First up, the Basic Requirements…
- Players will need to have reached Honor Point Level 11 and complete Thrice Upon a Time Pt. 8
- Players will need to be on at least Version 1.19.0 in the App Markets, so if you are not… go download it
- Players will need to have at LEAST District 3 Unlocked and Al’s completed
- Players will only see this on the Mobile App Version, not Windows Stand Alone
- PLAY THE GAME! Items unlock in stages and as you progress, so if you do not see an item it is most likely you have not progressed far enough in the Main Questline to unlock it. Check details below for more specifics on unlock points
- Don’t have a TON of Tasks open in your Task Menu. If you have too many open, no new ones can arrive. So if you do not see new Tasks popping up, clear out some there to make room.

“There is a known visual glitch where Buttercup and Cinderella Lois will still appear on top of the castle towers after they have been unlocked. The characters themselves will function properly, but they will have clones on top of the towers that you can’t interact with. We’re working on a fix!”

DRAGONS
The Dragons, on top of the other items they were already dropping, now will have the “Save Yourself Guidebooks” added to the list. Just as previously, you must meet the following prior to seeing them drop.
- Fully into Phase 4 Content (Happily Every After Questline… let me know if you see them prior to Phase 4)
- Tap on the Princesses Material Bubbles to ensure that you see the Guidebooks as part of their items dropping
- Wait for a BRAND NEW Dragon, as one already there will not update to the new item. Only a fresh new Dragon will show the new drops
If you fall under the requirements and still do not see the Guidebooks, let me know and message in to TinyCo.
There you have it, the final week content for our Grimm Knight in Quahog Event. I will still be updating a few more stats and tweaking them as I finalize verifying the game stats as I play through it. Otherwise this should help you at least get started.

Scepter drop rates seem horribly miscalculated. I’ve fully unlocked Princess Lois. For Buttercup I have everything (including books which only started this week) except a couple of Shoes which are dropping easily enough and the Scepters which I only have half of. Surely it should of been calculated so I have Scepters before Books since there was an extra week to earn them. I desperately need White Dragons only for the next couple of days to have any chance.

When this event first dropped I had high expectations. First week the drops were fine. Staying the 2nd week the drop rates crashed and I got so far behind. I only nearly no items for riding hood stewie and there’s only 3 days left. There’s too many layers of things to rely on. Rare gauntlets to MAYBE get an egg. And needing like 20 eggs to get the building you need just to get a character unlocked. This event either needed smaller timers or drop some of the resource items down to uncommon rarity or perhaps let more characters farm them. I’ve unlocked most characters in previous events and this one I got 2 and bought 1.
Anyways less rant more praise. The concept was great and I love the movie they based it on and I liked how the characters weren’t just costumes again. Ultimately if the drop rates didn’t suck I would have loved the event.

I’m super addicted. Feel the timer ticking away …would love to know your thoughts on book drops for the princesses!? Do you find they have impossiblly low drop rates? Im looking to get to phase 4 before my dragon returns but Lois is 50 books and I’m not sure if I’ll have enough time to collect them. Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for the reply!! Are the books like scepters? Something like three per dragon hit then increases numbers as you 4x and 5x hit the dragon? I just got to phase 4!! Had enough eggs banked to buy 3 out of the 5 things in the bazarr. Waiting for the dragon to return and anxious about how the guidebooks drop.

On an unrelated topic from Grimm Knight I got a game message 3 days ago saying I can watch video ads to earn clams. I clicked awesome to acknowledge the message but nothing ever came up since to actually watch a video for clams. I looked for the little TV and it’s no where to be found :-/. I messaged tiny co later that day and never heard back from them, is there something I’m missing on these videos on how to access them? Thanks 🙂

The reason I ask is due to the Clam TV shows up on the road closest to the Griffins house. So if you don’t have any roads right by it, you have to go looking for the TV. It is actually a TV that the image changes on.
For instance in my game, I have only a small square of road but it is nowhere near the Griffin’s House, but the TV is there with a bouncing Clam Icon above it.

I have searched all over my platform and nowhere to be found unfortunately, I think the game message with Tricia Takanawa (sp) was a glitch perhaps since I’ve never had these videos on my device. You ever come across anybody else getting the message for video ad watching for clams that never show up? Possible glitches like this?

I can’t get an egg from wrestling recently, either, even though I’m sending both Sir Peter and giant Chris. They were dropping for a while, so I could get grandma’s house and the six fingered man’s dungeon for hobby horses, but then it stalled. Another one really should have dropped by now. Is anybody getting them at a useful rate since the phase 4 update? I’m still in phase 3. Usually when there’s a sudden problem getting drops it’s after an update to include a new level, maybe something interferes when the player isn’t able to go to the new phase?

I think this event is poorly plan out. I love the event but they keep making the same character doing ten different things and the other 100 characters still get stuck in my storage. I like getting as much as I can and I wouldn’t mind spending clams to get them but seeing as how most are pretty useless after u obtain them…no thanks. The other events at least they give u an option that if u put enough work into it u can get most of the event items but now it seems impossible if u don’t spend clams and there’s just so much to buy that it’s insane. I hope this is not the direction they are heading towards cuz then it’s really bumming me out. I would love to hear ur opinion bunny. I have a lot of respect for u and plus u play this since day one. I still love this game but it’s not as great as it use to be so I just float along with it.

I don’t think its possible for a freemium player to earn both Princess Buttercup and Cinderella Lois. I don’t think its possible to even earn one of them. I’ve bought several of the premium characters this event and I’m still way behind. I’m still waiting for a dragon to appear that will give me those books they need, just had a new one and its a white one. I’ll be very glad when this event is over.

I see people are still having problems getting eggs from the training area.
I posted in the first week, have everything done, wait a few for everything to log in the game (characters sent on tasks), then open one and if it doesn’t have an egg or the item you need for unlocking a character, close the game quickly. Don’t claim it. Open your game back up and it should be there to open again. Sometimes it might take 5 or more tries, but eventually it will change.
I get beans and egg/item everytime using this method, and i am almost all done with the need for eggs. 2 more buildings for week 4 content and then whatever i need to build back up for the hard bazaar item.

I’m so envious of those in phase 4. The need for cloaks and sapphire eggs have totally stalled my quest. I need Red Riding Hood Stewie to advance (3 wolfsbane, 13 cloaks). I got 1 cloak in 3 tries by Chris for a common item.
I’m pretty sure that I have 50+ golden eggs. What is the exchange rates on eggs? I would like to convert golden eggs for sapphire and emerald please. My Joe and Quagmire just returned from jousting and only got beans.
It is frustrating because there is nothing that I can do. It is all about “chance”.

Well, here we are in phase 4 and I’m still working through phase 2. The wrestling is ridiculous. Requiring 4 rare gauntlet drops is really high, especially since one of the few characters who can get them (Chris) was focused on getting Harps for a long time. Then, once I finally do get enough and send both Sir Peter and Giant Chris to go (preventing me from getting more potions, which are also desperately needed), I of course get nothing. Frustrating and not fun. I doubt I will get anywhere close to finishing phase 3, let alone phase 4.

I’m gonna attempt to keep this out of WTD territory and just wanna let people know, if you’re thinking of trying for Fairygodmayor West in order to help with eggs, be aware, he has to be leveled up significantly before dropping any eggs at all. Specifically to level 9 before all eggs are available. So just beware, it’s not as immediately helpful as I had hoped.
I dropped $30 because I’m so desperate for sapphire eggs, and got lucky enough to get West, but I still don’t think he’ll be able to assist really until mid next week. I’ve sent TinyCo my…strongly worded thoughts on this hahaha.
But otherwise, Bunny, thanks for getting all this info out to everyone so quickly every time. You’re a super woman of some sort, I’m convinced at this point.

I am so disappointed with this event. I like the theme and everything, but…I got stalled in part 1 by lack of arrows, now I’m stalled in phase 2 by lack of sapphire eggs. I am used to being a little behind, as a mostly freemium player. But, I’m now 2 phases behind.

I had good success too. I wanted two things, the fairy godmayor and the troll. Took only the r tried to get them both, and the extra thing I got drops the extra rare wine bottles.
I already had the two needed wine bottles before I had enough eggs for the bazaar building that drops them.

Both princesses. I could care less about Little Red Riding Hood. Either way, it won’t be happening… I’ve been in this scenario more than once to know to just give up already.

I agree… As I know the Addicts do, I also play the Simpsons – tapped out. The only reason I enjoy that game more than this one is because, with grinding, you can always complete tapped out events. Getting all the prizes, if you put the work/time in. Family guy however is completely different. As far as I can remember since starting this game, I have never been able to complete an event and always end up missing out on a large portion of the prizes and the event itself. I know the object is to get us to spend clams, to make money. Just give us freemium players a chance. That’s all I’m asking for, is a chance to complete an event, without spending clams. Hard work and heavy grinding should be rewarded with progress not punished by missing out on half the event.

Sapphire Eggs have killed me, well lack of them. 7 wrestling matches and no eggs has saw me stall, hoping I can hit phase 4 before the end but might be unlikely. But I will keep at it and see what I end up with. Hopefully get Red Riding Stewie if I get some those sapphire eggs to drop.

It was doing same to me, unfortunately it done it far too many times and left me so far behind that I got sick of it and attempted payback for it cheating me by force-closing the game if the reward was another blank, reloaded and boom – give it a go, just bear in mind that it’ll drop whatever you done for several seconds prior to the closing (so basically just try that first before collecting any others.)
That said, I’m still WAY behind, and looking VERY unlikely to even manage to unlock Stewie, let alone get ANYWHERE NEAR Vizzini!
What might have been a good event has once again been made more of a chore than anything thanks to unreliable payout chances – you would be forgiven for thinking that when you set something going 17 times at 8 hours a shot that it would finally give you that drop you need 5 of, yeah?

I’ve also had bad drop rates for gauntlets. I finally have Giant Chris, so I sent him to wrestle this time. Keeping fingers crossed.

It looks as though they are putting stuff in the store for the last phase even though we’re not there yet and may never be, which is nice if true. Letting us pick and choose mostly in the bazaar is also nice in this event. Now if they would only have a non-clam mystery box for beans or game dollars.

Thanks for the detailed part 4 update. I’m a bit behind with the main quest line so I was wondering if I should use clams to speed it up to prevent falling behind on the new content (giant Chris is on a daylong task so, it’s not just a 5-10 clam decision lol). I think I should be ok though based on this. Princess Lois is my main goal and I’m in good shape with her. Thanks again

I got Fairy Godmother West on the First try, and 20 books on the second. Decided to stop there!
Only having Stewie to get the pouches for ruby eggs is going to make getting the buildings in the bazaar a pain, but fortunately I got Fairy Godmother West, but it is going to take several days to level him up enough to drop the ruby eggs! Hopefully I will get the second pouch soon to go to the Sorcery area to get an egg to get started on Vizzini, and then the Vines will also help with the ruby eggs.

I just had to get Minstral Bruce and Fairy Godmayor West as I love the way they both look, it took me 6 tries to get West but it was well worth it, after the 5th attempt I was left with choosing either to gamble and take one last shot at Fairy Godmayor West or to get the Ruby Egg Dragon as I only had enough clams for one of these, and luckily the gamble paid off. 🙂

I guess there will be a future need for glass slippers ? Right now only 20 are needed: 6 for Cinderella Lois and 14 for Princess Buttercup. But the Mystery Box gives one prize as 35 Glass Sliipers – and it is repeatable!

The second mystery box cleared the items I no longer needed, so I was not faced with getting repeats. Once I had all the scepters I needed, they went away, too. The first mystery box is still showing stuff I don’t need.

just spent 2100 clams on the Brian mystery box and received all the buildings, scepters(several times over), Rubys, slippers (several), and troll mort troll all before finally getting fairy godmother west. So be prepared to spend clams if you really want to go for West. The materials really did help for the princesses so it’s not aweful that I got all the others. Plus the buildings will help with vizziny. But wanted to get my results out there for anyone on the fence about divining into this mystery box.

Agreed. Little buyer’s remorse on the red one as the pouches are coming easy and the red eggs are coming easy, but it breathes fire, looks really cool!

Weird, I’ve had none and only really have I had the blue and I got two back to back.
The rest of mine have been white.
I actually prefer that since I don’t seem to get enough potions to take out the blue in time and then you are “punished” by not being able to see your potion inventory, whereas I can whip the white one and then see where I stand on potions while I wait for the next one.

I need potions so bad, I’m so behind!! i’ve given up on dragons🐉 I even had to buy the wizard and witchcraft school just to get the scales to get Wesley!! all my potion tasked characters are busy still trying to get gauntlets, because I never get a sapphire egg & I never get gauntlets!!

I do not know if this helps, but 15 for 55 Clams is not too terribly bad of a cost. Also… just ask. See if TinyCo can help. 🙂

If you buy clams regularly, I find they will sometimes hook you up when you’re having an issue. As frustrating as the game can be at times, if you’re polite they seem to want to make it a good experience. it’s worth a shot to message them. 🙂

I know you preach patience (and I try!) but only one character that can give wands to practice magic with seems a little crazy. You need 2 wands. Thoughts?
