Hello There Clammers!
Phineas and Barnaby hit our games last week…and they’re ready to Pump Quahog Up! Remember they’re both timed characters (you’ll have 5 days to unlock them once you build the buildings they come with..more details here). Just make sure you build the buildings before they disappear form Quahog on January 27th.
Now let’s take a look at the questlines that will come up on the freemium side of the event…Gympocalypse 2015!, Feel the Burn & Feed the Beast. Be prepared to tap a lot of Joggers and have a bunch of players free for each aspect. For those that don’t like spoilers here’s a quick list of who you’ll need free for each questline:

Who are phineas and barnaby? What was this event? I play several times a day, every day since october and never got any notice of another quest between new years and valentines. Now I feel completely cheated. What with tinyco randomly taking clams and refusing to give them back, and now not even telling me there are more characters to collect, I think this is the end for memon this game now. Ive spent far too much money om clams and coins for this to be acceptable.

I missed out on getting Phineas but i still have a task showing up with steroid stewie involving him, dont know how or if i can get rid of it??

Best thing to do is contact TinyCo and let them know it’s still there. They should be able to clear the task out for you.

I have the same problem, but I missed out on getting Barnaby and got Phineas. Sent TinyCo a message but no response yet. Really want to clear that task. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Give them a little time, since they’re working on the Valentine’s Day Event too. So the questions coming in are a mix of both…

I can’t find the penny arcade 😦 been through the shop 5 times and nothing. Even when I click “build the penny arcade” on the quest it doesn’t show up like stuff usually do

It left when the event did yesterday. You can contact TinyCo and let them know you can’t advance because it’s missing..they may add it back in.

I also am having the same problem. No penny arcade.:( I reported it to tinyco, but i’m surprised no one else has mentioned it. How are we supposed to complete the questline when we can’t building the arcade? This is ridiculous.

I agree..but it was part of the event and pulled with the event (we did mentioned it would be leaving here https://familyguyaddicts.com/2015/01/27/last-chance-phineas-barnaby-stewie-rupert/)
My suggestion is to contact TinyCo and let them know it’s missing and you can’t complete it with out it. Hopefully if they get enough complaints they’ll add it back in.

Sorry if this is a duplicate comment. I am short 2000 coins for the Art of Chesthair. I am only just at level 20. Any suggestions for getting 2000 coins is just 3ish hours? Thanks

Send characters like Peter & Chris on short 1 minute tasks over and over. Of course it’ll involve you being in your game quite a bit, but you can earn $300/hr per character that way.

Quick question I already locked both the new characters. However when of their quests have me delayed considering im currently working to unlock Brian. Later in his quest they want you to buy art of chest hair building. What will happen if they no longer offer that building? I have the coin but my worker is busy till 4pm central time. And should I buy extra worker? Most the time I don’t have enough coin to send 2 workers out at once. Thanks for the feedback.

Apparently my actions didn’t register and when logging in again, I found out I missed one of the new characters. I’m beyond outraged.
I even bought the expensive Rupert to help 😥 .
And those tap handles sure deserve their rate of ‘extra rare’… almost epic imo.

I’m really hoping the quest lines continue after the event ends. I’m on the last part of both their missions but still have 11 hours for Bonnie’s part and haven’t started Meg’s because she was doing something else that will be finished in about 30 minutes. It would suck to get that close and not finish. But at least I got the characters. I didn’t buy any clam buildings but had Rupert from the summer or whatever. He was definitely helpful.

You had 5 days from once you started collecting for him. Was the timer up? That’s what’s happening to a lot of players. You have 5 days to unlock them but you have to start unlocking them by today. (the 27th)

24 hrs to go for me with only one more performance enhancer needed for Barnaby, so he’s more or less secure in the bag. Bought Human Rupert as my first premium character – he is so deliciously adorable. XD

Well dang. I lost out on Barnaby cause the timer ran out but I was only short 4 enhancers. Think I would have made it if I hadn’t wrecked the wife’s vehicle saturday. That pretty much kept me out of my Quahog for a couple days.

I got Barnaby about four hours ago, he still had an hour for unlocking, so I did not miss the timer. I did not have have time to keep playing, so I did not start Barnaby’s quest and I had to turn my game off. I came back after an hour and Barnaby was gone, with information that I missed the deadline to get him. I’m angry, because I know I did unlock him, I worked hard for it, the only good thing is that I didn’t use any clams for him.

Has anyone had a problem with Feed The Beast? I just had to have Quagmire “eat” tacos again :(. The last performance enhancer dropped for me with 2 hours left.

I was with in one item to get both characters and lost them, both. I thought the event went through the 27th. I feel cheated.

Friday, a few hours apart. the timers matched up to end on the 27th, but when I logged in this afternoon I got a notification that Phineas was gone. Barnaby disappeared shortly after

Both guys were on separate timers from the Event. So anyone that started them as soon as it launched would have ran out of starting yesterday. As I told the other player, if you feel you STILL had time left on those clocks above their heads (NOT the event), then you will need to reach out to TinyCo via your game for further help.

I got a message today that Barnaby and Phineas would be available until 3pm Tuesday. It’s Monday and they’re gone! I got Barnaby but not Phineas. I had two more performance enhancers left and Lois and Bonnie working on them too. What the heck? Oh well, I’ll be glad to see the joggers go bye bye!

Thanks for the reply. I guess the timers must have run out. I received the message from tinyco that the event was going until Tuesday at 3pm so I thought I was OK until then. I would have just spent clams if I would have known. I was almost finished. Oh well, it is what it is. Thank you.

It did end… the Tues that just passed at 3pm (27th), not this next one… but you had til their timers ran down that were above them to earn items. If THOSE timers ended, then you would no longer get drops. Sorry you ran out of time.

Awww 😦 I really liked seeing the joggers and was hoping TinyCo would allow us to keep one or two around town after the event, either by earning them, or by shelling out a few clams. Love the artwork and animation, e.g. the bouncing ponytail and the tummies jiggling. Makes me giggle. 🙂

I bought the boxing gym, bulge, and Human Rupert with clams. I didn’t really need the gym it turns out, but since Bulge was so heap I figured it must be a building used later that will cost more. Also, I think Human Rupert is a good purchase because they use him a lot. I did not buy the buildings to get steak or eggs or Stewie.

Happily got both of them with a day to spare & without spending clams! Just the way I like it! a lovely little diversion while trying to unlock Willy Wonka…er..ah… eh, you guy know.
I’ll admit, though, that I’m disappointed that the ram-sucking joggers don’t at least drop coins now that they’re worthless. Seems like other NPC squishables would drop coins in the past but now I’ve got nothing. Really glad I didn’t buy for a building to spawn more of ’em! I’m starting to get device full messages when playing this game!

Hello,I made mistake and placed fear portals from hellowen..my game began to crash after this and I will not get one of new char P or B because can’t play..I send tickets day and half ago,and no answer..can I do something more?because I really frustrated..

They just got back in the office today from the weekend. Give them a lil to get to your messages and get back to you. In the meantime, try to get to a location with a good strong signal, and if you can get back in your game… try to store those portals back away.

The only thing I splurged on in this event was the diner. I did get both Baranaby and Phineas. I did them one at a time. Seemed to me that the drops for the performance enhancers, the second go ’round, were sparse comparatively speaking. But then again, there were two more of them to collect. I can’t wait for Barnaby to level up, I want to see them ride the velocipede. I did not get Stewie, I think it’s a rather ugly skin and I didn’t like his obnoxious character in the show.

My B game, which is only at level 12, had no problem unlocking both characters with no clams, no premium buildings, no Stewie, and Lois not leveled enough to do her Freshen Up task until I already had all but 3 performance enhancers. I wish all events were this nice :). I wish the joggers would go away now.

I am SOOOOOOOOO tired of the joggers. Since they give you nothing once you have P & B, they are nuisances. I would leave them except they make it difficult to tap characters sometimes.
Can’t wait until they go ***poof*** for realsies.

WoW…I really really hope they let us some how keep a Fat Jogger …the way we were able to keep a Snowman or Mall Santa if we achieved certain goals? My aim is to have my streets clogged with everything from Flaming Chickens to Stewies Firetruck and more ….more….and still more!!!!

I was one of the Luck ones I guess. Performance Enhancers were not a problem for me, like they have been for so many. I got Phineas on Friday morning then Barnaby Sat. morning just under 24 hrs of each other. I know my SIL ended up buying Steroid Stewie to get them.

Morning bunny, alissa, and addicts far and wide. I had no trouble unlocking phinias and barnaby at all, without spending a single clam. Now I’ll be squishing overweight joggers with my thumb all week. I am going on 28 attempts for jesus turning water into clams, still seen not a one from him yet. I even went a whole day putting him on 5 different tasks, then back to claming. Does jesus have to be a certain level? He’s at level 8 on mine. Anyways, I live in Connecticut and were expecting up to 30 inches of the white stuff today. Not looking forward to it, but at least I got fgtqfs to keep me company.

After the update my Jesus stopped changing water into clams. I give up … I stuck him with Freddy Kreuger, that’ll learn him 😈

I’ve had Jesus turning water into clams for a month now. It dropped 2 (2!) Clams twice in that time. He’s about to get stuck in Inventory because he’s useless. 4 clams in a month? Sorry, not worth having him take up space.

Since I unlocked him, Jesus has given me roughly 8 or 10 total. So about 4 or 5 drops. He will go several attempts without dropping.
I don’t see any reason to stuff him away in inventory as others have done. He definitely won’t drop any there. Force close your game on occasion, it seems to work for me. Keep trying and good luck.

Stay safe up there. We were supposed to get 8 inches in Western Maryland. Ended up getting 3.

Hi thanks for the input, jesus dropped for you more than once huh, I got jesus just before Christmas, like I said today will be 29 attempts if he doesn’t drop. Same here with snow in Connecticut, they were predicting up to 30 inches, so far it’s 11 a.m. maybey 6 inches. Although its supposed to keep on snowing till midnight. I was just outside, it’s not even snowing. Lol. Thanks nice talking to you.

Nearly finished the questline – on part 5 for both Phineas and Barnaby. Really enjoyed this one, especially that it was quite simple to get the STUFF for both characters. I’m a freemium player so appreciated getting both done inside 3 days without clams. Glad TinyCo are giving us a breather before Valentines Event. Thx Bunny and Alissa too!

I have completed the quest lines but the joggers are still in my town, I tried clearing them but the just come back and don’t even drop anything 😦

I was able to do both at once. Didn’t have Steroid Stewie, but I do have Rupert. I actually still have one Performance Enhancer to earn in the next 17 hours for Barnaby, but worst case scenario I can spend the 20 clams to get it. Love these guys, and love the event as a whole, but WHY does a skin cost as much or more than a full character?? If it was reasonably priced, I would spend the clams on it.

I recently downloaded this game and I’m currently in the hospital district. I found it surprisingly easy to get the necessary items in under 2 days for each of the new guys. I didn’t spend any of my clams n I have 148. I play frequently through out the day. I’m glad they didn’t make it insanely rare to get the necessary items. Quick question any recommendations for my clam? I like Rupert but that’s a lot of clams.

I would say if you are new to this… you may want to hold on to your Clams. Some new Events are on the horizon and there may be something released you may find more desirable to spend your clams on then Rupert. But… it is your choice. I don’t know when they will bring Rupert back again if at all after this.

i complegtely agree… i buyed the KISS member because I love rock (KISS are fun) and i didnt think they were too expensive…
200 clams for a costume is way too much… it should be like 50 clams… it’s just a new look!!!
