Family Guy Addicts 
So, I am bored. I was just on another site and took a couple quizzes. The first was about horror movies, nailed it. The second was about geography, not as well as I hoped 14/18. But that’s not what bothered me. I realized how old I am not only because of the changes since the soviet union broke up and how many countries are formed and the name changes in Africa, but because my first thought was “holy crap, playing where in the world is Carmen Sandiego would be very hard and it would take forever”.

Iam done with this game due to lack of room iam brewing no more buildings I have all costumes and chacters tho including weed I was just wondering I have played since the beta so I own the chicken coop and other stuff however I noticed on my new friends town he has a special dad sign and a Hartman house I personally can’t remember these and all so on the official fgqfs tinyco page the for mentioned sign is there outside griffin house and also a boat. Inever saw the boat either. On a upside a requested the wicked glitch louis it’s awesome and so want one as well as u to in my game to witch I also mentioned

FYI those games where you’re seeing that…those are more than likely hacked or modded games.

Coz I can’t fit no more buildings or decos but it’s still an awesome game and am still addicted lol and oh! Hacking is bad it takes enjoyment from it don’t see the point myself but tinyco has them to on there page

Only issue is my game is sometimes worse than overly attached girlfriend. I’ll leave the game after tapping on everything I can, and not 5 seconds later I get a notification that only says come back. 😛

I feel that premium characters should have tasks that allow the acquisition of items quicker than their stock counterparts. And what about Costumes? We work hard to get those costumes sometimes. Allow us to use those costumes to nab some items at a quicker rate than the default costumes. I think that would be bitchin’, yo!

We need a Nuke Quahog option. A small animation of a Nuke comes on screen and destroys your town, thus placing everything in your inventory so you do not have to manually do it. Now you can rebuild from scratch.

I think it would be fun if they changed up the theme song to match the event, a spooky hint to it for Halloween, alien sounding for comic-con, jingle bells or or something for Christmas. the same theme song only “tweaked” a little! And…those annoying little ToT’s, I wish you could tap them just to make them squeak!

Anybody else’s terror dog spawn rate borked? I have seen 1 in 6 hours. I had no problem with running out of them until now. No problems with the banshees. Also seems like the ghost spawn rate has decreased recently.

What’s your fright level? The higher it is the more often they spawn.

All of Bunny’s reminders in the other thread about not having too many tasks on your taskbar made me wonder: What is the oldest un-completed (as in not even started) task on your bar? Mine is the Iron Baby part 5 task, technically held over from the Comic-Con event. It’s 24 hours (for him to audition for the Fabulous Four) and he’s just been too busy ever since I unlocked him. Just curious what everyone else might have lingering on their taskbar. 🙂

Ha, great question! I still need to send Peter to drink at the Clam for two separate quests, the USS Gossip and Peters of the Caribbean. And I also have that Fattest Loser ground punch one to do. I can’t seem to find the time to pull him off event or character unlocking tasks long enough to wrap these up!

I have the same two with Peter drinking at the clam.
One thing TinyCo could do is remove the reminders to buy Alien and Predator to free space. I know they are in the game from the days a banner popped up announcing them.

I’m a premium player and I don’t mind spending real money on items and characters, but it’s a bit disappointing knowing those premium characters (those only purchasable by clams) will only serve purpose during their native event. Take Bryan Cranston for example. No problem shelling (pun intended) out what equates to 7 or 8 bucks on him, but would it kill them to give him a task that helps, just a little, on future events? Everyone else with a bomb task does it in 4 hours. Give him an 8 hour bomb task. It’s not much, but it’s something. I purchased the Predator and Alien characters. No issue there. They help for Halloween, but I just wish that they would help in some tiny way during a possible Christmas event. A way for TinyCo to say, thank you for spending your hard earned money. It’s cool having those characters walking around your town, but when their event ends it’s basically for looks (I’m maxed out on XP). Anyone else feel this way?

They took a step in the right direction when they gave all the premium characters from comic con and consuela 24 hr tasks that earn spiriit vials.

Also: Would Alien with a little Santa hat on not be the shiz-nit??? But yeah, it would be nice to do something with Stan Lee and Patrick Stewart, et al, besides keep them out of my way for this event. Not to mention Cleveland (who I purchased due to joining the game after he was originally offered) still being completely useless. His 4-hour “Call Things Nasty” task seems primed for making a stink bomb, IMO.

Both Cranston and Fillion with Consuella and Takei have 24 hour tasks but I do see where you are coming from. With new districts and new characters becoming more difficult to unlock it would be nice to add these premium characters here and there to help collect extra rare items..kinda a thank you here is a leg up to unlock this

You do know Bryan and others have a 1 day task that earns FP for the Halloween event right? Scroll trough everyone’s tasks. Yes, not everyone, but a lot of premium characters DO have tasks that either earn FP points or bombs etc.

They should also give Ron Perlman, Felicia Day, Patrick Stewart and Stan Lee event tasks. It annoys the hell out of me that 6+ characters I have are doing time wasting tasks throughout this event.

Ah finally I can finish the Week 3 challenge with rare-dropped bomb (30-50% average drop), the kids spread randomly on my town, and average killing is 5. Hope the next challenge is not as frustrated as week 3 challenge and enlarge the clown statue

Just curious but did any freemium players get Mr. Weed yet? Aside from the items purchased for quest lines, I have just over 5000 spirit vials. I believe I’ll make it before the event ends (fingers crossed) but I’m wondering how many spirit vials other addicts currently have?

I haven’t bothered with him yet in my Freemium game. I want to buy other things first. Lots of other cool items and more still not unlocked. He is the last prize so I am waiting to get him last. 🙂

I am saving up items to get him while cautiously spending spirit vials on decorations for my town. I’m hoping they will release Death Brian as one of the mystery items left to brew. (Are you listening Tinyco…please, please, please?) IMO, Brian’s mystery box is the best Halloween decoration so far.

I’m currently sitting just north of 3,000 vials and 11 banshee tears. I’m actually more concerned with the tears than I am with the vials. All of the other items are coming in buckets, but since quagmire is the only freemium option for collecting the tears and it takes three hours to complete the collection task, they’re just trickling in. I hope they either make it easier to collect tears or don’t release any more items that require tears to brew.

Anyone get Mr. Weed yet? I wonder if I will get him cause I only have around 7000 vials and they aren’t coming very quickly. Everytime I get so many another quest pops up about buidling cannaries, or some other building and I have to use them up. Hopefully they’ll double up and make it easier to earn vials.
Least I have Francis, Megs Slutty cat..not doing too bad

Anyone else really pissed off with the game crashing? I spend a lot of money buying clams and after buying predator and a few buildings I decided to not buy more for a while because investing in a game that crashes every 2 minutes is a waste of money. I missed out on the bomb challenge by 22 trick or treaters because I refuse to keep paying for items when the game play is so bad. I wont get the ghost busters car now and that’s kind of annoying but it’s become too expensive and too buggy for me.

So three quick questions/comments. Long time lurker, first time poster, freemium player. Bunny and Alissa, a heartfelt thanks for operating this site and providing it as a resource. A lot of times the internet has provided an opportunity for people to hide behind anonymity and complain and the two of you deal with all that entails on a regular basis, so again thank you.
1) Will there be a use for (a lot of) latcher talons? It seems those have been accumulating for a while and there are not a lot of uses for them ATM.
2) Any hope for additional characters to take out banshees? It seems that is all I’ve got Quagmire doing these days, since I don’t have the clams for Predator. I was rather expecting Joe to be able to have a banshee action, but am disappointed to find now we have Meg, Joe, and Peter who all can bust Terror Dogs. Especially since while I may be able to unlock GB Cleveland, I don’t have his character because I started about a month before Comic-Con and so didn’t unlock him with the earlier event and definitely don’t have enough clams for him now (400 clams is really steep!), so I won’t be able to accomplish whatever his tasks are. Again, I’m not complaining, just disappointed.
3) Mixed feelings with Francis’ questline. Liked it a lot, particularly that he can earn traps like Diane, until Pt 4 which is “Have francis repent for sins” and requires him to be at level 6. Having followed the questline along, he’s only at level 3, so that is a bit of a hangup.
Otherwise, TinyCo has done a FANTASTIC job. They’ve created a good product and keep it interesting. I just got my first smartphone 3 months ago, and when my wife installed FG:TQFS, I tried it out and it was enjoyable enough. But once Comic-Con happened, between celebrity characters and nerdy references, I’ve been hooked. Each event since has been can’t-miss, from small ones like endless summer and Kool-Aid Man to Halloween and Ghostbusters. Kudos to making an excellent, excellent game.
And I agree with everyone else here: Wicked Glitch is awesome. Bunny, you should pitch it to TinyCo, because I would definitely work hard to earn items to unlock her. Great job.

3: Most characters are launched on small levels with option to level up. This is so you aren’t just done with them from the get go. Makes their time in your game a lil more worthwhile. To me…if a character was launched fully leveled up…they would kinda become pointless to me. Having a challenge to level up for them, gives you something to strive for and look forward to. 🙂

Sorry if I missed this elsewhere, but does anyone know what we get for each Fright Level? By this I don’t mean the portal upgrades, but the passive bonus shown in the event screen. For example, it says at level 7 I’ll unlock more Spirit Vials for clearing a certain lurking haunt, with a pic of a grey ghost and the Griffin House. Hoping for more Terror Dogs soon as I have four characters to clear them now and not enough spawning to keep them busy. Thanks

I know it’s still a little early, but will they be adding any other freemium options for collecting Banshee tears, ya think? As it is, I think I’d be alright… IF no future items require a bunch of them. Otherwise, I may have to start making some tough choices about how to spend the tears. Vials are still a point of concern, too, but I have a feeling that will be a moot point in another week or so.

Are terror dogs still spawning? Just got Joe and went to clear one, but Peter had the last one. I am only using Peter to clear them and not rushing his tasks. Is this a new bug?

Once Francis gets to level 3 and his next quest is for level 6, is he still leveling up? I only see FP after each task and do not think his bar is moving up.
