Hey there Clammers!
Remember that time you told TinyCo… “I wish —- was in the game”? Well, I guess they listened. For a Limited Time, some of your favorite Cutaway Scene Characters are going to be in your Quahog for purchase. WOOHOO FOR CUTAWAY SCENES!! These Limited Time Items will stay until Wednesday March 11th, 3PM PDT (PDT as Daylight Savings will be kicking in for many.)
Peter will kick it off with a quick intro and Daily Shipoopi, Starring Peter Griffin. Once you close it out, you will then see Peter trigger the questline Getting a Good Buzz. 
In order to see this content, you will need to have District 3 unlocked. FYI, players on the Windows Stand Alone Version… the Weekend Items will not be available to you. In order to see the Event, you will need to be playing on the full Mobile Version of the App.

Some much requested and interesting items being offered for both Coin & Clam. Here is the basic breakdown of them.
BUILDINGS
Jim’s Bank: $3000. 6hr Build Time. Pays Out $60 & 40XP every 12hrs.
DECORATIONS
O’Connor the Traffic Cop: $5000
Other-Right Shark: 25 Clams, animated.
Suds ‘n Duds: 20 Clams, animated. Comes with a mini questline.
Boppo the Clown: 75 Clams, animated. Comes with a mini questline.
Iraq Lobster: 95 Clams, animated. Comes with a mini questline.
PACKAGE DEAL
During the “Daily Shipoopi, Starring Peter Griffin” questline, you will see an offer pop up. If you want to spend 195 your Precious Clams on a package deal, there is also the option to purchase Suds ‘n Duds, Boppo the Clown, & Iraq Lobster. If you purchase all 3, you will get the MegCopter for Free.

ADDITIONAL DECORATION
Once you complete the questline Getting a Good Buzz Part 3, you will see another Decoration unlock for Purchase.

Remember, it is ALWAYS your choice whether or not you spend your Clams on an item. Do what makes YOU happy. What YOU will still want 3 months from now. Either way, you have til Wednesday to decide.

Finished “getting a good buzz.”
Apparently, when finishing all tasks it showed what I had won. Coins, experience, and buzz killington. Except, I can’t find buzz. It didn’t give me the option to place upon finishing the task and he’s not in my inventory. Although, he remains for purchase for 250 clams.

Actually it didn’t show that at all. It shows that you now have unlocked the ability to purchase Lincoln-san if you want him. So you should see him in your Menu now for coins if you want to pick him up. 😉

Other than waiting for Plutonium to pop for Stewie up to 7 out of 10 *ugh* and clearing out all the land, (one patch left worth 80,000) I’ve had absolutely nothing to do for the last month in this game. Throw a bone for us Windows users.
I’m not putting money into any clams until they bring Windows 8 into the real world.

I got the building ’cause it’s a building, LOL. I also picked up the Gumball Cop. I don’t recall either one in the episodes, but I see you have plans for a ‘Where The … Did that come from?’ thread for them.
I’ll probably regret not getting the shark, like not getting the White Tiger, but it will not be fleeting. I don’t have room for everything in my Quahog, so I will pass this go ’round.

If is was so simple… yes. I would love too. Sadly, it is an entire legal process they have to go through to get the rights. Remember, this is only their game… the rights of the TV Series still lie with FOX & Seth (and anyone else who has their hands in the pot), not to mention any other copyrights involved. EVERYONE has to give the OK in order for it to happen. Such is the life in the Industry. Lol 😉

I know I’m being cynical, but I see this cutaway weekend as a weak attempt at getting us to deplete our clams so in the next week or so when they launch the next big event we have to go buy more for the new characters etc, As such, I will hoard and wait…

when I BARELY have any clams is EXACTLY when they release this stuff haHA I was saying JUST the other day I had a lil over 1,000 clams and NOTHING was really going on for clams only thing I was doing was speeding up tasks and bought a few buildings with the clams and now I have only 10 lmao so dumb 😀

I have wanted Boppo the Clown since I first saw him, but 75 clams is so steep. As a freemium player I just don’t think I can do it. I am surprised he is that much though. I got Sheldon and two flaming chickens for less than him. I’m so sad he’s not for coins, though I might end up buying him anyway (I have just enough) because I have wanted him for a time now.

How many other tasks do you have open in your task menu? They are separate, so you may need to clear something to make room.

Personal preference. I thought for the low clam price I would get him. He does not take up much space and is just an animated deco. But it just makes me laugh. I like to laugh. So I got him. I’m not interested in the other items, so I treated myself.

I don’t often spend clams on things, but when I do, it won’t be decorations. At least there’s still a quest line I can do to go with this event, but its still not very exciting.

I do love some of these random mini quests that pop up from time to time but think I echo some other players sentiments on here and FB that using a large amount of clams for decorations is a bit hard to swallow. i think you girls hit the nail on the head by saying its up to the player if they want to do this or not. i dont mind spending coins on stuff if its fun but not my hard earned/bought clams.
