UPDATE BUNNY 945PM EST: There is a hold on the Event for Halloween right now. We will update when we get more information. For now, enjoy the break and time to breathe a bit and maybe pass off a few tasks that you have hanging out for months (or is that just me? Lol). I assume if we see anything tomorrow, it will be the usual 6-9pm ish TinyCo time… but that is only a complete guess. WHEN it actually rolls around, you will see a new post go up on the site letting you know. 🙂

I find it really quite annoying that TC can’t even take 30 seconds to make a Facebook post or something to apologise for the delay to us all, shows how much they really care about us. Just a simple “sorry, working on a few bugs, will get it running as soon as we can, thank you for being patient” but nothing. I’m just glad you guys are here to help us addicts know that we are not alone

I updated my game on my android phone, to version 1.29.2 however no opening screen difference or any new game content yet. It is 10:10 pm CST. I cant wait!!!! Happy Halloween Addicts!

I did the update but now my town is full of black blocking, and no new content at all?? Anyone else experiencing their roads as nothing but black blocking? What a silly update. Lol! I read someone had a new Halloween task? Does everyone/anyone have new content???

Can’t wait for the event to start, but with the free time I finally managed to unlock Evil Monkey, it took a long time but now it’s done and I can take a short break until the event hits.

I think I am done with this game the new model of this game is come out with a new theme and characters make people spend money but the original game play does not work. I was at the point of clearing nerds and it crashed tiny co had to step in now the blimp site does not work so another support email. The other issue is when an event is over and you have a new character our skin you never use them or the building again. So it was fun while it lasted but I think I am done.

Hi, is anyone else having trouble logging into game? On my android when I try to log in it says upgrade to continue, but when hit upgrade button it takes me to the app store where there’s no upgrade available. So o can’t log in at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you log in on an updated apple device? If so you might only be able to access on that until the new update hits the play store.

My game won’t load at all right now. It says I need to update, but there is no update in Google play. I hope they figure this out before I need to collect from shipwreck point! Anyone else having this trouble?

I redoenloaded the game just for the Halloween event, because it always better than the rest, took me sheer luck to see it is delayed. Your edit should be its own post, at the top of the page, rather than edit to an older one. Thanks.

I have 400 clams and the only two option in the box are Super Devil and Maniac Pope. Wouldn’t mind either, but wonder if they’ll be useful at all or I should save them for one of the characters in the event. Leaning towards the latter, but willing to hear opinions.

I got the super devil in another box, I didn’t find him anything special, I am enjoying my new maniac pope tho.. at end of the day you just have to decide if you REALLY like those characters and want them in YOUR Quahog lol!

It looks like the only characters you will see in the mystery box are the ones you don’t already have. For me that was Satan, Patty, and maniac pope. I really wish that TinyCo would get rid of the leaderboard garbage.

There is a Paranormal Preview Mystery Box in the shopping area. You can get various characters from past events for 150 clams each.

Luckily I just got a bonus at work and hadn’t come up with a better way to squander it yet, another character boosting Mystery Box with old characters for 150 clams per try crops up. I already had one that appeared in the ad portion so no idea what characters totally are avaiable, but I was able to finally get Maniac Pope. Wait. I got Maniac Pope?!?! Worth it!!!! I’m sure the crew here will be updating us soon with the whole available cast…

I updated and when I opened the game I was greeted with a new item in the store: the Paranormal Preview Mystery Box. “Get ready for Halloween with spooky characters and outfits in this haunting Mystery Box! Get it before it disappears tomorrow!” 150 clams to open, and mine had Vampire Duck Stewie, Super Devil, Maniac Pope, and Patty. Witch Connie also appears on the main screen, but I already had her.

No idea if everyone gets the same Daily Quests which bring characters out of Tan Lines, but I am still amazed that the main characters who will be or are being used in events are a part of that pool. Today? I have Peter on a 12 hour mission when a new event is supposed to start. I know they are optional, but when it can help me get to the Evil Monkey??? You know I’m doing those quests…

I don’t recall getting long tasks for Peter in the Daily Quests; at least not often. However, I am sitting on a 10 hour task for Mort, until the new event rolls out, and if he’s not needed immediately, I will send him on that task overnight. If you do the long ones overnight, you miss a maximum of 1 other task/drop that the character might otherwise complete. (Unless you are an insomniac, of course, as it seems a number of the loyal FG Addicts are.) 🙂

Now that I have Evil Monkey, I won’t feel that pressure as much, but I do like the satisfaction of completing the quests.
Arguably even worse than the above is Jesus, who is always on a 24 task for clams.

If an option to get the Touchdown Jesus costume ever comes up again, you should absolutely pick it up! His clam task is only 12hrs and it’s a (rare, admittedly) chance of 2-4 clams per drop! fwiw, I’ve only ever noticed that I get 4 clams when he does drop them. 🙂
So glad I did whatever it was I did to get him during the Gridiron event! 🙂 He looks amusingly ridiculous in his football uniform. loo

I’ve got him and had him on task since the football event ended, he’s due a break but he’s not getting one. Just one thing the task is “Completely forsake Cleveland Sports Teams” and it’s a 24 hour task. He’s only ever dropped 4 clams for me when he does drop. He was well worth the effort.

Whadya know? I think maybe because it says “1 day” & not “24 hours” I got thrown off & thought it was 12hrs. lol
But…I just went & put him on task…now it says “rare chance of 2 clams”! I *know* it used to say 2-4 clams!!!! & it DEFINITELY said 2-4 when I got him. Hrm…I hope it hasn’t been changed via a recent update! I guess I’ll have to pay attention next time he drops some clams…

Just ignore the challenge if it requires a crucial character during an event… Evil Monkey is not timed. It is annoying when someone like Peter or Lois is needed, but really can just wait for the next challenge!

It’s basically the opposite of TSTO because that does an in game update and then the store update IS the trigger but it’s the other way round for FGQFS. I only dip in and out of the Family Guy game when an event takes my fancy – I always play Halloween updates and if this Halloween is like the Booty Haul event, which I liked because it was actually finish able, then I will love it 😃

It really is. With TinyCo… they usually wait til it is ready for release to Hit that “go” and let it out to public, but you can prep for it. TSTO is just “if you see it, you got it” Lol

When I want to challenge myself… FGTQFS
I grew up gaming and so the Challenge part really speaks to me. I remember playing games like Legend of Zelda or Lunar and stuck for days as it didn’t really tell me what I had to do next. Or I would die because I wasn’t strong enough to pass a Boss. So I would start again, build up higher strength, and try again.
At times I just want to shut my mind off and just zone out on a game, enter TSTO or even more simplistic… games like Futurama. Just tap here, go there, done.
I appreciate games for their creativity and art too and I really have to say the imagery that goes into FG…WOW… some of the lil teeny tiny details are pretty cool, just wish I could design my town more like I do TSTO and leave more out. Main downside for me, all the cool things… in Inventory.

I updated the app as soon as I saw it in my app store, but after it downloads it opens back to the regular scene. update doesn’t work yet except the change of icon image with new scene on my screen. 😦
