Hey there Clammers!
The Fine Arts District is bringing us some pretty interesting items to our game. Each lil Blimp Travel brings back with it a couple of cool new items. So I decided to take a closer look at these items.
For this Adventure, we will be looking at the first items you will see when you complete Unlocking the Fine Arts District in Dance Hall Days (Part 1). Basically to get to this point, you will need to finish The Great Plutonium Heist. Once all 4 Parts are completed, you will launch into Away We Go. That will have 2 Parts. When both Parts are complete you will finally jump into a 3rd Questline, Dance Hall Days. Then will come the prizes and the cool Blimp animation.

DANCE HALL DAYS
Olivia w/Fuller House (Building & Character Combo) $24,000: Fuller House site on a 6×7 base. Pays out $45 & 30XP every 8hrs. Olivia is a fully tasked Character with 2 outdoor animated tasks. She does use the Fuller House for her Warm Up Voice task. More on her in a Character Profile.
Quahog School of Performing Arts (Building) $10,000: Sits on a 9×5 base. Pays out $30 & 20XP every 4 hrs. Is used by Olivia & Stewie for tasks. It is a City Building that would fit in any City/Downtown scene in your town.
Olivia’s Playhouse (Building) $20,000: Sits on a 3×3 base. Pays out $30 & 45XP Every 8hrs. Looks cute pretty much in any backyard of houses, a playground, or at the Daycare. You can drag Olivia in front of it to have her do her outdoor cooking animation (though in the TV Series she is inside while she does it.)
Make-Believe Castle (Building) 40 Clams: Sits on a 3×6 base. Pays out $60 & 40XP every 12hrs. A cool looking Castle. Still trying to figure out how I want to use it in my town. The Archer and Guillotine do add to it.
Magic Clam Flag (Decoration) $15,000: Sits on a 1×1 base. Can pretty much go anywhere in your town that you would want a flag, like the schools or town hall, etc.
Ice Bike (Decoration) $25,000: Sits on a 1×3 base. I was happy to see this one actually. It made a quick flash appearance as only a teeny tiny icon in the corner of a dialog box in Benedict’s questline. It obviously did not belong there as it was NOT Benedict’s advertised M-Otter-Cycle and I was wondering why it was there. Well, now I know why. Lol.
Stew-E (Decoration) 40 Clams: Sits on a 1×2 base. Is animated. Walks in place with the Love Heart on display in Blue. Once tapped, it powers down, then powers back up with everything Red instead of Blue, arms itself, shoots flames up in the air, powers down, then back to Blue Love again. I have mine next to h. O. me.
Old Timey Archer (Decoration) 40 Clams: Sits on a 1×1 base. Is animated. Messes around with the arrow and bow while standing in place. Once tapped, he takes his time to aim and fire, then back to messing around with it. Got him next to the Castle.
There you have it. Some cool new items to add to the mix. Some for Free, others additions that YOU can decide if you want to get them or not.

Quick question, I just unlocked Olivia today. Does the blimp still bring back things now that all of her stuff has been collected? Is there still a need to collect plutonium once she has been unlocked?

The last two times I’ve used the blimp I haven’t received anything, I have a task to unlock Olivia and another one that says have Stewie use the bath house thing but I can’t unlock it, even if I click go on Olivia, am I doing something wrong? I still need the dinosaur aswell

No worries. You are doing just fine. 😉
Each section has 3 to 4 parts. Sending the Blimp is just one of those parts then there is dialog. Once you are complete, Dialog and all with each trip… then you will see the items drop into the game. The Bath House will drop into the Buildings/Deco menu for purchase for $4000 once you hit that point in questline.

What happened with plutonium drop rate? I unlocked Olivia quick, I was getting drops 2-3 out of the 5 characters each time, now I’m lucky to get 1. Did something change? Taking forever to send the final time.

I know a lot of people said it felt like that, but response we are getting is they are still dropping as intended. However feel free to let them know if you are not getting them as you feel you should. 😉

Since adding 2 characters to get plutonium now my drop rate has disappeared – I haven’t got a plutonium in 2 straight days of 5 people tasking over and over???!?!?!??!

The plutonium requirements for this WHOLE venture is ridiculous.
1) Gettinf the plutonium is a pain in the *** because not one single character ALWAYS drops plutonium, so it’s a huge waste of time and energy trying to get them. You basically end up having to waste clams just to speed up the process, making it tideous and u enjoyable.
2) The sheer amount of plutonium you need to each time travel event is ridiculous. 13 is way too high. This makes the process even MORE tedious.
I really don’t like it. If they added more characters who can get plutonium AND decreases the plutonium requirements, I might actually enjoy this portion. Alas, it is not to be. I’m left shaking my head.

I finally unlocked olivia. I thought when I got all the stuff for her the blimp went away. It didn’t though. Will it still be used? I don’t want to tie up characters if it’s not necessary. I do like the way it looks so it’s fine if it stays. And if this has been answered elsewhere I apologize.

There’s a quest where you have to send Olivia and Stewie to time travel. Once you do that it’ll disappear.

I think there is a glitch. I used the blimp for the third time but got nothing 😦 I’m kinda mad cuss it took me 3 days to get 13. Do you know if anything is wrong?

Was the questline telling you to time travel? You have to follow what the questline tells you to do

I think I might be stuck, I got the saloon, and went back for the bathhouse but instead got the snake, though have bathhouse task to complete that I can’t because I don’t have the bathhouse. Finally got enough to make another trip and only got cash.

You don’t get the bathhouse from time travel. It’s in the store for purchase….don’t make trips until the questline tells you to. Go to your store and find the bathhouse you’ll be able to purchase it there.

I was doing that also – I never knew the bathhouse as a new building to buy since they kind of threw it in there with all the other buildings, so I thought it was a building I had to win through time traveling to then use to complete the task… UGH! At least it is not a timed task so it will just take me awhile longer.

Did they reduce the plutonium drop rate when they added Connie and Trica? When only the 3 guys had plutonium tasks, I was getting 4-5 a day. Now, with 5 people working on it, I’m lucky to get 2 a day. Carter hasn’t had a drop in two days. Tried rebooting the device, but no change.

Baffled I activated the blimp before the questline stated to go on a new trip. I think stewie is still watching TV or something like this. Of course the blimp did go on a travel and bring me nothing. Are the plutoniums lost now?! Or may I get the missing Item for Olivia as the questline advances automatically without on a new ride with the blimp?

Omg thanx! I was just freaking that I clicked on yellow checkmark above blimp, sent it, and it came back with nadda!!! Whew…that would have been 3 days of wasted tasks!! Now onto making the quest line progress….

I just used 13 plutonium a but didn’t get a reward. Is that right? I can’t get the Egyptian bathes to progress Stewie and Vinnie on the quest line.

I’ve been comparing this game app with the Simpsons game app. The Simpsons app is more consistent, as far as tasks/regular game play/my interest goes. But I started with this game, and so I seem drawn toward it more so than the Simpsons app. Family Guy’s been darn boring though, I just spent 2 days getting plutonium for a blimp ride only to get a small amount of cash. Who cares when you have over $1.5 mil in cash?!?! Anyhoo….

I am on the west coast U.S. and today when I login the game the free clam guy is gone. I guess they figured out he is not working so they removed him from the game for awhile. I hope he come back and gives free clams for watching videos.

I’m so insanely fed up with this plutonium *****!! Eleven tries today ELEVEN! and I only got one f*%#ing drop! WTD?! 10am-2am and I got one ONE! If it weren’t for me hanging my hopes on BTTF content I’d delete this pricy game and avoid this needless frustration. This isn’t fun in the least. If 2015 comes and goes with no BTTF content, I’m done!

Awww. Try a restart on the device to see if it changes your luck… otherwise, as tough as it is, try and be patient with District drops. I’m seeing eyeballs and bandanas all over again. It can get a bit tedious that’s for sure. I wanted to pull my eyeball out just to get me my last one for it. Lol.

I had recently activated my blimp and it shot off the screen.. That was close to four hours ago.. So far the blimp has not returned, even the landing pad is gone.. All my plutonium tasks are gone from my characters.. Olivia still needs the triceratops and the bath house. Any ideas?

Turns iut that I had missed unlocking the new land area. Previous times I’ve tried tapping on the smoke, I’ve been told that I can’t unlock it but today it worked so in 20hrs I’ll be able to continue with the next stage. Thanks for the help!

Yeah, same thing happened to me. Hadn’t unlocked the district yet because I thought it was waiting on another quest (all the other ones just came up automatically, this one kept saying “slow down there buddy”). So I sent the blimp off, and nothing but cash. If it needed the district unlocked they should have locked the blimp too. Oh well, it’s unlocking now at least, so hopefully my NEXT trip won’t be a failure.

The blimp WILL only come back with cash on a trip. There is more than one part to each of the Blimp trips. You got to finish ALL the questline to get each trip prizes. Each one is 3 or 4 parts. (see the links in this very post you are commenting on)

Wish more characters dropped plutonium or they weren’t rare. I really don’t want to be messing with a district and its associated tasks AND any upcoming event stuff. And it’ll be extra annoying if Olivia is a character useful to the event and she’s still locked up due to the abysmal plutonium drop rate.

I think due to an Event coming up they intentionally left the other Characters freed up so they were not doing double duty.

Yeah, that’s definitely good, but an “uncommon” drop rate would at least be appreciated. I get that it’s intended to take long to keep us busy during the down time, and I actually like prefer a slow, non stressful pace. But if an event is coming, we’ll be busy with that, so what’s the point in dragging out the district? Not to mention that dragging this plutonium business out is not only irritating, but also, honestly, kinda boring.

See, if this is true I’m still upset. “Free characters” or “Double Duty” isn’t the problem. It’s using the SAME task (Not the same character) on an event as the MOST recent regular update.
…really, give Peter a 10 hour task that produces Plutonium, and for the event give him an 8 or 12 hour. It’s simple.
Or even better; make use of premium characters, or premium outfits, or outfits with small quest lines — and then if they were limited edition, put them up for sale.
There are plenty of options that don’t result in me collecting plutonium for months. (52 required, 3 characters, rare drop…2-3 months could actually happen.)

I know it seems tedious, I have just seen over time that they do make changes or have reasoning behind it. Many are flying through the District with NO Clams spent. I think it is also just hard to do the daily grind after the rapid tapping of an event. Changing gears isn’t so easy.

This whole district is a let down. Perhaps the blimp being there forever I was just expecting more. That and the game crashing is really pushing my nerves.

Carter, Tucker & Mayor West are rarely ever used in events. I think there will be almost no interference at all between D11 & a special event.

OMG… I was reading how people were having no luck downloading the game from the App Store for iOS. They were getting messages that the app was not available for the U.S.
I don’t have the app on my iPhone, but had previously downloaded it. So I reinstalled it and ******

This was a real disappointment tiny people. I was hoping that the blimp would take us to new areas where we could build our own Wild West town etc. sort of like when we travel to Ollie land…big let down 😦

Nice layout. I wish I had the motivation to do something cool with my town, but I just don’t have the patience for it. I had a neat Walking Dead prison and ghoul-filled graveyard working but I nuked my town after Valentines and put all my buildings out all haphazard. It looks like crap, but generates lots of money.
Good job with the house and it is neat how Olivia appears to be trying to look over the fence with a skull impaled on it.

I wish they added more people to help get the plutonium. It takes forever with just 3 people. Other than that I love it and I love Stewie!

I agree. I know they want to stretch out the content but we’re basically doing nothing this whole time we’re collecting it.
I also wish they would have had active participation for the blimp time traveling… As in, when it goes we go with it to another instance, Old West, prehistoric, etc., and did things with Stewie and Brian there.

Why does the blimp leave I live the way it looks even if Stevie decides it takes too long to get plutonium he could decommissioned it and let it become a decoration I’m tempted not to finish the district just so I can keep it longer
