I have held encore concerts with avril, peter, snoop, and joe but the mission icon remains and im not passing the mission? I notified tinyco, but what in the heck am i missing?

Hardcore Encore? Did you tap go from the task itself to trigger it? Then perform the Encore. Outside of Contacting them, that would be my suggestion

Well it finnaly worked. I just jept doing encores and it worked with avril. It also put me in first place on the leader board!

Boy, I messed up. I’m on the step After PeterPalooza Part 7, “Hardcore Encore”… but can’t do concert because instead of old Avril Lavigne concert, I have to do it with Rasta Joe concert… so I have to earn all the things now to get that character. It’s taking me a while and now the timer is goinog on Rapper Brian (which needs Honey Bees and things that I don’t think your get until you finish Hardcore Encore step..). Ohhh boy… I should’ve consulted familyguyaddicts before starting

How do you hold an encore? when I click the quest button it brings me to the stage which just wants me to unlock the next artist.

You have to clear the new Artist, then you will have access again.

I clicked later on Avril’s album and am having trouble getting it now. I am on an android device, through google play. It wants a redemption code but I don’t remember ever seeing one.

I was away on Vacation when this event started so I rushed a bit to catch up. I activated the week 2 content but havent clicked on the building which you said will start the rapper brian timer. I am working in the dead district. I am currently trying to get the last two tank helmet for the ghost guy. I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game 8/01/15, because of glitch.

They must be desperate for characters if they are resorting to one-hit wonders like Avril. It can’t be that “complicated” to find someone new.

Does anyone know if I throw the Avril concert prior to getting to Peterpalooza Pt. 7 if it will retroactively complete when I get to the quest? Right now I’m only on Pt. 5 of the quest, just wondering if I should hold off.

She only has ONE Concert she can do. From there on out they are Encores, so I assume that is a yes.

i managed to update it yesterday, but i couldnt play at all today. Ive been trying for 14 hours now to start it up. I do have plenty space, good internet connection, i restarted my device a few times too.

Had an issue where I couldn’t get past peterpalooza pt3 as the game wasn’t recognising that I had bought the decoration.
I messaged tinyco and they advised if the decoration is bought before the quest then the purchase doesn’t count. I’ve replied to say its never been the case before and a bit out of order but thought I should everyone know as well.

I am not sure. I assume we may. But only time will tell. I have everything I need and am still earning them, though… I can get more than one of some items.

I’m also considering the pick building. How many picks It drop each time? Needing 100 for Meg would mean running the Peter/Toad task 20 times, 3 hrs per, 60 hours total. That is doable but it ties Peter up for half the week. The building might help if it droppes more than one pick at a time.

Concerts also earn picks. I just got 30 of them from my first concert.

Concerts max at 50 picks each. I’m at 67 picks and I didn’t get the pick building. The first concert is based on buying stuff but the encore concert(s?) are just based on Joe/Quagmire/Peter/Avril each doing a task.
The concert itself is just about tapping on the purple dress girl fans who appear throughout the 2 minute event. Each girl drops either cash, glowbands, or 1-2 stars. Getting 40 stars is the max and the star drop rate is probably around 90% or so. Take all the characters off your streets you can so the only stuff moving is the fans you need to tap and you can hit 40/40 stars fairly easy(mine had 15s remaining). I also got 100 glowbands to boot for getting max stars. I’d assume the encore concerts have the same rewards or similar so reaching Rockstar Meg should be quite easy.

Not load. I tried to load aug 11 and it failed to load and I noticed an update. Did the update and game will still not load. Any idea? I hit the help button and have emailed several times.

So I had this glitch yesterday when I kept visiting your page and it gave me the payout of th concert you threw I think. Something like 70 rings and 20 pics. For a few hours every time I visited you it happened and they all added to my account. Probably only happened when I visited your page because you are the farthest along and only ones throwing concerts. it’s gone now but that was a helpful little glitch while it lasted. PS Bunny why does your land constantly have an army of taco trucks lol?

They are my “Coin Farm”. I use them in the test game when I start to get low to boost it back up again. Then… I nuke the test town and away they go. 😉

Where is it supposed to be the stuff you create in the merch kiosk? Cause I created PeterPalooza Fence and it doesn´t seem to be anywhere, not even in the inventory.

If you made an item, it usually has you place it right away in your town, so it could already be there. If you do not place it, into your Inventory storage it goes. Check ALL and DECORATIONS Tabs. In your town… It is slim in size, so easily missed behind a building. If you looked everywhere and still can’t find it… in game message them for help.

The Merchandise Kiosk was a little flaky for my when I Redeemed the Peterpalooza Banner last night. After the animation nothing popped out, but didn’t take any Glow Sticks. I did it again a few minutes ago and the Banner finally popped out taking Glow Sticks.

Most of my older toons now have a blank spot for xp gain on tasks.

On both my android devices if I try to spend clams to end an activity early, the app just shuts down. No error message. Must be the new update. Has never happened before.

any chance of other characters generating glowsticks once Avril’s first concert is past? Hesitant to throw other characters on long tasks to get them off the streets if they may come more in handy soon.

Just a quick question. I have all my characters in storage except the ones I need for whatever quest line I am doing. Or whatever things u need to get characters. But whenever we get a big event and they use different forms of cash.. like glow Sticks or cookies or whatever. I notice characters get said things for certain tasks. How do I know which ones drop monies for tasks without going through my whole inventory which is alot. Been an addict for over a year.. 🙂

For those who are having the ‘crash when the game starts’ issue, here’s what I did to solve it myself this morning (NOTE: Gotta be set up with Google or Facebook in the game for this to work) — Uninstall, Re-install, play the intro part again, then it will let you load your previous game from the “cloud”. Hey, at least it worked for me. Back to work!

Is it normal that after the toads first appeared the female fans only respwan every 4 hours in 5 quantities?
In my game 5 toads respawn every 2 hours but not the female fans.

There is no set time frame released to the public… I was only going off of what it seemed like visually in my game. So what you are seeing could be very likely what you will continue to see in your game.

Bloody game. Sent Chris on his 6 hour task to get the last bracelet I needed last night. Sent Peter to check people’s bags. Sent Lois on her 12 hour for that thingy for Avril. Woke up this morning and none of it took. I am already 12 hours behind in this event. Any idea why this glitch happens so often? I waited a few seconds for tasks to begin.

It sounds like something in your game is not syncing up. That usually happens to me if I leave the game to soon and don’t let it “catch up” to my progress… if that makes sense. So I make sure I visit a few places, go to Ollie land, etc to ensure my actions are syncing up. At times, I will even go out then back into the game again just to make sure. It can be a connection/lag issue anywhere from within your game, to your internet connection, to your device. It is hard to pinpoint at times. Only you will know your personal gaming better than anyone else.

Does anyone know if you have to have all of the parts of the questline completed before you hold Avril’s first concert? I will have her in a few hours but will not be caught up on the questline. Will I have to collect again to have another concert when I get to Part 7 or will the concert I already completed count? Thanks!

Thanks Bunny. I figured that you might not know since you are rushing tasks to help all of us :). Perhaps a reader might.
Let me try it this way, can you run infinite concerts off the same initial accumulation? I.e., are you running concert after concert (with encores) when your characters are free or can they only be run after specified steps have been completed? I read through the initial posting and I think I need to see it play out but I am nervous to do something out of sequence for fear of being stuck in an infinite loop for which there is no escape.
I guess I don’t want to run a concert in my excitement and mess up the questline and not be able to complete the questline to advance to next week’s content. That would be very bad. Even if the concert counted no matter when it ran, that would be good news. Does that make sense?

Because the questline has a pair of 8-hour tasks followed by a 12-hour task, it is very conceivable that players will get Avril much earlier than that point in the questline and could mess themselves up if they run a concert that won’t count and then can’t get back to that point. We have seen that happen with questlines before in events.

Right now, the Concert was a one time thing. The Encores are infinite. I have the option now of both Homer and Avril to try.

Then I had better hold off until it shows up in the questline. Don’t want to totally mess myself up when there are some other things to have the characters do.
I giggled when I read “Homer”. I know you meant Peter. It amazes me you guys can keep straight what is happening in both games. I can barely keep straight what is happening in my one. It is a credit to you guys and all you do for the players. I am quite sure many of us would have stopped playing months ago were it not for this blog and all of the hard work you and Alissa put in to it. I hope TinyCo keeps the snafus down to a minimum in this event so you guys don’t have to fend off the rioting mob. 🙂
