I just want to remind everyone that the end is nigh, and TinyCo will soon be lowering the main sail and dropping the anchor on this event.
Also wanted let you know you’re not alone if you’re getting connection errors, I and other players are also experiencing the issue. I find if I completely shut down game and keep trying I’m getting in for brief moments, enough to collect and set tasks. So keep trying whilst TinyCo try resolve things.
WHEN DOES THE EVENT END?
Tuesday 27th September at 3 pm PDT. Keep in mind they are usually VERY punctual on this. There is no leeway.
WILL IT BE EXTENDED?
NO.
CAN I CONTINUE COLLECTING AFTER THE EVENT?
NO. When the Event Ends, it takes all the Event items and Currency remaining with it. That means ANY Character/Costume not completely unlocked and walking your game… will go when the Event does. You MUST collect all the items needed for them to get them.
This goes for Buildings and Decorations. Unlock/Purchase all the ones you want as they will go with the Event. And of course the leaderboards.
WHAT HAPPENS TO EXTRA CURRENCY?
Anything linked to the Event goes with the Event, so that means currency too. Use it or lose it essentially.
I CAN’T GET MORE ITEMS!!
Keep in mind the game is set up to pull items from the Inventory Storage first, so if you already have say… 10 of an item in Inventory… you will need to pull ALL 10 items out first before the game will let you buy more.
Place items from Inventory first, then you can get more. Continue buying until you have all you want, then store them away.
QUESTLINES?
The ONLY Questlines that usually continue on after an Event are those directly linked to unlocking a Character or Costume and isolated from the Main Questline. All other Questlines are directly linked to the Event and will go with it.
There you have it, some basics for closing out the Peter’s Booty Haul Event.

Family Guy Addicts 
As a newer player (approximately 2ish months), this has officially been the first quest that I’ve been able to participate in from start to finish, & I have two questions:
1) When the new event begins, will it be likely or unlikely that all the items that are placed in the water may now be able to be moved to land?
2) Will the new event start right away, or will it be a few days?

I’m thinking the water and the items that can be placed will stay.
New events tend to start Wednesday or Thursday so unless TinyCo throws us a curve ball I’d be looking at tomorrow, but again until it hits that’s speculation.

Quick question, my shipwreck point timer will end after the event ends is it a safe assumption I should use a few clams to get my clam payout or do you think it will still pay the one last time? Thanks for the helpful site as always

Remember Shipwreck Point will payout clams until 3rd October, it won’t stop tonight. The time was extended on that item alone due to issues at the start of the event. So keep collecting until 3rd.

I spent $1000 on clams and BOUGHT everything possible. Finished everything and speeding up most of the tasks, now I’m bored.
SHUT UP MEG, nobody cares.
95% of the people that actually PLAY the game don’t care to hear how the other 5% BOUGHT their way through it.

I must admit the word bored is not thrown about much with regards to Quest For Stuff, but I see it used a lot about the “other” game.

I am pretty laid back for this event, so taking my time to clear old quests and get items for new characters when I can. Considered an accomplishment when I was able to unlock Peter Pan in time just yesterday! FG events always make me super nervous especially time is of the essence! However, I am just happy to be able to finally unlock one of my favorite characters – Mayor West!
With the remaining resources, I have just enough to get the last grand prize from the first 2 weeks, Neverland and Jolly Roger, which I think I will since they look very attractive as decorations. One other tip, I bought myself a 7-headed sea serpent with my extra coins. Just get 7 heads, 1 body and 1 tail. Always tickled when the 7 heads moved in tandem. Ha ha ha!

I wonder how many others realize that, although they were very expensive at the time, the last item on each page of the House of Booty was NOT timed, and you can go back and buy them now, with all the excess “currency” (Salt and Limes) that are no longer very useful on the newer items. I also bought Neverland (I already had the Jolly Roger), and even grabbed a few other items that I will likely just store, but what the heck! 🙂

Have you any idea if there’s something new starting immediately today, or if we’ll get a one day break and get sth new on the usual Thursday? I want to finish the individual characters’ quests but I’m afraid that if I send Lois on the 1-day task I’ll get stuck in a new mini event, which would mean losing it if I start a day later.

Not heard anything yet, my guess something will possibly start tomorrow, but honestly that is just a guess, no information as yet of what’s to come.

I can’t get on the game to get the last few items. After the tinyco screen it just goes black. I’m on android and use a Lenovo Yoga tablet.

Have you tried force closing your game, shutting down and restarting your tablet? Have you saved your game to email or Facebook, if so a fresh install then reloading your game is another option.

I did try force closing the game but it didn’t work. I have just tried clearing the cache and the game loads now. It still goes to a black screen initially but it brings up the splash screen after a few seconds but it takes a while to load up.

Let me explain how greedy these ******** are. They’ve increased the “ship wheel” price from 8 clams to 16 clams _on the last day_….. No ****** words for this. Now I’m deefinitelly not be able to finish davy jones. I’m getting more and more dissapointed by the greedyness of tiny co……

There was always a disparity between the total unlock cost of Davy Jones and the individual items. Sounds like TinyCo fixed that, but I can understand your disappointment as it leaves the ship wheels costing more. However please remember the site is PG even though Family Guy isn’t so as they say, please mind your language.

I too was disappointed to see this on the last day. It has been so difficult to attack the squid (I only once got past level three and that required a few clams to speed up the latest anchor). Cool down time was reduced but resources so slow to get.
Anyway I never spend clams on characters unless it is a small amount to finish the requirements. I was considering buying the last 15 wheels (120 clams… way more than I would usually consider) but not now. Annoying hinges is that I spent 5 clams speeding up an anchor yesterday to earn 7 wheels from the squid and reduce the amount I would have to buy… but now the price has doubled I’m not going to so those 5 were wasted. If they ‘fixed’ it before the last day it.would be nicer. Or they should have fixed it the other way (reduce the total unlock cost… was their mistake after all!)
Ah well never mind. Pointless character anyway I guess!

Yes, and instead of decreasing the total unlock cost, they increased the individual prices. How Noble (greedy). I could have told a joke here about a shark and a man, but i think it would hit your mild PG filter as well 😛 (BTW, what’s wrong with “illegitimate child”?)
Back on the topic: Yeah, fix on the last day. If it was an error on their side, why not chose the option to be for ppl. to unlock easier.

I agree when the disparity is between 2 amounts, and the error is theirs they should always use the lower figure, especially that late in the day.
And I have no issues with “illegitimate children”, in fact I work for a place that seems to be full of them, lol. 😀😀😀

Does anyone know what happened to the Brian Mystery Box? They clearly planned to have it as there is a rock with Brian on it just like the Stewie one, but it’s still greyed out & nothing happens when you tap on it. I’m assuming it won’t be released now since there are only 18hours left until the event end. Is this the same for everyone or just a glitch in my game? I can’t see TinyCo missing out on a chance for us to spend more clams. Strangely enough I was looking forward to that one. Loved this event myself as there was loads to do, but I just wish they would quit doing leaderboards. It makes no sense that the top load of people are so far ahead when I know how many clams I’ve used and didn’t come close. Leaderboards just seem unfair to me and I would personally rather give us ALL the option to pay for the prizes if they want them than limit them to only a few. Aside from that, great event! Anyway, if any of you know what happened to the mystery box please let me know. Thanks

The Fun in the Sun mystery box was released with Phase 4, we did a post on it. Have you tried tapping on the area of the game where Brian is riding the serpent?

Just looked at the prizes you posted were in Brian’s Mystery Box and I think the reason it’s greyed out & won’t open is because I already had all the prizes. Thanks for the post. At least now I know I haven’t missed anything.

It felt like there was usually way too much to do all at the same time & with the same characters in this event; at one stage I had two new characters to unlock and the outfit for Seamus plus boss battles and a weekly challenge, the fishing mini-game, the various ship attacks, materials still in demand from previous weeks and some side quests to complete. Was that all? Maybe I forgot something…!
I’ve reached the final week content but still 30 ship wheels away from unlocking Davy Jones even though I collected his other stuff long ago; so not going to be able to finish him and also haven’t got very far towards Carter’s outfit. That’s a pity as I would’ve liked that one for the rarity value and it looks smart.
It’s been a fresh idea to use the water in this event, yet still not very fun with the challenge level so high. We know to expect this pretty much every event now though.

I want to like all these events but they get harder and harder.. I think I did OK this time but started behind on kindle so have missed part 4 there is no point with a day left to even try. So I will jus save what I can to get the last couple leftover buildings. I don’t need them but might as well spent coins and bits I still got.. I am annoyed tho about dagger mouth cuz at the weekend Im pretty sure I had 30 spare parts and then couple days later only had 17 dunno what happened 😢hopefully can get help if I write to them. And I think I lost some wheels for Davy jones but can’t remember exactly how many I had 😐

Remember Fancy Seamus needed ship wheels as well, so if you created that costume that’s probably why your ship wheels went down.

Personally, this was the MOST enjoyable event yet! I got everything and only purchased 1 character. Nothing left to do but maintain my place on the leader board. I want that Stewie costume! To bad there isn’t something more interesting to purchase with all of the fish bones I have.

This event started late, is ending early and was loaded with glitches and poor drop rates. There are literally not going to be enough hours left in the day to get Duke of Lacrosse Carter for me. Very poor event, I should have just given up a week ago. There’s also at least a half-dozen buildings I can’t get (most of which are/were optional, fortunately) due to the poor drop rates, etc. I also always seemed to be 1 short at all times during this event, one short of some sort of booze for a ship attack, one short of something for a squid attack, constantly. The drop rates and glitches need serious improvement, because this isn’t fun anymore unless you literally never sleep and can constantly babysit this game. Very frustrating and I’m sure there are others in even worse shape than I am.

After a slight squid hiccup I am now almost finished with the event. One armada attack will complete the quests, I have achieved all the new costumes and my questioned are almost done. I have bought the premium characters that were on offered but that is the only clams I have spent. I haven’t had to use clams to get extra materials or speed things up, this event has been a challenge but doable…. This one is getting a thumbs up from me for how well it has played out. Looking forward to what ever the next event is now.
