I’m still collecting on Meg. I’m basically a freemium player, ie one who plays for free but doesn’t pay for clams. (I do hope I have the proper terminology) Anyway, I have 108 hearts and it’s likely I won’t get hot meg. That and I don’t have enough valentines for another mystery box. What’s going to happen to the hearts after the event ends?

Just wanted to drop a note to thank you ladies for all of the work you do on here. I’ve managed to get everything I’ve really wanted on this game since the Egyptian event and it’s largely because of the insight you provide.

I’m worried that I won’t be able to unlock Hot Meg before Thursday. I’ve been good at logging in to get the hearts and whatnot, but the past few days I’ve been busy and haven’t been able to check in frequently.
I have about 180, so I’m halfway. I’ve been sending couples on dates and Benedict on his heart mission to help increase the output. I might be able to get there, as long as I can squeeze about 9 visits over the next three days, with two of them being work days. Game on!

Is there some thing i have to do before i can get the last eyeball for anime peter? I’ve had the doc doing nothing but that task for days and I never get the last one. This is holding up at least two maybe three questlines

My husband and I were at a place with unreliable internet for most of this event, so I was very happy that there was no yeti type part to it. Some nights we wouldn’t have internet access, and it would be very annoying to have the yeti equivalent reset because of this.

Okay anyone have any idea how many hearts it takes to GET cupid and hot meg??? I currently am working on cupid and have 183 hearts but my meter is stuck in the middle. Very confused that I’m not anywhere near close to getting hot meg!

Make sure you are actually IN Phase 3 to get those prizes. Finish My Funny Valentine part 13 and start Can’t Buy Me Love to be able to unlock the new prizes.

Does any one else’s game crash literally every time they play? I get about 2-3 minutes of game before it crashes. Click a bunch of buildings… crash. Log back in click the last 5-10 buildings again, send a bunch of characters on missions… crash. Log back in and send the last 5-6 characters on missions AGAIN. Click on a special building (Brewery, movie theater, etc)… crash.
This happens every single time, without exception. The game is only 80MB. Simpsons is 395MB at it never crashes. I really prefer Family Guy but this is beyond annoying.

It is all the “outdoor” activity going on that seems to be the cause. A major memory drain. PDA Couples, Sprayers, animated buildings and decos, Items from other Districts roaming (like Chumba Wumbas), Other moving decos like Kool Aids GF & the Carriage…. on n on n on. If there is TOO Much going on it makes it hard for your device to keep up. Couple that with a inconsistent signal or other things in the background pulling from your device and it starts to crash and lag.
This is what I do to combat that not only in this game, but many others with same issue when “too much” is going on…

Mine crashes as well, maybe not every time but enough so I probably won’t get hot meg. When I clear pda couples and game crashes, I don’t get any hearts. The only thing changing is timer, as I have to wait another 2-3 hours

okay, the event’s been great so far.
The dating system and couple system is awesome. The couple system at first sucked, but tinyco worked hard and managed to make it likable before the event ended (you know, by adding different colors to the couples). Kinda disappointed by the fact that there was no yeti/giant stewie type of boss battle, but after all it was valentine’s event and all the new great systems were more than enough to compensate for the lack of a boss battle.
Also, I hope that tinyco will add a character collection for the 3 new characters we got, cause the “other characters” section is getting crowded.
Now I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll add John De Lancie to the game and also more realistic wish smart Peter, walking Joe and Rupert wearing clothes costume.

I have 2 asylums is that a glitch or something because I see here that if you earned it from the last event (which I did) you wont get it as a hate prize here (which I did) or are you saying it won’t come from the Rupert boxes? (Which it wasn’t a prize option to me) {not that I want another one just wanted to know if it was or wasn’t suppose to happen}.

Two things going on… you CAN win another one from collecting Hearts as it is a separate prize. You CAN’T buy one from Mystery Box if you get the LOVE prize instead as it recognizes you already have one in your game.

I just wanna say: this has been the best event so far for me 🙂 I’m one of those lucky people who never had a crashing problem or any bad glitch throughout the whole game and with the Valentines event I’ve been spared also. It is soooo fun and since I’m a sucker for love and the colour pink it has just been a blast to collect all those items and buildings. Aside from the useless perfume sprayers, I think this event is the most fun when it comes to tasks – the enarmoured couples thing is a piece of cake (I have NO IDEA why anyone could complain about them!!!) and the whole dating thing with the funny dialoges is just awesome ^^ I am 100% pleased with the event, so a big freakin’ thanks to TinyCo and a major thanks to you Addicts for giving all those clues ^___^ you’re amazing!

Has any one else ran into an issue with the home made valentine’s box not working I just got the enough hearts for the statue and had enough for the box (already bought everything else up to this point) but the asylum doesn’t show in the prizes it’s just empty ….. yes the box is there for purchase but when I click it it says there’s an error and to contact support I did that around 1130 am it’s been almost 12 hours no response and help greatly appreciated

It means nothing to buy. If you already have an Asylum from Halloween, one won’t go in the box as it recognized the one you have. Nothing more will show until you unlock the 5th prize and get hot Meg or Voodoo shop in there.

*have a random question: bf is still going thru the 2nd phase of the event which means he’s ONLY on “My Funny Valentine Pt.8” now he’s been collecting LOVE hearts for Cupid’s Statue also and his total so far is like around 171 i think???i already know what he’s collecting for cause i already have it in my game, but on his it’s got a LOCK on it…so when he completes my funny valentine pt.10 and gets the 3rd phase, will his love heart count go all the way back DOWN to 0 or am i misunderstanding that???and he’s about almost done on unlocking Glenda.

Once he finishes My Funny Valentine Part 13 and start Can’t Buy Me Love he will unlock 4th prize. Reset to 0 and start 5th

What’s the chances of them extending this event? With only 3 days left I haven’t even gotten up to the quest to unlock Cupid. So instead of having 5 days to unlock him I will only have maybe 2, correct? Also way off on Hot Meg because I had 124 hate hearts so needed to go the opposite way to get the Cupid statue. Would have been nice if they told us ahead of time that prize was needed! I know it would have been possible to get it from the homemade mystery box but I don’t even have enough cards to get all of those prizes, I don’t know how everyone has so much event currency?? I play multiple times a day, set everyone on the proper tasks and am still struggling for currency.

Ok I had to put this here cause it’s actually funny… If anyone has the courage to look at Cheryl Teigs facespace. In it she says don’t look up Cheryl Teigs quotes on YouTube it’s not what you think…. So out of curiosity I looked and it’s really not what you think… Lol I have to say I love family guy for all of these little ventures in this game. Love every bit of it

I’m excited to know who that mystery character is that you guys mentioned when phase 3 went live in the comments. I’m hoping they will pop up soon in the game.
And I’m also stoked about the heart increase with the dates, I’m now 196 hearts from Hot Meg and at the rate I’m going, I’m hoping to have her with at least 24 hours of the event left to spare to get those last date prizes! 😀

OK. it’s official, I truly am addicted to this game. Had to work in Denver this last week, which is about 40 miles and an hour commute on a good day with no traffic, and I left my iPad at the job Saturday during our worst snow storm of the season had to drive home going an average speed of 25 or 35. Then back this morning in similar conditions 1-1/2 hr each way JUST BECAUSE I HAD TO HAVE MY GAME! Addicted, or what!!!

I was going to buy the cupid statue with clams after I had found him, but there’s no way to instantly get him through clams, which is pretty weird. But I had 1000 valentines that I was going to use on unlocking him, but I realized without the statue I shouldn’t unlock the 1k valentines part of him, so I opened the mystery box for about the sixth time, thinking I would just get another random drop, but I got the cupid statue! Now I just need about 800 more valentines (pretty simple to get) and Cupid is mine!
Also, I used in-game messaging for the first time today, and they got back to me in less than ten minutes. Best customer service I’ve ever seen on anything.

Use the 7 heart drop options on the dates over and over and characters/PDA Couples as much as you possibly can and you should make it just fine.

I guess this should go under “What The Deuce” but it’s specifically about the Valentine’s event.
Technically it’s not a complaint though.
I just want to know why the feature to get Love hearts and Hate Hearts is still up even though there aren’t any more prizes to get? Are there going to be more and they’re just not available yet?
Also, there’s not post yet yet addressing the “Can’t Hardly Wait” questline that’s avaible once you’ve completed Hot Meg’s first questline and Part 3 of Post Traumatic Sweatheart Disorder questline. Has anyone else gotten that questline yet or is it just me? It can’t be just me.

Help! I’m 56 hearts away from Cupid statue and have roughly 1400 hmv and the only premium thing I purchased was that church that gives some hearts every 4 hrs or so. I have two locations for dates and using them as much as possible to get 7 hearts at a time although i goofed a few times and got hate hearts. Do I have any chance at all of getting hot meg before time runs out?

Yes. Just keep going at the 7 hearts tasks and clearing anything else that drops them.

I’m curious, what do you think of the chances we will see the Romantic Thoroughfare sticking around like the Cafe and Theatre did? Seems since we paid 200 for it the least they can do is let us keep the animation. The only animated building from the event area and not available. I hope as the event wraps the Romantic Thoroughfare may become the last prize or found in the inbox as a reward for those who shelled out clams. 🙂

I tried to play for the last week or so, but my game is too laggy and it freezes for minutes. It is impossible to tap on couples or to send chacters gather things.
I give up Cupid.
Overall, l liked this event, but as we joke in my native language: ”The surgery was a success, but the patient is dead”.

Gosh my heart skipped a beat when I went into my game and the loading screen had changed back to normal! According to Amazon app store, Valentine’s day is over in Quahog lol!! But luckily my questlines are still there and I’m pretty excited about it saying the next update is gonna be out of this world! 🙂

This has been a great event, for me, I just need to get the grand prize (Hot Meg). Still no where near 100 love hearts yet, but I’ll make sure to keep going until the event is over. I am almost set on unlocking cupid as well. This was indeed a fun event.

Well I should have Cupid and Hot Meg unlocked by tonight. I decided to collect all 350 love hearts for Hot Meg instead of taking the easy route and doing the 150 Hate hearts and then getting it from the mystery box.

I think this is a great event. there will always be people that will never be happy with anything (god bless their miserable souls) but I think tinyCo tried to be different this time and it shows. I had fun cuz of all the new things going on. U have to give it to the people there, it seems like they are trying very hard with all these crazy ideas. People should just be thankfull they do not have to bomb things outta the sky anymore. Overall this is a great event and kept me entertain for a month so thank u tinyco and the girls here at addicts for all ur much needed help. Love the site and the game more for trying new things.

LoL I am still collecting hearts. I know i don’t have to, but have been. I just stopped sending people on dates and I’m only collecting on drops from PDAs. I do have a ton of HMV though. I hadn’t spent any yet as I was waiting to make sure I had more chances at the best selection. I just started playing this around Xmas time but I am just about completed this event. It was quite interesting knowing I could participate and get something unlike the last event.
