So just after Christmas, I decided to go shake down Santa. I knew that guy was packing, and boy did I get the goods. Lol.
What on earth am I rambling on about? Well about that silly lil Giveaway we had running for a week of course. Where were you?
I got to say we giggled so hard at a lot of the comments and responses. So many times we wanted to respond back, BUT…to try and not throw off the randomizer (by throwing a moderator in the comment streams)… we tried REALLY hard to keep our names out of the posts. Lot easier that way, I mean I love to win and all… BUT… I would rather give the goodies to YOU all then keep them. 😉
So I guess you are all Giggity Giggity Giddy with excitement wanting to know just WHO was able to get into Santa’s Sack? Well I suppose I could toss the names out there … maybe… 😉

Today, we want to know… What was your favorite gift when you were a child?
Rachel: Omg, I loved my Easy Bake Oven!!!! Sadly, those skills have not transfered into adulthood 😦 making cereal and toasting bread is still a skill right?…right!? *sigh* lol
Brian: My favorite gift as a child was family. I know it’s not something you can package up, purchase, or write on a list to Santa, but it was
the best part of my childhood and holiday years. It trumps all gadgets and gaming systems I ever received, especially because my family was fairly small (in comparison to many) and has sadly gotten smaller as I grew into an adult. I tried my darndest to pick just one thing that lit up my eyes on christmas morning, but honestly all i remember joyously beyond the presents were the presence (s).. The smiles, hugs, and laughter of those i will forever love and miss. I know this is out of the box and I may have colored outside the lines a bit, but this was my favorite gift, and always will be. Thank you to Bunny and Alissa for opening a thread for us to share fond childhood memories. Btw I am now 32 years old, and I still make Christmas wishes and truly believe 😉

I also got my Santa surprise today! A 2015 Day-to-Day Family Guy calendar!! Each day has a quote from a character… which I can’t help but hear the actual voice in my head. It will inspire me to watch that specific episode again. 🙂

that i actually did when I found out I won something from my favorite site! Thanks again to Bunny & Alissa or Alissa & Bunny ( anyone else ever have problems deciding who’s name to put first? Maybe being put into the randomizer and thrown through a virtual dimension jumbled my marbles… I’ll just sit in moderation for a few seconds, it’s like a big people time out). I know you both do an amazing amount of work to keep this place up and running, and many hours of sleep go missing, and just when it seems you are tapped out ( no pun intended ) you give even more! HAHAHAH it honestly does not matter what order we are in. To US… we are and always will be equals. For sum A & B as the alphabet… for others B & A …well… not gonna say why some said they like that order. AHAHAHAHAH
Either way… it makes no difference to me. I would think same for Alissa. We are just grateful to have this cool site and the Amazing readers that come to it around us.

You spoil us way too much hahaha! Even helped me complete a couple of my new years resolutions or way out there goals. One was to try my best to win something this year, anything, didn’t matter what. The other was to not be so afraid to talk to girls. So all in all my list is going quite well!! We have not forgotten your list either 😉
I think us readers can help with whittling down those lists. I personally will be contributing to the sending of a hand written letter, may even throw in some cursive, WA CHA!

OOOOOOooooooooh I would be so happy to get letters. I LOVE getting letters as they are so rare now a days. I still have some from childhood I saved due to I just never got many.

I would love writing one! I too didn’t get many notes or letters. I have them in a shoe box and some have that cool little fold with the flap that says pull. Those are great memories and definitely rare in this technological era. I love handwriting letters, even with the oopsies and crossed out words or smooshed in letters, because there is no delete or back space hahaha

Just a lil FYI… Wookiee IS a member of Team Addicts. He has posted here before but is not into Family Guy as much as us (unless you’re talking Blue Harvest Moon), so he is VERY much still a part of the Addicts. As for the answer, MANY readers hop both this site and TSTO. As stated in the details of the contest…all you had to do to enter is comment. Nothing more. So…anyone could pretty much say anything they wanted to and still have an entry. What they commented really didn’t make a difference in the voting what so ever. Outside of making us all laugh hysterically. All the winners were picked at random regardless.
So please instead of knocking those that run the sites and are giving away Free Stuff to our readers, maybe appreciate the contests and the fact that fellow players of a game are doing something like this. 😉

Nah… It cracks me up. THIS really showed who is on both sites. We saw many copy n paste type responses and comments pertaining to FG on TSTO… and vice versa. It just made us see even more how much players enjoy both sites. Lol.
No worries at all. I just think sometimes people are not happy they don’t win so they seek out fault in others. You were picked by the randomizer and legitimately won. Comment content had nothing to do with it. Everyone was just a number to the system. 🙂
