With no timer to tell me when this ended i missed it. Pretty sure i could have had him by sometime today. I set alarms and even wake up in the middle of the night to play. But i missed bitch stewie because no items would drop and missed this because no end timer. This just makes me feel like giving up. The game has to reward people who play religiously or it will lose us. Not happy at the moment.

I totally agree with you. Apparently it was left to the player to go searching through FAQ or Facebook or Twitter to know that it was a timed event… Because we all spend our time outside the game searching the internet about it right…? A lot of the events they have been running lately seem next to impossible to get done in time unless you purchase clams 😦

I’m sorry but I think it’s ****** that they keep giving us “limited time” items that aren’t easy to unlock. Or you get all but one piece and then oops sorry it’s gone. Also how were we supposed to know without searching the FAQ it was limited? Don’t they usually have a timer for those ones??

Nope. They have pop ups, FAQ, Facebook, and Twitter usually with info. We provide it to in case the others are missed. Only real timers we see are within event items.

So if I missed the pop up bc I clicked through it too fast I had to go searching for it… Got it… That’s helpful…. So while we’re at it when does American Dad end? I saw on the FAQ that it does end but it doesn’t say when. With Francine it just says you have her until the end of the event but no time

Ugh after my Glenn, Stewie, and Bruce tasks finished I expected to receive my last designer toy… Nope… If I remember correctly (could be iffy) in the last 24 hours of tries yielded 0
I ended up spending 20 clams on the outfit… I’m glad I get iTunes gift cards via try this app/get gift cards with points for “free”. I can’t spend my
day job money on these apps. I’ll watch ads (Carl is awesome) pay a fixed one time amount to have access to premium content via I game currency, but this frustrates me. The problem with this is By doing this u support demand side and prevent cost of clams from falling and support times events. It is love/hate for me, love the events b/c they are fun, hate the time tables and uncertainties.

I officially gave up, with less than 8hrs to go I only had 1 out of 5 for the extra rare items and only 2 characters to send on the actions. I don’t consider it worth the clams so I’ll have to let this one go.
Really is the luck of the draw as I’ve gotten many of the others like bitch stewie really easily when others were struggling

They updated the FAQ to say it ends at 3pm PST. But they make no mention of the quest line ending. If it does end then i just sent a couple people on 12 hour useless tasks

man…I have only 1 censor bar left. I wish I knew when it ended. I have all three of them on their 6 hr quests, but maybe I should just pay the 10 clams now and call it good. I don’t want to miss it by hours, but if I can get it for free, I’d rather 😦

Don’t think I’m gonna end up with this skin, the first 2.5 days were a waist for me cause the game wouldn’t work. Kept freezing up and crashing no matter what I tried. 😥

in my opinion you can only get this will the buildings since they are always, either you will struggle to get extra rare or struggle to get uncommon as its 6-hr, buildings are the way to go on this, i do hope this doesent happen next friday otherwise the FCC will be round my place to censor all my swearing.

I still have 5 censored bars and 5 toy boxes to go, most likely won’t finish this event which is a shame as I have always finished with more than enough time, not sure if there’s a problem getting the toy boxes or if it was just bad luck, but either way considering the amount I play I should have still been able to finish 😦 feels a bit like tinyco might have made this one super difficult to encourage everyone to spend clams…

Just got the costume with plenty of time to spare, have to admit I had the buildings from previous events, I have been criticle in the past in how Tiny kept introducing new stuff needed for clams, but things appear to be changing and happy how Tiny are now allowing us to use old buildings and not trying to get us to spend clams on new ones for timed events, so now not costing as much, maybe I should not have said that 😉 but this is a much fairer way. There is still 2 days to go so I think I would still have gotten it anyway, although the funny thing was was not bothered either way, used to get a little stressed near the end if it, and when it looked like I would miss out, but realised it will only go into storage with all the others never used, so realy just enjoy the game, if it happens well done, if not let it go, not worth getting worked up about it.

It ends Tuesday, we do not know what time but assume usual. So make sure you have him completely unlocked before he is pulled from the game Tuesday.

As with bitch stewie the none rare items are far rarer. I completed BS with clams because I got so close, but I am not doing it again. It’s things like this, the supposed easy things that end up seeming like a cash grab, oh and the constant crashing, that make me think of dumping the game.
I have got all the rare and extra rare items as of yesterday, but only have 10 common items and 3 uncommon items. How does the math work on that? I should get the common items with the days left, but if the drop rate continues with the uncommon it’s not looking likely.

I’ve collected all the rare and extra rare items and most of the common ones as well its just the uncommon seem not to be dropping

Drops vary…but seem to be going as planned. What you see will depend on how many buildings n characters you have for that item.
If you feel there’s an issue, please report it

I’m in exactly the same boat. It seems that if there is a building that drops items and you don’t have that building, the tasks that should also drop those items drop less frequently.

Exactly the same here. All extra rare and rare items collected, but the “uncommon” censored bars are only 5/15 despite having everyone constantly working on their tasks since Thursday. Looks like it is going down to the wire on this one.

I must admit I’ve loved playing quest for ages now but I do have a couple of gripes I have to get off my chest –
1. I love family guy, NOT American dad. I know some people love it and I’m happy for them and I hope an American dad game comes out for them to enjoy, should I expect a will n grace addition next month?
2. I’ve always hated those a-holes who complain about not getting as much as the people who pay for additions, well what about those of us who don’t mind throwin some coin in for some added fun? So far none of the things I’ve paid for have done anything past their missions. Now I just have loads of extra people to continually tap day in, day out (alien, predator, Patrick Stewart etc), cant something be done with these outer space legends (apart from hide them away in my dirty little storage box)?
Just my thoughts as I’m getting a little bored of the game FYI x

My suggestion is to give them feedback. Let them know your thoughts. I have to say, especially with American Dad…I am happy to see buildings AND Characters from Con now being reused for item drops. They are listening. 😉

I think a Cleveland Show addition is more likely than Will and Grace.
Family Guy, American Dad, and Cleveland Show are all in a shared universe, so crossovers make sense.
Oh, and Patrick Stewart was a quest character, not a clam character. You are thinking of Bryan Cranston or Nathan Fillion.
