An all new event has hit our Tiny Quahogs and it’s Christmas in Quahog and Santa has come to Spooner Street! During this first phase of the event there’s a Sexy Santa Lois to create, Pageants to put on, clams to be won and a whole lot more!
So let’s take a look at the quick walkthrough for Phase 1 of Christmas…and just exactly what you’ll need to do to get through the first part of the holidays….

The Cheer Level tasks will keep popping up as you run through the Event. Each Level will earn you that many clams….(so 3 clams for Level 3, 4 for Level 4 etc). These max out at Level 10.
Something for Everyone

Complete the Wish List to get Santa– This will be an ongoing task throughout the entire event. As some prizes are in gift boxes not yet released.
Each Wish List item you complete…you’ll earn 1 Clam
And that completes the main questlines that will popup during phase 1 of Quahog Christmas! (We’ll cover Jasper in another post)

My game triggered Both ‘Give Me A Sign’ and ‘Do You Want A Built Snowman?’ At the same time. Needless to say, it was impossible to complete both tasks in 4 days, so I won’t be getting it either.

I do not have sexy santa Lois unlocked yet. Will the challenge for their sign still trigger or since it has moved on phase 2 have I miseed their oppurtunity? Also, I have question marks for the weekly challenge prizes where I am guessing there is supposed to be a picture. Is that normal? Thanks in advance for your reply

Yes. It will still trigger for you, after you’ve unlocked her.
The ? marks will disappear after the challenge for that week is triggered.

Thanks for posting, at least I can read about it. Since the update, I keep getting the “button close ” error and haven’t made it passed the task to check out the hub.

Just started playing about 2 weeks ago and just unlocked lois to start the miracle on spooner street quest. However I finished wrapping and opening all holiday gift boxes before getting to part 4. I can no longer make the holiday gift boxes and stuck on part 4. Sent an ingame message but afraid itll get lost and unanswerwd due to the storm crazyness over there right now. Will I be stuck on part 4 forever?

Many have ran into this. Hang in there. They are working on a fix. Report it from your game in the meantime.

well, since i just started playing this game for like late last month, i havent unlock Seamus and Meg. So with that being sad, i guess i can’t complete the tasks when it come to the one that needs Seamus to do cartwheel. sighs.

i love this event! i’m definitely enjoying every minute of it! i think TinyCo. is doing such a great job planning this out so far. it’s only the beginning and i feel like the event is gonna get even MORE awesome as new stuff is released in thee next weeks. so excited! 😀 i don’t have a single problem to complain about AT ALL right at this moment(honestly,i never really complained at all about this entire game since i started playing.)

I’m having about a one in five ratio for doll stocking to mall Santa clearing rate; as others have suggested, this is going to make getting Jasper difficult with everything else that is going on.

TinyCo sent me an automated reply to a question, and in the response it said that Ollie is supposed to gift a present every day so that people without friends in the game can still get presents. I’ve only gotten 1 from Ollie. Me no likey.

It’s actually not every day. There’s no set formula for it…and you’ll randomly get presents from him. Just not every day.

I see that this is true. When I emailed TinyCo asking about my missing gifts, I got a reply saying that the last email had faulty info and Ollie will only gift randomly. What a bummer. They got my hopes up for nothing!

Real addicts hid their addiction from their friends, they don’t invite them to play!! Is there a twelve step program for this game? I’m getting up every two hours to start tasks. Something is wrong with me. I need help 😳

The first Xmas gift box disappeared from my town a couple of days ago, but the Santa’s keep the stockings to make it, I have around 40 right now. Was it supposed to disappear and if so why are the Santa’s still dropping them. I’ve asked TinyCo but got a generic response that had nothing to do with the gift box

I just noticed a short while ago after making 3 of the low end gift boxes and receiving all presents but the cookies that it’s now locked. Does that have something to do with the faulty image and lack of cookie drop errors people have mentioned?

If the cookies are your last prize the box closes out. It’s like a bonus item. If you get cookies before your last prize you get another “free” try.

I find the clearing mall santa action for sexy santa Lois is not working like past events and is rarely dropping dolls, i should have at least double and meanwhile my timer for Jasper is running out!

Red Stockings for clearing Santa are not dropping at a feasible rate. I’m 1 for 6 so far which makes trying to get Jasper a great challenge.

Definitely needs to have an always drop. I have had Lois 2 days and was only able to make one present which finished about an hour ago. So now I am looking at 10 hours minimum for doll drops before next chance to get another gift and will pray for dance studio, just so I can have Jasper tomorrow. But as current drop rate applies I am assuming at earliest late tomorrow for just getting next gift. Maybe Jasper will be unlocked by next phase this Thursday.

Agreed, I’d put the red stockings at epic right now. I’ve been running Lois on the Mall Santa task full time for two and a half days (that’s 30 tries) only have enough red stocking for one gift. I hope the drop rate picks up as I’m not going to start repairing the train station until I have both items that I need from this task.

And how stupid is it that the one (fremium) thing you can do to double your effort is to GET JASPER! Up there for thinking, tinyco!

Ditto. But I am embarrassed of my town (it’s too messy. I still have my Halloween maze (which doesn’t quite line up with the Christmas path) and only 2 street blocks), so I am too afraid to try having friend towns.

Me too. So far I have given Ollie 3 secret Santa gifts and he has only given me one. Doesn’t he know it’s better to give than to receive? Has anyone else received more than one gift from Ollie?

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but you can also get Mistletoe from the Christmas Drunken Clam. Probably a coincidence, but it seemed to have a better drop rate for me than Peter and Quagmire’s tasks 🙂
