I Loved the X-Files so can’t wait for this update. I really enjoyed Fringe, but there was no comparison to Mulder and Scully. Also a lot of the scenes were filmed in central Ma which is where I am from. Bring on the event!!

Wow… REALLY??? Why did I remove it?? What has FOX done for me? Well they have NOT sued me for any copyright infringement or violations, so there is that. They have NOT shut down MY site or sent their army of attorneys after me, so there is that. MY lil site is still here to help players due to I follow their rules and regulations, so there is that.
But you know, if you would rather come here and complain that I am protecting MY site from a huge massive worldwide corporation that is FOX… kind of defeats the purpose don’t you think? Or would you prefer the site not be here anymore for you to put trolling comments like this one? Just sayin. 🙂

Why are you even still bothering Trolling? You do not know me personally, what calls I get, what emails I receive, or what happens on a daily basis around here. Regardless of what you ASSUME… there is a lot more going on in the background than you will ever know when it comes to this blog. Just ask the two new gals that have been tossed into the FULL behind scenes of what is the Addicts. Wow a whole two days off. That’s the most they’ve done in a while. I do need it to finish up all those side quests from the last event. Last event ran very smoothly for me actually. Here’s to hoping the next one is as good.

I have never had a real interest in the serious sci-fi shows, with the exception of the Twilight zone, and even there, I prefered the episodes that were sillier or more humorous. If they did a Red Dwarf or Doctor Who event, then I would be excited. As for the next event, I hope they do some unique game play, and stick with the not having to buy all the various buildings with drops in a specific order, or at all. At this point, I only get really unique or cool buildings, as i do not need to generate any more coins at this time, and 90% of my stuff is in inventory, and I rotate it in and out depending on my mood! *chuckle*

It was an official image but TinyCo released it too soon. Not worried as we know what’s coming, when it’s coming and we’re going be seeing that splash screen plenty once the event starts in ernest. I’m super excited for this event.

My wife and I loved Twin Peaks which flashed and burned out too quickly…but, it did provide an inspiration to the X-Files in terms of the mood and framing…I got into the show early and watched until the whole mess with David Duchovny and his contract…when they announced he was abducted until further notice, I lost interest as Mulder was the heart and soul of that show IMHO…
Plus, I was mad when he messed up his marriage, I mean, really, dude, you were married to Tea Leoni…I know TinyCo licenses the characters, but the FGQFS writers are irreverent enough to maybe poke ‘Mulder’ with tasks such as, “Ask for Tea’s Forgiveness’…or, “Shop for Really Big Alien Diamonds”…

I can’t believe that it has already been a year since the “Death At The Drive-In” event. This past year has gone by so fast.. One of the main attractions I have in my game is the Drive-In. I also hope they re-release some of the characters which they did not re-release last year (as I missed the first Halloween).
My first ever event was “PeterPalooza”, so I have been playing for just over a year now. 😀

I started playing this game 2 months after it came out. I have never been excited about the prospect of a future event as I am with this one. Mulder, Scully, Skinner, Smoking Man, other endless possibilities. Will we find Fox’s sister?

I’ve pretty much been playing since the start and only ever spent clams on some of the Comicon characters (and to finish requirements where I was pretty close, i.e. – < 50 clams to unlock). But X-Files is something that I will definitely spend some of my hard-earned clams on.

I’m RussianTigger, no monkeys here, honest. Bunny asked me to help as her & Wildthornberry needed someone to take a hands on role whilst Bunny took a break. This site works the same as the TSTO Addicts site, only without Alissa & Wookiee.

Short story long… we started Family Guy Addicts with just Alissa & Me (Wookiee had no interest from time I started reaching out when the game was rumored long before release). We had guest posters from other TSTO sites “wanting” to join… but never really got too into it from there. Not too long after launch and about a year and a half ago, Alissa decided the game just wasn’t for her, which is just fine. This game is not TSTO and not the same other than similar Build a Town style. I have been running the site alone from that point on with a guest poster here and there helping out. Since being Readers, Lotty/Wildthornberry & Russian Tigger have been guest posting here and there and keeping constant communication with me behind the scenes. They just were not in a position to help at that time.
Just before Christmas last year I fell very very very ill and had to be in Hospital/Home Care a lot. I knew the site needed to keep going as Readers still needed the info, so I asked Lotty to take on more of a role… but it is not an easy one. Then as my health this year just made my life come to a halt, I finally gave in and asked for MORE help as it is quite a load to handle. Russian Tigger was then put on as a more permanent role too like Lotty.
With the ability being updated, Lotty and Russian Tigger can now both write, post, moderate comments, and help me overall with all the site things I was doing alone and struggling with. They wanted me to just stop a while, take a break, catch my breath… they are AMAZING for the way they both stepped in and stepped up to cover for me. I am still here and have still been… just more in the background continuing to do all the things you Readers don’t visually see need to happen on a daily basis. Like contacting TinyCo about issues, glitches, Players issues emailed to me, etc. I still help Lotty and Russian Tigger with posts and contributed to many all event… just my name wasn’t on them as Russian Tigger or Lotty created them for the site. Russian Tigger has had a LOT of free time, so she was happy to help with more than usual this Event.
Hope that helps clear it up. Having a team is a great thing!! I needed one, I now have one. 🙂

Appreciate the humor in both though. I read some comments on another similar site which lambasted the lack of updates here. Insensitive and ignorant. If you come across those comments don’t put it to heart. All moderators are doing their best to help by posting as they play. Not easy. Everyone’s doing a great job. Keep it up!

I just streamed a few episodes on Netflix, yeah this is good! Of course now I’ll be binge watching while playing! I’m in the U.S., guess I just assumed x files was just another cop show on tv. The several episodes I just now watched are kinda scary, good Halloween theme, plus I like alien themed stuff. I hope Roger shows up in this event.
