In this lil game of ours, it is easy to get lost and so focused into collecting items or unlocking characters that we tend to forget the lil things that make the game what it is. Like Where the HELL did these items come from and why are they in our games?
Well I am here to do just that for you. Let’s take a look at the Family Guy Series and find out just Where The HELL Did That Come From?
In this post, I will be covering the Origin of Stripper Bonnie. Does Joe know she was a stripper? Was she doing it to pay her way through College? Let’s take a look at the TV Episodes to find out.
Season 10, Episode 23: Internal Affairs
After making a really high profile drug bust, Joe is given a great party by the Chief. Bonnie does not seem amused or to care and doesn’t want to go to the party. Joe is feeling down that Bonnie doesn’t want to support him. Meanwhile, a new recruit shows at the party named Nora. She looks up to Joe as a hero. So much so she even makes a move on Joe at the party and kisses him. This throws Joe for a loop. Peter and Quagmire however encourage him to step out on Bonnie, as she has already done to him. Like that one time in Paris.
Back at the Quahog Police Station, Nora apologizes to Joe for the kiss. Just then Bonnie calls and sounds disappointed Joe was on the line. She meant to call someone else. It makes Joe even sadder to feel so rejected by Bonnie, so Joe throws in the towel and takes of with Nora.
Back at the Swanson’s, it is their son Kevin’s birthday party. Joe tells Peter and Quagmire he went through with it and hooked up with Nora while changing the baby, but now he feels guilty. Of course Bonnie heard the entire thing as the baby monitor was on in the room. She storms in and tells Joe off. He chases her back into the living room where the party is. Joe tells her that she shouldn’t be upset due to what happened in Paris. We then learn that Peter misheard what Lois told him and that Bonnie did not sleep with Francois. The fight escalates and Bonnie and Joe end up wanting a divorce.
Outside the Swanson’s, Joe is packing up the moving van. He tells Peter this was going to happen anyway as him and Bonnie have grown apart. He then exclaims there is now way he would have ended up like this. Not after they first met. Cut scene to a flashback from the 80’s. Bonnie is working at the Fuzzy Clam and Joe is with the cops raiding the strip joint. He lays his eyes on Bonnie and they fall in love, while she gives him a dance.
Peter figures if they can recreate this scene, they can get Bonnie and Joe back together. So Lois takes Bonnie to lunch at the Fuzzy Clam while Peter calls in to the police to dispatch Joe there. They que up their song, Africa by Toto. Joe bursts in to see Bonnie, hears the music, and remembers. He apologizes to Bonnie for what he did and turns to leave. She offers him a lap dance, but he declines. He would like to give her one instead.
There you have it. A flashback of how two people met and not only do we get a new Character Costume for Bonnie, but also a scene pulled out of the series for a task that Joe does. This skin was from ComicCon 2014 event. I don’t remember the stripper pole costing 25 clams though. Maybe with all the clams they were giving us I totally blanked on buying it. Really wish the Champagne Room task was shorter as I don’t like to send characters on tasks that are longer than 4 hours unless there is some benefit like collecting stuff. It has to do with how these games are set up. The shorter tasks pay more than a comparable longer one. So two 1 hour tasks by same character nets you more than one 2 hour task. So I see it as wasting my time for less profit. (Though since I have over 1.5 million coins you would think I could just send them off long term and not worry. Guess that’s the cheapskate in me or I have been burned by a TC surprise skin drop and want to be close to hitting ground running when they drop).
