An all new event has hit our Tiny Quahogs and it’s Christmas in Quahog. Of course Christmas in Quahog means…KISS! After all they did save Christmas once before…
So let’s take a look at the quick walkthrough for Paul & Gene just what happens when you purchase them for your Quahog…
This questline will start before you purchase Gene or Paul (Part 1), but it will not continue to part 2 and beyond and unless you purchase them. You do not need both to complete either questline. However, if you purchase both you will get a bonus quest to pop up.

UPDATE BUNNY: Per TinyCo, as long as you have BOTH KISS Characters AND the KISS Stage… this tasks should kick off from Peter some point around “All About the Bass” Part 1 OR “Do You See What I See” Part 1. If you tapped too fast, you may have missed it as it is the two Characters INDIVIDUAL tasks that get the task completed. Beyond that, contact them from your game.

I have another question. I feel it might have been answered somewhere already but I just can’t seem to find it…
When Gene Simmons & Paul Stanley Rock Out they earn 25 clams.
Is this only during the Christmas event or can you start it anytime? If this is only during the Christmas event, as long as you start them off before the event ends you will receive the clams even if they finish rocking out after the event ends, correct? Or do they have to finish before the event ends? I know I won’t get the cookies & HC, that’s ok… Just worried about the clams.

It is Event linked, so I would suggest to do it during the event. There is no indication at all that any questlines will continue beyond the event as of right now. Sorry.

Yes, unfortunately I can confirm that. I started them playing around 1pm PST and finished them a moment ago, and no claims. Bah humbug.

Well, it’s a nice idea with KISS being added as playable characters, but for me they’re too expensive at 300 clams (I currently have just under 400) when I can probably buy something more interesting in a couple of days. Looking forward to the New Year’s event now.

Can Bunny pass on a sugestion to tinyco about a game change.
Basicly i havy 4 open tasks ( 2 kiss, buy clams, puppy brian) stopping other tasks from opening,
Maybe they shoul have an opt out button for premium characters to save quest list

The “sale” tasks should not impact the others from opening. The only ones that should are main questlines and actual tasks. Hope that helps.

I had the bonus quest pop up after I got the stage and bought Paul, didn’t get Gene until a few days later, maybe TinyCo never thought someone would buy Paul first?

Hi addicts. First time poster, long time reader of posts! I’ve been finished the christmas event since 2 days after week 4 started. Been checking in everyday looking for an update! Does anybody else just wanna go find some plutonium and get that blimp going already?!!

You can comment on any post on the site, no need to find the most recent. If you want to “sign up” that is done through WordPress/Gravatar. But not required. You just have to fill out the comment section everytime if you don’t.
As for the Blimp, still the #1 thing asked for. 😉

Is there any way to have another KISSmas concert, or was that a one time thing? I positioned Gene and Paul near the stage and had them rock out, but too bad the stage doesn’t move unless you tap it repeatedly.

The Concert is just there task. Best thing to do is just put a patch of sidewalk right next to the stage, drag Gene and Paul over, and send them on their “Rock Out” tasks. That is all it was.

Dang. Mathematically, I will not get puppy Brian or Jesus. I refuse to get up every four hours in the middle of the night to battle yetis and the when I use furballs, I only get a stocking about one out of four kills. Oh well.

There is a “cheat” for bombing runs. You make a small pavement section surrounded by a maze. Then collect like 2 or three cycles of furbols (about 8-10 should be fine). Then go around and kill as many shoppers as you can while keeping 1 or 2 furbols. Log off and wait until you come back. As soon as you get control, get into bombing mode and move over the pavement section. There will be what looks like a small explosion when the shoppers spawn. Drop a bomb and you will kill up to 15 of them. It increases your odds for stockings and lowers bomb costs (as you can get 4 furbols every 4 hours). I know this is late for this event, it’s something you might want to keep in mind for future events.

Well i am glad i am done with this one (wipes sweat off tapped out thumb)
I do not think everyone could get everything without clams but for me it was worth buying!
TinyCo needs some kind of supplement to keep the game running and besides it was KISS and DIE HARD!
Now what do i do with a quarter million cookies (i cannot eat another bite) and half a million coins?
This event has surely Tapped me out this go round! 😉

Maybe they’ll release Ace Frehley and Peter Criss at another time. Out of 10 clams I’d give it a 6. The originality was boring…last 3 events have been the same format…I have no idea why John McClane was in a Family Guy Xmas event (Die Hard was from the Cleveland Show) and the Santa 100,000 cookies at the end was kind of a low blow. I gave higher than a 2/10 because I like KISS and Kiss saves Santa was a funny mini clip on the Show. Just my opinion. Love it, hate it…whatever. Peace

Am I the only one who didn’t get the concert quest for the 25 clams? Feels like summer all over again when I never got the boom box dropped, didn’t hear back from Tinyco until after the event ended and therefore did not get Koolaid man!!! Still quite upset about that one!!

Many (including the 5 people playing next to me) didn’t even realize they got it. Figured the “random” clams came from somewhere else. But when I went back through it with them, they did send the KISS characters on the “Rock Out” tasks, and like many players just tapped tapped tapped to clear the task checkmarks and paid no attention to the pop ups.

I bought both of them. I am a big Kiss fan so it was a no brainer for me.
It was funny. I started out with 80 clams and bought $5 worth to get Gene. Between a special deal I had, the secret bonus and the finishing th sets bonuses I ended up with over 300 clams after I bought him. I wish my bank account worked that way.

Bought both and think they’re great! Was able to beat the king yeti several times and get through the quest lines. Having six folks able to attack (I bought John too) really helped make quick work of the yeti. It also allowed flexibility with rotating folks out for quests.

No offense, but what does KISS have to do with Christmas? At least Die Hard took place during the holiday. We could have seen the Griswolds, from Christmas Vacation or a Home Alone tie-in. No big deal; I still had fun.

If you watched Family Guy…you’d realize it not only is revolved around them (Peter’s a HUGE KISS fan, Lois slept with Gene before he was famous) but also a major thing to Peter to NOT miss the Christmas Special each year, KISS Saves Santa. It’s a part of Family Guy AND Christmas. 😉

Well played Bunny lol. I was ecstatic when I saw Kiss in the game I kept saying why is this not a kiss saves santa event but of course tinyco comes through again. I had to explain the idea to my friends that dont watch family guy but for those that do even a little they knew what was up lol that bit of knowledge is like a right of family guy passage lol

It was season 3 episode 16. It was a called “A Special Family Guy Freaking Christmas”. Peter accidentally gives all the Griffin’s gifts to charity and so Lois and family have to go shopping to replace them while Brian stays home to watch the dinner cooking. Stewie hears that Santa knows when you are naughty or nice, so he decides to be good for a change. Anyways, the shopping is hell, Brian burns down much of the house (again Peter’s fault) and burns the dinner he was supposed to watch. Lois then loses her mind and goes on a rampage through town against Christmas. She ends up climbing the town Christmas tree and is darted buy Joe. During this whole episode, Peter is trying his best to see the “KISS saves Santa” special and see snippets here and there throughout.
