The next part of the Quest has started to U lock the Brewery! And more collecting for a new Stweie Costume.
But for some strange reason the New Year’s Eve tower quest is bcak too, but I think it’s a glitch.

So, I got New Years Jillian, and I currently have her doing her “Countdown to New Year” 24hr quest in the quest line. I rather like this new years event, I think it was a good idea, something fresh and different. However, I do have some criticisms about other characters. I liked how Lois got given a 24hr job a while back, but she is not the only one that needed one. Without Bruse, the longest you can send Vinny on a job for is 6 hours. Special characters, like Kool-Aid Man, are understandable, but Vinny is a main district character, that everybody gets during play. So I really think that Vinny needs more jobs, so that he isn’t restricted to 6hrs at the longest, or 12hrs if you have Bruce free. He needs a few more independent jobs, like maybe an 8hr, 16hr and 24hr jobs.
Just a theory, but in the spoilers posted on here, Multiverse Meg appeared to be an upcoming costume for Meg. What if the blimp ends up being a multiverse traveller, and we end up doing a multiverse thing with it. Just an idea.
Otherwise, the events have been good. But I also think it has been too long between districts. We really needs that district 10 next.

OK it’s been like a year and the Blimp is still doing nothing…but Stewie already has time travel as one of his capabilities…so, what gives?

HHAHAHAHAH feels like it… but being the game isn’t a year old yet… and the Blimp wasn’t launched til later in the year… maybe 6 months? 😛

Been trying to search the past posts with no resolution… I am still having problems with the achievements; specifically “Restraining Order” and “Dance Off.” I have visited each of my 5 friends every single day using the blue arrow method (I have been playing this game since the beginning). Also, all at the same time, I have sent Peter to dance the shipoopi, Bonnie to twerk and Bryan/Stewie to do a juanty dance; didn’t work. I don’t know if i am doing something wrong or if the game just has issues when it comes to the achievements. Any info would be great, but totally understand if this is out of our control at the time. THANKS!

20 neighbors, 20 times… no stopping. I believe that is how that one works. If any are inactive or you miss them, it starts over. I will have to look into the dance one.

The only thing that bothers me about the 20 neighbors 20 times is that it gets STUCK there. My daughter’s account has only been able to pick up from 20 of her 30 neighbors since achievement. I only have about 10 or 15 on mine, so I’ll never get that and most (save my daughter) are still displaying bygone events. Once she clicks on the 20th member the other ! Disappear.

Its not brian and stewie dance jaunty dance. Its actually a quagmire task in his sailor outfit. I was stuck on that to a while back ago until I found it.

thanks for the tip on the dance off. the restraining order still doesn’t make sense to me. from Bunny’s post it seems I actually need at least 20 friends… each of which i must visit 20 days in row. I may just pass on that one, wish it wasn’t so ridiculous. I also heard of people mentioning that they could see their progress in like a percentage.. i have never seen that myself.

Back to the future event doesn’t sound that far fetched at all, and october will probably be the time when the blimp event gets rolling. Lol. Heres some statistics on my end. 14 days of ollieland-6 separate clams. 14 days of jesus turning water into clams-0, thats right a big fat zero times. Does this action work or is it flase hope. I have written in game posts to tinyco 3 times, no response there either. Any one else not getting any clams from jesus? He doesn’t do much else, but like I said false hope.

Try to send him on a short lil simple task, then back to Clam one to see if that helps kick it in. They are rare but do happen

Jeff, I found that staggering Jesus’ clam drop from the time I pick up from multi-verse makes a huge difference. I used to try and time the two close together for convenience and it was yielding nothing. As Bunny stated, send him off on a fool’s errand for a while. Try to stagger the time to at least 12 hours before/after clam pickup from Ollie. I have been much more successful since I did this getting 2 to 3 drops per week.

Thanks dixie2u, as ritual has from day one first thing in the morning I visit ollie. Now after sending jesus on a few menial tasks, it will be about 12 hours after, so mulitverse in the morning, jesus late night. I wont know if he drops till around 11:30 tonight. Thanks for the advice. Hope youre enjoying district 10 with no glitches, I started in on it around midnight. 🙂

Just as a side note, here, food for thought. There have been quite a few ‘co-incidental’ gratuitous plugs regarding BTTF2. The halted Clock tower purchased by Mayor West because he was jealous of Mill Valley’s ownership of one, Bruce’s one requirement to pass out flyers to save the Clock Tower, the 2015 sign’s definition stating that it’s a chronological marker to point to when lost time travellers ask what year it is. The Clock Tower being an integral placement in Jillian’s questline…. All this leads me to believe that, even though it seems an exorbitant purchase at 10000 coins, it might be better to purchase it before the New Years event clocks out on the 15th because when it re-appears in October ( that seems to be the unanimous consensus) it may well cost Clams to purchase to complete a BTTF2 event. Would this be a far-fetched reasoning?

I can’t believe the Broncos lost. ******, now I can’t get to watch them lose to the Pats. Honestly, I think broncos fans are the worst. A year ago “oh, manning is the best thing that happens to the broncos” now they all turn on him. U stick to ur team and quarterback through it all, bad times and …..uhhh more of the Broncos sucking. And don’t let me get started on the Cowboys fan. That cheating no PI call from the ref. TMhat rob the lion (they suck too) of a win and they call that incomplete pass to Dez a cheating call when it was the right call. Buncha hypocrite. Ah who cares, the right team made it to the nfc and afc championship. Romo and manning would just lose again to a dumb play anyway so just stay home a week early is actually a good thing for them.

I’m only missing two bracelets since Friday evening and not a single friggin item dropped all of the weekend. Man, this is so damn boring.
Regarding the clam price increase, I’m extremely unlikely to ever purchase any of them ever again. Premium items were already very, very expensive. Now they are moving into the insane area.
On another note, in Germany we’re currently having Family Guy seasons 10 and 11 running and I am seeing so much stuff from the game being introduced in those episodes. The show is getting better and better.

I am hesitant, as well, to purchase any more clams, Marc. I can only justify so much and I’m already at the limit of my spending.
I’ve made an internal vow to curb my spending on all things virtual, this year. I did a quick calculation and I could have purchased something tangible with my funds, instead I have a game I may well lose interest in, that I have fairly heavily invested in. Somewhat remorseful, but that does go away when I watch Steve Shake it like he’s got it! LOL

I just got the last bracelet and necklace to unlock NYE Jillian! I’ll have to start her quest line tomorrow morning because I sent her on a 12 hour task before I found Stewie to give the last bracelet.

Just watched the new family guy that cut away about doing it in the shower hit close to home and was hilarious over share i know but couldnt help it 😀 side note agree with most about the bracelets they suck think the new premium bar looks like the blam one but black and no bartender my birthday coming up be 39 almost the big 40coming up , anyway love you girls and the job you do for us i appreciate your hard work happy new year cheers!!!!

Not even TinyCo knows til last few days on whether a quest will be able to continue. My thoughts… they judge how far players are in the game and if it is worth the continuation as well as weigh if there are buildings that ONLY the event provides that would cause a hault to it once the event is over anyway. My thoughts on it at least.

I’m super close to getting NYE Jillian! I just need 2 more bracelets and necklaces.I’m also getting closer to unlocking stewie.
I broke up with my boyfriend this past week, which really is a bummer but my best friend is willing to be my pseudoboyfriend, so cuddles and such will be had, yay for me. It’s also the start of my last year of college! So I’ll be able to get away from everything and start fresh next year!

Everyone seems to be all about NFL football today, but I’m anxiously awaiting Monday to cheer on my Buckeyes in the national championship game for college football!
I guess I’ll pass the time trying to get these darn bracelets to drop. I did spend the 150 clams on the tuxedo skin since Brian is my favorite character, and that made getting the black necklaces very easy because he dropped them 5 out of 6 times. But I just can’t get any of those bracelets to drop!
It would be nice if Brian’s Croon Like Sinatra action included some music. Too bad we can’t just import our own music into the game for that action ( like you used to be able to with The Sims.) I could just import some music from Seth’s albums and then it really would be like Brian was crooning like Sinatra LOL!

I never had a problem with the bracelets. Might have even been the first thing that I finished for her (been a day or two). It’s those @#%$ necklaces! I’ve only got two so far (just got my second today), and there’s only two ways to get them without spending clams.
Speaking of, any post upcoming on the NYE Brian and NYE Jillian joint quests? If there are some clams to be awarded, I might just spring for NYE Brian. If it’s just cash and XP, no thanks.

Over seas app markets did have an increase. Post coming on it. We have seen this before with iOS.

We got an advance warning here so I stocked up on some clams… hopefully TinyCo doesn’t take them away because I have over 500 😀 For us, it was mostly due to the falling exchange rate caused by the plummeting oil prices… we do have the second largest oil reserves in the world so our dollar is heavily influenced by the price of oil. We had actually been getting a great deal for quite awhile so this just evens things out.

It’s actually more 15-20% that I saw. Here is what TinyCo said on it…

Hahahahha… well, that is up for discussion. While Jillian is obsessed with the Easter Bunny… I tend to think that a few people over there are having a riot at my expense in REALLY utilizing the word Bunny as many times as they possibly can in this event. 😉

Morning to everyone, I got my last gold bracelet this morning. Just waiting 10 mins. for mr. Harrington to whip it up, still wont be able to get Brian’s though. I did get yet another clam from ollieland who is way more generous then jesus, today will be 11 straight days of turning water into clams. Also like tinyco being late with new years, my family did a Christmas eve party for my stepdad witch involved a lot of beer drinking witch explains my what the hell post last night lol. I was hoping for baltimore and carolina to win, but like always just go opposite what I pick and win, maybey I’ll post who I think will win today, go opposite me and win some money :-). Happy gaming.

I am wondering, do you have your Jesus set to drop the clam around the same time that you go exploring your multi-verse? Because I have my Jesus set to drop the clam about 12 hours later and I am successful about 2 to 3 times a week, thus far.
I did have him set to drop when I went to neighbors, for convenience, but he came up emty-handed. I sent him off on a fool’s errand for a while, skewing the time drop to 12 hours later and the next day he began dropping clams.
I wonder if it is too close to the time that you get clams from Ollie if it just ‘thinks’ you already got your clam? Does that make some sort of sense?
