With the end of the Ghostbuster’s Quahog Halloween Event just around the corner (7th), TinyCo has provided one more Mystery Box of goodies for us. Frankenstein Mystery Box.
First things first, you WILL need to have Nightmare on Spooner Street completed (Part 9) in order to be able to see this Mystery Box.
So just what kind of fun items and lil goodies will you have a chance to get with 1000 Spirit Vials? Here is the list of items…

Reading through the comments on this post gave me another timely reminder why this site has become an invaluable part of my FGQFS gameplay. I was getting ready to trade in the 140 bombs I had collected when Bunny in reply to another comment mentioned something I had completely forgotten about, the chance to get clams bombing trick or treaters. So thanks to Bunny I didn’t take the quick trade option and since yesterday having been bombing groups of trick or treaters, again using Bunny corralling advice, and up to now have grabbed myself 16 clams and I still gave 60 odd bombs to go, so thanks to Bunny I could grab myself 20-30 free clams. Thanks again Bunny & Alissa for all the info, I don’t know how you do it and still have a life.

holy beep you have 60 bombs?? I do not think I had 60 bombs drop in this entire event for me, and have been playing way continuously all during Halloween theme because its my favorite holiday. I have had a hard time even gaining rockets of right colours, barely ever had over three bombs at once- I hadnt bought them however- and rarely have over 5000 spirit vials at once, unless saving for MrWeed which I barely scraped by and finally just got last min. HOW does anyone have 60+ bombs? The drop rate SUCKS!

Like that we can finally trade in all these ingredients. However trading 5 marshmallow goop at a time when you have over 400 kind of a pain, should have a brew multiple times options to speed things along. Hoping for one more mystery box to use these vials all up.

Managed to get all the items, plus 3 Grim Reaper statues. Just going to probably get some more vials in the event there’s a surprise.
Overall, Halloween has been good. While it has a repeat of the previous big events, I’m at least grateful that they’re winding this down with no surprise of Stripper Bonnie in sight. Grateful that they didn’t pull that again!

I hated the Comicon event because of the lack of Freemiums and the high priced Premium characters.
I have LOVED the Halloween event, however. I’ve unlock absolutely everything, short of a few items from the Brian/Stewie mystery boxes (and got everything I wanted from those anyway)… the Premium characters are VERY cool and fairly priced, and the unlockables are a bit easier to achieve. Also, the Dia de Los Muertos unlockables were a cool unexpected surprise.
My only problem is now there is absolutely NO room for another building in my Quahog… Mayor West’s perfume factory took up my last bit of space lol.

This is why TinyCo rocks. Look at the plethora of amazing Freemium content that they are making available to EVERYONE. Hater’s gonna hate, but I think this game is great.

Worst event ending ever. Mystery boxes full of “Stuff” that is completely useless, while getting rid of things I may have actually wanted after getting Mr. Weed. Then again there is that space issue. This game is turning into garbage.

Here’s what grinds my gears. TinyCo “listens”, yet many complain about not having enough space. We get shafted with space. I’m not saying don’t give us stuff. I am saying give us somewhere to put the stuff… Not that hard to comprehend.

Only useless gatbage to the tragically unhip..With the abilities the trade out portals now, 80’s Cleveland’s rocking dance floor and a few other deco’s My town is sporting a crazy 70’s Goth disco. ….INVITE ONLY!!….okay maybe it is garbage..maybe it is like a store that went out of business that is selling off shelves, a cash register and a stand up Bon Jovi card board cut out that was there when they moved in….but it is now my garbage!! …now back to my 70’s goth disco!!

whats useless about it? Decos are awesome and not all of us are out of space. I have entire blocks that have barely one building in them, and entire areas with nothing but room for decos. I have bought tons of buildings too. Also we have storage now. I think Halloween decos that repeat should be sellable tho, I do not need 100 yellow poisonous flowers so yeah someone may want to ask Tinyco to make it sellable, since Ive never been able to get a comment to them ever. Ive tried.

So, I finally got Mr. Weed and am now converting all my leftover ingredients into vials. And while I am appreciative of TinyCo for allowing us to do this, I am slightly annoyed at the conversion process.
Honestly, I don’t think there’s a need to give a “bonus” decoration every time you brew more vials. I’ve got enough excess Marshmallow Goo to perform over 30 conversions (and that’s assuming that I don’t roast Stay Puft a few more times). So, while I do want the 3000 vials from converting them…you know what I don’t need? 30 Scary Tomb decorations.
Here’s hoping that TinyCo will bring back the option to Sell items in your inventory when the event ends. Because I’m going to have dozens of unwanted decorations by Friday.

Bunny, if you don’t mind please ask if we can get more land. Like twice as much as we have now. I have a couple of million ready to spend and a ton of buildings sitting in my box. I just don’t have any more land that I can buy.

I believe I echo everyone’s sentiments when i say, thank you TinyCo!
I’m glad enough of us asked for this that they added it. Without being able to convert, I wouldn’t have been able to make many attempts at the Frankenstein Rupert box, and now I believe I will have enough spirit vials to get all the Rupert prizes (and I just finished Mr. Weed!!).
Also, thanks Bunny and Alissa – you are awesome in what you do for this community providing information so we can be the most successful in these events!

As much as I love this event, the ending is kind of anticlimactic for me. I would have preferred them to finish the event with items and prizes from the previous mystery box. I held up trying to get items from the previous box hopping for some better ones if they release a new one, but as it turned out, none from this new one excites me.

Great game though. I actually like this game a lot more than TSTO, and the lack of space is my only real complaint. Problem is it’s a significant complaint that’s kind of a game-breaker for me. I’ve posted this complaint a few times already but I’m just hoping they see it so I can keep playing. Once there’s more space they can have more money 🙂

I have just over 40,000 potion$, 56 bombs and over 40 traps, I have collected, brewed, and gotten everything Halloween related, even multiples of the ones I really liked, what do I do now? Fyi: just finished the last of Sexy witch Connie run thru….

Have I even had that many all together including the 17500 for Weed? Getting 17500 just for MrWeed was an epic struggle for me, playing every 3 hours even

I’m really happy they added the trade items for viaIs. I figured I wasn’t the only one that had tons of certain ingredients. Also, all in all this has been a great event. Being a freemium player, I love when TinyCo awards your hard work in the game with new characters and clams. All the clams from this event basically allowed me to buy a new character.

Tough decision dude. I like the predators quest line more but unfotunately theres not enought time for you to get very far into it at this point. Unless you are dying to have one you should save your clams for the next event and get a character that you can enjoy while its relevent and can be of use.

Just gotta say class act by TinyCo. For anyone who may have been struggling to get Mr Weed they should have plenty of options now given the ingredient trade in was added. I saw someone mention “Frankenstein Rupert” and I assumed it was wishful thinking. That didn’t stop me from looking through boxes and inventory to double check. Because that would be awesome. And my guess is that this was the last Mystery Box for this event? So…how about a tool to convert every 10,000 vials into a clam? 😉

I’m a bit disapointed that they have replace the Day of the Dead mystery box with this one 😦 I don’t recall seeing anywhere in the game that it was time limited, but i could have missed it concentrating on my hardest to get Mr Weed and the Alien queen before the event ends which I finally managed to get by trading in the brew items this morning . I now have them and over 4000 vials left but really wanted some of the prizes in the DotD boxes. The only one in this box I fancy are the Brian and the Grim reaper statues

They did actually put up the very limited time window, saying it would end on the 4th. It was VERY fast, but it was out there.

The Box itself had the date permanently on it too. So every time you tapped on it, the date was right there.

Ah so I must of missed the notification while worrying and concentrating on trying to get Mr Weed and Alien Queen before the event ended
at least i was able to purchase Consuela at a cheap price with all the clams i’ve earnt on this event. Look like I’ll have to use all these spare vials on the new mystry box then.

I didn’t see it at all. 😦 I was so upset because I spent all this extra money to get Alien so I could also get Consuela just to wake up in the morning and she was gone. I just needed one more clam! I wish they make it more obvious that events like that are limited time because I wouldn’t have spent money and now I have clams just sitting there that I don’t want to use because I was so excited about getting Consuela. It makes me not want to ever make another purchase, honestly.

Spent my time trying to get bombs so still not got far with Spooner Street quest, so only on level 4 so doubful I will be able to spend my spare stuff, and giving us just 2 days warning is not good enough, more warning and could have done it, why was it not freely available to all. I know you cannot change this but just my feelings. Apart from this was reasonably ok with the rest

Love this update! Helped me get all of the brews i needed for the quest. I don’t know if i’ll be able to get everything out of the frankenstein box but I’m at least going to try!

Very chuffed with thus event. And now thanks to this update inhale EVERYTHING that it has offered. I even happily spent on clams for all the premium characters etc. Before now I was a little bit bummed that I had nearly 200 marshmallow goo things that were going to waste. Purely on trading in traps, stink bombs, smores and jars, it made enough spirit vials to do the box enough times to get everything. And I’ll easily be able to get multiple grim reaper statues like I did with the dozen or so sugar skulls I have. All in all a great event, the only thing that bugged me is that the crashing issues have returned and I have a high end device. I have been told a few times by TC that it affects lower end devices only, but that’s clearly not the case. Nevermind though, still love the game.
As a few others have said, wouldn’t mind seeing that frankenstein outfit appear beforehand event finishes, but personally I just wanna get back to normal quahog and find that plutonium!!!

High end phone. I might try it out on my daughters kindle fire at some point, see how that fares, but I always have enough a high end phone, and don’t really get problems with any game except this one. Shame, because I love this game the most. Spent probably more on this than I have on an Xbox One game if I’m honest.
Also someone said about a Halloween fence – top idea, was thinking that myself, then for those of us that are a little obsessive about town organisation, we could make a decent graveyard area or something.

Pleased to say I got everything that I wanted out of this event! Only paid for Jason and Freddy. Got Consuela but it was before she went on sale so I paid the full 300. And thanks to the update with the conversion options, I was able to brew all the items in the cauldron and get the Slimer deco. Anything I get out of the Frankenstein-Rupert box will be a bonus. Add to that the weekly prizes and the Echto-1, great job Tiny-Co! And great job to you guys for all of your advice and tips! You’ve become my go-to guide site for this game and the Simpsons Tapped Out! Can’t wait for the American Dad event!

When the event started I was worried about collecting enough spirit vials to get at least one of everything without buying one of the spirit vial machines ( which I did not particularly like, although I would have bought the vial laboratory ), but as the event progressed and I obtained more buildings, characters and outfits the vials really started to add up.
I have gotten everything from both boxes, brewed all items and purchased at least one of all the items available for vials and still have 25,000+ vials on hand and I have not even started to convert all the bombs, traps, rockets and ingredients for brewing.
The great thing about this event is that there are a lot of different deco items to spend the vials on, where as comic con only had spotlights, wacky waving arm men and comic con signs. Which brings me to my questions, I have read your blog about the inventory, but didn’t see answers for the following: is there a max limit to the number of items that can be stored and is there a max limit to the number of each item that can be stored? I have 300+ spotlights and 100+ wacky waving arm men to put in storage plus some of all the trees, bushes, tombstones etc. from this event.
D’oh! I hope they bring the orange and white flowers back in the future as I had planned on getting a lot more ( I thought they were available till November 7).
Thanks for all you girls do on this site, as I would not have been as successful without your advice (don’t dig up Diane) and the walkthrus which really help in planning out tasks so that characters are available when their part of a quest comes up.
