Just got my new Android phone and i was wondering if they still put iPhone/Android exclusive stuff in the game. I think the last time it was the green ghost quest in the Ghostbusters event, which was Android only. Would be awesome if you guys could dedicate a thread for this kind of thing each event 🙂

I haven’t seen anything yet for this update. Halloween was the last one with Slimer, but it was minimal. Only ongoing one is Gold Peter on iOS. And there are posts on the only ones we have seen since launch of game. Thing is, they are not really “exclusive” as if you even borrow a device from a friend and start the character, they transfer over to the opposite device.

Just managed to get only one of buildings to unlock Jasper. I haven’t unlocked the second one in time an now he’s gone 😦 WHY TINYCO! Why timed task for new characters 😦 Very sad 😦

I have neighbors who have Holiday Building Skins for The Swanson Home and Quagmire’s House. How do I get those? I’ve opened every gift box, including the Silver Clam one. No prizes left to win and all 3 are locked. I’ve received several gifts from friends, but haven’t seen the skins listed amongst the prizes. Can you tell me where they’re from? Thanks in advance!

So one of my neighbors has demented elves running through her town. Any idea how/where they come from? I want demented elves!!!! Also really upset I didn’t read the cheat sheet about the yeti before starting it. Meh. Not a fan of when they do these types of missions. They had the stay puff man, mutant stewie, and I feel like there was another one we had to keep killing…. Anyway I think it’s a time waisted that doesn’t give you anything

Ugh spent all day trying to beat chilish yeti and missed it by 2 hp. Just frustrating cuz the last two battles only yielded one hp from lois and mort. The odds are against u with childish yeti if u only have mort and lois

I am liking this event. I like the yeti, its different. My only complaint, I hate the 4 hours in between Yeti kills.

What I want to know is where are the additional holiday cheer unlocks are at such as Procrastinators and whatever comes after. Sitting at level 7 and it seems the last one to be active was level 4, More Mall Santas.

i kinda wish they would put the yeti-attacking actions at the top of the list like the quest actions and the item-actions. i keep forgetting to have lois and mort attack the yeti since there’s it’s not at the top of the list :-\

Just want to whine a little about trading clams for cookies in the silver gift box. 3 times in a row 225 clams for 225 stinking cookies! Already have about 18000! couple pretty lame prizes in there for the cost. Duplicates on premium crap sucks! Other than that still totally addicted! And loving it.

I know it seems silly but I feel compelled to have Jesus & Santa by the 25th. I know the event goes past Christmas, but it seems kinda pointless to not have J & S for “the big day”. Jesus will be doable. Santa – need them to release more gift boxes.

Just recently found out that season 5 of MLP won’t air until spring 2015. I was waiting for the new year, cause I was hoping it will start near the beggining of the year and now I have to wait at least 2 and a half months. So bored, I might do something productive (probably not, just gonna sit on youtube).
As for the game, I truly hope they’ll introduce kevin mcalister in this christmas update.
I love the christmas spirit, but hate snow and cold weather. I don’t know why, just do. Spending most of my free time during winter inside due to that. Slowly waiting for snow to melt, so I could ride my bike again. Currently there is no snow on the ground where I live and I’m secretly hoping it won’t come either. I actually love the snow in games during christmas updates. I think that what causes my hate towards the snow is the cold weather and hard walking conditions.
I’ve actually got a birthday coming up before christmas, so I guess there is something closer to look forward to, but what I truly want in my heart is spring.

I am still bemused by my Fremium game getting Roger and Hanukka Mort 24 hours before my Premium game. My Premium game even got Death Roe Caviar first and still game last for Mort.

Loving the event so far. Have gotten all the new gifts from the gift box, unlocked Mort’s outfit this evening. Almost to Cheer Level 8 and now working on collecting cookies and snowflakes for Jesus.
In the real world gratefully have finished all Christmas shopping and wrapping. All I have left to do it pick up one gift on Wednesday that I ordered and get my Christmas baking done (which should take a few days).

About to get Hannukah Mort (3 shields left). Just started the Yeti challenge as the Cowboy Yeti will show up in an hour, so I’ll give myself until 1 AM. When the times comes before I’ll go to bed, I’ll send Lois to attack the Cowboy Yeti overnight. When I wake up, the Cowboy Yeti hopefully will be down to 8 HP while I get at least 2/3 shields, so I can spend a minimum of 10 clams to get Hannukah Mort, then I’ll send both Lois and Mort to continue the attack.

Got to send mort to attack the yeti while it was recharging so when it changed to cowboy yeti I had 1 minute to wait for mort to finish and he took off 2 health points!!!

Im going on a month long holiday to europe in less than 1 day! My family guy game will suffer but at least I’ll be having fun 😀

I have this strange fear that comes with christmas. Its never happened to me and it probably never will (nock on wood) because I dont think people do it much anymore but here it is, CAROLERS! I honestly dont know what I would do if one day im eating taco bell and trying to watch the new fg episode and I get a knock, open the door and people start singing to me. That we ould be so awkward sinse I could probably only fake joy for a about 45 seconds. Thank god for peep holes but they arent 100%. Do people actually do this or is it just in old corny christmas movies?

I have a big NO F??KIN CAROLERS sign on my door… It replaces the NO F??KIN TRICK OR TREATERS sign each year. My neighbourhood actually has them because it is a very olde English neighbourhood. I like seeing the looks on their faces from my security cameras when they read it 😀

Yes. Every event people scream IMPOSSIBLE and every event MORE is introduced to help earn the items needed and EVERY event in the end…people scream they were left with TOO much of the main items. Lol.
So…all I got to say is play the game and see how YOU acquire them. How many daily and go from there.

Definitely doable. I have almost 9000 cookies already and if you cana at the moment get to the 3rd level of the yeti and keep getting him beat you can have the 100 snowflakes in 9 days. This doesn’t take into account that there are two more locked levels for the yeti that will give even larger cookie and snowflake prizes.
It is like the Comic-Con (George Takei) and Halloween (Mr. Weed) event. Both of these characters seemed impossible. But most people got them by the end. These characters are long term goal for the event not immediate gratification goal. Work hard and be patient and you can do it.

Right now I have a little over 8000 cookies and 12 snowflakes, and I just unlocked Hannukah Mort. By the time the next update hits I should be able to add another 40 by defeating the yeti four more times. Having John really helps out, if you’re willing/able to buy him. Plus when the next update hits the yeti will be upgraded again. If you can keep up a good yeti streak you should have no problem getting the snowflakes for Jesus. As an aside, I never thought I’d ever write a sentence about getting snowflakes for Jesus.

You can do 1 to 2 damage every attack, you have 24 hrs, and it’s 4 hrs each attack, that means 6 attacks, if your lucky you can get 12 damage, and the yeti is 18 in health, this dosent seem freemium friendly, 😦 nervous about how much it will take to beat the next two yetis, like that their giving us time to get Jesus, just feel left also with nothing else to do and bored for the next few days, till the tree updates, not complaining just a real thought running through my mind I mean I got John, cause I’m a huge die hard fan, so I should be fine and all, evil tempters lol I can’t wait till the new area unlocks!!!!

Childish Yeti looks impossible with just Lois, but not once you’ve unlocked Mort. Higher tiers will be harder again, so I guess other characters will be able to fight yetis, or another mechanism will be added so that free players will be able to defeat them. Unlocking Jesus will surely be achievable by free players, but it may take another couple of weeks. It’s early days still… 🙂

I got Hanukkah Mort yesterday, decided to get John also. Working on defeating Childish Yeti for the second time. Got to get those snowflake socks for Jesus.
When I’m on the FB page of FGTQFS, I’m always telling someone to visit your website for useful information. Can’t beleive they just go to FB for answers when Both of you girls are so helpful. Of course…some of them (complainers) I wouldn’t want here. They can get down right nasty.

Lol. Well…we don’t allow them here. Main reason we moderate our sites, we do NOT want it looking like the FB page does. It is madness. So much hate and violence over something that is supposed to be fun and bring smiles and giggles.
We get life is not fair and not everything will be perfect or go the way we want, but that is what makes life FUN to me. The challenges, the community, helping each other, and playing a game together with …well…complete strangers. HAHAHAHAH
TinyCo REALLY is into their community and listening to players. They have made a great game. Hiccups in it, yes…but overall…still a great game to play. And the dialog…OMG!! Lol
It is that age old point…there will always be winners and losers, it is how you lose that shows what kind of person you really are. Lol 😉

Got Hanukkah Mort yesterday afternoon, won all the prizes from the Silver Gift Box, plus created all prizes in Holiday, Stripped, and Snowflake Gift Box, and brought the skin for Morts Pharmacy so had a LOT of ways to earn his items which really helped. I just beat this weeks challenge too, having Bruce, Mort, and Lois should help me keep the streak on Childish Yeti, so I should get Jesus iPhone time this week.
Christmas wise, I’ve got nearly everything brought, just got to get a few more things, which I’ll get tomorrow, then will wrap everything on Tuesday, ,I love this time of year!

Now, for my question. Is there a way to see what each characters are up to? It takes me forever to find Lois chasing the mall Santas away… same thing for characters I sent on quests 10 hours ago. It would be cool to bring up a list, and see what they’re up to, where, and how much time is left in their tasks. Maybe it’s already done, maybe it’s a suggestion for TinyCo.

If you just want to find characters, like Lois, it is easy to do… just go to Al Harrington’s, find your character, click on Use Now and it will take you directly to them and the task they are currently performing. It only works for characters with skins though.

Anyone figure out ther drop rate/odds for Jesus’ “turn water into clams” task yet? Just wondering how aggressively I should pursue him, and if it’s possible to average 5 clams per week with his task, it might be worth spending 200 now to get john.

It is random and I doubt they will release the exacts…just like the rarity of item drops. No % listed. So the drop will vary by player.

Not too happy with this event. I feel like I’ve bought too much clam stuff. I don’t mind using my clam but this event isn’t even near being over and I only have 28 left. I bought Griffin house deco just because it looked nice. But then I bought a gingerbread house cause I panicked. Then I bought John McClane because I had no choice. I love when they have the clam special – buy clam get something free but I think 5 snowflakes is being cheap. I ranted…I feel better

Im super close to unlocking Hanukkah Mort! I REALLY want to just buy the clams and unlock him but wheres the “challenge” in that? I like to play without spending to see how far I can get ( plus im broke haha). I have to admid this phase two challenge seems impossible but we’ll see and I’ll keep you posted if I complete it without clams =)
