Here’s my What the Hell?! For this week:
-An hour wait in-between hits to Stay Puft..really?! But I want my Goop NOW! What the hell?!
-Trick-or-treaters…yes I’m still complaining about them because I hate them. They’re all over my town and driving me crazy…What the hell?!
-And finally…I love Christmas. Like seriously love it. I start looking forward to it one Labor Day hits. BUT…Christmas stuff out already?! Even I think it’s too early! What the hell people?! Can we get through October first?!

Wth? Am I the only one still with the Fragrence Factory still taking up space? I thought there was a fix. However, everytime I tap on it the game crashes and I’m out. I already sent 4 messages to the in game support team. Yet, nothing. ughhhhhhhh!

I purchased clams and haven’t received them yet it’s really irritating because I could have Jason earning rockets for me instead I’m waiting to get them this issue should have been fixed by now I seen a few days ago several people were having the same problem this is the first and last time I ever buy clams

Okay, I’ve had a crappy day, so every little thing seems to be bugging me today. I know the weekend is over, and I hope I’m not too late to kvetch. WTH is it with the latchers repeatedly attaching themselves to the same 3-4 buildings. Random my butt! Am I the only one who really detests the trick-or-treaters? I really hate the one hour timer on Stay-Puff between roasts. But here’s my biggest WTH. . . I really enjoy this game, but I’ve never had an app that is such a heavy drain on my battery (iOS, iPhone 4S). If I forget to totally close the app out, I can count on my battery being dead by noon.
Like I said, I’m cranky because I’ve had a rough day. I blame USPS, but that’s a different long story.

Why Thanks a Heap
Freemium, Started playing mid comic con. Got all the stuff I wanted from that event with help from this site. (Except didn’t think to buy a wavy man cuz I had to scrimp and they live on the costume shop anyway-and now can’t place one in my water for massive enjoyment)
TODAY- Used stewies duck outfit purchase to level up in FP and get the remaining clams I needed to unlock Cleveland and I hope to get his gb outfit!
Otherwise, I will likely pass on everything that we don’t NEED to buy, in order to get Mr weed, I only need 12,000 or so vials but they seem to come fairly quickly with tot and marshmallow man.
I could not have done it without the expert strategies and advice found on this site.
And, I would probably have quit in frustration as some challenges are just not that easy to grasp at first and quite easy to mess up!
Thanks for making it enjoyable, I’m sure tiny co knows if they can keep freemium customers engaged, that we likely will convert at some time to premium.
I will say, I think sometimes freemium has an advantage, as I’m always playing from behind by at least a few days (things take longer), I can learn from mistakes made or lessons learned by the players who forge bravely ahead. :).

I think the weirdest thing I have seen is that the costume/party supply stores have both Halloween stuff and some Christmas stuff in them right now. So… I can get a Santa costume right now, WTH. With that in mind, I think I might go as Santa for Halloween. Is that sacrilegious?

Wonderful…my game was stuttering along, freezing and unfreezing and somehow it registered me buying a mystery box for 100 clams. I have no interest in these boxes. I sent an in-game message asking for a reversal (I got 15 useless Banshee tears). What do you think my chances are of getting this fixed? I’ve bought numerous clams throughout the lifespan of this game…I’m hoping they don’t do me wrong here.

iOS user here: I haven’t been able to almost a week.. Sent them an email like Bunny suggested but after Tinyco asking me for my DeviceID they never replied back. I don’t know what else do to. It just keeps crashing after less than a minute of the game loading. I think I’m just gonna wait for the event to finish till I play again.

Ok Bunny, I know I’m staying up too late and reading this blog when I start having dreams about Bunnyliscious. No Ms Bunny, not one of “those” dreams. It was at a Family Guy Addict’s event. You were at a table talking to people and signing autographs. Alissa was on the other end. Not sure how I got there but I walked over to say hi get an autograph and you rolled your eyes and had security escort me away. It was odd since I was wearing footy pajamas and you never actually spoke. I was really curious to see if you sounded like Kristen Schaal like you did in my head. Yes even now after I have heard your true voice. I can’t help it. My mind does weird things. Anyway, everyone else was talking quite loudly and berating me for showing up uninvited and late. Apparently your dream self hates me or my dream self is very unlikable. Either way I was escorted out and spent the last of my long and oddly vivid dream, attempting to find my way back home without freaking people out in my long red pajamas with a butt flap and feet.
Just in case you’re curious, everywhere I hid to stay unseen on my journey home, I was discovered by someone and had to find a new hiding space to protect my bare bottom. The butt buttons didn’t work on my butt flap so it was shining the moon across the town. It was a lot like the dream of being in school in your underwear. It seemed to last forever and I never did find my way home or get an autograph from you ladies. Overall a slightly scary and uncomfortable dream.
Please apologize to dream Bunny for my dream self. If she and dream Alissa could find it in their heart, I’m sure dream me would gladly pay to acquire an autograph from each or even from just one to place in the frame with the items won in the Comic-con event contest. He would be happy to trade for cash, a poem, a short story or any other fair barter items. If too much of an inconvenience or other circumstances, I’m sure he would understand. Thanks for your time and all you do for us. May all your pickles stay fresh and crispy.

Glad I’m not the only one hating the trick or treaters. Just had my town all spiffy again and along comes these little pains in the backside. Had to move everything around again just to capture them. Playing this event nice and slow. Not getting irrational if I miss stuff. Need to stick around a few more years for my kids before I let a game cause a coronary.

Anyone else play on a note 3 and constantly crashing? Its so annoying.

Probably not the first time you’ve heard this, but I’ve been getting a ton of crashes lately. Basically I can’t do two things in the same session or it freezes or gives a bad_aloc error and I have to hard reset. So if I bomb kids, I can’t check the cauldron prizes, or if I check my fright points, I can’t bomb Stay Puft without a crash. Gonna send a message to TinyCo about it, just checking in here.

It could be memory drain. Do you have a lot of animated items hanging out from previous events? Like Spot lights? Have you tried storing some items to help not drain so much with the kids n now stay puft around? Did you kill all other apps running in the background?

I close everything else. Its probably ram like you said. Just a pain redoing all tasks that I set 5 seconds ago.. yes. I have all my stuff proudly on display. Especially if I can collect from it. I guess I can tuck stuff away for a week or so until this is finished.. than I can get back to the plutonium tasks hahaha thanks yall

I haven’t found the price and clear time for them of each strip of land, so far i’ve found it’s $12000 and it take 1d 20h, can i get a update of them

Why are there so many buildings and decorations but not enough land for it all. I’m getting more building faster than I can unlock more land plus I like to make my Quahog look nice.
But anybody got a list or something of all the buildings that are from events and which ones aren’t so that I can sort a special area in my Quahog where I can have it constantly changing depending on the event that is currently on? But also have all the permanent buildings permanently displayed in my Quahog.

I think this event is too hard for the freemium guys and guyets. I’m on it religiously and have reminders set and all that junk and I think I have no chance of Mr weed. Every time I get a half decent amount of vials something else comes out. You can’t rack the points up as quickly. I was hoping the stay puft multipler would help but even that’s not churning out the points and the hour delay is just stupid. Not enjoying this event as much as comic con.

Don’t give up… I’ve been working at it as well and while it is tedious there are ways to maximize your work have the ghost busters take care of the Hounds/Banshee’s except Peter, have Pink Brain, Mort, Jake, Bonnie and Meg (if you have them) get balloons as well as Having Bruce, Jerome, Chris and Peter to get stuff for the marshmallow man. And finally use Dianna and Francis to get Ghost Traps. (Using bombs try to get at least 4 or more kids at a time, ghost trap leachers, by waiting the full time and then using any the traps earned through Dianna and Fransics to take out the rest of them) and then bomb the Marshmallow Man (you should find that most of these task are 4 hours (except for the ones to earn marshmallow bombs which if you’re using the ones I recommended are all 2 hours long) Don’t forget to click the “grey ghost” and slimer as well. I just went from 3,892 to 4,050 (No Predator, Alien, Jason or anyone like that) just from clicking the people (not bombing anything Marshmallow Man or Trick Or Treaters) And that was after already clicking 4 or 5 before keeping tally.

If I knew the time for the buildings I’d go ahead and add those in as well…
Then on top of that 1,695 and the buildings is the Marshmallow Man (who when Maxed up earns at least 1,000 and up to 1,500 (I’m sure you can do that at least once a day for 2 days straight before losing the multiplier) so you will have about 2,695 to 3,000 + by the end of 24 hours.
at that rate of income it will take about 8 days to have Weed.
Remember also that If you have the traps you can actually get another 2 per a 4 hours so instead of 300 you’d have 900 just from that.

I don’t think it’s too hard necessarily (I am always frustrated when games like this arbitrarily decide on #s and don’t balance it, and I think they did a poor job this time round, hence all the hotfixes for Rockets, Balloons, etc) … but I wanted to reply to your post specifically because of the Mr. Weed comment. How in the heck are people getting Mr. Weed already?!? I am running every character through Halloween quests, I have over ONE HUNDRED Latcher Talons and TWO HUNDRED freakin’ Candy Corns and nothing good to spend them on … because just brewing the Cauldron items needed for quests/characters/costumes and I’m back to only 8,000 Vials.
I wasn’t around for King Butt, but several people during Comic Con noted that they “learned their lesson” in making the final character (George Takei) earned with “total items over time”, rather than saving up … so what do they do, they go right back to the problem way of doing it. 11 days left and the closest i’ve come to Mr. Weed was about 11,000 Vials … and then I had to use 4k for Vampire Stewie, and made some of the Vial costed building because there are not nearly enough ways to get Ghostbuster Cleveland items. You seemingly *have* to spend the Vials on those buildings … and boom, I’m back to being way behind for Mr. Weed again.
What are people using to stockpile so many Vials?! Is it only people who purchased a premium Vial dropping building that have Mr. Weed?!
(BTW, 165/hr Vials means over 100 hours, uninterrupted with sleep or anything else, before you gather enough for Mr. Weed. Realistically, with sleep or anything else, that’s closer to 6 days. Just enough time for them to hit you with the next batch of quests that require more Vials. Thomas’ math only supports the problem, not a solution)

I hate a “WTH” moment, but it’s not a negative one. I just went and purchased Quagmire’s Halloween House for 25 clams. I set it and all of a sudden I see a new item/section on the top of my town. I believe I have currently gotten a sneak peak of the next update for Family Guy QFS via some sort of game glitch. I moved Quagmire’s house and what I saw is now gone, but I took a screen shot of it!!!

WTH is with most of the chars that earn stink bombs are the ones that now drop rockets. I understand about new players but cmon TinyCo stop penalizing the day one players. Would it b that hard to give everyone a different item earning task so we don’t have to pick and choose between stink bombs or rockets. Ahhh. Feel better now, other than that enjoying the event and keep up the good work ladies

Well, I’ll join the chorus of people saying, WTH is with all the crashing? It doesn’t matter how many times I shut down my devices or if I have only the game operating lately, it crashes within a few minutes. I have never experienced this level of instability in any of the thousands of games I’ve played on any platform. When I check using my analytics tools, I see run-away memory leaks.

Coins for clams. I keep getting coins, but have nothing to spend them on. Why can’t we spend 100,632 coins to get 3500 clams? They obviously value those amounts the same.

Is anyone else having issues with Banshee Tears? I’m pretty sure they haven’t been adding to my total in the cauldron. I think I’ve been at 27 forever now. I’m going to watch the next time I get one and see if I move up to 28.

Very odd. I know they can get stuck if too many open. Try completing one or two of the ones you have, if it does not pop back up to the next part…let them know.

This just happened to me as well. Got the quest to kill 4 banshees and before I could even send him out to get the first one some dialogue popped up like I had completed the quest and now it’s gone.

Well there is a chance you did just complete it and it’s all done. Like the Slimer glitch, where it auto completed. His questline is kinda short. We’ll have to keep an eye on it.
