THANKSGIVING HAS COME TO QUAHOG!! In order to see the new Thanksgiving content and quests, you must have District 3 unlocked. The first quest is called “I’m Feeling Gorge-ous” and Peter will start it off. Your first job will be to collect 5 Turkeys.
It’s a small little update with a few decorations and a new skin for Lois, Fat Lois.

Pretty small little Thanksgiving Update, perhaps (in true TinyCo fashion), maybe there’s more to come as Thanksgiving gets closer? Anyway..
Here’s what this little update contains:
Two new decorations for cash (shockingly no premium items…now THAT is something to be thankful for!):
Oven Lovin’ Turkey- $1,250 (you will be required to buy this as part of the questline)
Cornucopia Float- $2,000 (you will be required to buy this as part of the questline)
That’s it for new decorations…now as mentioned above there is a new skin for Lois…
Fat Lois!
You will have until Monday, December 1st (at approximately 3pm PST) to completely unlock Fat Lois. If she is not completely unlocked, she will disappear from the game at that time.
Collect STUFF to Unlock Fat Lois. Here’s what you’ll need:
40 Stuffing (Common)- Earned By: Clearing Turkeys
35 Spiked Pumpkin Latte (Common)- Earned By: Make Jerome Host Happy Hour OR Make Quagmire Giggity Strut OR Make Peter Hang Out At the Clam OR Make Buzz Killington Drink at the Clam.
20 Turkey Legs (Rare)- Earned By: Make Mort Swallow Jewels OR Make Stewie Practice a Dinner Toast OR Make Lois Roast a Turkey OR Make Falconer Peter Fetch a Turkey Leg OR Make Bonnie Bake a Sad Casserole OR Make Francine Cook a Steak Dinner OR Get by Clearing Turkeys
5 Pecan Pies (Extra Rare)- Earned By: Make Meg Scarf Down Hot Dogs OR Make Quagmire Enjoy Carrots OR Make Chris Eat a Large Ham OR Get by Clearing Turkeys
Turkey Spawn Rate: (Per in-game FAQs) “Once you start the quest “I’m Feeling Gorge-ous Pt. 1″ 5 Turkey Squatters will spawn immediately. After that, one Turkey will spawn every 1.5 hours for a maximum of 5 in your game at a time.”
After you’ve unlocked Fat Lois, the Turkeys will drop coins instead of materials. They will continue to spawn through the end of our Thanksgiving celebration in Quahog.
And that my friends is it…hopefully just for now…for Thanksgiving!

I didn’t know that this was timed and suddenly the Fat Lois skin had disappeared from my game

When us click on another town it says I need to update. I’m on a kindle and can’t fiqure it out. Any suggestions.

Your neighbor is most likely using Android or iOS…and have a higher version than you. The update for Kindle will hopefully be out soon. Amazon, for whatever reason, has been delaying updates lately.

My turkeys are only dropping coins but I still need 3x stuffing to get fat Lois…is this a glitch or am I being forced to use clams?

No glitch. Once one item is completed collecting it’s replaced by coins. The other drops do not change their rate. So you’ll see a mix of both coins and materials.

fat peter has to be bought using gold clams from the thanksgiving mystery box, and then unlocked at Al’s and then created for 10 minutes.

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but my turkey squatters are now dropping coins even though I haven’t unlocked Fat Lois yet. Oh no I still need stuffing!

You can now get stuffing from Mort serving fatty brisket & Peter raising the roof. Mort serving fatty brisket is now one of his tasks in my game, but I can’t figure out how to get Peter to raise the roof. I continue to get a message that says, “make Peter do this, then make Peter do that.” Not sure if it’s a task I need to unlock for Peter during a quest or if it’s a task that requires a premium item, building or anything else premium. Do you have any info to enlighten me?

You CAN’T use Peter’s task. It wasn’t supposed to be there yet. It was an oops. All will make sense…soon.

Two task have been added that drop stuffing. Mort’s brisket task and a task for Peter to raise the roof but I cannot find the task. Also thanks for all the helpful information on your site.

“The events, such as American Dad, Intimate Apparel Peter and Thanksgiving, should not be update or device specific. Kindle players should be seeing these events as long as they have District 3 unlocked and start the quests”

I’m playing on Kindle and Fat Lois has been available. The American Dad! event however did require an update to start for me.

Haven’t been able to play on kindle for a week keeps popping up saying need to upgrade game but there is nothing in store to update. So been playing on phone

First Intimate Apparel Peter, and now this one. Having unlockable things that “secretly” disappear isn’t “challenging”; it’s careless and lazy and TinyCo should know better.

They mainly do that during HUGE Events. Not on just weekend items. Weekend events have been, pop ups, in game FAQ, Facebook, and Twitter
