Hello there Clammers!
The Blimp is FINALLY ready to travel! With the introduction of the Blimp District, The Fine Arts District, TinyCo has finally unlocked the keys to the blimp and time travel is upon us! Well…upon Stewie and Vinny, we just get to watch the blimp disappear and come back. Anywho…a new district means all new questlines!
Once again this District walkthrough is structured by questline (Note: Questline is considered the entire task list that is required under a certain title. For example Away We Go Pt. 1, Pt. 2 etc). This should help you keep track of what comes next in each questline & what you’ll need to do. Keep in mind, with this game various quests/tasks can be running at once. You can be in the middle of 1 questline and another questline will start, however the order in which the questlines appear may be different for each game.
Olivia is the only character released in this District, but unlocking her will take a LOT of patience…and a ton of Time Travel! So be patient in unlocking that Plutonium…..
So now let’s see just what happens when Stewie finds out who stole his Plutonium…

At this point The Future Was Just Now will start up for you. However, you won’t be able to finish it until you’ve unlocked Olivia. This will run concurrent with Walk Like an Egyptian. Walk Like an Egyptian can be completed (and must be) without Olivia.

Quick question, I messaged tinyco after getting the blimp to the old west bug,that was fixed but now the same thing (nothing) is happening for blimp to Egypt,do I need to message tiny every time I need to use the blimp??! Or will it fix itself as I complete other tasks? (Brian-future is now)

I honestly don’t know, but quite few players are having an issue when they need the blimp. I would try working through tasks but if nothing happens your going have contact them again. 😕

I’m at the stage where it says stewie and vinny travel to old west in the blimp but when I hit the go button it does nothing.. And none of the character are dropping plutonium if that’s what I need. Also the now a little present box on the blimp task icon

You need to make Stewie Time Travel and bring back the Acropolis from his travels! Here’s what you’ll need:
Acropolis1 Acrapolis- 13 Plutonium needed to travel for this. When you get this it’ll go to your inventory. You’ll have to pull it from there to get it for Olivia.

I just entered this district. There are more ways to get plutonium now, both Connie and Tricia can drop them besides the options already mentioned in your post. That will speed things up, I was very happy to see that. 🙂

That is if they actually drop them, I have been on this quest since it was released. Yes it was nice to see more characters drop it but that plutonium is just too rare imho. I only have 4/13 and I have been that way for a while!

I have to say my plutonium drops are okay, I have all but Mayor West on this (he’s at level six at the moment) and I got enough plutonium for the first trip after I think three/four days. I am now waiting for the second trip and am around a day away from this. If it continues like this then it is a nice welcome, particularly because this whole district only uses those characters which don’t feature in events so there’s no crossover. I’m liking it very much 🙂

My Dance Hall questline came up with build Olivia’s house (done) and clear block.. But I can’t enter the Fine Arts District to clear a block. A dialogue box with Peter saying I can’t get ahead of myself pops up (like it usually does when trying to enter a district you haven’t earned yet) but I have done the relevant questlines and have Olivia, so..?

A Page Out of Prehistory Pt. 1 has never come up The only quests I have The future was just now pt 3 -(have olivia attend rehearsal)but she wont unlock until page of prehistory. In have Ye Olde Blimp Trippe Pt 1( have olivia boss everyone around), the offer to buy clams for star trek crystals, two more star treks questlines (an officer and an idiot pt 3, and Bat’leth out of…Is there a glitch? I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and logged back in but nothing new.

I have been earning plutonium since the quest started and have sent my blimp out 3 times. Each time it comes back with nothing. I also still have to clear the block for the fine arts district but it is locked and says I have to clear nearby blocks first, which are already clear. All of the land on my game has been cleared except for the fine arts district, which is still cloudy. What do I need to do to get this clear?

The plutonium drop is really frustrating and maddening. Yesterday took 10 tries before got 1 plutonium. This morning started needing just 2 more drops to get 13 for the blimp. Sent all 5 character all day and only got 1 drop out of the 14 tries. So 1 for 10 yesterday and 1 for 14 today. Wtf. The plutonium is supposed to be rare, not epic. Yes I messaged to tell them my frustration.
If they intentionally want to limit drops to drag out quests to keep players engaged longer or get them to spend clams there’s better ways of doing it. The way it is now is just frustrating and not fun. I’d rather more required items or longer tasks with good drop rates than the crappy drop rates they do now. I’d rather the satisfaction and positive reinforcement of slow but steady progress instead of stupid time wasting frustrating disappointment of coming up empty over and over.
The synthesizer ore drop rate is also bad. Supposed to be rare but actual drops seem more like extra rare. I had to build a 2nd super cargo bay because bonnies task was near useless.

I still havent unlocked Olivia either! And the same thing has been happening to me to get the blimp to enough Plutonium, I’m lucky to get one or two every day. Then when I’ve finally been able to send the blimp, it doesnt give me anything! The last three times I’ve sent it, it came back with nothing. I guess at least its not just me.

Honestly, you are just not completing the tasks at hand. There are 3 or 4 parts for each trip. The Blimp is just one of those parts. The rest is dialog and tasks between the two Characters that traveled. When you finish the ENTIRE quest is when you will see the prizes. You are just only focusing on one part of a bigger questline. 😉

I have sent it away six times I believe? I have two items left that I need for Olivia. I have the saloon and a snake (I think I got the snake from the blimp – wasn’t paying attention). Last three times I’ve gotten nothing and this time the blimp just decided to go away for good.

That is normal. The Blimp is not what drops the items. You just haven’t completed each trip. The Blimp trip is just one part of 3 and 4 part questlines. There is still dialog needed to be completed in order for you to get all the times. So complete that dialog with Stewie and the person that traveled with him and you will see the remaining items.

I’m just about finished on this district, I have made all the trips just doing stewies & Olivia’s actions now. After the last trip the notice came up to keep collecting the plutonium, but none of the characters where showing it as a drop, when I tapped the blimp to see if I still needed anything it disappeared & hasn’t come back.

Unlocked Olivia couple days ago. Now have every questline completed EXCEPT for “The Future Was Just Now Pt.5″(waiting for Olivia to get done performing 16hrs.,), “Ye Olde Trippe Pt.4″(need 3 more plutonium), and I still have to start and complete the “You Do” questline. I got a question for the “You Do Pt.1”, it says for Stewie to eat a banana split at The Sweets Shop, but as I just looked on his task list he doesn’t have it yet…so do I have to be on that particular questline “You Do” to see that task pop up???..

I believe it’s already in the game, but I have been playing a while. If you do not see it, no worries… once a building is requested you do not have… it pops into the Menu for you to buy. 😉

It comes at the end of the dialog for each trip. Sending the blimp is just one part of the 3 or 4 part questlines. You’re almost there.

So even with those two quests being open for the last three trips and getting nothing back, how many more trips like this do I need to make? I don’t have the bath house to finish the Walk Like an Egyptian Pt 3, and obliviously not Olivia yet as I have two things remaining to get.

You have to finish them to get the item. All completed. No more dialog in that part.
As for bath house, if you didn’t play during Kingdom of Full Moon Event then it will be for purchase in your decos tab in the shopping cart menu when you get to the part in the questline it asks for it on. 😉
Again, just a matter of completing each part to get the items linked to it.

It only shows up once you get to the questline trigger in the Decorations portion of the Shopping Menu for purchase if you don’t already have it. It is supposed to appear as soon as you get to Walk Like an Egyptian Part 3. So if you are there and you don’t have it already and it is not there to buy… then a ticket does need to be opened.

Sounds like you are at a questline standstill. I assume it is due to you did not complete the portion of unlocking the new land. Try this…

The Away we go quest has started for me, I’m still finishing up the quests on Mayor West. Will this send me into district 11? I haven’t even started district 10, just curious if they don’t have to be completed in order. Thanks ☺️

Fine Arts is the 11th released, but it is still linked to the Blimp questline, so you will need to go through it to move on to District 10. 😉

Not enough characters dropping plutonium, I would have thought we would get about 5-6 or 7 characters dropping this. weird that Stewie and brain aren’t dropping these.

Because they are busy running questlines. I think if they were used for drops too… it would slow the process even more.

I just completed my third blimp trip to complete the Prehistoric questline and was rewarded with Trieste the Triceratops. I have searched in my inventory for the Venus Fly Traposaurus as outlined as a reward in this post above and can not locate it. Were the rewards switched out since this questline was posted? This post regarding items per questline (https://familyguyaddicts.com/2015/03/09/fine-arts-district-new-items-prehistory-ancient-rome-renaissance/) makes no mention of the Venus Fly Traposaurus as an item under the Prehistoric questline. Has it disappeared or is there more to do to acquire it?

It is one and the same. It had TWO names. The Traposaurus and the Triceratops.

Seems like a nice long quest for all the addicts so TinyCo can plan out future events and/or story lines to keep the game fresh and interesting, and the addicts….well, addicted:D I’ll admit that the plutonium drop rates are staggeringly frustrating, and using clams to speed it up doesn’t really accomplish anything but wasting precious clams, so yeah, I’m reasonably certain this is a “patience” district.

In all, to complete all quests in the Fine Arts District, we need to collect 13 plutonium 5 times for a total of 65 plutonium, am I right? (4 times to get the things to unlock Olivia and a fifth time after getting Olivia for the quest ‘Ye Olde Blimp Trippe’)

I got all the plutonium for the first item, clicked drop, the blimp went out. Another character dropped another plutonium and when I clicked it the blimp came back, nothing dropped, nothing in my inventory and all plutonium gone except for the newest one.

I’m lost, I’m trying to clear a block and it says don’t get ahead of yourself but I’ve built Olivia’s house. And I just now completed my first gatherings of plutonium to supposedly get one of the items to unlock her but all I got was 1,000 coins. Is it supposed to do that the first time?

And you still have dialog after the blimp goes and comes back. Once you get each part complete… THEN you get the item.

We don’t know. TinyCo does all they can to get voices but in the end it all comes down to legal contracts and copyright releases on whether they can get an OK for a voice.

Look into investment options, but beware… a lot of tasks will NOT show up until you trigger them. So not able to get a head start if that is what you are looking for.

Why oh why is the plutonium so freaking hard to get? It’s an rare drop and only 3 characters drop it in 4,6 and 8 hour incrinments! And you need 13 plutonium to time travel. This is more than just needing patience. Keep it a rare drop, but have a least 10 people that can get it and go up in time commitments too 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 1 day.
Please, I think this is much more fair, especially since you can’t even use clams to buy the items you need to get Olivia. Are you listening Tiny Co.? I think I’ve been civil here, but I haven’t seen you respond in anyways to complaints from the FGQFS players/fans.

Just wanted to jump in with a lil FYI… I really suggest don’t waste clams on a district. Most Districts are set to take time on and last. Save them for other items.
But…if clams is really route you want to go… fast forward tasks n drops. I would suggest Carters plutonium as his is cheapest to do.
I still say save them. My opinion anyway.

So, it’s possible I saw a suitcase pop up after clicking a character’s check mark, then accidentally clicked on a button and now I have zero suitcases? Sorry, I hadn’t checked here beforehand and hadn’t cleared the art district first. I’m getting a little confused. I’ve already read through the pages with the info/walkthroughs.

I was wondering why everybody was complaining about the plutonium drops. I got 5 on my first day. Day 2 I’ve only gotten 1 tho. I understand now. But hey, if they dropped like mad and we got 13 per day, we’d all be done the district in a week and be complaining that we’re bored. Oh human nature at its finest.

It would be great if a couple more characters could get the plutonium for the blimp. Brian and Stewie should be able to get it and possibly Vinny. The fact that we need 52 rare plutonium and only 3 characters can get it is insane. Please Tiny Co!!!!!

I think it is intentional. The others are usually reserved for Event drops. If they add more, it will mess up the drops already there for District 9 & 10 not to mention if an Event hits. I think this is them playing it smart and safe to go with ones normally NOT in use and reserve the others for upcoming and current needs. 😉

Holy crap! 13 RARE plutonuim per segment for at least 4 segments with roughly 1 out of 3 every 6 hours or so. This is going to take for-ev-er. And that’s just to get Olivia.

Hoping someone can confirm where I’m at in the game probably along with many others. I’ve completed everything in the brewery and am now waiting for plutonium to time travel. Pretty much I can ignore every character in the game until I get enough plutonium to finish the task? It seems odd that only 3 characters give something that you need so much of (60 plutonium if you have to time travel 4 times). Does that mean I can just store all of my characters? There is really no benefit to making them level up. Anyone else in the same boat as I am?

It is a District. All Districts are slower and more limited. Reserving speed for Fast Paced Events. You need a break in between. Store them if you want, just know… Events can hit at anytime. 😉

hey addicts! I can’t proceed further in the quest line after I activated the plutonium. my game crashed and every time I start the game again it tries to show the video sequence of the plutonium activating but instantly crashes. I don’t know what do anymore. I can’t get in game/contact support. I tried restarting my phone and clearing all space and shutting down processes but without success. help me please!

I hate how the districts and the main storyline of the game has become filler for the events, when it should be the other way around. I like making lasting questlines etc. but it’s a bit frustrating when you’re getting an average of 2 plutonium a day; especially when I know in two or three weeks we’ll be in the middle of easter and having to pay hundreds of clams for themed building skins and actors vaguely relevant to the easter storyline if we want to keep unlocking everything. Doing the event takes enough time without having quests to do alongside it. I’ve been playing the game since the day it came out and will continue to play it, I just wish TinyCo would hold off on events and other clear ploys to earn money and focus on enhancing the gameplay. Hopefully they listen to some of the suggestions you guys send them, because this game still has potential to be as entertaining as it was in the beginning…

This is not the only game with this kind of structure. The Main story always takes the slow and easy and longer route. Keeps a “quieter” pace if you will. This is so you have a period of time that you are not rush rush rush to get things done. Events are fast, high paced, and lots of info in a lil bit of time. I feel if the game was like that all the time… always a rush rush rush feeling… people would burn out within a month or two and not want to play. No one wants to run sprints for days, months, or years at a time. A slower pace inbetween and going back to the basics is a much welcomed change of pace. My thoughts anyway. I still am entertained by the Districts. I seem to miss out on some dialog here and there going so quickly. I like kicking back and just enjoying it.

From all the posts it seems like a lot of ppl used clams on this district to end it quicker. Which tinyco is looking for to make money. But looking at this district you would have to spend like 100$+ of real money and if your doing that for a game that’s not on an actual platform xbox play station that’s absolutely the craziest thing I’ve ever ever heard, and I live in toronto free health care paid much better minimum wage than any USA state not telling ppl how to spend there money but wow

We always try to tell people to slow down too. Let US spend the money so you don’t have to. Let US test it out for you and give you the details. But… everyone has Free Will. What they spend their “entertainment” money on is their business. 😉

I never waste clams on timed events. Skins are not worth it to me. But I am also the person who refuses to spend real money on clams so I have been saving since I started the game so I can get Cleveland.
