So just before our fun Ghostbuster’s Quahog Halloween winds down, TinyCo gave us one more box of goodies, the Frankenstein Mystery Box. Now you are wondering just about each of these new items and what all they do? How big are they? Are they worth it?
You WILL need to have Nightmare on Spooner Street completed (Part 9) in order to be able to see this Mystery Box.
Now let’s jump on in with a complete breakdown of each of these cool new items.
STATUE OF LIBERTY FOOT (Decoration): Sits on a 4×3 base. Not animated. Silly item that comes from a mixture of Ghostbusters II and I Take Thee Quagmire in the Family Guy TV Series. Still not quite sure where to put it, but it makes me giggle to look at it.
WITCH’S CAULDRON (Decoration): Sits on a 3×3 base. Not animated. Would be cool to see it active like it is for the Ghostbuster’s Quahog Halloween Event. Still a cool decoration to add to a themed area.
STEWIE MYSTERY BOX STATUE (Decoration): Sits on a 2×2 base. Lots of cool details to this statue. Stewie’s eyes light up and glow brighter and brighter while the candle flames flicker. There are also fireflies that swirl around and upward. The eyes on the demon faces on the base also like up as well as the skull in his hand.
BRIAN MYSTERY BOX STATUE (Decoration): Sits on a 2×2 base. Really cool design on this one. I was happy they released it. Animation on this one is cool. The hour glass swings back and forth on the chain in his hand while fireflies surround the statue and float upward. The eyes on the skulls light up and blink on n off. Looks really cool in a death themed area. Main image from the Macabre Mystery Box.
GRAY GHOST PORTAL (Decoration): Sits on a 6×7 base. About as tall as the average buildings. Animation on this includes the portal area whirling around. Working on some ideas of just what to do with these Portals. New doorways into building?
POLTERGEIST PORTAL (Decoration): Sits on a 6×7 base. About as tall as the average buildings. Animation on this includes the portal area whirling around while the torches flicker.
TRICK OR TREAT PORTAL (Decoration): Sits on a 6×7 base. About as tall as the average buildings. Animation on this includes the portal area whirling around while the torches flicker.
STAY PUFT PORTAL (Decoration): Sits on a 6×7 base. About as tall as the Fabulous Four Building. Animation is the portal area whirling around while the torches flicker.
NIGHTMARE PORTAL (Decoration): Sits on a 6×7 base. About as tall as the Q building. Animation is really cool on it. I like the whirling portal in the center and smoke sucking into it. The torches also flicker around.
GRIMM REAPER STATUE (Decoration): Sits on a 3×4 base. Tall Statue (same as ones in the Halloween area next to the Nightmare Portal). Not animated. The lil lights at its feet do give the impression they are glowing though. Looks really cool next to the Nightmare Portal or any death or graveyard scene.

Ok, I almost spaced this so I’m going to just throw it out there. In case someone else is thinking the same as me. I had hundreds of those marshmallow,bones,candycorn,exc… containers. I thought what a shame to let them go to waste. Until it smacked me in the face that I could trade them along with a few elixir/poison bottles for more bottles. After trading them all away I ended up with almost 20,000 poison bottles. Enough to buy all the Frankenstein Mystery Boxs. I have plenty left over & nothing else that I need bc I have everything. I’m just skipping the Frankenstein Box. Nothing in there that really grabs me. Plus I’m trying to cut down on decorations and things that don’t earn anything. I am trying to keep my town looking like a town as much as possible, if that makes sense.

I’m really disappointed about the Day of the Dead box (or just in myself). I didn’t realize it was only for the weekend and thought it would last until end of Halloween event, so I didn’t end up buying anything from it because was saving up to spend all my points at the end of the event. At least I did spend clams on the discounted Consuela though.

I’m glad the ways to earn lots of vials really exploded near the end. I’ve been able to get all the remaining freemium event stuff and have tons left for the FrankenRupert box. I’m really disappointed about the timing of the Day of the Dead box though. I got discounted Consuela (yay), but I didn’t have enough vials at the time to get any of the related items. Why couldn’t they have made that go until the end of the event!? 😦

Am I the only one that really wants the tree with the tootsie pop owl and the iron fencing that surrounds the haunted house? Still sitting on a ton of vials with nothing really left to buy unless I create a giant cobweb forest in my town.

Ok so I need to keep a closer eye on this site. I haven’t finished the quest line and just spent a load of vials on things I don’t need lol. Ah well I got all the stuff I really wanted so I’ll just see if I can finish the quest line and possibly open a box. Just want to say thanks for all the help you give us on this site especially as you don’t have to and aren’t a part of tiny co. Also thanks to other plays who comment to help out I discover all sorts of things.

this was not good. This week I couldn’t read this “blog” and only now I see that I must finish the Kruger questline to have a possibility to earn this stuff. This is the worst they could do on the last week. I am very disappointed.

I did finish the Freddie quest line in time for the box. I was one away and the event would have been over before I finished. I wasted my vials on some buildings and decorations. The next day the event ends, the new one starts–Freddy finished and the box appeared–I had no more vials. If I had known, I would have saved them..I was not amused.

It’s hard to understand why so many people are moaning about the prize box, it finished off my town brilliantly by being able to get the portals and statues. Just wish TinyCo had done that for the comicon event would loved to have got the convention centre. And why have people spent sooooo much on clams? I spent £35 tops and completed everything.

Never got this in my game. I read you had to brew everything first. Did that a couple days ago and still nothing. Have thousands of useless vials.

Is this the entire questline? I have him built, the gate to hell built and am running thru but still no frankenrupert. He won’t be done with the 12 hour quest he is on until after the event ends.

I wish they’d include a second mystery box, like the Comic-Con event. I have plenty of vials left.

Yeah, I wish the Witch’s cauldron was animated too. I do wish Mr. Weed was voiced, even though his voice clips would be a little more harsh sounding coming from the older episodes. Not complaining, though. Came out way ahead on this event. Buying a lot of the unruly bushes. They’ll work well in many areas!

I was able to get everything and am very surprised i was able to. Once we get more space i can’t wait to set up a little halloween town with all the cool things from this event. Especially having all those portals. (:

I don’t post on here that much but when I do it’s to ask a question or support another question..anyways I have 2 accounts one free and one premium my girl who is 10 loves family guy, so she gets the.premium…this would be her 2nd event comic con was her first she was talking today about the event she said she liked it, but it was to easy she says,…..so I use my account for reference to hers and she is right, this event wasn’t hard, the vials wasn’t hard, rockets, once you got into a grove of getting things it worked out great, yea Mr weed was 17500 vials that doesn’t take long for my free account 7 days, I did nothing else but collect vials, .
Just think next event might be more challenging than this and hope.it is.Bunny and Alissa are great to have in our time of needy questions, complaints, someone to vent to, laugh with, help maybe even cry with.,so in closing be thankful we get events and decos, etc to do,

Too easy? I still haven’t brewed everything in the cauldron, and won’t as time will run out before I get a chance to. I haven’t even finished the quest line to get the last mystery box to open, so have no shot at those prizes. Also missed one of the timed items, so didn’t get Ecto-1. I think the game was right on as far as challenging is concerned. Freemium players can get most, but not all the prizes.
I have read previous posts about the King Butt event, that it was too hard. I missed the event so don’t know first hand how it played out. But I hope TinyCo keeps with the current difficulty level and doesn’t go back to King Butt levels.

I’m a freemium player who unlocked everything and will still have a couple thousands vials left to waste on creepy trees. Yeah this event was right on though, the king butt event is where I started and I only managed to get 30k moon idols. The hardest event was deffinitly Rupert tea party though, I had a messed up sleep schedule the whole time because of him and still almost didn’t get him!

Just this morning I won the witch’s cauldron and therefore have every item from this mystery box. Really enjoying that they now put in only 1 duplicate not 3 or 5. It makes it way easier to get the non duplicate items and personally I love non duplicate items way more than duplicates.
By the way today I’m going to finish the stay puft streak I’ve had going ever since I first defeated him. I’ve only seen the other multiplier levels once and been doing the 25x ever since. But now I’m going to tru to waste every single rocket I’ve been stockpiling up on stay puft. I’ve got around 90 blue ones, 60 purple ones and 6 red ones. Hope it won’t ask for red ones. You know what really grinds my gears, instead of just poking fun at the ones using the “special services” to obtain clams. They actually cracked down on everyone who used it, deleted all but 250 clams and threatened to block the account if they do it again. They really expect people to pay $300 a month to get the new content? They don’t even have enough land for all the content

I got everything from the Frankenstein Box. Everything from the Witch’s Caldron and still have rockets, talons and tears that I could exchange for vials but I’m sitting on 8,000 now. Then what to do with 20 jacked-up-lanterns, 63 scary tombs.?! But it’s been a Fantastic Event. I did not get any of the Spirit Vial items to help me get my vials so it was do able if you played the game. Can’t wait for the Christmas Event!!!

I don’t know where to post this but tinyco seems to see the feedback on this site so I hope this gets addressed. How does it make since to catch a bunch of people cheating and then reward those people with 250 clams plus they get to keep all the premium content they used their free clams on but the players who have spent hundreds of dollars of hard earned real life money to purchase all the premium content get squat.Not that I feel like we deserve anything cause a bunch of people got busted using hacks I just feel like those players are being rewarded On a related note people cheat because they make each event more expensive I spent $100 on comic con and $200 on Halloween only to find out theres a bunch of players who got it all for nothing without any real consequences. Sorry for my mini rant but I’m a huge common sense guy and I just don’t get it

them portals is staying in my inventory, I have NO room to put them anywhere, and they don’t exactly look aesthetically appealing either. just another useless decoration sitting in inventory that you can’t even sell or delete.

This mystery box was a complete waste of time. Way to go tiny co. You give us more junk to put out….oh wait, we don’t have the room to put anything else. Aside from that this event had its pluses but overall it wasn’t great. Hopefully they’ll do better on the next one
