NEW EVENT! WOOHOO! Our lil town of Quahog just go a lil bit spookier. Ghosts, Goblins, and James Woods??!! Oh My!
With all the New Content in the game, there will be a lot of New Questlines to keep us going from Phase to Phase, in this Event from Case to Case. For Case 1, the Main Questline is a mix of Return to Rocky Point & Give Up the Ghost.

At this point you will need to decide if this Prize is really worth it to you. It WILL be hard to get and may require Clam spending to do so.

There you have it, the Main Questline taking you through your first Case of the Hauntening. As well as some Side Questlines centered around the Concierge.

However I’ve checked and the correct information and timer warning were in the main event is live post, sorry you didn’t see it. personally I’m going let last prize go and hoard some keys in hope they will be useful in Case 2. But apologies again.

I had to start over, even though I was never banned from the leader boards from the Pirate event…which makes no sense, because from the answer that you gave me, I thought you were actually supposed to be banned from the boards. Also, some people have said that they got the same error and they never had any issues of any corruption or anything

So when i travel to the halloween part area……all buttons dissapear…cant get back to quahog, and cant click the exclamations points in the hotel..keep getting stuck….anyone else experience this?

I have not seen any reports of this. Can I ask what you are using to play the game? Device? Model? Etc? Anyway to send me screenshots (you can email them to me if you’d like)

Interesting design having the event go by cases. It’s nice that it’s 10 days long, but the annoying part of this event is the fact that the same characters that drops items required to possibly spawn ghosts are also the same characters you have to use to unlock items for Sheriff Peter (I.E., Peter drops both salt and chains, Jerome can drop salt or Sheriff badges, Lois can drop chains or Handcuffs).

The main reason is they need to use the core characters that are unlocked early in the game in order players that are new to the game can take part in events.

He is linked to this first “Case” Phase of the Event. Waiting for Clarification, but if it is as they say… if he is not unlocked by time Case Closes, he may not be able to be unlocked beyond that point… but again, waiting til I get verification. 🙂

Ok I’m totally lost. Is unlocking james woods and sheriff Peter case 1? If so this event is already starting out impossible with the limited timer, rare and extra rare drops and overlapping characters. If that is true it will be very frustrating and difficult event

Don’t let the amount of content on day one cause you angst. It is only day one. You still have 10 days to work on all the new content (normally Phases were only a week). Just take it one day at a time and let the Questlines walk you through your priorities. Focus on Ghosts and getting Peter & Poltergeists as soon as you can as they will be a HUGE source of Ectoplasm.
In the meantime, this is all brand new, so I am asking TinyCo for clarification on James Woods and will report back once I have it.
Just play, have fun, see where it takes you and check back in with us in 5 days to see where you are. 🙂

I noted this in the Main post (linked at top of this post under image). It IS there, just Leaderboard Icon is hiding it. They are working on resolving that.

It isn’t BY it… It was UNDER it. Lol. TinyCo is putting out a patch to fix that though. You may need to wait, or restart your game and you will see it. 🙂
