Update: A few updates have been made to the game with this update. Hovering ghosts from Halloween are now animated. And Peter should be able to drop Censor Bars, for Intimate Apparel Peter, once again.

American Dad Phase 3 has hit our Tiny Quahogs! And it looks like Francine is joining the party!
You will need to complete “A Likely Story Part 6” in order to see the new Phase 3 items of the American Day Event. Stan should have a ! over his head, so tap on him to get things started with “You Are Being Watched”.
UPDATE TO THE AMERICAN DAD EVENT: TinyCo has done something really awesome, the Smith Family American Dad Event Characters now will stay around AFTER the Event to be unlocked (Stan, Steve, Hayley, Francine). That means as long as you have them started in your town (Bubbles above their head, items collections started, quest to point of collecting for them) then you have AS LONG AS YOU WANT to unlock them. WOOHOO!! So no worries about rarity of items or time spent. Take your time to relax and enjoy what TinyCo has brought into the game for you.
So feel free to turn your attention to Intimate Apparel Peter as he is Limited Time. 🙂

Let’s first break down the new buildings/decorations
Buildings:
CIA Headquarters- $2,000. 8hr build time. Earns $50, 30xp/10hrs
C.I.A Mobile Lab- $1,800. 12hr build time. Earns $30, 20xp/4hrs
Hazmat Tent- $500. 6hr build time. Earns $80, 55xp/20hrs.
Fun ‘N Gun Shooting Range- $5,000. 20hr build time. Earns $140, 90xp/16hrs.
Muffins by Mrs. Smith- 75 Clams. Instant Build. Earns $60, 40xp/10hrs. Always drops Muffins for Francine.
Decorations:
White Picket Fence- $250/ea section.
Sex Rose Bush- $1,000.
Security Threat Meter- 25 Clams.
Pinky the Missing Linky- 100 Clams. (not animated. LARGE in height)
Bobby the Bullet- 50 Clams. (not animated)

These buildings are already part of Quahog, so if you have them already they’ll now drop items for Francine. If you don’t have them you can now purchase them for clams.

Hi-Yah’s Dojo- 150 Clams. Earns $40, 25xp/6hrs. Always drops For Sale Signs.

To unlock her you’ll need to place the Smith Mobile…
Smith Mobile- Costs $1,000. Instant Build. Earns $50, 30xp/ 12hrs.
Once you place the car you’ll find Francine. Of course to unlock her you’ll need to…you guessed it..collect STUFF. Here’s what you’ll need:
20 Pink Dresses (Uncommon)– Earned By: Make Jerome Play Darts OR Make Bruce Fret About Something OR Get from Historical Clam Exhibition Hall.
15 Romance Novels (Uncommon)- Earned By: Make Steve Booty Dance OR Make Stan Flex in the Mirror OR Make Bonnie Abuse Jacuzzi Jets OR Get From Old Timey Book Store (always drops)

So I am trying to decide on buying the ‘Pinky’ deco before the event ends tomorrow. I am a huge AD fan and have bought every building and deco they have put out so far. This is the only one I am questionable on due to price and I cannot quite place what episode it is from. Would you recommend it and do you happen to know what the AD relation is? Thanks as always

For me…it looks like something that belongs outside a used car lot. Lol. So unless you have a design resembling that, maybe extra whacky waving inflatable tube arm men…then maybe. Otherwise to me…it is just a decoration. As far as where it came from…it looks like the one from Gorilla’s in the mist to me, but I am also thinking another place.

Will Roger be available after I complete the phase “you are being watched.” I’m thinking I have to complete this task first before he become available. And how can I get Jillian, Barbara Pewterschimidt, Neil Goldman, and Death. Anyways I like how you guys created this game totally awesome.

Okay so the Help section says once I’ve bought Francine’s vehicle I’ll have forever to gain the gear to unlock her. I assume this will be the same for Roger; I’m only wondering if it’s true (that I have forever to unlock) because I’m going on holidays all the way through Roger’s appearance and I’ll have limited internet.

Man this game is awesome been playing it ever since i got my iPad 2 back in February. I have almost every character I hope Roger is a available around thanksgiving week. Because I think people who want him don’t want miss out on getting him. And I was also wondering how do you get the other characters like death and Jillian.

What happened to the CIA truck? I got one but can’t get any more! I have 8 hazmat buildings and 4 (soon 6) CIA headquarters, two shooting ranges but no more options for getting additional trucks.
Why so many years duplicates? I’m bored and have nothing else to do with all of the seemingly useless coins. 🙂

Yes, I guess that I am complaining about that. I’m hoping that someday they will introduce a way to “gift” things to friends. It would be nice to help someone occasionally who doesn’t have as much time to play.

The drop rate for Francine is sooo slow and tedious! She’s like the hardest character to get yet within a timed event. I’ve been grinding it out hard and I’ve got 13 pink dresses, 7 romance novels, & 4 muffins (the 3 extra rare signs dropped really easy for some reason). I’m a little more than halfway there I guess but overall the actions take so darn long. If only there were more characters who could drop items. I’ve thought about using clams to get the muffin shop but I just used most of mine to get Bitch Brian so I’m hoping to tough it out. I hope Roger is easier to unlock because Francine feels like she may take most of the rest of the event to obtain!

While the drops for all other characters have been somewhat okay for me so far, Francine’s requiring of so many long tasks sucks big time. I can only hope that an unlocked Francine quest isn’t the prerequisite of Roger becoming available. If it was, TinyCo extending the unlocking beyond the American Dad event wouldn’t really help much.

Ahhhhh these muffins are not dropping! Bonnie and Lois have been continuously doing the Muffin tasks 4+ times already each and not one has dropped! why even call them rare when they’re droppin epicly 😠

Since I started my game, the rare items drop constantly for me, the common items drop like rare items should, and the common, extra rare and epic all drop at the same rate. I wonder why they even bother to label them. Is anyone else having this problem?

I’m in the same boat kinda…trying to get stewie, pb&j Brian, xeres peter, intimate apparel peter, carter and Francine. So overwhelmed I didn’t even really try to get that weird stewie from the cloning machine

I know the feeling. I *just* unlocked Xerxes Peter. Trying desperately to unlock PB&J Brian so I can finally get Stewie. Keep getting distracted by these temporary new characters and skins. I tried to get Bitch Stewie but those stupid bubble beards never dropped for me.

Is Stan free? It seems at times I got to let Stan walk around for just a minute task free to trigger Roger. If that doesn’t help. Try force closing app and/or restarting your device.

Stan has been free and walking around with no issues, I’m cleaning my game cache, Uninstalling and reinstalling the game to see what happens.
Hopefully the issue is just with my device and not a game wide problem.

I’ll keep an eye out. I got him wandering round in all my games. If I can’t find him I just see if Stan has the task unlocked, then I know he’s there.

I have had only 1 For Sale Sign drop,0 muffins, the RomanceNovels are starting to drop and the Pink Dress is doing ok. I have every available character on these tasks and have did them repeatly or sent them on an hr or 2 tasks and back to her tasks. Finally broke down and just bought the muffin store with my small horrid of clams.
On other matters just 6 more Censor bars then I have IAP. On top of working on unlocking the Mayor and works on the cologne bottles for the Fangrance Factory. Keeps me busy.

My bf unlocked his yesterday afternoon and he has

All 3 signs and he just finiished getting haley and steve.
Hoefully my game improves on the drops. Just frustrating somtimes. But i still play the game quite frequently since i dont sleep much

Most go when the event does. Up to TinyCo if they decide to keep it in the game after that. My suggestion, request it to them.

One thing to think about for next week is try letting your cia agents build up for Roger. I know there’s a few task that ask you to clear them, but after that try letting them build up.

Yes! I second this tip! I had let my agents and bitches build up after I got the previous item drops, just to enjoy the crowd cruising my street. As soon as I got Francine and they added the CIA agents to her item drop, I got 2 of the 3 real estate signs required. I’m now letting them accumulate again in hope they will help with Roger. (Since you only get coins from them otherwise, there’s no real benefit to tapping them sooner unless you’re a new player in need of cash.) Too bad they don’t help with the muffins, though – even after spending clams on Francine’s muffin stand, I’m still far from goal.

Is anyone getting cencor bars dropping? I have 3 charachters running that same task overand over and haven’t had any since thurs. I’ve reported it…. buti only have 3 right now… I wont make the tuesday cutoff. How can that be? For an uncommon drop that seems odd.

The only thing I seem to be having a problem with is getting that last Megaphone for Hayley. I was hoping to have it this morning, but both Bonnie and Steve refused to drop.

TinyCo is working on the video thing not giving you clams. I have a question about Roger. I thought we were going to be able to get Roger too or has this changed? Did I miss it? I got Stan first and completed the quests but no Roger. I’m sure I may have missed something but I have checked. Now I’m at a loss. Thanks for your input.

Roger isn’t in the game as an actual character yet. Soon. Right now he’s just a side task for Stan.

I’m guessing Roger will show up (as actual character) either this Wednesday or Friday. The AD event wasn’t scheduled to end until December 4th or 5th (memory fuzzy) and so far the characters have arrived each Friday – but with Thanksgiving (and a possible increased difficulty on obtaining Roger) I’m thinking there’s a chance we’ll see him on Wednesday instead. I’m already excited! Especially every time I notice the task in Hayley’s list requiring Roger’s Place. (Note: this is all just speculation for the purpose of discussion)

I’m having the same issue on my new kindle fire HDX. Completely unplayable. Luckily I’ve got my droid phone and an iPod touch that it does work on. Weird thing is TSTO plays like a dream on the kindle, but tends top crash on my droid, but not as bad as Family Guy on the kindle.

H this May seem like a dumb question but have you tried turning your device off and back on? I had a similar issue on my device (iPad 2) during Halloween. I had plenty of memory, shut down all other apps before opening the game, stored all of me decorations and it still crashed constantly. After I shut down and restarted My device it hasn’t crashed once.

It looks like there was a little update on iOS… didn’t check Android. From what I can see, a large number of the graphics that were downgraded previously to low res on some devices are now back to high res. Yay 🎉🎉🎉

Francine and Carter (if you don’t have him already) both take away odds of intimate apparel Peter items, as they cause actions to have multiple items attached.
Just a heads up so you’re not working as hard as I am. I plan to have him/her/whatever by Monday night, if not I’ll just throw away five bucks on clams… we shall see. Better in my mind to have him than not seeing as how I’m almost halfway there.
