Hello There Hoppereenos!
Quahog has gone gangster and brought us an offer we can’t refuse! As Don Corleone has decided to setup shop for his counterfeit cookie operation right in Quahog…and he’s enlisted Peter’s help!
As you progress along in the Event, you will have Alternate Questlines in the game that will give you a chance to earn additional Mob Rep & Gurl Scout Cookies. We are going to be doing these Questlines a little differently, more of a Community Effort. This post we will be starting off The Best Around.
So take a peek below and see how YOU can help out….
Due to the sheer amount of Goons and time that goes into this particular Questline (and others like the Become the Best), the Clam Cost to SPEED through them is not something we feel should be invested. Those Clam costs can be better used for other MAIN information for the Event & Site. Because of this, we are allowing YOU, the Readers, to participate in sharing your personal Questline progress with other Players.
Feel free to fill in the blanks in the comments below the Part #, Tasks, and Rewards you ran into for The Best Around Alternate Questline. Also, feel free to offer additional tips and strategies you used to complete them.
To begin, we will start out the Questline…
The Best Around Pt. 1
Peter starts
Take Down 5 Armored Trucks- Requires 2 Yakisoba Each from Copahavana (10 Yakisoba, 10 Nunchucks, & 5hrs “Hire” Time)
Take Down 5 Cookie Couriers- Requires 3 Showgirls Each from Copahavana (15 Showgirls, 15 High Heels, & 11hrs 15mins “Hire” Time)
Take Down 5 Gurl Scouts- Requires 2 Luchadors Each from Copahavana (10 Luchadors, 10 Luchador Masks, & 10hrs “Hire” Time)
Completed Task Earns 1000 
The Best Around Pt. 2
Peter starts
Send 25 Wise Guys to Attack Fort Nox- Requires 25 Wise Guys from Copahavana (25 Wise Guys, 375 Gurl Scout Cookies, 12hrs 30mins “Hire” Time)
Send 13 Luchadors to Attack Fort Nox- Requires 13 Luchadors from Copahavana (13 Luchadors, 13 Luchador Masks, & 13hrs “Hire” Time)
Send11 Evil Showgirls to Attack Fort Nox- Requires 11 Showgirls from Copahavana (11 Showgirls, 11 High Heels, & 8hrs 15mins “Hire” Time)
Send 9 Yakisoba to Attack Fort Nox- Requires 9 Yakisoba from Copahavana (9 Yakisoba, 9 Nunchucks, & 4hrs 30mins “Hire” Time)
There you have it. A Community post that YOU, the Reader, can help out with by offering the additional details to your fellow Players.
Again, these Questlines are more an alternative and there to pass time and earn extra Mob Rep and items IF you have the extra time and Goons to do so. Do NOT waste Clams to speed through it as it will cost you a LOT. Otherwise, we would suggest focusing on the Main Questlines and those that move you through each Weeks Content.

In The Best Around Pt. 5 the Mr Washee Washee street fight against Peter completes but then shows as not completed. Done it three times now and still shows as a task for Mr Washee Washee to complete. Bug? Frustrating!

Best Around Part 5 seems bugged. I’ve completed all four tasks, and gotten credit for three of them, but it won’t accept Washeewashee’s Street Fight task. In fact, in his quest menu, it isn’t highlighted in blue. I’ve had him do the quest three times now,and no luck.

Same with me too Bunny as I’m at Law of Land part 4 And theres no quest of Become the Best for me.
I did not complete rise to the top because I’m focusing on other task.

I think you have to get to a certain point in the “OTHER” Alternate Questlines to trigger a new one along with being within the new Week Content that also brings it. I did not finish Rise to the Top intentionally, but am now just to Part 6 (Just finished Part 5) . I am on Become the Best Part 6 (also just completed Part 5). I have the Best Around Part 2 almost complete as I have been using Goons for other things.
So a lot of different things going on. The Weekly Content Needed, the Previous Weeks Alternates played to a point, and enough room left open in your task menu to allow MORE Tasks to pop up. TOO many tasks in your Task Menu and no more can pop up.

These kinds of quests are good to work on when there’s nothing else to work on currently. However, if Fort Nox is currently being repaired and I am unable to make goons for any obstacles or quests currently, what should be the next priority? I’m not sure if it’s worth making goons just to attack wanderers, or just not make anything.

I usually keep the Goons wandering just to start the new week (like Showgirl, Yakisoba, Luchador). But… time it so there are some open spots in Queue for the new Goon (as there is still one more to come).

Finished all weekly tasks two days ago, half way through raid number 4, and this didn’t show in my game until I completed Become The Best part three this am. Plenty of quest spots available. Interesting as I certainly could have tackled part one and still been ready for week 4 content.

Looks like I’ll be focusing on this for the next day or so, as I accidentally sent Mort on a 24 hour task right before I needed him for the 1 hour task in the third run through of the judges court. Tinyco really, really needs to implement a “cancel task” option.

Is there a list of characters that have tasks to earn mob rep/cookies? I’ve stored most of mine and don’t really want to take 60 of them out just to check!

Most alternate… but the main ones outside the ones you unlock are all listed in the Mobster Event Page (Fatfather Icon on our Main Page).

Doesn’t have to do with this post, but figured I’d ask: I have not seen or heard anything about Detective Scrotes other than the little figure shown before this week’s mansion upgrade. Is he obtainable somewhere? Did a search on this site and it came up empty.

I got this far but I can’t trigger have Mr Washee Washee street fight. If I click on the OK button next to the objective, it does take me to Mr Washee Washee’s task list but there’s no highlighted task. At the bottom there is a 10-hour task called “Street fight” which also requires Peter (and has the amazing Street Fighter scene from season 9!), however this doesn’t register with the Best Around objectives… Am I missing something?

Make sure you have open task space for it too. If your Task Menu is too full no more can pop up.

Overall I’m pleased since I am playing freemium with no cookie machines and could barely get the game to open for 5 days of the first week of the event. I do think it will be tough for me to hang onto the top 5000 for this last week, but I’ll be OK with slipping back to prize 4 since that was my original goal.

Yeah uve done really well considering. I never normally buy premium stuff maybe 1 character here and there, like Mr myagi this time. reminds me of childhood so much so I got him. He helped with tapes for washee washee but nothing else…
My rep comes from constant grinding like u. It’s weird ive never cared for a character like this except the Don. Just sucks that the 1 character that I MUST have is the top leaderboard prize lol.. I love anything mafia related so not getting the Don would be failure
Just a shame no more Corleones were added like Michael or Sonny Corleone

Only 13 more wise guys to complete the best around pt 2. Really helped running the showgirls concurrently between the two quests. Good Goon management is what it’s all about for me. Spend some clams at the end of the day on Fort Nox to get in two attacks each day.

Even though I’m Very tempted to make Miss Bunny repeat herself yet again after the last poster did the same, I’ll just say I just upgraded the Mansion (way behind) and then The Best triggered not sure I’ll have time to get into it but might with that payout. I want Consuela!!

I let this quest sit around a while so just finished part 1 last night. I might be able to finish the second part over this next week, but it might be tough with everything else going on, and it takes way too long for Nox to come back.

a friend is still working on week 3 content trying to unlock washee and said this quest popped up for him this morning. I’ve had it since Saturday I think, and it just popped up randomly while working on week 4 stuff.

I am on part 2, but I am finishing up a raid, then I will concentrate on the part two, at least until the next update. If I had known abotu the 3K rep for part two, I would have blown off the raids. *chuckle*

Unless something really special hits this week with acquiring Bonnie outfit (didn’t get Brian skin so no 25 clams), concentrating on this may be the smart play to move up the ranks vs completing week 5 content.

1K mob rep for part one seems pretty nice, especially when we may be doing a lot of these things for other reasons. Part 2 seems really hard. I wonder if it’s better to work on this if there’s nothing else to do, or attacking Fort Nox with the 55 evil showgirls required for Become the Best part 6 . Anyone have any ideas about priority order between these?

I just read that Become the Best Part 6 only gives 350 rep, so I am thinking focusing on Part 2 of this quest is a better idea.

I haven’t been getting any one day ruined challenges for “tons of mob rep”. I got the first one and read about more that are supposed to pop up but they never have. I just upgraded the mansion to this week’s level (the mob wife Lois one” and still nothing. Any ideas?

As the post says, it was only intended for Players they felt would be able to complete it. Those that had made premium purchases and would be more likely to be far enough to accomplish them as depending on where they fell, you may have to use Clams to finish them.
Anything beyond that, you will have to ask TinyCo… as it says in the post I linked. Sorry.

Ha its a tough one. I keep destrying nox with in a few hours after i wake up so i can get the timer started again, so when i wake up the next day i repeat it.
Im running low on heels for show girls though (trying to do the send 55 show girls to nox too) and do the additional raids (im almost done with raid 3).

As far as I can recall, Pt.3 paid 350 rep, Pt. 4 paid 500, and Pt. 5 pays 2500 (That last one I’m 100% sure about).
Part 5 is 4 character quests:
– Fight Promoter Cleveland – Promo Himself – 12 hr
– Cleveland Jr. – Take Medication for Brainstorms – 18 hr
– Diabeto – Overeat – 12 hr
– Gangster School Girl Tricia – Lead the Yakisoba Gang – 24 hr

Beating part 2 gave me 3000 hats and then part three is only 300 :(. The third part has a diabetic task and two others I can’t remember. Part 4 is destroy Fort Knox and send 36 yakisoba thugs to attack Fort Knox

If you gals can could you tell me how much it would approximately cost to speed up these side quests 300,400 clams?

Think of it this way… factor the cost of speeding one Material Drop and then the Goon for that Material sped up in Copahavana… then multiply.
Example: ONE Showgirl material drop (18) + “Hire” (6) = 24 Clams
You are looking at several THOUSAND Clams to speed through them.

How does this start? I know you say that Peter starts it, but what are the prerequisites — does it start randomly, automatically? Or do you have to complete X, Y, and/or Z quest for this one to get going. I would love to help fill this in but Peter hasn’t been nice enough to get me going. 🙂

It pops up at different points for players, but mainly… in Week 4 Content. I want to say for me… it seemed around Law of the Land 4 or 5.

Thanks for doing the questline, I am hoping that it is some kind of thing where part 1 gives you 1k mob rep, part 2 gives you 2k mob rep etc etc,, but that might just be wishful thinking.
