Feel free to take a look at all the questions and answers all those that apply to you and your game play. As for the simple comments options, please keep them to the point. The more extensive comment options, please be specific in your information. Constructive Criticism is VERY helpful. (In other words, don’t just say “this sucks”. Instead explain why something is not working as you feel it should and offer some ways of how you feel it can work better. Even offer some tips of what to do to make it better. We ALL benefit from Constructive Criticism.)

With cookie couriers NOT appearing even with submitting a ticket I am going to be hard pressed to finish the event. I am a bit disappointed in tiny Co atm.

You’re the first person I’ve heard of who is also having this issue! I haven’t had a cookie courier appear in over a week now, and haven’t heard a thing from tinyco (I’ve sent at least 5 messages at this point). Where are you in your quest lines? Have you unlocked Mr Washee Washee yet (unlocking him seemed to go hand in hand with my couriers disappearing, but that may have been a coincidence)?

Too many problems with this event. Hundreds and hundreds of hired thugs have been required to complete tasks, and you can only hire one at a time. I have always been able to complete weekly challenges WITHOUT using clams. Simple math tells you that for each of their 24 hour challenges, there was well over 24 hours of thug hiring time needed. You would think they were making plenty of real world money with the mob rep competition (where the deepest pockets win) that they wouldn’t need to prod us so hard to spend clams. I shudder to think of how much real money the top player spent to have that much mob rep. I enjoyed the Star Trek event immensely, but about halfway through, I started to be in danger of not being able to update on time due to requirements of the event. This event I have been constantly behind, and it’s not from a lack of trying. The game constantly crashes on me. Sometimes I will fill the thug hiring que, and close the game, only to find out when I check the game a couple of hours later that it crashed while closing, and no thugs have been hired and the que is empty. I have my town stripped down to a skeleton crew of buildings, minimal decorations, and it still crashes just not as often.

I doubt we will see any action from the comments, they were once great with in game responses but have really fallen on that front. Unfortunately I missed the poll, but the game has turned the difficulty settings up to the maximum now it feels and unless you play with clams have very little hope. I am still in the middle of week 4, on the final judge run at the moment as well.

They read them all. Everyone we send them. Trust me. It is VERY helpful to put all this critical constructive criticism thoughts in there. It helps us all out as Players as it becomes MORE than just myself and Alissa emailing them saying “about this item…” and becomes more the word of thousands of players.
Constructive criticism is heard better too. No one wants to just be yelled, cussed at, nor sworn at… talking one to one… explaining… offering examples… backing it all up with data… companies hear that REALLY well. 😉
It’s why we focus posts on specific things. So we can help all we can and if there’s a trend, alert them. Also… I’ve seen TONS of suggestions from our site play out many times live in the game. Changes for the better. 😉
We will have more too. Meantime, even if they don’t respond… please still send your thoughts to them via in game.

Week 4 stuff unlocked an hour ago… So far behind. About a week, to be exact. I just can’t catch up. Work/life keeps getting in the way.

I still need 3 more golden trucks to get Cleveland’s promoter skin. The (unknown, undocumented) spawn rate of these trucks is just terrible, considering the large amount of them required.
This event just gave me the Fatfather, Diabeto, Cleveland Jr. and -if I’m able to unlock him- Box Promoter Cleveland. I bought Mike Tyson, but he was a major letdown in terms of helpfulness with the event. Everything else is pretty much out of reach.
Overall, a very substandard, exhausting and disappointing event.

This is probably the first event I will not finishand not due to not playing or not spending clams. I just started week four yesterday, finally got through one round of the courtroom today. It took forever to unlock mr washee, another character I didnt want. If bonnie’s skin is as difficult to get as lois’, I don’t know how I can possibly unlock it in a week. On a side note, tinyco missed an opportunity to have bonnie and joe be bonnie and clyde. Just sayin…

I only was able to unlock week 4 content yesterday. The delays from the crash and issues with tuba drops put me so far behind. Struggling to keep up.

My cookie couriers have completely disappeared…I haven’t had one in more than 3 days and I need one more to finish two quests (including Good to be a gangster). I’ve sent tinyco three in-app messages about this issue with no response. Has anyone else dealt with this? Is this a known bug? Any suggestions for getting it fixed? I’m getting extremely frustrated with this holdup…I was in the top 7k and now my ranking has dropped down to almost 60k. Not impressed with customer support at the moment.

Double check the app market update you are on and make sure it is 1.9.5. Also, try to restart your device to see if that helps trigger it. Other than that, I would suggest remove ALL roads except for patches you can easily see to prevent them being unseen when they spawn. They SHOULD arrive every 6-8 hours in groups of 3

Thanks Bunny. My app is currently up to date (1.9.5) on all three devices that I use for the game. I just installed it on one of those devices (an iPad) earlier today hoping that would solve the problem, but it didn’t. Restarting my iPhone didn’t help at all. My roads have been removed (except for one stretch) since the beginning of the event…I know I’m not overlooking any that are hiding. When I tap on the quest to clear a cookie courier, it gives me a message saying I’ve scared them all away and to check back soon. It’s been doing that for 3-4 days now, and I check pretty frequently (every hour or two during the day). Any other ideas or suggestions?? 😔

My purple cookie trucks are also missing FYI, but so far that hasn’t affected me. I still have Gurl Scouts and gold trucks.

I’m currently trying to gather enough cookies to get Schoolgirl Tricia, but it’s slow as hell. I’ve seen only the first special event, as I’m really lagging behind despite I’ve played daily. I still haven’t unlocked Washee (I still need a couple of tapes, after that I’m set) and just recently managed to get a third star from Tricias hide out.

You shouldn’t have enough just yet. She is a last Character. Similar to past events. They release them early so you know what to gain towards. Just like Jesus, Takei, and Kirk all did. To name a few. 😉

I am running approximately 5 days behind. I just unlocked Level 4 on Tuesday morning. I had the double whammy of the crashes trying for that obstacle in week 2, as well as the tubas that never seemed to drop. I spent ~400 clams back in week 2 to try to catch back up, but I am so far behind now, that I am just playing without spending any more clams. I am not trying for the Brian outfit, because throwing clams at a Mystery Box is just too risky and expensive.
I wish there was some way that when we email tech support, that it didn’t take 24-36 hours to get a response.
I kind of liked the original idea of a leaderboard, but when there are thousands of players that got affected by the crashes, and thousands of playing effected by the tuba drops, we all got left behind, and I feel pretty let down.
I have played for a year, but am thinking this might be time to uninstall the game.
Lastly, after all the problems, and many players spending hundreds and hundreds of claims, how is it that these events aren’t beta tested? Also, there has been no apology from Tiny Co., and no offers or emails on how Tiny Co. intends to make things right for us loyal players. We are paying peoples salaries, and if we all up and leave, that would be a shame.

I was out of the country for the first 10 days of the event, with almost no wifi access…as such, I would say I started effectively 8 days behind, and because of how dependent everything is on the goon queue, I haven’t really caught up. If the gurl scouts drop the shirts, I should be able to get Mr Washee Washee either just before I go to bed tonight or just after I wake up tomorrow, which is the only thing blocking me from getting to the current phase of the event. I did manage to get into the top 50K, which was my goal once I realized it would be impossible to get to the top 10K without spending lots of real money on clams, and I should be able to keep going up and stay there, particularly once I get un-stuck from where I am (as this is not the greatest way to gain mob rep, hunting for these last few items).

Thanks for the poll. I am struggling with this event, so I’m wondering how everyone else is doing (leaderboards position means nothing, since they are clam dependant in most cases) . When do you plan to post the results?

Just an update:
I’ve spent about $40 on the event so far and have played multiple times daily (about 8-10 logins daily). I’m teetering around the 48-52k mark on the leader boards. I just started week 4 content today; so, i’m about 5 days behind. Key issues for this: 1) Cleveland Jr. Tubas 2) Washee Washee Videos 3) Purple Trucks not showing glitch 4) Cookies being removed from squatters.
How about everyone else? Just Curious.

I’m surprised you’re down that low after having spent so much money and time. I’ve stayed under 20k and haven’t spent any money yet. I do check in to the game a lot though and try to be thoughtful about prepping for future tasks and raid obstacles.

Hi evil.. I’m a freemium player.. I’m ranked around 25,000-30,000 depending on the day. I’m on summer break so I’ve been able to commit a bit more time during the day compared to someone working a full time job. I just started week 4 content last night.. far from getting mob Lois but I spent some freemium earned clams to get washee (I’ve spent about 50 clams on this event, not sure how much that equates to). Those tubas really put me behind. I also bought the 5,000 cookie decoration which is slowing me down for Lois (I wanted the 1k mob fedoras that are earned from buying the decoration). Hopefully this gives you some comparison. I haven’t completed a single one of the weekly missions, which gives premium players a huge fedora boost, placing us freemiums at an unfair advantage to get carleone. I don’t like that, if they want to call the competition good fun.

Also confused by your rank – I’m (just about) staying in the top 10K and a freemium player. And was off on holiday with no access for three or four days.
The being diverted from cookie-earning tasks is irksome. No cookies from gurl scouts, cookie couriers and armoured biscuit trucks (see what I did there?). And keep getting questlines to divert me to use goons there rather than on cookie tasks. And no purple trucks. And many of the few characters with cookie-earning tasks keep being needed for non-cookie-earning item drops.
Mob rep is life and cookies are toilet paper.

Imo the problem with event is the fact that all the options are massively funneled by the fact that you need goons for everything and theres only one place to get them and only one at a time.
In star trek you had borg bertram, away missions, phaser battles, borg, nerds and flaming nerds and you could work on all at the same time (though there was some crossover with characters, you could work on mutiple things at the same time) here they offer loads (as usual) but you can only do them one at a time.

I can see that most players are on the same boat: massive crashing problem, tubas, 20,000 cookies, Brian’s outfit… The ridiculous amounts of goons needed and the time to create them. I still believe this was a filter event to identify hackers, but that it is not fair for honest players. If every Event is independent form each other, there is no reason to make this one ridiculously demanding, and I sustain that the Tubas issue was a mistake they are not willing to recognize. I hope they can remove everything from my game when it is over.

Obviously tubas have been the bane of this event and put so many of us considerably behind. I am dealing with it and grinding as much as I can. I put this suggestion in the poll but want to see if there is support for it here:
Because so many people are so far behind, I asked TinyCo to consider making the final week’s content available upon the launch (Thursday or whenever it is available) and not force people to have to complete the “Law of the Land” questline just to get the new content. With my current pace, I don’t expect to collect everything for mob Lois until next week (the armored trucks will be a challenge with the nunchucks that are available to wade through the judge obstacle). It would stink to only have the new content for a couple of days, especially for those of us affected by either the game lockout early in the event and/or the tuba debacle. At least if the new content launches with it is available, people could have a full week with it and then pick and choose what they want to focus on for the final week of the event. Just a thought. Anyone else support it?

Submitted my form and forgot to mention the fact they showed Brian’s outfit in the upcoming build menu for the first couple of weeks – then shoved it in a premium box so that anyone else had no chance of getting it. That was pretty annoying.
I’m not sure that Tinyco will even care about the negative feedback at this point. I personally have bought three premium characters for this event (just to use up the last of my clams, as this event has made me see that buying any more is a waste) and I’m still just outside the top 10,000 despite them helping me with rep, cookies and tasks.
So clearly anyone above me has either had insanely good luck on the drop rates (I was stuck waiting for the infamous tubas for an age) or has spent a lot more clams than I have. If that is even close to 10k people dropping money on clams, and judging by the top end of the leaderboard its a LOT of money, then Tinyco are laughing all the way to the bank and it doesn’t really matter if this event has been depressing for those of us who have played the game since day one in a freemium way,
Just my two cents, I’m sure others disagree.

My suggestions I didn’t put in the poll, only bc I doubt they would be addressed in time. With all the cookies needed for Mr. Washee Washee, School Girl Tricia, and Mob Wife Lois (30,000 +) why aren’t all trucks and cookie delivery girls dropping cookies still instead of coins now? I’m sure the bulk of us have our fair share of coins, that is the last thing we need when SO many cookies are required. Secondly, why are all Brian’s costumes clam related? New Year’s Brian, Firedog Brian, and now Mob Brian have all cost clams in some fashion. Just some constructive thoughts I’ve had.

How do people get through this so fast. I’m still on phase 3. I’m still trying to get mr washie washie and I’m on part 7 of the main quest line. I think tiny I should add at least one more week to this event to help people out like me so that we can all have a chance to get further

I don’t know that a majority of people are getting through it fast. I don’t know how one can without spending a lot of clams. Remorsefully I spent around 600 clams earlier in the event. It’s nowhere near what some apparently throw at this game but that’s still $20 in one throw!! The only thing that has done to this point is help me stay inside 10k on the leader board, but I’m slowly dropping back. I’m behind for the first time during an event despite constantly restarting tasks and such. I am on the current phase but late a couple of days and don’t have the costumes for Lois, Tricia or Cleveland.

Here are a few things I would have liked to seen and I am sure many others would have liked to seen.
1. The Tuba drop rate addressed much sooner then it was.
2. A queue that expanded with each RV so that a person could get better sleep, instead of having to wake up every 3-4 hours to restock there queue
3. When it was realized by the 100’s of thousands of players that there were a ton of login errors and people could not log into the game that you put the Event on hold for a week (save everyone’s progress in the event) and then when you feel that all the login issues were fixed resume the Event, that way everyone would have had a fair shake.
4. It does not effect me personally because I am still new to the game and have not even unlocked District 9 yet, but people have been clamoring for more land to put all of their buildings and decos on for some 6 months now, I know this because I actually read the message boards for this game.
5. It would have been nice to have separate queues for each Goon, because when you have challenges that require you to have X amount of these, and X amount of those and X amount of these and you must do it all in a 24 hr period and you give no warning as to when these challenges are going to pop up you are basically saying Freemium players you have no shot, I am not a freemium player, but I see these challenges are going to cost me at least 10-15 dollars to complete, and the rewards for the challenges are really pretty lame and again for people who have unlocked every district, they have no land to even put the decos on.
6. It would have been nice to have included more characters in the event what is the point of people unlocking Connie and Tom and Mayor West and Seamus and Carter etc etc if you are not going to have any use for them in events? I get that people new to the game have not unlocked some of those later stage characters and therefore it would be unfair to the newer players to have them used in main quests, but you could have used them in some smaller side quests that are not required to progress in the event, that way those characters are not just walking around taking up space, or just sitting in inventory because they really have to point in events.
7. In week 1 when you stopped the bushes from giving 3 Fedoras because people were buying up a ton of them in order to collect mad Mob Rep, then why did you in wee 2 make it so that Bamboo gave even better Mob Rep and make it so that people could jump of 20-60k Mob Rep by buying hundreds of them?
You Identify a exploit, shut it down, then create an even bigger exploit the very next week, and the exploit was identical in nature, buy decos get Mob Rep, what sense does that make? (to be honest I used this exploit and no am in line to finish with a Silver Griffin House)
8. Because of the Deco exploits I and thousands of other players earned Scarface Consuela on week 2, would be nice to add in some (Bonus) individual awards seeing as how by events end you will have 10’s of thousands of players with 2-3 Times the number of Mob Rep to have earned Scarface Consuela (I call her that because that is who she is modeled after.)
9. Thus far 3 out of the 4 rewards for getting 3 stars on the raids have been quite lame, Bad Cockroaches, The Asian, The shocker 4k, all pretty lame and going straight into most everyone’s storage.
10. This I think everyone can agree should absolutely be introduced into the game. GIVE US THE ABILITY TO CANCEL A TASK!!!! there is nothing worse then sending a person on a 12 hours task by mistake and there being nothing that can be done about it, OR sending a person on a 12-24 hour task only to then have some 24 CHALLENGE pop up and realizing you would have to spend 20-30 clams just to have your character finish his task so you can try and complete the challenge!
Canceling a task should have been something incorporated into the game the very first month that the game was put on the market!.

Well written Tobias, the only thing I am not seeing is #8 (doesn’t mean its inaccurate though). I have a feeling that a lot of creative and intelligent staff at TinyCo are frustrated because someone else in a higher decision making capacity can’t pull their head out of their %@**%.” and make adjustments based on what players are consistently conveying about the game and these “events”. I expect more of the same as long as the reins remain under the same control. Two things I’m hoping for #1 is that I’m proven wrong, #2 that I see it sooner in the next event and skip it instead of soldiering on.

I can say about needing more land, I just unlocked district 9 I have 3 blocks on the left side running north to south. I started playing around march 24th 2015, there’s been 3 major events since then and a lot of small ones

I Try and be efficient as possible, making as many buildings fit into a square without leaving any grass tiles, but I’m running out of land fast. At the start of the event I had the whole left side clear, now It’s filled up completely with event buildings. I can understand how long time players have no room whatsoever .

For the most part, the people that complain about not having enough land have already unlocked all available districts and land parcels. Before this point, it feels like there’s plenty of land. After a while of having these all unlocked though, and a great many events, people run out of space to put their event buildings and decos. I’ve gotten to the point where I have put almost everything from some of the events in storage. The thing is, I do wonder how well my tablet would handle it if I was allowed more land. If we were given more land to work with, people would have to be willing to put things away if their devices couldn’t handle it.

I am way, way behind. However, I unlocked Diabeto and Cleaveland Jr. Still have a ways to go for Washee, and not even thought about Mob Lois yet. I don’t care for this event at all, so as long as I can get some new characters and decorations out of it, I’m not going to stress and spend money or clams on it. However, I did spend clams on the Judge and I will probably buy Robocop as well. The judge simply because I want to ave characters from the show, and Robocop because I’m a fan of the movies and I regret not getting Alien, Predator, and Jason when they were offered.

This event can be better if TinyCo could extend 1 week without adding anything on it. I just reach week 4 event with only 2 days left to week 5 event.

I was struggling to get cigar boxes for the Fathfather in week 1 but it didn’t matter because I got hit with the Android crash bug, I would have been just as far behind regardless. Then I got hit with needed drops for Cleveland Jr dropping for Mr Washee instead. TinyCo fixes things for Cleveland Jr and I finally get him unlocked only to find out I need to level him up for a couple of days before doing a 16 hour task for the first quest in week 3.
I have been able to rush through week 3 by queuing tasks ahead of time, currently on part 7 waiting for Peter to finish a 24 hour task. It will still take 2 or 3 days to get items for Mr Washee as I had a lot of takedowns to catch up on.

I don’t see how this 24 hour event is possible, already spent 100 clams to try to get through part of it, still don’t see how it’s possible

Re: The mob Lois question. Maybe you should have asked if we had upgraded the mansion first. Lois isn’t even in my game yet. Hope to have Washee Washee tonight. The first 8 or so days, I was consistently in the top 10000. Currently hovering around 30000. Would really like to achieve the main objectives, Tricia, Consuela, and Cleveland.

That is kind of implied by asking if you have unlocked her as well as items needed for her. That’s why it says to only answer those that apply. Remember, this is to just get a gauge where everyone is at. 😉

I think this event would be much improved with one tweak. Being able to hire more than one goon at a time. Since you need them for item drops, raids, and fort nox you just can’t make enough. Now it might not solve all of the problems but it would help a lot.

This is what I put in the comment section:
Don’t use multiple goons to take out Gurl Scouts, etc. to get an item. Wasting 4-6 hours to get an item to then waste another 2-3 hours creating goons only to receive nothing repeatedly is frustrating to the player.
Don’t display a character skin at the beginning of the event making it look like its a part of an item collecting set for a Clam reward only to then move it to a Mystery Box or limited time bonus (Klingon Meg) for buying a premium characters thus making the Clam reward worthless.

This mobsterevent where you need 20,000 cookies for Tricia and the extra rare items for Lois is truly making this game a pay to win game. I personally have yet to get any of the drops for Gangster Lois and am at just over 5,000 cookies. I am probably going to delete this game. By the way, have probably spent about $100 to unlock other stuff in this game, but this takes the cake.

A little helpful tip, currently I’m in the top 50 on the leaderboards. If you buy 5 of the 700 clam machines for cookies, you will soar on the leaderboards insanely. I did this since day 1 and it has risen me up to 85000 mob rep. Hope this helps

This really illustrates the lack of interest I have in the leaderboard. You are certainly welcome to spend whatever you like on the game, in fact, thank you for doing so, as without clammers, there would be no revenue stream. Having said that, buying 5 of those machines is $100 in clams, so for the possible shot of getting one of the top 2 or 3 prizes for that kind of money seems out of whack. Now, if with that $100 you could double your land area, well, then, that’s a whole ‘nother ballgame.

Not sure how this is “helpful.” Spending hundreds of dollars on clams isn’t an option for most people…

In week 4 (sort of).
(1) Making good progress with the main task (Law of Land 4)
(2) On tail end of the first courthouse attach (presiding judge — 4 of 6 done — very slow progress).
(3) Not even close to the 250 gloves (its not a priority now)
(4) Become the Best 3 (not really trying — just getting what I can when I can)
(5) Prized Possession Part 8 (inching along)
(6) Legal Eagle — came up this morning — not even going to try it
(7) Main Game (yes doing this too) — on What the Deuce Part 1 (yep, blimp is built!) and Quahog Prison Blues part 4 (yep got Jailhouse Meg!)
Who needs a life? Obviously not me, LOL.

Well I hope we are going to get more time on this since Cleveland Jr was so difficult to get. Also I really wish they would add land to every single or every other big event to put all our stuff. What’s the point in doing quest for stuff if we can’t enjoy it outside of our inventory?!?

Thanks for the poll. I think I am way behind but not too stressed. The only thing I really wanted was Cleveland Jr. and I got him. My biggest issue was that there was so much going on and so much required the same goons that’s got a little lost. Maybe the intent was to let you play multiple ways but I feel it was muddled a bit hence why I’m not even sure I’m behind.
