The Hauntening 101: Boss Battles – Frankenstein

Hey there fellow pod people!!!

The seriously spooky and spaced out creatures from Case 1 are nothing compared to the evil that’s now finding its way into our Quahog’s with Case 2. There’s been demons, possessions, boogeymen and now one of the best monsters in horror history is making an appearance, Frankenstein, or Frankenstein’s monster to give him his proper title.

frankenstein-bossThe arrival of a new Boss would usually send a shiver down my spine but looking at Frankenstein I don’t think he’s going to be any where near as tough as he looks.

Let’s take a look at Case 2 – Part 2  and see exactly what it takes to summon Frankenstein to our hotels in order to battle him in return for precious resources.  I’ve always felt sorry for this big fella, but the game calls for him to be taken down, so who am I to disagree.

For more information on the Event, go HERE

HOW DO I START SEEING FRANKENSTEIN IN MY GAME?

In order to be able to start seeing Frankenstein in Rocky Point you will need to be in Case 2 – Part 2 and progress through the Main Questline to Return to Rocky Point Pt 15. At that point you will trigger Coming to Getcha. This secondary main Questline will introduce you to Frankenstein.

At this point you have will also have triggered the ability to collect the gasoline needed to defeat Frankenstein as he wanders your hotel.

HAUNTED ROOMS

You will not find Frankenstein in any particular room, he will just be wandering somewhere in Rocky Point with a timer above him.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BATTLE FRANKENSTEIN?

GasolineFrankenstein is similar to other bosses we have seen in past events in that he’s the big baddie who keeps on giving, but how do we get him to drop his bolts? Well we need to attack him with gasoline. Sounds nasty doesn’t it, but hey it’s effective so let’s get on with it.

You can get gasoline from the following sources:

Gasoline (Common): Lois Freshen Up OR Mad Scientist Hartman Puff Out His Chest OR Franken-Bonnie Fix Her Hair OR The Playground OR Frankenstein’s Lab (Concierge)

The amounts of gasoline needed increases for each attack level and a full breakdown of what’s needed at each level is in the table that follows. Many players report success in these battles by stocking up on the necessary item before starting an attack, I’ve personally done this in the past but the success of this depends on his revival time. I’ve fully defeated him to 4X and it took him 8 hours to return in my game.

The amounts you will need to defeat Frankenstein through the levels are as follows:

Battle Resource – GASOLINE

Battle Resource Attack Level
1 Gasoline 1X
2 Gasoline 2X
3 Gasoline 3X
5 Gasoline 4X

So in order to fully defeat Frankenstein within 24 hours you will need 11 Gasoline.

HOW DO I BATTLE FRANKENSTEIN

The battle modus operandi is similar to that of previous boss battles, click on Frankenstein and at the bottom it will tell you how much gasoline you need to defeat him at his current level.

Once you have gathered the required gasoline the SHOCK button will appear, tap this to complete the attack at that level.

Once you have battled Frankenstein to 4X Level OR his 24hr timer runs out, he will go into “sleep mode” for a while (still testing time frame). You will need to wait uuntil he revives to battle him again or pay 20 Clams to speed up the process.

WHAT REWARDS DO I GET?

The rewards you get are two-fold, Lightning Bolts for trading at the Front Desk/Cloakroom and Wedding Rings which are needed to unlock the Franken Bonnie Costume.

What you will get at each level is as follows:

REWARDS

Rewards Attack Level
10 Lightning Bolts & 4 Wedding Rings 1X
24 Lightning Bolts & 8 Wedding Rings 2X
36 Lightning Bolts & 12 Wedding Rings 3X
65 Lightning Bolts & 20 Wedding Rings 4X

You will need 65 wedding rings to help unlock the Franken Bonnie Costume.

HOW QUICKLY WILL FRANKENSTEIN REVIVE ONCE TIMED OUT OR DEFEATED?

There is no information as to how long it takes for Frankenstein’s revival, however in my game after fully defeating him at Level 4X he returned 8 hours later. I stress this is just results from my game.

There you have it, the monstrous facts about Frankenstein. What are your thoughts? Have you started to battle him yet? If so, are you enjoying this monster addition to our games? Any other tips for fellow players? Let us know.

    • He will time out, sleep, in my game for about 8 hours, then he will awake and be back at 1X with 24 hours to battle him again.

  3. If we use clams to revive frank, is it for another 24 hours or for just one more attack?

  4. It would be good at the end to have an option to purchase characters with the 100’s of magnifying glasses I’ve got, its not really fair that every extra character is a clam option, I have bought so many characters with clams and tinyco should recognise this and throw a couple of freebies to its loyal customers, I’m sure other addicts would agree. P.s loving this site and than for all your walkthroughs. 🙂

  7. I think I need to pull Zeus out of Tan Lines to start tossing some lightning bolts Franks way to get him up and moving around again.

    • I’ve already fully defeated him and am attacking him again now with only have the drops from Lois, The Playground and Frankenstein’s Lab.

  9. Logged in only to find all my progress from day 1 has been reset, no inventory either, all premium characters and buildings gone. Sent an email to Tinyco, but haven’t heard back from them yet. This is painful.

      • The Hoe costume with those trouble looking things, the high amount of cost of items in the catalog with little payment to get the amount of keys needed for the item. The drop rate from the demons. How long it too me to get Mort despite me having him. This event is horrible. Not last year Halloween event horrible. That was a nightmare, but roughly A Grim Knight in Fairy Tale or whatever, horrible.
