The Popcorn has been popped. Death is in the game. A psychotic Slashing Cat is terrorizing our towns, so what do we need? MORE TERROR!!!
Phase 2 is now live in our games, and oh the HO HO HO Horror it is bringing in. Blood sucking. Moon Howling. MORE Creepy Characters. MORE Creepy items. MORE Creepy… ummm… CREEPS!! hack hack hack hack chop chop chop chop kill kill kill kill….
With this New Phase, comes many New Questlines. Questlines that will walk through the Event with you collecting items needed to progress. Like Items from the Movie Projection Booth. This is a continuation of that.
This Questline appeared in our games 10/13 triggered by Peter.

I wish they would continue to up the amount of soda and popcorn you need for film reels. It’s not like when you up them there is a way to get lots more. Assuming the amount of soda for 10 reels doesn’t increase from 50 for me it will be 6 more days till I can get slasher bait lois.

I know I’ve seen many posts saying that while the characters are werewolves they are still doing their tasks. That is not the case on my game. With mine they are in limbo the whole time they are werewolves and sometimes get turned into werewolves twice while doing a 4 hour task. Is this isolated, or has anyone else mentioned it?

Reported and seeing increase in reports. The main thing is DO NOT TOUCH THEM once they turn back. If you do, it cancels their return to their location to sync back up to that task. You have to leave them alone and if you know where they are going… go there and wait. I saw mine walk over, tapped on the building to see their task said “waiting”, and as soon as they got back there it synced up… then the check mark appeared to clear them.
Any interference with this cancels the action. Tapping on them once they’re released, or using their icon in the upper left corner to check on them or their tasks will cancel it. So be careful. Otherwise I did report it and waiting on a reply.

Hi Bunny,
I don’t know if this has been discussed, but is there a point to get prom night at Buddy Cianci High other than just having it? I will only earn the required amount of reels to unlock Slasherbait Lois at some point this evening. I will assume that we’re going to be needing to earn reels for week 3’s events. Therefore I am torn between getting Lois and letting the Buddy Cianci timer just run out or not getting her at all until some point in the future.
Do you happen to have any inkling whether:
1) You can just buy the prom night skin?
2) If I don’t get Lois, I’ll be blocked form the week 3 stuff?
3) I should just blow off the prom night skin?

You can just buy it… though you will pay through the ROOF!
If it is like last week, you need the current Phase items complete (expired timer counts too) in order to move on to the next page
If I was just working to get prizes, I would pass on it.

I really wonder if TinyCo even read our messages. I sent them days ago complaining about them hiding these timed events that can sucker us out of getting a character if we start the timer too soon. Their first reply was some stock answer about an unrelated popcorn issue. The second reply, days later was a stupid “sorry for delay, you still having issues?” message.

Second message is the “Automated” one. It means they are cleaning out the inboxes of players that don’t need help any further so they can focus back on those that still do. THIS Is the message I always say to watch for and respond to if you still need to be kept in Tech Queue. So… respond back if issue is not resolved. 😉

question anyone know how often the slasher cat chases Lois? Since all my unholy nun water balloon people are werewolves I can’t get popcorn that way so I figured my best bet is to send peter on short tasks and have him saving lois multiple times per day. Every time I do a short time task for peter hour the cat never pops up but the minute I send him on a longer task the cat shows up again.

I’m waiting till the last minute to spend clams on patty in the small and slim chance tinyco change what’s going on with the reel problem. I’m just bummed I won’t be anywhere near starting phase 3 as lois costume is a long way from being unlocked in my game.

My timer is almost up with little less than two days. I am planning on getting everything besides Lois’ get brutally murdered quest x3. So I’ll spend clams on Patty and Michael Myers. When I buy Patty what happens? Do I get everything up till that point? Will I be able to get everything after the required building for Patty? Will the 24 hour trigger happen for the building skin?

If you bypass the Tasks for Slasher Bait Lois at a cost of 75 Clams, all it does is bypass the tasks… you will still have Lois locked and needing to be earned for and unlocked. The Library, if you run into an issue let them know. It should now go into your Inventory so you can keep going on the other Booth items

Okay, so just to clear things up, I will get the library (not that it is an issue, I will have it by then) but it will skip the task parts. I will still have to unlock Lois and everything else leading up to “grand prize” then before this Thursday or whenever they begin week 3. Correct?

Not BEFORE… no. You have til end of Event to progress in the different Phases. Just new items will come into play and you can’t access Phase 3 items until Phase 2 are done. But they’ll still be there for you.

Wait hold up, now I’m confusing myself. In order to progress with the main quest, you need Slasher lois I believe, at part 7. Therefore I need to get all of week 2 items, minus the house deco, to progress with the story? I get confused from thinking too much at times, I apologize Bunny.

Yes. You still have to finish Phase 2 to access Phase 3. But it won’t go away tomorrow if you’re not done. It’s still there until you’re done with it.

Yes and no. I meant that I have to get all of the week 2 prop items in order to continue with the main quest. So it’s mandatory to get all of week 2 items to finish week 2 as a whole. So therefore I’m going to be further behind because I have about four or five things I need to get done with prop wise. Nothing in relation to them disappearing once week 3 starts.

Don’t stress it too bad. Know that everyone is struggling this Phase. Everyone. So you may feel behind… but you’re probably about equal with the crowd. 🙂

True, but still. Innmy personal experience, once I’m behind no matter what, I never get the stuff I truly want. The characters and skins would disappear by the end of the event for… A good long while till I have to spend clams on them in the future. I get we have till November and also possibly an extension if they’re courteous enough to do so, but I like to get stuff when they were meant to be gotten. A little peeve but meh. Hope this doesn’t sound like a rant, it wasn’t meant to as to just my felt in a bit of a bummed mood. Just of a feeling of not liking to be lagging behind really.

I get what you mean. Even the Premiums are feeling behind too. Trust me. I am doing all I can on my end to help the “Situation”. Sending them all the Reader Feedback I see as well as directing them to WTD. Hoping there will be a change to help Players start back on course with where they should be in the game.

Yes but you know as well as I do that if a person doesn’t stay caught up that by the time the event ends they probably won’t get everything that they want to get. I am usually one to be caught up and ready every week for the next Phase BUT I am still 160 reels away from SB Lois and can’t advance in the main questline until I get her and with a payout of 8 soda per Werewolf and only a few here and there from bat flocks it will be quite a few days before I get her and be late starting the new Phase. So at that rate I may never see the end of the event and I don’t always spend clams on everything BUT this is surely a clam heavy event and it doesn’t seem to bother you or Tinyco on bit.

Well that was just plain RUDE of you to say! How dare you accuse ME of Clam amounts not having an impact on ME! Do you have ANY idea how much of MY personal money I have spent to give YOU Free tips and information to save YOU as many Clams as possible and get as much as YOU can free???!!! OVER TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!! And it climbs each and EVERY Event! So how dare you come to ME with attitude and accuse ME of not caring!! YOUR attitude is the kind of comments that made Alissa walk away from the site. YOUR attitude is why I myself am barely keeping this site alive and may pull the plug if the disrespect continues. If MY help isn’t doing anything for you, then why do you still come here and ask for help?
THIS is what happens when people pull attitudes with US and bash US for a game that is NOT OURS!! Taking YOUR anger and personal frustration out on the ADDICTS is not just disrespectful, it is cruel and completely unfair. I WILL be vocal about it as I am sick and tired of it. I apologize Bunny BUT I would have thought that the amount of clams needed for Phase 2 was going to be less then Phase 1 because I thought that Tinyco would have listened to people about the 24 hour timer on the eight prize in the projection box but it is worse than that and it is frustrating that I won’t be getting to Phase 3 on time today because they upped my scream level too far up and the fact that they hardly have a way to get soda. I am grateful for this site I am but with this event it seems to be very clam heavy and it doesn’t seem that nothing is being done about it either. So again I apologize for my comment I am just frustrated because I am not where I am supposed to be in the event unless I pay over $100 in clams out the door.

And I get that frustration and understand it as I too am spending a LOT of Clams this Event. It is not an easy thing to stomach as I can’t skip items, if I do… YOU won’t get the details. So I pay out probably 100 times the average player to get it all and get it now. I just ask that you direct it towards the people causing the frustration and not those that are helping you. I can’t control their costs, but I CAN control letting people know where to watch out and save money or not spend any at all. Know what I mean. 😉

i’m workin on getting the Plastered Witch! Patty’s timer has roughly a little over a day left and all i have left for her is to have Slasher Bait Lois Be Brutally Murdered 3X so definitely gonna be cuttin it REAL close LOL!…also FOR ONCE i’m on the required Scream Level for tomorrow’s phase3 crap! all in all wit the few changes they’ve made in the game i’m back playing and enjoying everything and not continuously bein stressed out and mad. This is how a game is SUPPOSE to be! all fun and entertainment!❤💜💙💛❤

There are a LOT of Variables, but the payouts remain 10/12. I am on Level 11 and still the same. They did up that from only 5 last Phase. Will have to wait and see what they’re working on and release tomorrow.

I can’t believe how crazy this is with the reels. I have come to term that it gets difficult to get reels as ur lvl increases but what I fine fustrating as heck is that the numbers keep Changing while im on that level. It changed 3 times on 7 and it change 3 more times when I’m 8. The amount is ridiculous now 140 popcorn + 50 sodas to get 12 reels. Do u know why this is happening bunny cuz Im sick of spending clams to get patty and now it’s impossible with 2 days left for me to get lois. I just finish getting the dark library so I’m still 3 more items away from getting lois and doing her 12hrs task 3x. Everything was going fine until it start changing unexpectly on me, I write to them but I know by the time I even get a respond her time will expire and there’s nothing they can do.

this quest is just like the one that appeared for the district recently, it is a tracking questline. i have an app that moniters apps by alerting me when i am sending them info, and everytime i clicked claim reward a ping notice was sent. during normal game play, no info is sent when i claim reward from a quest. they are checking how far behind the majority of the players are. so changes will probaly be coming soon.

It sure seems like we haven’t had any downtime in the game in over a year. You are appreciated, so keep that in mind the next time you feel burned out.

Don’t wait. You never have to. We don’t put them up weekly. Just refresh it now and then when it gets full. Just use the most current one. They are ALWAYS open. Anytime. 🙂

I’m at level 9 and getting reels is becoming ridiculously difficult. I’ve messaged Tinyco my concerns. And the thing is I’m not deliberately trying to level up because I know how it gets harder and harder to get reels. It’s just happening that way. I would like to say that I’m sure I would be in even worse shape if it wasn’t for all the great advise from Bunny.

I seem to be stuck on part 9 – I only have 12 reels and it seems to be taking forever to get reels – half my characters are warewolves and so I can only get 1 cannon ball at a time and can’t collect anything from the others that are warewolves… But I’m not complaining – I get what I get and oh well about the rest…saving 3D glasses in case we need them for something good later on – it’s nice that I can use my unlocked ghosts for more glasses!

Bunny, we know you were away from the game for awhile and we all respect that and send best wishes with whatever your dealing with. Just curious because there seemed to be some hinting Monday that TinyCo was looking into making some changes as it related to werewolves, etc. Can you confirm if that has taken place? I have not seen anything to the positive. Thank you.

I am seeing reports that Characters are NOT changing so fast. Some stopped changing altogether. Then reports that LESS at a time are changed. Like if they had 12 at a time before MAX… its now just like 8 or 9. Still waiting for some other responses. 🙂

Thank you. I guess I meant “official” word from your sources out on the west coast. I turned both Joe and Quagmire yesterday and again this morning and they didn’t return to their tasks nor did they drop anything (I was seeking water balloons and it had been much more than four hours since I had been in my game). I have stopped turning altogether because I didn’t want to waste the precious cannon balls but I can’t do that much longer or I will be even further behind. I was kinda hoping they had fixed this — because it is bad — and I could return to game playing. Thank you.

Yeah, they just change slower, meaning you totally have enough time to collect their tasks. The game is certainly programmed to have the vital
charachters wolf out first, so over the time required to collect they inevitably end up back as werewolves.
I cleared my item dropping charachters and was suprised they hadn’t turned back when I checked in a hour later. But after a few minutes of play, they changed and were right back where I started. Luckily I finally ended up unlocking Death so I am building up slight canonball reserve to free my item droppers.
Too bad about Patty tho….
2 days to go and I need 160 reels PLUS time to have Lois be murdered 3 times (8hr task?)

but failing Patty means I can ignore the rest of Meg’s wierd friends and maybe the whole thing will go smoother.

The other day he showed back up at the cloning machine for me with the unlock over his head. Once I clicked on him, he was good still good to go and at maxed level. Place your cloning machine if you don’t have it out, maybe that will help.

How far am I? Behind. So many reels. I have 48 of 50 reels necessary for the Dark Society Library and I’ve actually spent a lot of clams. It’s become increasingly difficult to not get behind during events.

I’m with you Clob…I’m at the Dark Library Phase too but I’ve only got 26 reels. I spend my fair share of clams too, and increasing the popcorn from 80 to 130 killed me. it takes a looooong time to get those reels!! but i’m still plugging away!!

If you got Slasher Bait Lois… you had 24hrs to get Buddy Cianci…. so if it says expired, the timer is up on it and the page of items is complete. Moving on will be fine.

Just make sure you convert popcorn & soda for reels before phase 3 hits if it’s anything like phase 2 reels will become harder to get.
