs are all gone. I would have added this in my other post but it was a different subject. Anyways they have not spawned for at least 8 hours. Where this was a glitch going on weeks ago, is it still happening? What do you suggest for this?

My suggestion is the same then as it is now, mine are spawning in all 3 test games and haven’t stopped. So if there is an issue, let them know directly from your game. Every time we reported it, they looked into it.

My son can’t log into his family guy game due to some child fingerview not found. Not sure what this is or what happened. Can anyone please help? He does not have a Facebook page and he is using an older Samsung Galaxy phone that has no service but gets WiFi.

Every time I open the game, the following message appears
“Error: Child name finger view not found.” Once I press okay, it proceeds to load again and once it loads, the same message appears. Faulty update?

Just give them time to respond. They approach each ticket in order received and coming off a weekend that list can be longer than usual as there is not really anyone in to go through them on weekends.

I want to buy clams so I can get Predator. When I go to clams screen instead of prices it says “wait”, when I click the buy button it says “please wait we fix”. Is this a known glitch? I’d like to but this weekend so I can get the extras for buying clams right now.

I have looked through all the glitches that they are working on. One of the solutions was to send them a ticket to make sure they know who is impacted. I have tried this! I have contacted them more than once. Multiple times online and multiple times through the in game messenger as well. Still no response. I’m losing hope on this game and just want to delete it. I was level 35 then I got a new phone and I lost all my progress. I have went through the steps online and this still has not fixed the issue.

First, let me commend you for your work with this blog. It adds to my enjoyment of the game. It appears to me that there may be a glitch again with the terror dogs. I have not seen one spawn in the last 12 hours. I am currently zapping the last available one. The portal is showing ghosts as the next spawn. I have contacted TinyCo, waiting for a response. I was just wondering if this glitch is widespread, or is it just luck of the draw?

What is the re-spawn time for the Terror Dogs supposed to be? I just cleared my first 2 (my lost connection glitch was fixed 🙂 ) So now I’m on the 3 days to get the Ghostbuster’s sign quest and it tells me “no terror dogs available” Check the portal to see when more may appear, but the portal doesn’t tell me when lol. Is this the terror dog glitch everyone is talking about? It’s only been about 15 minutes since I’ve cleared the first 2, I just want to know how long the re-spawn time is.

That is impossible for us to tell you as it varies by player. Both ghosts and dogs use the portal, so you just have to keep an eye on it and see when it says dogs are coming out again.

I’m in the same boat as some others where terror dogs have stopped coming out after I have cleared 25 of them. I need 5 more for Diane. Hopefully tiny co will get back to me shortly with some help!!!

If the Terror dogs don’t show up, I won’t get Diane Simmons. I unlocked her before reading the tip to wait for ghostbuster Peter, and I figured I would just barely have enough time if the Terror dogs kept showing up, but they aren’t appearing even though the portal says they will. I sent in a ticket this morning to TC but what will happen if they don’t fix it? I’ve only got less than 2 days to get Diane, and it’s impossible without the terror dogs! What do I do now?

when my game crashed after starting it and playing for say 1 minute, It used to also crash after visiting friends, found a simple uninstall re-install updated the game and it is now fairly smooth. One goof I have is I got a dancing Stewie pop up for one brief moment, collected all the stuff but don\t see the costume. Might this stuff just allowed the Gene Kelly task? on Ice cream android.

FoR FOUR DAYS IN A ROW I got NO CANDY and lost Pink Brian. Now, when I go to other towns, the game crashes, spits me out, and doesn’t accumulate $$. Plus, it makes me log into FACEBOOK each time I go into other towns, especially when it crashes. I feel as though I am playing in one big loop with no progress.

Terrordogs seem to work fine for ne but i stumbled across another one i couldn’t find around here:
If i place a deco it does not cost vials, but also doesn’t generate frightpoints.
This can be reproduced like this:
Place some decos, remove them by placing them into the stash.
When i now buy new decorations they See free to place, but don’t produce fp.
To get all working again you have to place all bought decorations and buy new ones…
Don’t have the Time to pin it down exactly but this happened to me when i had my Orange and red flowers and all of my vial only decos (the ones to the left from the flowers at the buyingmenu) stashed and tried to buy some yellow ones for a fp increase

Are the FP not showing at all on the screen? Like the image for them is missing? Sometimes the game needs a bit to catch up. Force closing app/ restarting device helps.
If after troubleshooting the issie still is there, you should let TinyCo know.

Did the normal Troubleshooting stuff and already contacted tinyco before posting here…
Basically my theory about it the Game thinks you are placing from Insider you stash instead buying new ones…
So the payment process is simply not triggered and thats why you get the item free but without fp…
Yeah thought about that catching up thing top but left the Game opened for about 15 min and it dien’t happen….
Anyway: in case someone else gets annoyed by it:
Simply keep placing your decos back to town until it World again…

Just crosschecked:
As Soon as i stash a Halloween deco and buy some new ones the bug occures… The stashed items get used for placing, but it is not checked if all stashed items are used and new ones are bought resulting in free items

Every time I open the game after about 1 minute or a series of clicks the game just crashes and loses the progress from that 30 seconds/1 minute.
I have tried clearing loads of uneeded items into my inventory but it is still happening.

hmm..if you can, contact TinyCo and let them know what’s going on. More than likely they’ll have to go in and see what’s going on with your game. This is a new one for me, first I’m seeing of it.

According to the ingame FAQs you can clear the terror dogs two ways, have GB Peter zap them or tap them but when I tap the dogs it takes me to GB Peter’s task so in reality I can only clear then one way. Makes no sense to call it two ways.

does anyone know how long it takes before they do anything about the fragrence factory force close, I sent a message to them Friday and they said they knew about the issue, and they have done nothing… This is my first major glitch and it is a very upsetting one… And reading that they are not going to push a patch makes it even worse

Actually…re read the post. As more and more players wrote in…it helped. They are now working on a larger scale patch…BUT it will take time to test it. Just hang in there and focus on Halloween for now while they do what their techs need to to isolate it all and test a patch to resolve it.

I have emailed TC through my game twice about the Facebook connection being gone and still nothing is fixed! I downloaded the update on Saturday and have been locked out since then!

Patience. It’s a widespread glitch they’ve got A LOT of support tickets to go through. I know it’s insanely frustrating waiting, but that’s the only thing that can be done at this time.

Not sure if any other people are having this glitch. One of my friends and I can’t load each others town and the game crashes. Doesn’t do it for any of my other friends, including one who is still showing comic con. I sent a ticket in to TC. I tried basic troubleshooting and still nothing.

I have done a bit of trouble shooting on my end. Not sure if this is the cause for you. If the friend is zapping a terror dog you can’t get into their town. I now can only get into towns were there is no zapping is happening. Now I just don’t know how to fix it. I sent an updated ticket to TC as well with my findings this morning
