Addicts Mail Bag!!

Hey there Clammers!!

Just wanted to bounce on by with a HUGE THANK YOU!! Not too long ago, and at the request of some of our AMAZING Readers, Addicts opened up their mailbox. Since then we have started to get some pretty amazing Mail.FG Addicts Mail

We got a few Christmas Cards, notes, letters, and even a really cool Post Card from the artist’s wife. Each one put a HUGE smile on our faces. 🙂

On a personal side note, I have received my first Pen Pal Letter and was so happy and giggly. I LOVE HAND WRITTEN LETTERS. It is a lost art form in my mind. So much more personal and so much more fun. I think it’s that anticipation of the wait. Wait to get one, open it, read it, send one back… then wait again. So much fun. 😉

I am in the midst of writing back as we speak and this letter is going to be well traveled before even being mailed off. Lol. (It’s going with me around the country until I am done writing my response.)

So once again… THANK YOU!!! (Sorry this is a lil delayed, time got away from me and just finished a massive move from one place to another.)

    Glad you both liked the cards! Takes me forever to find “just the right one”. I love sending cards and letters. Like you stated, it has a much more personal touch. I also believe it brings a stronger connection as well. More energy and time spent devoted to the recipient versus all this new fangled quick messaging hulabaloo (which I am not knocking, it has it’s pro’s)
    The recipient of your well traveled letter is one lucky person 😉
    I love the anticipation, the curiosity of what it will say, riding the high of opening the mail box and procurement of the perfect setting and time to sit and read the letter (usually a nice quiet comfy spot and a cup of hot tea lol)
    The reply is great as well. You can invest time at your leisure and add installments as exciting or silly things happen without the feeling of being rushed to just get it done. (You and Alissa both do enough of that i am sure… because you ladies never disappoint with the stream of info that we all could not live without 😉
    I sometimes jot down topics in a notepad as they occur daily, just to reference, as I sometimes suffer from CRS (can’t remember “stuff”) <- moderated to follow guidelines of course haha.
    Glad you are safely moved and beginning to settle. I can't wait to see what's coming my way, and hear of your travels, Carmen Sandiego… I mean Bunny :p

    I am on the lookout, all the time, for something to send to you, something unique and memorable.
    It seems you appreciate the personal touch and more the human contact than ‘stuff.’
    Maybe I should stop looking and start writing, instead 😉

    Awww! It was so sweet to hear about how much you enjoy getting personal mail from your readers! I don’t know if you recall, but a while back, I had asked if you could send a pic of your fan mail. You had mentioned that you would like to ultimately cover your work area with mail from your readers. Seeing this post was way cool. I hope you will send another pic when you do up your work area! I would very much enjoy seeing it and watching as it grows. 😉

      I just moved, so I wanted to wait til that was done as I didn’t want a single item misplaced. Now that move is over and I am getting more settled, I can focus better on my work area. 😉

      And I really do enjoy getting mail. It is so fun. 😉

    i am working on a note pad full of fg chaecters i did myself i did 2 one for u guys and one for myself yours will have color but mine wont the colors arnt perfect scince the limit i had but plese enjoy it when it comes in the mail (it may be a while not finished)
