Keep in mind that this is the Addicts Site, not TinyCo’s… so respect that we do not have to field the abuse for them, but are just giving an outlet to vent frustrations for our Readers. Here’s mine for this week:
WHAT THE DEUCE… Rare items in Short Events. Can we just do away with these please? Instead, if you want it THAT difficult, make it a 12-24hr tasks or something. Still time involved and difficulty level, but more a chance at getting the item for the time put in. Just no more items beyond Uncommon in Short Events. K thanx bai
WHAT THE DEUCE… Doctors Offices. Look, I know we all feel we are the sickest one there, but can we at least have some common human decency for those that have appointments BEFORE us? Or the fact that they had courtesy to schedule an appointment possibly weeks or months in advance. I saw some lady screaming at the people at the desk because they couldn’t let give her an appointment RIGHT NOW due to the Doctor’s were all already overbooked, she just walked in, and the lobby was full of others that did have appointments (even though and Urgent Care was right there in the same building, next desk over… 20 minute wait. Hospital across the street, 15 minute wait). If it is THAT urgent and an “emergency” then use those urgent options. Don’t freak out you walked in and the world doesn’t stop to allow you to just butt right on in. That’s what Urgent Care and ER are for.
FYI, as I sat there waiting… a guy and his 3 small very sick children came in. His wife was across street in Hospital coming out of surgery recovery soon and he asked if their appointment could be bumped sooner so he could be back over there in time to be with his wife. He said if not, he will give up his appointment to someone else and come back another day (even though their would be a “no show/cancellation fee). I knew he saw same Doctor as me, so as his 3 lil kids sat their coughing and crying I walked over and told him to take my appointment in 3 mins and I will wait the extra hour to take his spot. Kindness & Respect for others people. Know it. Use it. Give it.
FYI x 2… I am really sick of Doctor’s offices. Seems I live there now, might as well book a permanent room.

Normally I don’t need to vent on bottlenecking during events but WTD TinyCo I’ve got ONE Frizz Shampoo for Goldman and I’ve had the prize for days now. TERRIBLE DROP RATES

Such a fun event at the beginning. Good progress, measured drop rates, and even a cool side event for those not interested in mutants!
Now a lot of us seem to be at the all to predictable bottleneck that comes with every event. Just as I got good at blasting Stewies, I am now finding my 4th time of 4+ kills that return 1 box of cigs. C’mon!!
The well documented “not enough needles” is too predictable to be mad about; however, I am still frustrated the once good, but now ridiculous drop rate I am seeing for Neil cream.
Is it just me or does anyone else upset that the closer you get to meeting a requirement for a thing, the drop rate for it lowers.?

I absolutely LOVE the idea of this event
But I’ve had a huge problem trying to get anything. It took FOREVER to get Neil. I was getting the mutant Stewies great until they decided to spawn them and I can’t click the eggs and control them because they don’t come out of the eggs. Now I won’t get the timed quest because of that. I didn’t click Commando Jesus but for some reason, his timer started. I’ve spent every minute I’m able to trying to get him and am still way too far behind to get him by the time he expires so I won’t be able to get him. I wasn’t able to get Joe, either, because they decided to change the way you earn twinklies all of a sudden so I couldn’t use my water to get Joe even though I WAS close to getting him. I didn’t have mutants so I couldn’t get the cigarettes, so I was just stuck with watching the timer go down and I didn’t get him.
Well, I just now looked at Commando Jesus to see if there was any possible way I could pay for him and guess what? Out of NOWHERE, Ollie popped up and his timer started. (He wasn’t there before, it was just Jesus.)
So now since I’m nowhere near the third act, there’s absolutely no way I’ll earn Ollie, either, and I’m just so extremely disappointed in this event.
I’ve invested a LOT of money into this game and I don’t want to just stop playing it and lose all of those purchases and everything… but at the same time, this game keeps making me like it less and less every time I open it! I’m so frustrated!!

I just want this event over…IT*S NOT FUN! I used a dart on Carter.. guess what happened after? He got turned to a mutant so I couldn’t even do anything. Chris is ok, I can just cure him and he’s ok for a couple of hours, but the mutants are just going so much overboard.

Message them right away. Per their info, a Mutant should NOT turn again within 24hrs of being one. So if he turns right back, something is up.

Seems that they somehow found the bug and reverted stuff. I started the game and I had characters finished with tasks but I had already set them to tasks right before coming here. I got my dart back and used on carter and he’s now human.

I can confirm that that’s not even close to being true. The only mutant I spend my darts on is Carter because I need what he’s dropping. He turns constantly. They are not keeping to a 24 hour time limit.

Report it please. I am anytime I see it… but I have a TON of characters that have option to turn.
Also factor in WHEN they turned. For instance if it took you a day to earn Darts to cure him, then there is a chance that he will turn again as 24hrs passed since he first turned.

I’ll report it but no one will do anything. I’m still waiting for response on all of my bug reports and problems from the last event. They never respond to me.

Even if no response, at time they still see the details so it helps to message in. Then when I tell them “players reporting…” they can see it in the reported messaging too.

Mutant Stewies have stopped spawning from eggs now. It’s hard enough completing these events without the problems… but then they throw in these issues and it’s just impossible to get the resources needed to finish anything.

So, for the record. Carter and Bruce continue to turn into mutants many times a day. I submitted a report to support several days ago. Not only have they not responded. They deleted the post. Awesome job TinyCo! That’s how your stay a tiny co.

. I had over 80 Twinkies saved up for sidewalk joe by the time the second week started, but couldn’t get the rest before the timer ran out. When I saw how hard cigarettes were to get, I broke down and bought the dart factory, but it hasn’t helped. I just now got the Capitol. There is no way I’ll be able to get Stan and do his actions to unlock commander Jesus. I’d consider using clams but the only thing he does ( skulls) I don’t need. This event started so nicely and went to hell quick in week 2.. Then I finally get Neil, but can’t use him for darts because I need 32 rare helmets!!!

What the deuce! I have been needing only one Acne medicine for the last 2 days and nothing has dropped. Why am I still having to work on getting something from week one when week three is about to start! “Extra rare,” try “impossible!” Bah!

The more i play this game and seeing the Jesus counter count down ( I’m officially at two days left.) The more and more I’m seeing him way out of reach and its becouse of the darts. Bottleneck #2- 6 hours to get 2 darts for me is 3 becouse i finished neil off with clams couse i sick of nothing dropping. Unless you have a butt load of money for clams then you could have 5 darts ever 6 hours. I say its out of reach for me and alot of other fellow gamers is being 90 percent freemium and only at getting no matter how hard i try around 30 to 40 twinkies a day ( thanks bottleneck #2 ) i have almost 500 waterbottles and pretty much 0 cigs at all times except after 8 hrs. and 15 mins. i can bomb 3 mutants witch is 30 cigs witch enough for 1 exchange of twinks at a time sometimes 2 depending on how many mutants i bomb, bottleneck #3 as soon as weekly challenge 3 srarted you need 150 stewies, guess what WHERE ARE THEY! I have no issuse with bombs thanks furniture stores in fact im to like 50 bombs with no stewies to bomb. In the past day and a half I’ve only been able to bomb 54 since the quest started. I in game message and get robot everthing is dropping as intended. What the deuce………….these past couple of events have had my finger hoovering over the uninstall button, and my finger is getting really heavy. The only reason i don’t is I’ve been playing since the start and i don’t want to see all of my useless characters that i either bought or worked so hard for to just disappear. That us why jesus is out of reach for me and probably a lot of others too. Happy gaming.

I’m still working on Neil also.
My big WTD!!! moments so far are the two times that a mutated character has been able to walk away from my dart gun as I’m pressing the fire button. No dart, no cigarettes, no character to go get whatever I had them making.
Are Jesus cloaks still needed for anything after him? I had enough for his quest when I clicked on him, but they are still dropping when I drop smoke bombs.

Well, this event went downhill fast.
Week 1 was going so nicely, and I planned my Stockpile Tanker purchases so that 24 hours would be plenty of time to earn the remaining twinkies get Joe. Then week 2 came around introducing cigarettes and I didn’t get a single Twinkie for more than a day. Now my progress has slowed down to molasses and I can only suspect it’s going to get worse from here.
This is not fun, TinyCo!

Sort of echoing some other complaints m, but Is there ANY WAY to get the darts more quickly? SO MANY OF MY CHARACTERS ARE MUTANTS AUUUGGGHHHH. I can’t do anything. 😦 I’d love to get Commander Jesus, but I’d be happy just to get Neil, and with the drop rates low and basically all ny characters out of comission… Just seems kind of hopeless.

OMG WTD. I still don’t have Neil. I mean come on. 7 out of 12 Acne Creams so far and I’ve been going since start. I need 5 more. 5!!! I can’t remember the last time one dropped for me. I have 2 characters going on them plus the building.
Plus 3 days and 5 hours left before I need to unlock Jesus. I’ll probably ave everything but Stan’s skin. I’m sitting on 45 twinkies, but I’m at the point where I need to unlock the egg hatchery. That’s 60 twinkies. Then two more buildings to go before the 120 needed for Stan. WTD. Added to this Cigs drop at a terrible rate.Sure the darts are the best to get them but notice above where Neil is out of reach and both characters for darts are of course an overlap for cream. Classically done TC. Make the bottle necks share characters. They’re either diabolical and do this on purpose or they don’t actually think these things through.
Has anyone unlocked Jesus yet? Does this one also have a potential clam drop or is it just normal tasks?

Utterly ridiculous. Probably gonna quit playing. I only started a couple of months ago and am trying to catch up to unlock the core characters, but at the moment ten of them are mutants, and will be til the end of this event, can’t open new districts. I don’t care about this apocalypse rubbish, I just want to actually progress in the game. At the moment these events only benefit those who started ages ago, to me they’ve killed the game.

If it makes you feel any better, I doesn’t benefit freemium players at all, no matter how long we’ve been playing. Last summer they decided to get greedy and it’s been downhill since then. I’m not sure why I play anymore either. It hasn’t been fun in a long time.

So 6 hours and 45 minutes to craft a dart to cure a character and not have them pay out that rare item I still need. Then start the whole process all over again. WTD?????!!!!
