I am going to miss Lois’ “Clear Mall Santas” task when the event is over. I hope they keep the task and have the “Santa” pop up like Cleveland’s dance task dancers or Stewie’s “Benny Hill” parties.

It has been 5 days since the event came out and I still do not have the lois costume. This is seriously p***ing me off now. I tried to buy clams last night and kept getting declined. What else am I meant to do? I want to start the event properly and I can’t because of 1 f***ing costume! ARGHH!

With the addition of all this new land they keep giving us, they need to expand the zoom out feature. I feel like I waste a lot of time panning all over the place now.

Sent Tinyco a question after Cyber Monday pointing out a few friends and I were ready to buy a good amount of clams if there was a nice deal. They wrote back pretty much anything was possible (ie I see them throwing something in with the normal purchase I dont need in the future instead of taking a oercent off or adding more clams for the money) Either way if you want a special or sale please write them in game telling them this.
As with others Lois is dropping rather slow on her item. Looking at prizes one is 300 cookies….pretty much a “we will take your five dolls and you get nothing!! I say goodday…I SAID GOOD DAY!!! ..” kinda gift
Getting weird Glitches telling me to visit friends towns..but I check friends towns I already have been there… WHY ARE YOU TAUNTING ME RED APOSTROPHE! !!
Friends text me they dropped a gift in my town..mostly takes a day after that to get…what up wit dat!!
Been pretty awesome so far and thinking the secret premium characters they had in the past two events will drop soon..like everyone else thinking Kiss so they can save Santa…but the cave makes me think Abominable Snowman…we will see
Also noticed the people freaking about anything/everything comments are down..which is cool. The everything is a clamgrab/this can’t be done without clam crew get annoying. Just a hint for anyone/everyone right now..odds are if they create a supercool character/person/creation it will be for clams…Why? Because they are a business and need income I know the next question is why does it always have to be something cool that is for clams…well odds are you don’t want it…no-one else will either.
Anyway ladies great job as always and keep the info coming!! You are the reason most people aren’t wasting clams and getting timed items easily…besides so much more..Thank you!!

Not gonna post this in the WTH thread, because it just is what it is…
But there are some seriously sick ad photos on this site. All I get to see are photos of ugly skin diseases and ear wax. Sure takes extra effort to not look at any of the ads when I come to visit this site.

Unfortunately, we have zero control over the ads that appear. They’re all set by Word Press. I can tell you though…what you see is based on YOUR search engine history. So everyone sees something different…

I know that is the standard response. But I use private mode and clear my cache & cookies and relaunch my browser after every time I log into an account. My only thought is that if my history wasn’t wiped clean the ads would match my search. But maybe with no history the ads just go to a default. Or else some gremlin is using my iPad to do some strange searches without my knowledge.
It is kinda funny and somewhat fits in with the level of humor with FG. So I am always thinking what gross ad will show up.

anyone else have trouble collecting the empty perfume bottles for mayor west gift basket? they are supposed to be common but i have maxed out on the other two kinds of bottles and am stuck on the second round of those grey ones 😢

I love the event not so much for Christmas but because I got time to unlock mayor west I started out late in the game so now i don’t have to rush to get him and I’m not missing out on the new district. Thanks tiny co for slowing down a little bit I was going insane. Ya know I’m an addict 😀

Why do I always feel like a failure when I’m playing. I rarely get all skins and prizes. I wanted the ecto so bad. Didn’t get it. However in simpsons tapped out I usually get everything. Can’t the design of this game be a bit simpler. It’s just a game.

This Patriots’ game is way too close for me. I’ve been typing this over a couple of breaks so I don’t miss anything (they just scored a TD yay!). In-game I’m about to finish repairing the train station. If I don’t tap the check, will I have time to get more items before the timer starts? I want to have at least one item from the striped box before I start the timer, I already have the Greek restaurant.

Yes, if you don’t tap it the timer won’t start. (Remember though it’s a 7 day timer)

Thanks, that’s what I thought but I’ve never delayed a timer before. I know we get a week but I want to make it as stress-free as possible. Between the two games any break I can get I’ll take. I’m sure you two know the feeling!

just go to yahoo, create a new email account you plan to use for gaming, then sign up for facebook you plan to use for gaming, leave all personal stuff and shit blank. Then you can ‘safely’ use facebook on all the mobile games and stuff without fear of accidentally spamming you family and friends with requests to like or rate or download crap, AND still do the friends thing.
There is a thread on this site for adding friends… just did it last week and have a bunch now. Gave 3 presents so far but didn’t get any back yet… still you get stuff for just dropping them, theres that.

When I tried to play today the app asked for my iTunes password and wouldn’t let me play until I gave it twice. Once on start up and the second time on the loading screen. Is this normal?

Cool I just got 15 clams giving a present most I got before was 2. i’m gonna def keep on doing it. What’s the most u can get? Also I just seen they added 300 cookies to the 2nd red present. Hope u can only win it once like the other prizes n it don’t stay up there cuz that b bull well unless u got everything already but I don’t. Does anybody know where I could go to see the dialogue in quest lines? I wasn’t able to finish all of the Alien Inside Me quest parts. I would like to find the dialogue from those parts. I like the dialogue parts and they make me laugh. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Dear Tinyco,
I have been a player of your game since its release on the Amazon App Store all those months ago and have enjoyed it. But there’s one thing I’d really, really like for Christmas if possible:
A way to turn off the drag & drop of characters.
It’s a neat little feature at first, but with the button in the upper left corner to cycle through the citizens who are lollygagging around it’s kind of redundant. Not to mention how irritating it can get to try panning the camera and ending up dragging an unseen Bruce around like some malicious deity.

I had a great idea for a new reality show. Pimp my Quahog. We turn our towns over to Allissa and Bunny and they get to use our coins and clams and redecorate our towns. Then they film our reactions to the big unveiling. They could even do stunts and trivia to “earn” more decorations or time. What do you think?

Mine could be best described as “random”. The move function does not work very well for me so most buildings are just stuck where ever the game first sticks them.

I’ve found that the move works better if you zoom in first, especially for the smaller decorations. I guess it’s really demanding for drag accuracy.

I just got Xmas Lois today and purchased the ginger bread house, thought may as well takes some pressure off collecting gingerbread men. I don’t like how long it takes to clear mall santas but I will get over it.

I love Christmas! Loving the secret Santa gifts and I hope anyone who has received one from me has liked what they got! I have loved opening mine. I could happily open more than one a day but it’s probably best that you can only get one every 24hours or I would blaze through them too quickly (assuming friends were sending them to me of course!) my first one arrived 2 days ago but only in the evening so I am like an impatient child waiting for 8pm to come round every day! If I could have one Christmas wish though, it would be for TinyCo to let us buy things from events that those of us who started playing later missed out on along the same lines as them bringing back some comic-con items for thanksgiving: Stars and Skates anyone? Pretty please TinyCo! 😉

Question – why is it that every time I click on the part to tells me how far I have to go until the next level, the number of gingerbread men I need goes up? I’m currently up to 1700+ gingerbread men to reach level 3. I’ll never get there!

That’s your total Gingerbread collection number and doesn’t have anything to do with the game’s HC. Its just a number stat. I wish TinyCo made it like Blam where total Gingerbread awards prizes. I don’t know why they stopped doing this.

That second box is the total number of gingerbread men cookies you have collected during the event, not how many you need to level up. You only need the holiday cheer.

I just had Steve level up and it said Stan leveled up. Everyone is complaining about the weather saying it’s cold. It’s 46 degrees today. This spring when it was 46 these same people were busting out their T-shirts. Went X-mas shopping yesterday and the line to Bath and Body was almost out the door. Stayed that way the whole 3 hours we were at the mall. My relatives are just going to have to smell bad for a while. And that’s it. 🙂 Enjoying the event 4 dresses away from Sexy Santa.
