So we are getting reports of ALL sorts of things going on in the game. Everything from items reappearing to Consuela not letting us in the game.
So first off, the crashing. We are well aware of Consuela hijacking our games. It may be due to EVERYONE is just now waking up and realizing the update DID hit over night. So right now it is a mad rush of traffic to the servers. Hang in there. Give it a lil time. Allow the flow to slow down a bit.
Now for the fun “New” Decorations.

What device are you playing on? It’s a massive update and I know not every device will load it. (especially older ones)

what makes me chuckle is my galaxy tab 3 wont load past the blue splash screen, while my 4 year old htc desire hd loads the game but its super slow and totaly unplayable to the point it just crashes out due to low memory.

I’ve been trying to log into the game since 10am, and all I get is a message saying I can’t connect to the server and to wait 10 seconds and retry. I’ve forced closed and restarted my phone and it still wont work. Please help.

Unistalled and reinstalled and still does not work. Now I dont know if I completely lost my game or not. Wasnt sure if I ever logged in to my google+ account

My game won’t allow me to purchase clams.. the little squirrel just runs around forever and never let’s me purchase. When I try to report it in game my game freezes and crashes. What should I do?

Sounds like you have a connection/signal issue. How is your WiFi?

It’s strong. This has been going on since the launch of the Christmas event. I figures it was just overloaded servers at first but I haven’t seen anyone else report it.

We see it a lot. Usually connection or the app. I usually suggest a few things to try. Force Close. Restart device. Try also loggin out of app market, restart, and logging back in. See if it is the app market having a temp issue

Hello. I just had a question. I am trying to open up my Striped Gift Box (the one that you need Santa Lois for). When I click the checkmark then the open now button, Consuela shows up saying “Child Name ModelBG Not Found”. When I click ok it has to reopen the app. I have a picture but don’t know how to post it. Is this a known bug? Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for the help!! You have been very helpful for all the events and I really appreciate it! Happy Holidays!

I cant finish “wild wild mayor west Pt 3”. When I click on brian to do the fact check it doesn’t tick it off, even when I click it directly from the link on the left hand side panel. 😦

My buildings are all south east of their original place, really annoying, over roads and in the ocean. Not tiny, but just warped to another place. More people have this glitch?

Try hard closing, clearing your cache, uninstall and reinstall. Make sure you have an account to save your game first..

There’s only 1 gift per day that you can get…do you have other gifts there each day? Or nothing’s showing up at all?

Nothing’s showing up at all. We were able to give each other a gift, but nothing showed up at either of our Quahogs.

The orphanage’s animation is off. Smoke comes out of the chimneys but they don’t line up with the chimneys. That’s if you leave it in default position (front facing south), but if you turn it so the front faces east (the right of your screen) then the smoke stays where they were and the building had turned. So they REALLY don’t line up.

is it just me? but all my character’s voices are gone when i press them. or when i collect from buildings the sound effects are gone as well. the game music still plays its just the voices and the collection sounds that are gone 😦

Could be a load error. Try a full hard close and reload it see if that helps. If that doesn’t contact TinyCo and let them know what’s going on…at that point you can also try an uninstall and reinstall.

i tried a hard close twice as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the game. still no luck. i also contacted tinyco. hopefully this issue can be resolved. i am able to play the game it’s just the sound effects that are gone. i also noticed that there are some glitches in the inventory as well

I literally haven’t been able to log in to the game for over 24 hours. Just getting Consuela. I deleted it from my phone and reinstalled it but it’s taken me back to level 1 and won’t connect via facebook. I left it as it was on my iPad but still just getting Consuela. Emailed TinyCo but no response. Help please! Is it because I placed the old boom box which was clearly a glitch?

Is Facebook the way it was originally logged in? Do you have multiple Facebook accounts that you log in and out of, like a separate for the game that maybe you are NOT on within your device?

Depends. They are not there on the weekends…bout 3 business days on average. Depends on issue. Look for auto responses too.

Hello all
Sent a heads up to TinyCo.
Gave a present to my wife’s town this morning and she never received it… She sent one to me getting close to an hour ago and I have not received.
Does TinyCo know if we are naughty or nice? I for one like to be nice and extremely naughty (which said naughtiness makes my wife feel nice)
Either way… We want our Gifts!!!! Anyone else having this problemo?

Sometimes this happens. The gifts should be in your inventory. Check your entire inventory for something new…should be there 🙂

Hey guys, been completely locked out of my game, it was constantly saying “connect to server” and not going past the loading screen, so did troubleshooting, upon reinstalling my game the option to connect to fb doesn’t work, it just does the loading television and then puts me back to normal 😦 have reported it but with it being a weekend I don’t expect a response until Monday at the earliest. Is there anything timed that I could potentially miss out on come this Friday wen the new week hits on Friday? That’s the only thing I’m massively worried about (addict over here haha) xxx

I’m not 😦 I got a automated response yesterday to my message I sent them, basically with some troubleshooting tips on how to get back on, but for me they don’t work because the options they are giving me aren’t showing in my game. I’ll copy & paste it now.

Ok so it won’t let me copy and paste. But the gist of it was to log out of fb and log back in, but my game has me put down as “guest” and there was no option to log out of fb 😦

If you are unable to view your Facebook friends or invite friends to the game, please make sure to download v1.5 and then follow these steps:
Go to the Account Info page and write down the 32-digit code in the bottom right corner of the screen. This is your PlayerID, which can be used to locate your game if your game gets lost.
Press the blue ‘Delete Facebook’ button.
Go to facebook.com and revoke access to Family Guy app. (This itself is a 3 step process. https://www.facebook.com/help/170585223002660)
Come back to Family Guy and reconnect your game to your Facebook profile.

Is anyone else having sound issues? No voices, nothing when collecting coins. Only audible is the Family Guy theme song. Performed all recommended troubleshooting tips and reported to TinyCo.

All you can do is wait and see what they say. I find force closing and restarting at times helps. Also…check your sound settings in the menu.

I have a Halloween skin for Griffin house in my inventory that has the name of some object from the moon event. I can use the skin then it reappears with a different name.

This game is really getting on my nerves, I keep hoping with every update it might get better but with tipical TinyCo fashion it constantly freezes. I sometimes wished that TinyCo could use some tips from EA on running a game I’ve had a minimal amount of problems from tsto. And yes I’ve tried all those game fix ideas to no avail. Please fix !
