Hello There Clammers!
With the introduction of Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff there’s a whole cast of characters to unlock in your rebuild effort of Quahog! These overview posts are designed to give you a quick breakdown of the characters, how you unlock them & their tasks so you can play FGG more efficiently!
Of course there will be those players who don’t want to know the details of unlocking the characters so for that reason we’ll post all of the details below the fold. So if you don’t like to know what’s going on before you play don’t click read more…CAUTION SPOILERS AHEAD
District 9 has been unlocked for a little while and it’s time to take a look at the characters of the Downtown District. Mayor West is the third character you’ll unlock in the Downtown District (& the only one that can clear the peeing Dawgs from your town). It’ll take a bit of hard work collecting all the STUFF you’ll need to unlock him, but remember Districts are here to stay. So take your time with him and have some fun 🙂
So now let’s take a look at Mayor West and his tasks….

Unlocked: 21st Character in the game (freemium by District. Does not include events and premium characters)
Building: Mayor’s Mansion
Voiced?: Yes
Required to Unlock: Build the Mayor’s House ($10,000), 20 bags of oranges, 20 sausages and10 kittens
Costumes: None (as of yet..)

I’m trying to figure out how to unlock District 9 but I have no quests left to do and no other squares to open. I am at a complete dead end here.

That District comes in multiple parts. Did you chech the walkthroughs to see where you are on them and what you need to do to unlock him?

First, are you playing on iOS, Google, Amazon, or Facebook? I ask due to if you are playing on Windows… you can’t. Windows is a stand alone version that just goes to District 8. Mayor is in District 9.
If you are playing on the first ones I listed for the Mobile App Game and not the Stand Alone, then here is the main link for District 9 to get you started. Just got to finish District 8 first.

K then, just follow the Questlines for the District and you will eventually start unlocking the items.

I believe I found out why I couldn’t unlock mayor west and his mansion but before I speculate I just wanted to know if once I unlocked fun land and stewie Do I need to put those other buildings in place like the hotel,zoo,cherry pit, cinema and play house in order to unlock district 9?

That is District 8, so yah… you are not there yet. Once unlocked, it is up to you to keep them out on the play area or even buy those that are NOT required to fulfill tasks. Otherwise just focus on the Main Questlines and you will get there eventually. 😉

You should mention on his character overview that he is one of the special five (not counting comic con characters) that levels alll the way up to 25 instead of 15. He’s only at 20 for me currently… This could take a while.

Something that I would enjoy in these are a note about which district the character i s unlocked within. I’m excited to get Adam West as he is one of my favorite characters.

Ah, I did not read the opening. Was just looking for core info. Lots of the opening paragraphs are the same in these series. I see it now!

I have him at level 18 already but it doesn’t really matter.
The thing which annoys me the most is that it’s not clear with peeing dawgs. Do we need them for something unlocked yet? What happened if I clear them all and suddenly they will be required for something?

Nothing big. Mayor West clears them. Just tap on one and he will shoot a cat at it and poof… gone.

Hi all! Thanks for all your help. Recently I had a new thing happened. I'm on level 35 and sometime during last night my CIA building just up and disappeared! What happened?

Double check your storage Inventory and see if you accidentally stored it.

Maby a nice suit for Mayor West is a Batman suit. And a quistline to go along with it.
